Absolutely amazing quality of food, ordered large mixed grill 2 full kg lamb and chicken Karahi, some vegetable sides and the food came piping hot. The meat was tender and the karahis were saucy and full of flavour, the ambience of the restaurant is amazing no loud long ques, very family friendly and they also have parking outside, we came for brothers birthday and everybody loved the food. Staff are so friendly God bless they are happy to serve you with a smile and asiya checked on us made sure everything was up to standard. Thanks guys will come again

Written on 14.2.25: I wanted to purchase a huge quantity of shish kebabs. Last week, I was told I can purchase each shish kebab for £1.30 instead of £1.50. This week I called, they refused the offer which is fair enough, it’s a business. But then, lied to me, come in and we’ll discuss the price. Made me order the shish kebabs and charged full price when we went to pick them up. It’s not even about the money, it’s the fact that you lied to get a sale. Supposed to be Muslims lol. You’ve lost that big order I was going to do on Sunday, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Or next time I’ll go to the small heath one it’s better anyways. 15.02.25 Edit- In response to the owner below: inconsistency is evident, I would not like to converse any further regarding this matter. I bought more than 20 and did say I’m coming the next day to purchase more. Additionally, like I said it’s not about the price it’s about false information and lies. You didn’t tell me the price would change for 100. So either you or your works needs retraining.

Lovely, attentive and warm service. I went here for my birthday, it was my first time dining in, as I usually order takeaway. I ordered the maghaz, which is the best I have had, it is spicy and flavourful. I also loved the fresh chilli garlic naan and desi chai that comes unsweetened and you can add sugar to your liking. The prices are affordable, I love the pretty decor, I do think it is the best Asian restaurant in Hall Green having gone to others that are either expensive for what you're getting or poor in service. Would recommend and come here again to eat in.

Lovely fresh food, love their mix grill, staff is very nice too, especially Punjabi girl waitress Sandu Very helpful , she helped us with moving tables around to settle our big family.

Great food, average service and environment, prices have crept up slowly, but still the only local joint serving traditional Pakistani food which hasn't become a smash burger, dessert or chai place.

I order takeaway came home open the food so I could eat with the family very embarrassing food was burnt completely shame call the Stafford Road branch they say to me the whole green branch restaurant they are not together they sold the restaurant so it is not one. You rather make food at home then use this restaurant.

Karahi King has consistently been my top choice, and now it truly feels like my second home. I've never encountered any problems here. I've noticed significant improvements in customer service and the overall decor of the restaurant. One unique aspect is that the staff actually enjoys their own food together at a communal table, which reassures customers that they take pride in the quality of what they serve and prioritize healthy meals. Kadai King was always my first preference. I think Kadai King is the only restaurant in Hall Green where you can come and enjoy laziness with your friends and family again and again within your tight budget.

Food was very niece I ordered lamb chops and lamb karayi that was very amazing and in there have one girl I think she is Indian and her tattoo on arm Sandhu ..she is very niece she did good customer services and very polite smiley

I highly recommend the meat bhuna, which is absolutely finger-licking delicious, along with the chicken seekh kebabs. Don't let the unassuming appearance fool you—this place serves some of the best food around. In my experience, the fancier a restaurant looks, the more the food tends to fall short, often overshadowed by presentation. Just a small suggestion: it would be great if the menus were cleaned more frequently, as they were a bit dirty. That said, the staff here is always lovely and hardworking, making it a consistently enjoyable dining experience.

I am disgusted by the hygiene practice here.. there is none. The guy grabs the uncooked kebabs with his bare hands and prepared them on the seekh,,, and then he grabs full cooked chicken with his bare hands and puts it in the microwave for someone's else order,, the he uses the same hands to clean up the microwave area with dirty piece of cloth and then he comes back to prepare the rest of the kebabs with his same bare hands. Another guy, on the tandoor, with his long uncovered beard, making naan and roti,, even this guy is using his bare hands with his bare sweaty arms and shoving those naans and rotis in the tandoor with his sweat mixed in the bread. Someone needs to report this place to health and safety for them to give this place a surprise mystery customer visit and see for themselves how these people are preparing and serving the food, possibly with lots of bacteria. Never going back to this filthy place, with rude staff. Not even recommended to anyone, unless you don't mind dirty food. What is

Food was nice some chicken tikkas were raw. Service was absolutely atrocious. Made us move about 3 times after we had told them we already booked a day before. Waitresses talked smack about us in punjabi but luckily we understood. Only stayed cause we were with family and did not want to cause hastle. Will never visit again. Person who took my order today at the front desk was quite rude imo. He told me to go elsewhere for desserts as the restaurents quality is substandard. I think he should keep his opinion to himself and let the customer judge the quality. Never mind!

