Longlands Inn & Restaurant in Lancaster

Just had a long weekend.Good Hotel and Location.Room was not cleaned or checked.Had to go and ask for milk and tea bags and ask for the bins bags.

Great food and very friendly accommodating staff

First time coming here with 3 friends for a meal out. Had a lovely time, the service was outstanding and the beef blue pizza i had was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Would definitely come again. : )

Can't rate this place highly enough. We stayed overnight in their car park with our MoHo whilst en route to Scotland. The hospitality we received was second to none. Each and every member of staff were really friendly. We had drinks in the beautiful pub area and ate in the restaurant. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. A beautiful area and good location

We had a Lovely meal for a birthday food was excellent and the staff went that extra mile and stayed in a beautiful room and breakfast was to die for

Had dinner. Good food, big portions, plenty of ales too.

What a great place to stay & dine will be going back for sure 👍 adequate rooms for over night stay.

Our favourite place in the Carnforth area. The bar and restaurant is absolutely superb. Reasonable priced drinks and food. Love the Ronnie and Bella reward card scheme. Staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful See you again soon.❤️

Lovely dog friendly country pub

Have stayed in the cottages on site on numerous occasions which allows the flexibility of self catering but we choose to have all meals at the hotel which is a very close but far enough not to hear any noise etc. exceptional service from all the fabulous staff. Will definitely be visiting again

We popped in here for a gathering and it was a very nice, laid out premises. Plenty of drinks to choose from and the food looks great 👍

Unfortunately, I was there for a wake, stunning inside as outside, all staff lovely food supplied really good, if hadn't have been at work next day would have loved to have stayed

I love this place, we always eat there when in the area. Very pleasant and efficient service. Not the cheapest but definitely good value especially for lunch. Update 09/24: Here again for lunch - superb, service and food. Everywhere seems very clean. Looks like it has been spruced (redecorated maybe) up since our last visit as everywhere looks that little bit sharper.

Excellent customer service. Food was ok but not as good as the last time I ate there. That was nearly 20 years ago since my last visit, so much has changed what doesn't in this world of ours.

My experience wasn't the best brought both our meals out my partners was cold so we asked if it could be warmed up and I had finished by the time I got it back when asked if everything wad alright on paying I said yes apart from that we didn't eat not much response to that prob won't go here again presentation of the food is lovely thou

We would definitely return to stay at Longlands, we loved the self catering cottage. Very comfortable bed. The staff are superb, the food is fabulous, and the location is stunning. Bit noisy near the road, so bring your ear plugs.

We were a party of 5 adults and a baby visiting for lunch. We were all very happy with the food and drinks. Service was friendly and efficient. The dining room was light and airy. Very enjoyable.

Stopped here for lunch on the off chance, loverly friendly staff and the best halloumi burger!

We visited for Easter Sunday lunch. Good price for some really good food in a nice atmosphere. The pub is really nicely set out with plenty of space and good service. Really recommend it!

I pay regular visits here, it sell decent food, and has a good atmosphere. Boxing day was great, with the boxing day hunt setting off. The place was packed all day and night and had great community spirit

Went for a meal with friends and it was absolutely brilliant.

Called for Lunch It was terrific. Food very very good a great range on the menu covering seasonal to the ambitious. Very tasty & not too busy. Service was excellent Much evidence of ongoing training. Well managed. 10 out of 10.

We have eaten in Longlands multiple times and it has always been ok. Until last Saturday when we had lunch. When we complained about the lasagne which was extremely dry we were told that's the way it is and another portion would be the same. Chose to pick something else, burger and chips which unfortunately was nearly as over cooked as the lasagne. Waiting on staff were lovely as always!!! We are regular visitors and feel this has been a gradual decline over the past few months. What's going wrong Longlands?????!!!!

Beautiful place, food was excellent.

We had a lovely stay here, the cottage we had was a very good size with everything you could need, the only reason for the 4 stars is some of the furniture was a little tied I.e. you couldn't sit on the sofa for more than 30 minutes as it the cushions had deteriorated, really though i rate it 4.5 but can't, so I had to give it 4. The food in the pub is lovely, service was good until it got busy then it slowed but its worth a visit. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Lake Windermere and the tourist train station, so all in a good stay. Update some fo the furniture and its an easy 5 stars.

Enjoyed several visits whilst on holiday nearby. Very welcoming for the public to dine/drink. Very good food experience. Warm atmosphere both bar and restaurant. Will return.

Enjoyed the stay. There for a wedding reception. Bar service was a little slow and patchy; the bar is double sided and could benefit with staff being allocated a side to serve as all the staff seemed to be on the opposite side when I needed them. Breakfast was good and service warm and friendly. Would stay again.

Absolutely brilliant food and great staff.

Checking in was quick and very friendly nice pleasant staff, shown to our room very nice spacious room and large bathroom. Nice selection of shampoo, shower gel and conditioners, great tray with all manner of different teas and coffees, sugars and sweeteners plus a lovely touch of a mini toffee crisp and wafer bar. Had dinner in the restaurant and everything was perfect one of the best surf and turf I've had the steak was cooked to perfection medium rare which I nearly always get over done this chef knows his stuff. Will definitely return great stay all round thank you.

I visited the Longlands Hotel for lunch, so am unaware of the rooms. It was remarkably busy for a Thursday lunchtime. The restaurant/bar areas were bright, clean and very well presented. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced.

Excellent food but didn't agree with automatic tip added to the bill.

Amazing hotel amazing staff and nice cosy rooms five star food in the restaurant and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had , super bar with a great range of drinks great location about three miles from Carnforth loads of walks around and the canal on your doorstep a great place to stay.

A lovely place to sit and unwind friendly attentative staff, highly reccomend a visit.

We called last minute to see if there was availablitly to use a room for a company training meeting, split into a morning and afternoon session for 10 people in each group. Everything was set up perfectly, and fresh filtered coffee and tea was available throughout the day, as well as lunch for those that stayed over too, and during this time, they then refreshed the room for the afternoon session. A good environment, with screens and display equipment all available and just ran so smoothly. Had a few extra requests too and these were no bother at all. We'll definately be using this service again - thanks for making the day work so well

Stopped for lunch. Food was excellent. Lamb kofte and cheese and onion garlic bread were brilliant. Very tasty. Our dog was made welcome. Very dog friendly place.

Stayed here whilst attending archery competition. The staff were great, the food was terrific and the location....well, I wish it had been a longer stay so we could have walked more of the canal paths.

Lovely food area, staff very kind and attentive. Menu is not massive but still plenty to choose from, seems a popular place for pizza lovers.

I went for my brother's wedding and the service from the staff was unbelievable nothing was ever to much to ask for, highly recommended 5* from me 👍😁

Fantastic location for visiting the lakes and especially Capernwray dive site, wonderful friendly, welcoming staff, great food, great selection of drinks, selection of 2for1 cocktails all day every day, great place to eat if staying at Tewitfield Marina, loads of parking, super, dog friendly, nice interior spaces and good sized outdoor eating area, thanks again

Saturday evening meal for 4 of us. Food was great and good service. We just found it too noisy, being difficult to talk across the table. Most if the noise was coming out of the bar. Not alot can be done, but some soft furnishings may help

Went to longlands for lunch with my daughter,small granddaughter and millie the dog, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by staff who seated us brought a small bowl of water and treats for millie, pencil crayons and a colouring sheet for granddaughter ,and a jug of ice water and three glases. Omg we were made to feel very special, we then ordered lunch which was beautifully presented and and tasted as good . Amazing place can't wait to go back,
