Jumbo Chinese chippy in Liverpool

Only found this chippy by accident, when the one I usually go to was closed, best accident I've had, superb food, friendly staff and very quick service, highly recommend 👌

Good chinese food at a reasonable price..Order by phone and your meal is ready for collection..Always busy.

Just bought fish and chips which was the worst I have ever had. Warmed up chips that tasted of pure grease a fish that was supposedly cod .The batter fell apart due to being soaked in fat. Cost nearly £9 . Never again call into this chippy

Decent, various types of veg in a dish, not a lot of meat, expected portion to be bigger, tasty

Chinese food very good. Tasty and good portions. Fish not very good, batter too thick and as a result not solid right through. Chips excellent, not greasy at all. Tends to be busy but plenty of staff and they cope well. Bit more pricey than some of the other local take aways but quality makes it worth it.

Probably the best Chinese takeaway in the area. I usually go between ere and friendly garden in hunts cross. I'd say the both by far the best around

Just got home with my Fish and Chips, not to their usual standard, I phoned up to tell them but the Woman who answered didn't understand what I was saying that the Fish was tough at the tail end, so we had to cut a third off and throw it away, it was as if it had been refried from Lunchtime. I do feel the standard is going down, from when they first opened, come on Jumbo, dont let your standards slip x

Recovered from covid and wanting something warm and comforting that we didnt have to cook but might spatk off the old tastebuds...couldnt go wrong here with the Curry chicken and rice with plenty of chicken and sauce and lovely fresh chips on the side. Great size meal representing cracker value for money

Got sweet and sour chicken got it with noodles instead or rice fabulous and got onion omelette instead of chips I asked for beansprouts with it fabulous the staff are great here I just asked for the meals to be served like that and they met my requirements brilliant just a fabulous chippy

Not sure what’s happened with this chippy but it isn’t as good as when it first opened. Chips always seem overcooked these days.

Lovely people but really bad chicken

We phoned in a big order on a Saturday night, 8 adults, 5 kids worth for pick up. Everything was still hot, fresh and really tasty. Big portions as well. New favourite takeaway.

Really great little place, got a huge menu of both Chinese and traditional chippy food, if you didn't want a full Chinese meal you could go with the classic fish and chips! good prices and really lovely staff!
