The food is absolutely amazing when my order came it was still hot

I tried it for the first time. I quite liked it and it is a good alternative to the usual place I go to.

Tried a couple of times now. The delivery is always early which is fine by me. And it's always piping hot when it arrives. I've tried the beef chow mein, egg fried rice, beef fried rice, chicken in lemon sauce and king prawn and cashew nuts. Chow mein was nice. The beef is really tender and there's plenty of it. The noodles are not over cooked like at a lot of places. The egg fried rice is as good as most other places. Beef fried rice was good. Again plenty of beef. Seasoned well King prawn and cashew nuts. Plenty of prawns but I wish there was more nuts in it. The sauce tasted very good though. Plenty of garlic in it. The lemon chicken was not for me. A very sour sauce. I prefer it a bit sweeter than that. Maybe some would like it. All in all I would recommend. It's my new regular Chinese.

Just had a takeaway, it was all absolutely beautiful, would definitely use again. The hot and sour soup was amazing. All the food was piping hot and delivered well within the time 😀

Great staff on the front desk, great laugh and conversation with shell and chealsea whilst waiting for food. The food is always hot, tasty, and very satisfying. The delivery is always as quick as can be. Be patient and you will be happy with what you receive.

Fantastic Chinese, I have now had at least 16 and not one bad one. Would not order chinese food anywhere else in Morecambe.

Salt and pepper chips are amazingmake sure you get them crispy! Very fresh rice dishes perfect for mixing with sauce.

Just moved to morcambe a few months ago and this is my fave and new place to go. Amazing food that I'll be bringing the new year in with.

First time here as we thought we would try somewhere different. Unfortunately we will not order here again. Chow mein was very poor with no flavour, basically some noodles a few slice onions and some chicken. Dry, no sauce, flavourless. The chicken curry was also bland. No real flavour, I have had better chip shop curry sauce. The only positive was the peking ribs which were OK but had better. We will not be coming back here.

Spare ribs were acceptable, family platter with sauce...deep fried unchewable tasteless lumps in a pizza box, avoid!

Never had an issue, always deliver on time, hot food, reasonably priced,good portion size, would highly recommend 👌

Ordered via just eat on two occasions for someone staying at Travelodge nearby and they said best chicken foo yung they've ever had. Plenty of chicken and not bulked out with half a tonne of bean sprouts!! As I say ordered same two nights running it was that good ☺

We are on holiday in Morecambe and always a bit unsure of what the local take seats are like. We found this to be as good if not better than our local in Birmingham. Great service from the call to order right through to collection. Food was amazing lots of flavour and good value for money. Next time we are in the area we will be sure to order again

I placed a telephone order, was advised would be 10 minutes, I arrived at 10 minutes only to realise the order hadn't even been started. After asking how much longer I got a vague answer. I decided to walk out as was so disgusted with the service. No apology or anything. Other customers in the shop were equally as bewildered. One to avoid!

We’ve just had food from jumbo and it definitely lives up to it’s name! Portions are huge and tasty food too. We got the salt and pepper chicken and battered chicken in a spicy sauce with noodles, kids got the curry and shared it between them, we are all stuffed with loads left over which we’ll be having for tea tomorrow. They gave us some chicken wings too. I recommend this takeaway

Family trip away and came to Jumbos Chinese restaurant for a birthday meal. Got the Happy Harvester all you can eat banquet and is one of the best chinese meals we have ever had. If ever came back to the area would definitely return. Thank you for a beautiful evening

Hi,Just ordered food from jumbo takeaway, food was amazing probably the best Chinese food I have ever had in my life and trust me I’m very fussy when it comes to food and can’t literally compromise with taste. Amazing service quick and also they given us free salt and pepper chicken wings so nice of them please try food from here and I bet you won’t be disappointed.Jumbo you smashed it shame is I’m from Manchester and going back on Saturday I don’t know when next time I can have food from jumbo :(

Just visited today with the family, we ate upstairs in the restaurant. Got a mixed starter 3 drinks and three mains/rice, all was beautiful and the portions generous. Price came to just over £30 so very reasonable for eating in. Will definitely return.

