Great food and tea/coffee. Cosy. Friendly staff. Spacious upstairs!

Visited today for lunch. Really enjoyed the food and friendly service. It was busy and there was a happy atmosphere. We had piri piri chicken sandwiches, which were delicious and attractively presented with a side salad. Would recommend and will return the next time we visit Kettering at lunch time!

Stopped for lunch. Good experience. We had soup and granary bread.

What a great place to go to, Tony (the owner) was off ill the time we were there but i must say the girls were absolutely fabulous. Coffee was fantastic and plentiful and always served with a smile. Always worth a visit ,highly recommend.

Lovely experience here. The boutique-y vibe was really relaxing and the coffee was exceptionally good. I’ve finally found somewhere to get a decent cup of coffee! All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be returning.

I had the honor of having my first English Breakfast at Kafe Bloc, and I must say everything was splendid. The service was quick, the food and atmosphere were top notch, and the servers themselves were lovely. I cannot recommend them enough.

10 years on and we are still enjoying the best full English brekkies.

Staff are always friendly and polite. Coffee is decent & So is food. Prices are fair and the menu is really good. Good place to sit and work for a few hours as they have plug sockets upstairs for laptop chargers.

A long wait of more than an hour. Breakfast plate was ok but sausage were a bit undercooked. Been manny times before and impressed, but not this time. Hope its a one off.

One of the best cafes in Kettering! Their coffees and breakfasts are to die for (if you’re looking for a perfect poached egg - this is the place!). The staff are super friendly and chatty which gives the place its warmth. Support local people! Thank you Kafe Bloc team!

Stopped by to have a Flat White, enjoyed the upstairs seating in the sun and the coffee to order another Flat White with a slice of brownie which was spot on.

Had a lovely lunch here in the week. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food is really delicious, and the decor is delightful.

Have been coming here ever since I moved to the county. I used to live round the corner and come a couple of times a week but now I manage around once a month. It's worth going out the way for. Same order every time, Sausage and Egg on white bread. Absolutely delicious. Tony is a bloody good chef, always nailing the perfect eggs, and they use high quality ingredients too. You don't have to sit in either! You can takeaway or get it delivered on well-known delivery apps too. Give it a go and don't look back!!!

I had a meal here with my parents. Good coffee, banging bacon and service was quick, polite and efficient. Will be back for anotjer door stop bacon sandwich asap.

Needed a cafe in Kettering whilst waiting for a train. Kafe Blok came up on the search and had good reviews - we weren’t disappointed. As soon as we entered the cafe we were welcomed by a friendly staff member who quickly directed us to our table. Service was swift and all the staff were really friendly. The tea was the proper job - made with tea leaves, and both our breakfasts were tasty and good size portions. We also visited the deli next door and bought delicious cakes for the family for later. Thanks Kafe Blok for making our Saturday morning a breeze! ☺️👍

Sign said 30min wait. Waited nearer 45. Not great if on lunch break. The staff where lovely food was great.

Popped in for breakfast! Sat downstairs. Excellent service from happy people. Great interior! Just a super place to be. Opted for two breakfasts that came with toast. They soon came and they were presented and cooked beautifully! Tasted awesome! Loved it!Hope this super place is here for long time as the owner has done fantastic in creating and sustaining it!

I ordered off of deliveroo. Never got my drink. But you can't blame them, it's the staff that should be making sure the whole order is handed over. How hard is it?

No drink yet again. Seriously don't bother ordering drinks here, they never make or deliver them. Waste of money.

Kafe Bloc is one of my favourite cafes and I always try to go when I'm visiting Kettering. This week I had the eggy bread, which was just as delicious as I remember. The bread is soft, thick and absolutely soaked in egg. Other times I've enjoyed the eggs Florentine and full English. The coffee is good and I love the carrot cake. Tony and his staff are so friendly. If you visit, you should check out Deli Bloc next door.

Just had another gorgeous tasty breakfast of eggs Florentine delivered. Again it is 5⭐. Hot choc was nice to, for a large it seemed abit regular🤔. Delivery was quick too. Definitely recommend eating here.

Always excellent quality food at Bloc, cooked by the man himself Tony. Simple dishes cooked well, piping hot and in a nice atmosphere, they know their coffee too which is a bonus.

Was a bit disappointed that my light breakfast consisting of 1 sausage, 1 bacon, mushrooms, beans, egg and black pudding an 1 round of toast took over 20 minutes. I wasn’t able to sit and enjoy it as I had a train to catch. The food was lovely, staff were lovely, it wasn’t overly busy so I can’t understand why it took so long 🤷‍♀️

Great food, lovely staff fabulous atmosphere

We came here for breakfast with some family and got a table upstairs. Our main server was, quite frankly, brilliant and must have legs of steel to be up and down those stairs so often with food and drinks. The food was amazing, the full English was delicious and the rest of the group enjoyed their fantastic dishes. Well worth visiting and we shall return!

Visited Kafe Bloc last week with a friend for brunch, decided to pop next door in Deli Bloc. The choice of fresh cakes, savory items such as homemade pork pies and sausage rolls, meat, jams, coffee and the list is endless. Such a gem to find in Kettering, bought some cannolis and other small sweet treats and will definitely be revisiting. Ideal for a treat, something new and different. Great service, cannot fault it at all.

