K & K Fish Bar in Fife

Had a fish supper it was stinking. Full of bone and a yukky after taste.£8.90. Won't be back even if it's free. Went totally down hill after David had it. Should be ashamed.

Disappointed. Just paid £11 for a fish supper (delivered). Sorry, but it was awful.

Had a delivery 2 weeks ago white pudding supper chips very rotten and white pudding was over cooked hard to cut

This place used to be really good, queued out the door, got a fish supper 2 weeks ago and it was really fishy, shouldn't smell like that...gave it as a one off got another fish supper last night and a potion of chips...battery very thick and fish extremelly dry...loads if food sitting in hot plate was only customer in shop...not good at all...won't return !

Fish was on the turn last night. That's twice in the last month. You shouldn't be able to smell fresh fish. My car was reeking of it this morning. Fish on the turn won't make you ill but it's not a nice meal. Used to be my go to chippy but find somewhere else until they sort their act out.

Disappointing. As it had been a long day, I decided to splash out and treat my mum and I to a fish supper between us (£7+). We used to go here loads before Covid, and had both moved areas, so were looking forward to it. The chips were mostly crispy bits and those that weren't, tasted like reheats. The batter on the fish was so thick & soggy, it was almost raw inside. The fish had a LOT of bones in it, but was otherwise nice and white. The counter staff were lovely. We won't be in a hurry to go back.

The fish did not taste fresh. The cazone pizza was not good, all pizza and little meat.

Guys what has happened here? I used to love this place as a treat when visiting family. The batter used to be crispy and dry. Now it’s a soggy thick mess u can peel off. Whatever you’ve changed stop it! Go back to the great batter and quality you used to do! You’ve lost a customer sorry.

Used to be really good, went is for a fish supper and the fish was a gloppy mess, was cooked for long enough as the batter was still soggy and sliding of it. And the fish its self has far to many bones in it.

Previously had a decent review from me which I have had to change. Grabbed a quick meal for the family, half way through my son showed me a wasp, cooked inside his calzone. Not something that's easy to miss.....unless you don't bother to look. Basic hygiene obviously sacrificed. I won't be going back !

Chippy box is amazing value and cooked to order, could easily feed 3 people.

Good food, great service. Was recommended by a friend and I enjoyed my fish and chips.

Stopped in here on the way home and definitely won't be returning. Food was greasy and overpriced. This place used to be really good, what the hell has happened. I did wonder why I was the only person in the shop - never again

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! Stone cold food, manager wont even talk on the phone,has the woman at the counter talk for him. Offered new food but i have to pay the delievery... Total joke, not first time ive had an issue here. Wont be back!!

1st time we gone in years, we phoned an order but food was very cold. Lots of food out. Won't be going back..... The shop was in darkness, only lights above the tills. £12+ for single fish, single nuggets and potatoes fritters.

Good chippy , food always fresh and tasty and the chippy box is excellent value for money and can feed a family of 4 , u get a fish , burger , jumbo sausage and choice of pudding and either mushy peas or curry sauce , delivery is always quick and food is hot on arrival

Not great to be honest. Not the worded F&C shop I've been to, but below average.

Got 2 fish lsuppers and it was bad fish was very dry and was like rubber went straight in to the bin

Normally absolutely love this restaurant as per my receipt so far I've made 56 orders with them online alone. I called the restaurant after I ordered on just eat to ask if they could add a bottle of vinegar as there was no option on just eat and that I would pay the driver (it was only 45p) the delivery comes at 10pm the driver says there's 45p to pay and I gave him £2 mainly as a thank you as the chip shop is normally the best in my opinion for delivery and food. I check my order when I get it from the door and there is no vinegar I immediately call the restaurant which is still open with no answer 18 times! I get mistakes happen but its something I specifically requested and they specifically charged me for but did not include in my order. (Also massively regret giving the driver £2 for a 45p bottle of vinegar that I never got. I assumed the driver just had it in his car and was hoping the shop would answer to call him and see but they did not. It may seem pretty but to me chips without vinegar is like spaghetti without the sauce lol. I've had so many friends tell me how rubbish K&K are and I've always said the complete opposite but to ignore my phone call knowing it is something to do with my order just because of the time is a terrible service. My 56th order has been my last.

