THE GREASE WAS RUNNING OUT OF THE FOOD. MOST OF IT WENT IN THE BIN! HAVE USED K&K OVER THE YEARS AND ITS HIT AND MISS

Exactly as ordered, friendly staff, reasonable quality food but a bit cold by the time I took it home 2 miles away. Just different to my old local chippy which closed.

Don’t buy fish cakes not fresh frozen mush

Best chips I have had in a very long time. The shop was very clean and fresh.

I order this pizza on a regular basis, this time it’s like it wasn’t cooked properly, very doughy and the base was sticking to the box, I’ve never had that before. The pizza was only just warm too the worst pizza I’ve had from Chanda yet

atrocious the food was wrong I ordered single king rib and a separate chips and cheese with a buttered roll I got a badly cooked king rib greasy, chips with no cheese at all despite the extreme cost of separate chips and cheese and a roll with the thinnest scraping of cheap margarine on one side not even covering half the one side of the roll and this cost 13 pounds actually a joke never use the K and K it is robbery and can't even get an order correct on a week . pathetically inferior

The whole takeaway was cold and disgusting with I couldn’t eat anything of it

Chips were actually black/rotten and looked mouldy to the extent they made my daughter vomit!!!

I ordered a pizza supper, the pizza itself was brick hard around the edge, either it was overcooked or it had been sitting under the hot lights for ages. Even most of the chips were all black marks on them

Everything would’ve been 5 stars if I had received the Irn bru I ordered with my food, won’t be ordering again

Absolutely disgusting. Chips were a Luke warm grease sodden mess. Sausage was very poor quality, undercooked and tasted vile. Whole lot went in the bin. never again!!.

Best chippy in the area. Always amazing food and great service!! I highly recommend it to anyone living in the area or passing by to try and enjoy

I like fish and this was a nice piece of Icelandic fish with a decent amount of chips.

Been ordering for K&K for years and it’s the only chip shop that personally I feel is the best. Everytime I order from here, the order is always roasting hot, well cooked and delivered either early or on time. Curry sauce is one of the best parts of the whole meal.

disgusting. soggy batter, soggy chips (cooked in old oil) I genuinely couldn't even eat it.

I ordered a delivery on Fife eats. From K and K Methil on Saturday 20th January 2024 at 17.09 order was accepted at 17.11, was told would be delivered on or before 18.05 at 18.10 was told my delivery was out and would be with me soon. Then at 18.35 I phoned back to be told it was still out and would be with me soon. I told her was not happy as if it was out all that time then it would be frozen. At 18.40 still on the phone the delivery arrived, as suspected frozen, was told they would send a new order, to which I said when I’ve waited an hour and a half for that one don’t want to wait another. I suggested they send a new one with the driver and I would give them the old one then. Then some ignorant woman came on the phone shouting about her girls and not going to argue with me. I am sorry but I was nothing but nice, and received nothing but abuse back. Disgusting way to run a business I realise they are busy but giving customers grief for a legitimate complaint is not on. It is now 19.00 and I still haven’t received my new order.

The food came on time it was hot and fresh made and tasty ...the delivery person was friendly when he came to the door ...will definitely order from here again xx

Chips under cooked, soft, and greasy

They forgot the kids meal extras of juice and sweet. All the chips were disgusting and very greasy. Hardly any sauce. A single smoked sausage was a half of a well known brand in a packet, which is tiny. Everything tasted horrible and I ended up having to make my kids something else. Wast of money and won’t order again.

Got my meal fast delivery. BUT I got a meal and the chips and portion of curry sauce was for my very girlfriend, poured the sauce over the chip for her to notice 5 mins later there meat in the curry sauce ........5 year no meat FYI

If I cud have given zero stars I wid have....so disappointed with wat has happened....order wrong and charged extra....tryed calling to be told I'm a liar and that no food will be changed or replaced....Mrs mcghee , owner apparently....won't be bak and wud urge all to order with caution....FURIOUS

Took that long to come I forgot I ordered something when opened everything was stuck to the wrapper and had went soggy showing it had been made and lying for sometime the smoked sausage was like eating a Welly boot. Use to be the best about won't be back

This chip shop never gets bad. Been going here for food for many years. Always visit this place when we come up from England. Tasty food and all of us(5) love this place. Top marks.