ordered a takeaway arrived quickly ,on opening I found id paid £5 for a special in black pepper sauce only to get a load of vegatables and very very very little meat,if id of wanted a bowl full of veg I would of ordered veg,i,would not use these again I'm not paying for a meal and only receiving veg ,shame really as it was my last meal before my diet starts and I really wanted to enjoy it

Called in Friday night after a few drinks. Was very quiet. Didn't know the area very well saw it was a take a way and restaurant so in we went. Food was lovely. Had a mixed starter for 2 a little greasy but tasty. Main meals were lovely had rice and salt and pepper chips with chicken kung po and sweet and sour chicken both very nice and good sized portions. Would visit again if in the area.

A friend recommended this restaurant and take away, so we came to see what it was like. The restaurant is upstairs and has a very material look to the tables (the chairs and tables are covered to gold cloth) You either order a la carte or a as much as you can eat off 2 different menus.

Have used Jumbos regularly and always had good meals, the last one we had was awful, food very salty no other taste and although ordered variety of dishes many appeared to have same ingredients

Working away from home I've just visited the jumbo chinese. Greeted by a gangster wanabe arguing on the phone and asking us to hurry up with order. We left and got a kebab

Had a few takeaways from here now and always been spot on. Me and my girlfriend tend to share the salt and pepper platter and a main dish which is always great.

We went with 3 of our friends for a Christmas night out and had a brilliant night. We had the eat as much as you like menu and found a very good choice. The waitress was very good and nothing to much trouble. We could not get over how quiet it was with only 2 tables having people at them. We will defiantly return

Had Jumbos twice now! Last night me and my boyfriend ordered quarter duck and pancakes, a salt and pepper platter, sauces and some noodles with bean sprouts, and it was all absolutely awesome! We got 6 pancakes with our duck and still had half a box left afterwards, and the salt and pepper platter was tasty and a variety of everything.. All of this in total was £18 and we got fortune cookies and prawn crackers too - not enjoyed Chinese so much in a long time!!

Went to the restaurant for the first time tonight and wish we had found it sooner. The dining room is beautifully laid out and, most important of all, the food was superb. Our waitress Li couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel like we had been regulars for years. Don’t be put off by the outside that looks like any other takeaway, go upstairs and you will be pleasantly surprised!

The Feng Shui masters might deem this an inauspicious site, as it's on a bend in Morecambe town centre's Queen Street, but don't be fooled; inside the restaurant is all glamour! We were very taken by the decor - gold everywhere and the most amazing chandelier.

Had a meal for 2 here on Saturday night. Lovely and clean place. Very friendly waitress. Had a sharing starter which was huge and delicious! Then we had a special curry and a prawn curry , again both were very nice indeed. I hope this place does well as it so deserves it. Best curry I've had in years. Do give it a try.

Going for a few months has been excellent with the £14.90 (£16.90 Fri and Saturday) set Happy Harvest menu. Lee the waitress very attentive. I do however find the £23.90 (£25.90 Friday and Saturday) Joyous Harvest set menu very disappointing and not worth extra money. Asked for sizzling lamb with ginger and spring onions. It was a veggie option no lamb at all. Sizzling filet steak was Barbecue beef. There is an a la carte menu but the £14.90 Happy Harvest is tons better. I think they have a cheek to call it al a carte. Dont get me wrong if you have the Happy Harvest set menu you will not be disappointed I can't fault it. I would go as far as to say best chinese restaurant in Morecambe far superior to other two. I just cannot understand when they have a winning product they have two more expensive menus that are garbage with a capital G. Lee and Chung the Manager know their onions but owner needs to leave it to them run he has no idea.

The food was good and served hot in pleasant surroundings. The waitress was polite and we would go again.

We were staying in Heysham and had looked up best places for a meal. Couple of times we saw Jumbo pop up on Trip advisor and as it wasn't too far we all decided to give it a try. We found a car park which was free and only 2 minutes walk away from there.

Visited just yesterday, bank holiday Monday, restaurant very clean and smart, had a banquet meal which was all very good, and great friendly service, will definitely visit again.

