JR Takeaway in Manchester

Prior to moving away in 2020, I used to visit weekly & loved their chicken kebab. Great service and friendly staff. Their phone number is currently DEAD Their website now states "closed, due to reopen 13 December 2024".

Placed a online order at 7pm, money was taken from my bank and not received anything at 9pm, wife was phoning and got no answer so I drove down and the place was closed, bang out of order, took my money and didn't care less, be careful, don't think I'll be going here again and now have the trouble of trying to get my money back.

Orders for takeaway after 3 hours of waiting I drove to the shop to find it closed but have still taken my money

They don’t even know how to take customers orders. They aren’t very trained and have a big issue communicating. Very unprofessional staff. I asked for a Chicken Wrap and the man behind the counter started saying Chicken Shish on Naan. Wrap isn’t on Naan it’s on tortilla when I explained what the difference was. He then gave me a different price to what’s on the menu board. After that he started shouting in my face and being agressive. You clearly don’t know what a chicken wrap is. First learn how to treat your customers and not be rude to them. I walked in for the first time and will definitely never go again. Worst takeaway, deserves to shut down!

Our first visit here. We ordered and waited rather than ordered online. The service was very personal and friendly. Loads of options on the menu to choose from and we were well advised. The pizza and garlic bread were some of the best we have had. We will be back!

Excellent food and friendly staff. Fresh pizza miles better than one you would cook yourself. Even if you could be bothered spending hours to make the fresh dough yourself it would cost you more. That's the point of buying food from a long standing Levenshulme business! Ignore the one star reviews, they are probably all written by the same keyboard warrior, and not by genuine customers. My favourite takeaway along this part of the A6. I don't go as much nowadays but pre-COVID their pizzas were amazing for the price. Not too large and filling enough.

I ordered a Donner Kebab, well the days of this place been a nice Takeaway are long gone., the best part of the meal was the can of Coke.. Atleast they didn't make that...

My expectations were sky high for this place but it turned out to be just an abhorrent slopfest… a Sloperoni if you will! Could have cooked myself at least three full english breakfasts with the amount of grease that gushed off each slice while I was eating it. Tripe

Ordered a shashlick kebab, got a cheese burger with a curly hair on it, garlic bread was really dry and tasteless

The meat looked liked it had bathed in Sharon Osbornes ham sandwich for 30 years, dry, old and it stunk. Never again will I order from here.

Rang up the takeawy to order a kebab, the guy shouted Allah Akbhar and the phoneline went off... Waited 2 hours but no food, would not reccomend.

Food was shocking, came cold, I thought I asked for a shish kebab but instead all I got was burnt veg, chips were as soggy as Elton John's boxers after he's watched the magic Mike movie. Will not order again, I'd rather poo in my hands and clap. When I rang up to complain the guy on the phone didn't give a monkeys, just told me he knew the food was bad and that was it, I asked for a refund and they put the phone down.

Ordered a kebab that was £7.50 and got a bunch of lidi lettuce and 5 week old meat, were coming to your mums house and we gonna do damage... Never order here
