K & K Fish Bar in Fife

Stop here on a visit to Leslie. Hadn't been before and didn't know what to expect. Good food at good prices is what we got. The cheapest fish supper I have seen in a while but beautiful.

Order was left on back door step and driver didn’t bother to knock. Food was cold and horrible

first time using them and the portion sizes for the money you certainly do get more than your moneys worth. defo be coming back to order more from them.

Chips were greasy and a bit soggy, not as good as normal

😁 Fish full of bones, owner said it would be full of bones because you never bought the more expensive icelandic option. Yes but this is BAD fish, staff say it comes to them already filleted and they've no control but it's a bad fish supper, horrible rotten soft, bad taste batter, bad fish and more expensive than Anstruther, who're very close pals of Leslie village. Owner is rude and staff seem scared of him, used to be really great fish in there but the owner drops the quality without notice and it's not recommended. Won't EVER be back! Total price rip off, he's buying some kind of low quality fish supposed to be haddock, no it's not haddock.

King rib supper was dreadful. Seems like it had been reheated from the day before. Way overcooked,dry and inedible.

The fish had soggy batter it was disgusting had a horrible after taste. Fish was that bad my cat wouldn't even eat it. The fritters were the same. Definitely won't be back again

Arrived 20 minutes late. Food was ok, but slightly cold and a chips a bit soggy.

Arrived hot and fresh really enjoyed it. Delivery driver was early which was a bonus. I’ll be ordering again for sure.

Asked for salt and vinegar on the chips and they clearly don't read the comment box. Also delivery driver had a r*ngers strip on which would put ye off your food! Still gave him a tip as he looked like he needed cheering up :))

Meal was really good,but what I didn’t like was the driver of the delivery car was going too fast in a 20 zone,and had to slam the brakes on hard to stop just before my house,if it had been daytime,there was a good chance that a child would have been hit and either ended up in hospital,or killed,I never want that person delivering my meal again,if they drive that eratic,my advice would be,never use that person again.

Food and service have always been 1st class, and have been for the years we've been using them

originally when ordered it stated delivery would be 20.35 which would have been 1 hour from ordering. The the app changed to state from 20.30-20.50. Eventually arrived at 21.10 and had to be re-heated

Had a fish supper it was stinking. Full of bone and a yukky after taste.£8.90. Won't be back even if it's free. Went totally down hill after David had it. Should be ashamed.

The calzone was luke warm. Why not line the inside of the box with tin foil and grease proof paper? Low amount of chicken in the calzone. I'm a first time customer, and last time now.

This place used to be really good, queued out the door, got a fish supper 2 weeks ago and it was really fishy, shouldn't smell like that...gave it as a one off got another fish supper last night and a potion of chips...battery very thick and fish extremelly dry...loads if food sitting in hot plate was only customer in shop...not good at all...won't return !

Fish was on the turn last night. That's twice in the last month. You shouldn't be able to smell fresh fish. My car was reeking of it this morning. Fish on the turn won't make you ill but it's not a nice meal. Used to be my go to chippy but find somewhere else until they sort their act out.

Chips and battered pizza were stale, they also put a cold drink in with hot food. Not good

didn't get 2 tins of juice with our burger meals, asked for relish on them an looked like the leftovers on a knife. also asked for plain battered pizza for son an they covered it in brown sauce. not impressed!

Not ordered for awhile , but I ordered a meat feast calzone… same as my last order from K n K and it has not changed , Absolutely Delicious! Best I’ve ever tasted !

Fish supper and smoke sausage were OK. Drink that was ordered was put in with hot food which made the drink hot and food cold!

Disappointing. As it had been a long day, I decided to splash out and treat my mum and I to a fish supper between us (£7+). We used to go here loads before Covid, and had both moved areas, so were looking forward to it. The chips were mostly crispy bits and those that weren't, tasted like reheats. The batter on the fish was so thick & soggy, it was almost raw inside. The fish had a LOT of bones in it, but was otherwise nice and white. The counter staff were lovely. We won't be in a hurry to go back.

I’m not sure what’s happening with the K&K but it’s not as good as it was previously. Tonight I thought the pizza crunch supper was dry despite it having vinegar and sauce on it. The chips were stuck to the paper and weren’t very good. The pizza we also ordered had a crushed box so the topping was stuck to the lid of the box. Disappointed with this. I will think twice before ordering again.

Food was tasty but was not as hot as usual but I guess as it was late that had a bearing on it.

The fish did not taste fresh. The cazone pizza was not good, all pizza and little meat.

Guys what has happened here? I used to love this place as a treat when visiting family. The batter used to be crispy and dry. Now it’s a soggy thick mess u can peel off. Whatever you’ve changed stop it! Go back to the great batter and quality you used to do! You’ve lost a customer sorry.

Food wasn't hot when it was delivered & the batter was very tough didn't taste freshly cooked it might have been reheats i couldn't eat it all it was a waste of money to be honest I have never had a problem before from this establishment but there's a first time for everything

2nd time I’ve got food from here and both times it’s been only just warm despite it being delivered within the delivery time also, most of the “salad” I received was uncut, there was sheets of onion in the calzone and I was given half a tomato

Used to be really good, went is for a fish supper and the fish was a gloppy mess, was cooked for long enough as the batter was still soggy and sliding of it. And the fish its self has far to many bones in it.

The food I received was awful, the chicken was under cooked and pink, I cook chicken all the time and I wouldn't serve that to anyone. Waiting on driver picking it up to take back so two calls later I am sitting here starving waiting on a call from shop on Thier verdict

Pizza just weren’t great called and two new pizza got delivered and they were just the same pizza base just not nice at all. But the young lady on the phone was amazing and so friendly and really apologetic I pull eat here again just not the pizza

Delivered quickly so surprising that everything was cold. Ordered Haggis pudding and had a red pudding delivered. Abysmal.

We ordered two fish suppers. My husband likes this when we’ve ordered from here in the past so I thought I’d try it. Arrived on time but the fish suppers were soaked in grease leaving a horrible claggy feeling in my mouth. Quite unpleasant, I’ll certainly not have a fish supper from here again. Chicken kebabs have always been decent in the past.

Previously had a decent review from me which I have had to change. Grabbed a quick meal for the family, half way through my son showed me a wasp, cooked inside his calzone. Not something that's easy to miss.....unless you don't bother to look. Basic hygiene obviously sacrificed. I won't be going back !

Over an hour for delivery when I live only 5 minutes away. The food quality was awful. The king rib tasted disgusting, like it had gone bad, and it was burnt.... And the food was only warm when it was eventually delivered.

Delicious fresh and hot, quite rare with takeaways now!

Fish was badly overcooked and dry. One piece was burnt black on the underside as if it had been resting too long on a hot plate. Chips were ok but Icelandic haddock deserved better treatment. The birds will have it tomorrow.

Chips were nice but all 3 of the smoked sausages batter was so tough to bite I had to cut it with a sharp knife then the sausage tasted like it had been sitting for a long time, couldn’t even eat my pickled onion as it felt like it had been heated up in a microwave it was that hot to touch.