Visiting morecambe for the day, we stumbled on this place and were very glad we did. Food was lovely, service was attentive and well priced too. Will visit next time we are passing!

Ordered takeaway from jumbos nothing to recommend . Unfortunately after delivery we got a very abusive phone call sayong wr haf ripped them off and hadnt paid the total and he was coming round to sort us out . He was told we had paid the correct amount and to go and check which he did . On phoning back he could not be more appologetic , to late for us will never use this place again .

The food is beautiful and the staff cannot do engoue to help you. They're make u feel really appreciate and warm welcome u have to go along way to beat this place it must vist and u can eat as much as u like it fabouisy food .

First time at Jumbo's, but certainly won't be the last. Extremely enjoyable experience. Everything about Jumbo's says quality. One of, and possibly the best Chinese food we have ever tasted, and at a super price.

2 of us went after failing to find the restaurant we were actually looking for. Very welcoming and food was quickly served, well presented and looked very appetising. Very high standard food and we ate the lot!! Recommend it to anyone in the area. We will be returning soon.

Not always keen on Chinese food as it can be greasy however Jumbo was recommended and we were not disappointed. The Chow Mien, Fried Rice, salt & pepper chips and curry was delivered quickly and was hot. The food tastes lovely and fresh and not greasy at all.

Fantastic choice, cooked to an exacting standard, presentation superb. We had takeaway which was delivered in a short time. Staff taking the order is polite and courteous. Give this a go and support this excellent establishment in Morecambe.

We went for a meal recently, We were told a price with 30% off for a set meal when we went to see enquire about it. The meal was good and the restaurant was upstairs and looked really good as the shop front which was a takeaway was misleading as it looked like most takeaways when we went upstairs we were amazed at the decor and theme.

Our family (Mum, Dad and 3 girls age 7,5,2) were made to feel very welcome in the restaurant upstairs at the end of a busy day trip to Morecambe. We were served by Li who was friendly and helpful, suggesting the fixed price Happy Harvest menu - which didn't disappoint in quality or value. Food was amazing and kids particularly enjoyed the chicken and sweetcorn soup; chicken on skewers; crispy aromatic duck and sweet and sour chicken. Mum and Dad enjoyed some of the spicier options. Very clean, lovely restaurant. Full tummies and a good night's sleep all round! Highly recommended.

Visited several times and never had a bad meal. A la carte menu is good but it's hard to pass up the amazing value all you can eat. Soup , starters, duck then mains chosen from a reduced menu and cooked to order. Service is fast and friendly.

Myself and my family n friends visited this restaurant for the first time. The food was delicious the decor was beautiful. The waitress was exceptional and couldnt do enough for us all. i cant wait to go again. All my family n friends enjoyed it too

We have just returned from an excellent experience at Jumbos.We booked for 26 people to celebrate my daughter's 18th and Chung, Leigh and the staff there could not have done enough for us.The food was excellent,we ordered the buffet which includes starters, soups, followed by duck and pancakes and then mains....lovely and plentiful and all for the princely sum of £10.50 each....bargain.Would not hesitate to recommend this establishment and hope to return in the near future.

Great food ... superb service and the all you can eat buffet is amazing value. I'd recommend this in a heartbeat.

Our usual Chinese takeaway was closed so we sought out Jumbos on TripAdvisor. We should have paid closer attention to some reviewer's comments about cheap basic food. The meals we ordered were all quite bland, some with little resemblance to what they should be. The meat was cheap fatty cuts. The sauces were all very gelatinous. Indeed one member of our family is incredibly greedy but even he refused to take more than a mouthful of the main dishes (but in fairness he happily polished off the starters).

We have made lots of visits to this excellent Chinese and can therefore feel justified that we can make a realistic review of this restaurant. The food is great quality and has been every time we have eaten here, the price is fabulous given that a remarkable 30% is taken off the bill including the all you can eat buffet menu. Service is outstanding considering that the number of attending staff is usually at a minimum. Always a friendly atmosphere to be had, lovely Chinese table settings, fabulous clean modern toilets, what's not to like? Bad reviews for this place? I don't believe them unless some of the food choices were not to their liking. Take it from us you will not be disappointed if you eat there, a restaurant that's getting more and more popular, that in itself tells you that it's a great place for a Chinese.