The egg benedict was cold with a store bought, tasteless sauce... would not try it agin. Place was also dirty. It is a shame....

Lovely food, staff and atmosphere. Nothing is to much trouble and they always go above and beyond, particularly Charlene who creates a great atmosphere. The food is amazing and the cakes to die for. Definitely worth a visit, love it.

Went here for something to eat for lunch and had chorizo on sourdough with an egg and chilli very tasty, great service, and lovely coffee. I will be back again.

I was in Kettering visiting my daughter, always try the independent shops as I think they are the pillar of a community, was sorry I did! Went in with my grandchild in a pram and immediately felt like we were in the way, we were asked to leave the pram in the front, no problem, went to the counter to order, told to sit, someone would take our order, no one came, bearing in mind only one other table in, asked to move the pram again at which point I felt unwelcome and decided to leave. Went to another coffee shop up the road and the difference was amazing, was glad the lady was so rude as we ended up having a lovely meal in a friendly environment

Fantastic! Had the haggis sausage rolls and they were so good! The man who I believe owns it is very knowledgeable. The cannoli was very fresh too :) thanks for making our trip worthwhile.

Wanted something special for my fathers' birthday. Called Kafe Bloc with a last minute order. Tony was so helpful and gave me many options for a cake. Went with a Banana/Walnut cake, needless to say it was absolutely delicious, loved by all, adults and kids alike. Thank you Kafe Bloc for making my dads' birthday scrumptious.

What a fantastic visit we had here today. Not been out for a while and decided we wanted to play it safe. The cleanliness standards were perfect. Test a s trace done on arrival. The service and food was exactly as we wanted. Fast, pleasent and hot tasty food.

Visiting the centre today and fancied a snack and drink. I walked to this smashing Kafe, passing many cafes on the way. The Kafe Blok has its own special atmosphere. Excellent staff, very friendly and genuine. The food is also fresh and always tasty. I opted for coffee and sausage on granary. As always it was lovely. Sorry to see Emma leave to move to pastures new as she radiates a great atmosphere with her fun and friendly ways. Please try out this great establishment!

I was actually at the Deli Bloc next Door owned by Kate Bloc ... Great local produce a, fantastic friendly service , and fresh sour dough bread that is amazing ... Great selection of Cheeses too

We recently visited. 14th October Our first visit and we will definitely be returning. My husband and I both had breakfasts. Excellent quality ingredients, served hot and presented lovely. Coffees were equally as good. Scored top marks! To add to the experience both ladies were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, whether in town or like us... we googled and this place had great reviews and they didn’t let us down. Thank you again.

We decided to take a small diversion o the way home after hearing good things about this place. We stopped in and were served the most amazing breakfast and the service was better than expected.

Popped in for a bacon sandwich takeaway. What is there not to like about this awesome place. Great friendly service, great coffee and food served. Tables set out with their own wooden partitions. There's now a Kafe Deli shop two doors along that sell the best fruit, vegatables and deli! Awesome!

Tried a couple of types of sandwiches here and both were one of the best I have eaten anywhere, good coffee too!

Because of the Covid 19 restrictions in place, Kafe bloc are taking orders on fruit, vegetables, eggs, milk etc. Messaged them with my order and was given a slot to pick it up the next day. Got there and the order was picked and bagged while I waited. Great, friendly service and fresh produce. Loved it!

even though most places are shut this place is powering on as a deli. the bacon is amazing and so are the homemade cakes.

Ripping customers off with over inflated prices for essential stuff 6 pack of bacon 99p in Sainsbury’s not £3 White sliced loaf 55p Etc etc Nothing but scammers

I attended an event at this amazing place recently where tapas were served to 34 people all night long in style. Tony and his tram were amazing! How they serve the great food they do out of a tiny kitchen is beyond me. There’s an imaginative menu with lots of options (besides tapas!!) and great coffee and tea too and don’t forget the cakes!!. I kind of wish it was bigger but it’s so charming the way it is! Keep up the sterling work folks!!

We have lunched at this cafe 4 times over the last couple of months and we keep coming back for more. The staff are so lovely and are open to making small changes on the menu. I cannot have cows cheese but I can have goats. They agreed to make me a goats cheese and ham toastie, it was sublime. The bread they use is delicious and the portion sizes are something else. It is always busy when we visit and this is no surprise when you see some of the dishes they prepare. It's a huge yes from us. A great find when we visit Kettering.

First time in Kettering and just popped as fancied something brunchie. The best Egg’s Royale I’ve ever had! My partner had a tuna and cheese sandwich which came on lovely fresh thick bread and the nicest cheese I’ve ever tasted, which they also sell there. High quality ingredients, lovely staff, an all round must try!

Popped as hadn't been there for a while. Still the same great atmos and really friendly, attentive service. Bacon sandwich on granary was yummy and coffee was super. Love it!

Fabulous food, friendly staff, incredible value. From breakfast to Afternoon Tea they get it just right, add to that ( from upstairs) great views of the two iconic buildings of Kettering. Highly recommended.

Went there for the 1st time today with the hubster. We had the cheese and red onion toastie. These were very tasty and the coffee was excellent, so much so the hubster had 2 and I had a coconut icecream milkshake. It was yummy. So if ya like good customer service, good food and a coffee that tastes like coffee, then dont miss this place out. Highly recommended by us.