After a long day at the farm we came here for the first time, because of the kids wasn’t sure if the kids would like but they actually loved it! We ordered cheese 2 sheesh kebab,cheese burger meal, chicken tikka burger meal, butter chicken karahi with 3 naan and 5 cans of drink for £34.

Very worst behaved person on reception. We went to the shop to order some food to have a try but we don’t know they only take money and once we told we don’t have cash and we can only pay by phone and we start leaving the shop saying, sorry we don’t have cash and can inly pay by phone. His tone gets changed and start acting weird. Will avoid it in future.

Ordered lamb chops , biryani, lamb karahi, Lamb karahi was fine, lamb chops were not grilled properly , that portion was half cooked , one can’t bite that which they served us, and also there is no card payment service over there, one need to go cash machine for 5 minute walk . Iam a regular customer and Iam very disappointed as they have 2 types of kebabs when I order over the phone and collect when I get back home and see the are the very small size ones , today I went to collect my order and I saw with my own eyes that they had an order over the phone and the man asked the owner shall I make these ones and when I looked he pointed and the small ones so they are cheating some customers now by Charing the same price but giving small size kebabs very disappointed with the customer service once I complained over the phone to and the man said that’s What is it we can’t do anything I said that’s not right you charing same but given small ones in reality they are dodging people so plz be aware when ordering and collecting your kebabs

I came here for a family meal. & i was absolutely disgusted with the service. the workers are very unprofessional & don’t know how to run/ work in a restaurant. my bill was all over the place & the food wasn’t that great. we ordered 3 burger meals. & they all came together. however one of the plates of food had about 10 chips on the plate while the other portions of chips were decently sized. i asked for the rest of the chips from the plate of the burger meal & they charged me for it ! & i disagreed with this because he said “okay i’ll bring your fries” & didn’t say he was going to charge for them. & when i was saying i wasn’t going to pay for it he kept saying “are you arguing with me over £2” & he was raising his voice at me. i was honestly astonished with the lack of hospitality & the poor customer service. the workers were giving me different prices & when i asked for a breakdown of what he was charging he wasn’t very sure & didn’t give me it. the cleanliness off the place wasn’t great at all & the toilets stank like urine & looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for a while.

Was hungry and found this gem. Staff was nice and courteous. Karahi and Kebabs were made fresh. Nans and rotis were soft and crispy. Presentation wasn’t bad either. Price was absolutely affordable. Will definitely recommend this.

Today. I went there to buy some food. But, to my shock the owner or whoever was he was his behaviour with the woman at the cash counter was so rude and unethical that I had to cancel my order and leave the restaurant. This is not how you treat your employees.

I had got a takeaway from here once and it was okay. But I visited again with family for a dine in and it was one of the worst experiences. There’s a girl with glasses walking around looking lost with zero interest and zero customer service skills. I ordered masala fish naan, sheesh kebab naan , fries and Keema naan. The masala fish (cod) was tiny and lacked flavour. The sheesh kebabs were big but not very meaty. Seemed like they had a lot of chicken and perhaps flour/veg to bulk them up and the texture was strange. I ended up leaving most of it. The keema naan was basically not keema. It was the same mix that the sheesh kebabs were made from. I asked the confused girl for an extra plate and she gave one that was wet and had some dirt inside it. Overall very disappointed and won’t be going back!

Just come back from this place beautiful food amazing staff have to say the kebabs wer spot on and the karahi amazing 10 out of 10 must try and defo will be going back thank you guys

AVOID, AVOID,AVOID, absolutely terrible and over priced. Waiting staff were rude and not helpful we asked what drinks they had they just bluntly said “everything apart from coke and pepsi”. They should at least have it on the menu. Got the food and didn’t taste great for the amount of money. I spent £20 and feel like I got robbed. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

So me and my friends decided to go out to eat and we picked this place. Bro we went I the place was dirty other customers where load. And when we got our food it was cold and most things on the menu they didn't sell. I ordered chicken pakoras and they didn't have in stock they also was very rude and very blunt with me. Went at 1pm. No customers in there ! Never a good sign. No lamb Sheesh kebabs available ! That's what I went for. Only 1 guy working - looked bored !! I then quickly left & went to Karak Chai instead.