Delivery time was exceptional but - this place has changed recipie for their batter, now a thicker batter & the chips weren't fresh, tasted like they had been sat a while in a hot box.

First time having to complain about here but person answering the phone made it my last..the fish was awful,,was nearly all batter,and that was brick hard,,when I called I was greeted with an unhappy person and told ,"fish was all small and thats how it came in,"i said for the price perhaps they should put an extra bit in,only to be told that I was the only person that had complained,and it wasn't there fault..wasn't even offered as much as a discount on a bag of chips,,thats not the reason I called anyway,,I just wanted to let them no how bad it was,,,when I worked in a chippy we would have at least been apologetic and at least offered to send something else,and certainly not said the things she was saying on the phone,,poor show on food and person on the phone..the rest of the order was ok or I would have given one star..

Normally never have any complaints here but tonight the fish((or lack of it))was awful..called up to let them know and I was told the fish was coming in really small,,it was nearly all batter,,I was told I was the only person who complained about it,,I said that if its coming in so small they should put an extra piece in..wasn't even offered anything else it even a discount next time..if I'm paying £20 for a meal,I at least want to be able to eat it...poor show on meal and whoever answered the phone.👎

Batter was stuck to paper was warm when I got it kids meal didn't come with the juice and sweet and gave driver tip and he didn't have change just 10p and 20p and a couple pound coins

I ordered 2 single jumbo sausages but only got 1 when I tried to phone I couldn't get thru, the burger was not up to the usual standard normal I wouldn't go anywhere else but the food standard seems to have went down a tad.

Friendly staff, clean shop, good portion size, fish cooked to order and worth the wait. But like ANY other chip shop don't take your food away in the supplied plastic carry bag, plastic makes the food sweat and in my experience makes it soggie.

Great value for money, biggest Suppers anywhere in Scotland and always lightly cooked which I like coz I can taste the Potatoes,Fish,Haggis,Red Pudding ,what I've ordered and not crunchy fat. This Chippy puts the rest to shame, places like Imries,Rinaldis and anywhere else that's turning out overcrispy bits of dried batter should shut down coz they're just ripping people off. Those places must be artificially boosting their reviews to catch the gullible ,don't fall for it, if you're in Levenmouth come to K+K. It is awkward how they are cash only, but you know now. I'd sooner have the inconvenience of taking cash out an ATM on my way than being ripped off for a Supper I can break my teeth on and end up binning and still going hungry.

Yes we were visiting from Glasgow, Friendly staff, very fresh well cooked chips and a lovely red pudding and sausage, better than Glasgow chippies for sure, warmed us up a treat xx Great value as well xx

Nice crispy batter on fish and was piping hot when arrived. Delicious!

Was very good but when I took a bite of my meal There was still abit of plastic deep fried. I didn’t complain as it was possibly an accident.

Placed an order for collection and arrived at the time stated it would be ready I had to wait a further 5mins for my food to be wrapped and bagged. When I got home I was very disappointed with the chip steak it was every cold like it had been sitting for a long time certainly wasn't just cooked. The fish supper was the rea let down for the price of a supper I though I would have a lovely bit of crispy battered fresh fish instead I got one piece of fish that was mushy and the fish wasn't flaking. The second piece of fish on the supper only had a tiny piece of fish most of that price was just batter.. I am not even going to comment on the chips 😒 think the only thing that was OK on the meal was the smoked sausage. Such a shame that our meal was a real let down as we have walked in for an order before and it was 👍. Some improvements needed before I go back. Sorry guys just being honest.

Cant say we have ever had a bad meal from K&K , I usually have the breaded fish it's always very well cooked and tasty , the wife has different things but always cooked well and tasty would definitely recommend

Spicy haggis was great!! But the pineapple fritters not so much, batter tasted too savoury and didn’t go well and also didn’t have syrup on them a was so disappointed in them.

Definitely use them again best chip shop anywhere by far