We went here on the night of Sun 30 April, after seeing the flyer in our hotel. The food is extremely tasty and very good value, with the restaurant offering an 'all you can eat' Al la carte. Our bill for 2 adults and 1 child with drinks (4 pints of beer) came to only a little over £40, so we were pleasantly surprised as we had a full set menu including soup, starters, duck and 3 mains. The waitress was lovely and great with our daughter, letting her try new things.

Where to start.. this place is a hidden gem and more people should know about it. Went with some friends staff are great, honest and could not do more for you if they tried. The food was gorgeous and portions where huge. It has all u can eat option which is cooked fresh for you every time the duck is out of this world along with the other food. We where seated at a great table and wanted for nothing. Not many people realise it's a sit down place as well as take away. By far the best Chinese in town. I've told so many others about this place whom have visited and enjoyed it just as much. 5 of us ate had a bottle of wine followed by soft drinks and where all surprised when the bill came threw. As it stands I don't know how long this is for but if you eat in the restaurant it's 30% off bill what more could you ask for great food at great prices. A place not to be ignored..

On a short trip away , I popped in here on a Monday Night and the man behind the counter a lovely Chinese Man with a fantastic Manchester I think accent told me about the Restaurant Upstairs and that they did a Buffet (not them awful buffets where its a free for all and the food tastes likes its out of Heron or Iceland) but truly authentic Chinese food and served to your table as much or as little as you wanted.

I'm sick of getting a Chinese and it never been right...do last night we went to Jumbos in Morecambe.... what can I say? Except.... excellent food, great family business with little helpers....and fab atmosphere, if we ever go back to Morecambe we will be back....kept up the good work.... we need more Chinese Take Aways and Restaurants.... with your level of excellent good Authentic Chinese Cusine A+++

We visited on a Sunday evening our first visit but not our last,could easily miss as restaurant on the first floor with a take away below. The premises are clean and welcoming,decor and background music very pleasant. The waitress was informative,friendly and gave time for selection to be made.We opted for the buffet menu but omitted the soup course. Spare ribs are to die for ,meaty ,succulent and tender with a dipping sauce,chicken wings were also very good.I managed to get very sticky fingers but a requested finger bowl resolved this. The next course was duck which again was excellent and ample proportion. The choice for the main meal was limited compared to other establishments and did not have any vegetable side dishes however I would imagine enough to suit everyone. I chose sweet and sour dish with rice, my partner had chow mein and a beef garlic with chilli . No complaints! There is no on site parking but a car park is available across the road. The staff did not rush you and ensured that you were aware that further orders could be placed. A browse through the main menu showed plenty of choices. Currently offering a discount on restaurant prices and at £10approx each would highly recommend

Have been going since it opened. We can't fault the £15.50 set meal it's really superb. I do however find the more expensive £25 menu not worth extra money and very disappointing. As long as you keep to £15.50 menu no complaints

Upstairs from a regular looking take away---prepare to be amazed!!!!!!The decor is stunning!!!!Beautiful chandelier,gold covers on the seats and tables and fabulous Chinese murals.Nicest loos in Morecambe!!!The service couldn't have been friendlier,although a few more staff needed,as they've got so busy on weekends.Food is fabulous,very generous portions.Personal favourites are salt+pepper squid and chicken wings,in all different flavours.

We visited the restaurant for the first time this evening, there were 7 in our party,we recieved a warm and friendly welcome, we all chose from the buffet menu, the food was excellent , good sized portions, all of our dishes were tasty and well presented and the staff were courteous, I would highly recommend a visit, we waited a while between courses but that is only to be expected when your food is been freshly cooked, we will definitely be going back

We placed a order of over £100 for my mums birthday treat. The food was delicious, great service and exceptional value for money.

The outside doesnt really give much away, but the restaurant upstairs is done out lovely. The service was spot on, Leigh (the waitress) couldnt of been more attentive if she tried - great member of staff. The food was beautiful, very generous portions as well. Definitely recommend as your local chinese!