Absolutely horrendous food! Was rushing me when making my order, didn’t even ask my name! Food was cold, given chicken kebab instead of lamb sheesh. Wrong number of naan and chips that felt like they’d been made a day before and reheated. I would give no stars if I could.

Food has always been quite reasonable but service was not so good before when eating in. Now it seems 1 new waitress has lifted the standard 200%. Despite a busy period, she served us quickly providing correct amount of glasses and plates and fresh nan roti.

It was good food specially lamb karahi and kabab. Food is cheap as compare to other restaurants. I will recommend as a best branch in hall green.

Very good food. Cooked fresh and hot prepared while you wait. Really well priced compared to other overpriced shops that offer the same food at the same taste and quality. Any problems with the food, the staff replace with a new portion immediately. Desserts also available full of flavour. Definitely worth a try for anyone that wants good food for a very good price 👍

Quite suprised by the quality of the food. Ordered masala fish and lamb karahi and it was really good. Nicely cooked, good service. We were 3 adults and a child and price was reasonable. I recommend this. Not too flashy in decor and not too simple or bland either.

Genuinely the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had, strongly would not recommend. Wasn’t sure wether it was the wings or sheesh kebab. Ironically the service given was grand it was just the food that was woeful.

I do enjoy the 1kg lamb karahi which has an authentic Pakistan taste and is consistently excellent. 5 Stars every time. My only suggestion to the management is to pay a little bit more attention to the cleaning of the restaurant.

Lovely kebabs curry and mix grill, good service

So ordered food at this places earlier today and waited almost 25mins I asked for some mayonnaise as he was packing my order. The middle age Pakistani guy who’s in his 50 was very arrogant and told me he does not have any mayo although I just saw putting some on my burger. I was happy pay for mayo tub but this guy was so rude, I left the place without food. I have never in my life received such a poor service.

The food was amazing. Big portions as well. Hard to find a parking space though which is on street.

First and last time visiting,Horrible service.The dining area was awfull and the food was uncooked and the class,cups,forks and knives weren't washed.It was unhygienic.

Excellent and exceptional value. Sheesh kebabs are best in Birmingham. Great Balti dishes and superb service. The Hall Green branch is quieter than the Coventry Road one which is a great advantage.

Cheap and cheerful, the lamb curry was very tangy and the daal lacked the relevant spices and the buttery taste BUT both main courses were a generous portion. The mixed grill was delicious and ticked all the boxes. The fries were fresh, crispy and really did hit the spot. Overall, a pleasant experience!

Very average, typical Pakistani takeaway with some seating. Generally dirty throughout with Pakistani men that find it tough to break a smile. This place used to be great around 5-8 years ago. Most of their stuff is microwaved, not unusual for an establishment like this. Won't rush back but as long as your expectations are low, you'll be ok.

This place might be good for takeaway but it is worst for dining in. I went there with my kids, there was no one serving the dining area. We stood there for sometime but no one took notice of us 5 people standing in the middle of the dining area. Staff were passing by and looked busy. we then sat down on an emty table and spend few minutes there but still no sign of anyone serving although few tables were occupied. We had to leave the restaurant and go somewhere else.

Would not recommend. First and last time. Upon entering we were told to go ahead and find a seat, we then had to call someone over to get a menu and then again to take order. Only one other family dining at time so no excuse of being busy. Did not expect to wait so long for food to arrive, drinks ordered and instead a jug of water with dirty glasses was placed on table. Had to ask waiter after 30 mins of waiting how much longer food would take stated he would go to check and instead returned to serve the only other family who were in restaurant. Plenty of people coming in and out of kitchen area with drinks and food dining themselves then returning to back. During which we were sat waiting to be served. Toilet facilities were disgusting bad smell and dirty clearly not been cleaned in a while. Along with this and appalling service we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere upon leaving we were told our food was nearly ready and that the wait was due to order being cooked freshly hard to believe as the ones who were meant to be cooking food were clearly too busy eating themselves. Needless to say we left as the lack of service was a clear indication of what was to be expected of food. Save yourselves time and money and go elsewhere.

Ordered Cod in Nan and the small chunk of cod was horribly prepared , ordinary salad with external layers of onions , a very disappointing food experiance , they are just like any run of mill take aways in the town with respect to food taste , definately not recommanded

Best shoeshine kebabs in Birmingham.

Dined at this restaurant on 17/11/21. had starters and lamb karahi with roti. The lamb was fresh and very soft, was cooked really good. There is three karahi king restaurant's in Birmingham and I have been to all on many occasions, but this is the best one and has best service.
