K & K Fish Bar in Fife

Delivered on time which was very good. Extremely small containers of curry sauce and mushy peas which were £1 each. Tasted ok. Chips soft with black bits. Below average. However the fish was by far the worse i can remember having. Hardly any fish inside thick, soft, soggy batter. Majority thrown away. Very disappointing.

The food took about 55 minutes to come from leslie. When my food arrived it was stone cold i dont like to complain about food but that was ridiculous couldn't eat it

My daughter was performing in Lesley with the youth group and placed an order with the takeaway, she called after a short while to check how she was getting her order as she had left her phone on the bus, the person on the phone was obnoxious to her when my daughter tried to give her friend's number and they cancelled the order saying my daughter was "at it" and that she was refusing to provide contact information and made up a pack of lies which was the opposite to what she was trying to do. I turned up for the show to find out she hadn't had any dinner which in turn meant she couldn't take her medication and was distraught about the situation. Disgusting service to treat a child like that because you deem their anxiety on the phone as them playing a trick on you. Shame on you.

white pudding was solid, and the chips went in the bin, calzone was great tho

Chips not as good as they usually are . Quite a few bad bits in potatoes and a little too greasy. Normally very good .

Been coming here for months on a Friday but was a bit disappointed tonight as it was a bit like disorganised chaos

Sadly it took 90 min and it was a cold . When I got direct the shop it’s always good quality . But cold food and undercooked chips sadly .

First time ordered from KK, Icelandic haddock quite meaty but unfortunately was overcooked, fish dry and batter burnt. Chips were OK or would have been one star. Disappointed!

Missing can of cola with meal deal

Fish was overcooked on underside and badly stuck to paper and appeared flattened under pressure. The kebab had cooked salad , the paper was very wet. Huhhhhhg

Unfortunately on this occasion we were extremely disappointed. We have ordered from this shop regularly, but this time there was very little fish, all batter, over cooked (very hard to bite) & portions have definately dropped

Food was very greasy, chips were pale and needed more time in fryer.

Order a fish supper it was rubber and cold waited hour for it 11.50 never go back phone up about manger said to me if I want a fresh one I was to go to the shop I don’t think so 2/1/2025

NOT happy, not only was my delivery wrong and had to phone, but when we did recieve our order it was barely luke warm, its a shame because k&k are good but the service recieved tonight and a couple tes before hand have been shocking, they need to get their act together because they just keep getting the deliveries wrong or waiting forever on orders is not acceptable

Pizzas are delicious from k and k would highly recommend them to anyone

Stop here on a visit to Leslie. Hadn't been before and didn't know what to expect. Good food at good prices is what we got. The cheapest fish supper I have seen in a while but beautiful.

😁 Fish full of bones, owner said it would be full of bones because you never bought the more expensive icelandic option. Yes but this is BAD fish, staff say it comes to them already filleted and they've no control but it's a bad fish supper, horrible rotten soft, bad taste batter, bad fish and more expensive than Anstruther, who're very close pals of Leslie village. Owner is rude and staff seem scared of him, used to be really great fish in there but the owner drops the quality without notice and it's not recommended. Won't EVER be back! Total price rip off, he's buying some kind of low quality fish supposed to be haddock, no it's not haddock.

King rib supper was dreadful. Seems like it had been reheated from the day before. Way overcooked,dry and inedible.

The fish had soggy batter it was disgusting had a horrible after taste. Fish was that bad my cat wouldn't even eat it. The fritters were the same. Definitely won't be back again

Arrived 20 minutes late. Food was ok, but slightly cold and a chips a bit soggy.

Arrived hot and fresh really enjoyed it. Delivery driver was early which was a bonus. I’ll be ordering again for sure.

Asked for salt and vinegar on the chips and they clearly don't read the comment box. Also delivery driver had a r*ngers strip on which would put ye off your food! Still gave him a tip as he looked like he needed cheering up :))

Meal was really good,but what I didn’t like was the driver of the delivery car was going too fast in a 20 zone,and had to slam the brakes on hard to stop just before my house,if it had been daytime,there was a good chance that a child would have been hit and either ended up in hospital,or killed,I never want that person delivering my meal again,if they drive that eratic,my advice would be,never use that person again.

originally when ordered it stated delivery would be 20.35 which would have been 1 hour from ordering. The the app changed to state from 20.30-20.50. Eventually arrived at 21.10 and had to be re-heated

The calzone was luke warm. Why not line the inside of the box with tin foil and grease proof paper? Low amount of chicken in the calzone. I'm a first time customer, and last time now.

This place used to be really good, queued out the door, got a fish supper 2 weeks ago and it was really fishy, shouldn't smell like that...gave it as a one off got another fish supper last night and a potion of chips...battery very thick and fish extremelly dry...loads if food sitting in hot plate was only customer in shop...not good at all...won't return !

Fish was on the turn last night. That's twice in the last month. You shouldn't be able to smell fresh fish. My car was reeking of it this morning. Fish on the turn won't make you ill but it's not a nice meal. Used to be my go to chippy but find somewhere else until they sort their act out.

Chips and battered pizza were stale, they also put a cold drink in with hot food. Not good

didn't get 2 tins of juice with our burger meals, asked for relish on them an looked like the leftovers on a knife. also asked for plain battered pizza for son an they covered it in brown sauce. not impressed!

Not ordered for awhile , but I ordered a meat feast calzone… same as my last order from K n K and it has not changed , Absolutely Delicious! Best I’ve ever tasted !

Disappointing. As it had been a long day, I decided to splash out and treat my mum and I to a fish supper between us (£7+). We used to go here loads before Covid, and had both moved areas, so were looking forward to it. The chips were mostly crispy bits and those that weren't, tasted like reheats. The batter on the fish was so thick & soggy, it was almost raw inside. The fish had a LOT of bones in it, but was otherwise nice and white. The counter staff were lovely. We won't be in a hurry to go back.

I’m not sure what’s happening with the K&K but it’s not as good as it was previously. Tonight I thought the pizza crunch supper was dry despite it having vinegar and sauce on it. The chips were stuck to the paper and weren’t very good. The pizza we also ordered had a crushed box so the topping was stuck to the lid of the box. Disappointed with this. I will think twice before ordering again.

Food was tasty but was not as hot as usual but I guess as it was late that had a bearing on it.

Guys what has happened here? I used to love this place as a treat when visiting family. The batter used to be crispy and dry. Now it’s a soggy thick mess u can peel off. Whatever you’ve changed stop it! Go back to the great batter and quality you used to do! You’ve lost a customer sorry.

Food wasn't hot when it was delivered & the batter was very tough didn't taste freshly cooked it might have been reheats i couldn't eat it all it was a waste of money to be honest I have never had a problem before from this establishment but there's a first time for everything

2nd time I’ve got food from here and both times it’s been only just warm despite it being delivered within the delivery time also, most of the “salad” I received was uncut, there was sheets of onion in the calzone and I was given half a tomato