At Leslie chippy I can get a "pensioner's fish supper", which is 1 fillet of fish instead of 2 fillets. The present price is £4.70. My nearest chippy, at Kinglassie, doesn't provide this service. I would have to pay £5.80 for 2 fillets but with fewer chips.

Stopped here on way home from Anstruther.. best fish and chips we've tasted in a long time

Never let me down yet. Food is good, and it won't cost you a arm and leg.

Better to pick up than order as we have had cold chips on a couple of occasions.

Great chip shop where you can also get kebabs. Portions are large. Hidden gem. Psst, Don't tell everyone.

Absolutely shocking, it took 1hr to be delivered on a tuesday night, food cold , greezy and disgusting and when called the shop to complain, all we got was I dont understand, would not advise anyone to get food from here.

I am a fish and chip enthusiast and this is one of my favourite chippies. The chip shop side of the business is top end traditional, the pizza and calzone side is thriving. It can be busy, but the freshness and high quality of the food makes a wait worthwhile. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Hard to beat.

Had boneless supper tasteless mushy chips cost us over 30 pounds as a family no one enjoyed there food.

Disgusting had a couple of fish suppers thought maybe just having bad day first time fish been reheated several times by state of it and taste of it chips disgusting asked for plenty brown sauce for a little but in fish nowhere else do not eat here

best fish supper, huge portions and completely covered with salt and vinegar

We tried phoning and phoning to order food but no answer went online said it shut at 11pm and also said on the menu it shut at 11pm we kept phoning (this was at half 10) and still no answer decided to go to the shop and was shut but online was telling us it was open! Maybe use should shut at the right time or update your opening and closing times!

Stopped in for a fish supper tonight and couldn't believe the portion size! The batter was great, fish was fresh and tasted excellent .

Meal took an hour to be delivered, driver admitted she couldn't find my house, I ordered a cheeseburger meal deal for my son, had around 20 chips and no can of juice! I got Doner meat chips and garlic sauce, the Doner meat was 2 different colours ( old dried out) of which was cut so thick I could've soled my boots with! I didn't eat it as can't afford a dodgy stomach! Not the KKS I used to know! Disappointed.

Will not be back we ordered 2 small donner kebabs and they were saturated in garlic mayo and it was like leather phoned to complain and got no where so if you order kebabs you take your chances

Went a bit down hill since its changed hands and very greasey now not as good as it used to be

Decent selection of food to choose from. Serve a brilliant sausage supper and nice scampi (Having been eating scampi for around 10 years now, i would rank the scampi here 7/10). Worth popping in for some food if you're near.

Delivery service is always a nightmare waiting well over an hour and a half for delivery more than once. Phoned up to ask where food was was told on its way finally arrived and it's freezing asked delivery driver if he got lost and he was cheeky waste of time for a freezing chippy

What a meat feast calzone! Took over a hour to come but taking just as long to eat it!!! It came pipe'in hot, cut perfect. well done guys a want that batter recipe stays crisp for ages best chippy we have had in ages

We usually orde and pick up the food ourselves. Never had any issues, it takes a while because they are so busy. We have always had good service and the staff are friendly.

Absolutely atrocious! Phoned at 6:25 and ordered then waited an hour and phoned again to be told it is just waiting to be taken by driver. To then wait another half an hour ( baring in mind live in the same town 5mins if that) so phoned again to then be told they are still cooking the pizza that wasnt put in the oven! Its now 8 and still no food. Will never order from there again. Would put no stars but won't let me post without one

Been waiting over 1 and a half hours for our order and we stay less rhan 15mins away. This is after 6.5mins to actually take the order and whats the betting its flipping COLD too. Bloody awful service all round...no excuses acceptable.

I ordered a hamburger supper and a mixed hoggie for the hubby cost me £13 to have it delivered to Kinglassie. Now i under stand that its a thursday and they might be busy it took 1 hour to get here. You could imagine my face when i open it to see about 20/30 chips and 1 hamburger well i was shocked and rung them to check that my order was right and even more shocked that this was correct......and that there hamburgers were only 1 to a super. Wow!! How they're still trading is beyond me!!!! To the staff member i spoke to (not sure if your the owner) but please go to other chip shops check how many they give and their prices. You might just save the shop. I surely wont return and good luck if you are ordering. P.s hubby enjoyed his hoggie
