My band ALL HAIL HYENA were playing in Manchester and we needed to get some food, so we gave this a chance. So glad we did! Stunning food, arrived nice and hot, tasty, great price and delicious. Would highly recommend to friends and family and will be coming back when I'm in the city again!

Had the lunch deal for £8. Cola is a joke, chips are trash, burger is ok but I won’t be returning.

Never been to an Archie's before. We had a late Saturday night visit. A bit pricey but actually a really good freshly made burger. Young lad behind the counter was nice, and was working hard to serve everyone quickly whilst making up delivery orders.

Iconic burgers from Manchester. Great atmosphere of the restaurant and, above all, super tasty. A plus for the restaurant being open for a very long time!

I've been going to Archie's for years, and the food is always great. I usually visit the Trafford store, but recently I was in the city center and went to the Oxford Road location. The food was excellent as always. However, I've noticed that occasionally, certain staff members, particularly the girl at the front in Oxford road seem quite disengaged and lack enthusiasm. It feels like they don't want to be there. This has been my experience at both the Oxford Road and Arndale locations. Improving customer service and people skills would greatly enhance the overall experience

I ordered the Royal with Cheese (£7.99) and Curly Fries (£2.75). The food came hot, and the presentation was nice for a takeaway. I waited a while to get served, but the staff seemed busy, so this is understandable. I last visited this Archie's branch a number of years ago, and the quality has not changed. The food was extremely delicious, and I will definitely be coming back soon. If you can spend a little extra, I recommend this over McDonald's.

Smash burger was great. Wings are strange. Not a fan of the seasoning. Very little sauce.

Took over an hour to deliver, sent out completely wrong order. Ordered 2 burger meals, bottle of water and milkshake for £40, received what appears to be no more than a £10 order. Phoned them, someone faking to be the manager was extremely rude told us to deal with it as it’s not their problem, it’s an Uber eats issue. He took no responsibility for anything! Manager obviously didn’t want to deal with the situation so had the cleaner take the call! Shocking how these types of places get away with robbing people! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!

We had asked if there was seating available, and the person at the counter responded, ‘By the looks of it, unless you want to sit on the floor, you can go ahead.’ This is unacceptable. Despite the empty shop, the rude behavior made it an unpleasant experience. Definitely not recommended.

Absolute rubbish. £40 worth of food discounted to £20 not even worth £5. Cold hard chips. Rock hard waffle's superstar burger all I got was a bun and pice of squashed meat no salad no cheese no sauce. I don’t have much money this was a treat for me. -10/10.

The restaurant is strong and deserves it, and the diy is very strong and deserves it, and the potatoes are strong, but I liked the diy more than the meat, and all the food is halal. The meat and the diy are worthy of it, I recommend it ❤️

I loooove your burgers but please stop using uber eats as your partner. You are only losing customers with it. The service is pathetic, i ordered food from archies last night and it never arrived . For God sake change your delivery partner before u lose all your delivery customers. Uber eats is an absolute joke. Ruined last night for me

Been waiting for over two hours, close on three for an order from Uber Eats. System won't let us cancel without being charged around 90% of the order value, and I suspect because the restaurant has marked the order as having been made but not despatched. So because it's sat there going stone cold with nobody collecting it they hold the customer to ransom. How is that even legal? Then for the last 20 minutes the system has been saying it's on its way on a bicycle with another drop to do, but the ETA keeps getting pushed further and further back with no progress whatsoever on the tracker. Avoid not just this restaurant like the plague but avoid Uber Eats too. Once they've taken your hard-earned money they couldn't give a monkey's about you - Just Eat deals with issues much more efficiently.

Always come here for the milk shakes. Always spot on, my faviroute is the amir khan shake. Very thick and flavourful.

This is the nicest takeaway restaurant I've ever been too, like I'd even say it's up there with a McDonalds if not serving tastier food and better milkshakes! It's self service with touch screen menus and you get your receipt and wait for your order. The music was banging to the point you could even hang around and have a little boogie during a stop off between bar hopping. The food as always is delicious, I order a chicken and Hash brown burger with cheesy spicy tater tots which are bloody great. They give it to you nicely wrapped and in a little bag 👍🏼 Cutlery if you need and extra sauces are available too. Can't really fault Archie's to be honest, would highly recommend over McDs, Burger King and KFC

Smash burgers no taste. Missing salt n pepper on beef patties. Crinkle chips??? Really? That alone warrants a low score. And the orange soda and lemonade. Too fizzy less taste. Overall a major disappointment

The lady who made the milkshake had no gloves and she was literally on her phone before she started making my shake, even when starting to make my shake she didn't wash her hands or wear gloves and it had an awful after taste! They definitely need a random health inspection, i felt sick after 🤢🤮

I ordered through Uber eats and paid for priority delivery. I was told I should receive my order by 1:45 PM. It is now 2:50 PM, over an hour since I placed the order. My Uber delivery driver has not been able to deliver anything because somehow the food isn’t ready yet. Avoid at ALL costs if you care about getting your food hot & warm and on time.

I order last night in Piccadilly on Uber then my order was submitted for oxfords road and picadelly , straight away call to Oxford one and explain everything to manager but still he didn’t cancel my order , keep holding me on phone for over 15 min then they said is late your order is ready , but when I get my order was really cold , couldn’t even eat my food

Great service! A 10! A guy who was making millshakes looked like Aaron Taylor Johnson, he took this compliment very graciously! Another very nice man on the door telling the drivers numbers to collect....without him the whole operation wouldnt have been as smooth and effeciant, he was dresses to the nines looking presentable and immaculate. Whole thing absolutely stunning!

Delivered me a chicken burger via Uber eats rather than the one I paid for and wanted! Got Part of my money back b it still not good enough. Ruined my experience and also the milkshakes were horrible. Always have an issue with Archie’s. Food is cold and overall the delivery service is HORRIBLE as an experience. There is always something wrong. Won’t be ordering from any Archie’s again

Ordered chicken tender boxes which were good but the ranch is NOT ranch! It’s watered down sour cream and chive dip so this was extremely disappointing and was left.

Absolutely amazing food. Love the smash burgers and I've had most on the menu . The wings are very tasty and full of flavour , especially the very hot ones .. shakes are too die for and worth every pound .

Could do with some Plastic Straws. Paper straws are awful and barely last 2 minutes. Could even help you the consumer by selling reusable metal straws for less than £1 watermarked with the archie’s logo.

Very very nice place, run by a superb manager Zanna. Understands customer service, drove from london and came 15 mins to closing and she was the only staff member willing to serve us.

Great Food. But It still a bit expensive

Sometimes we all get tempted by shinny things bright lights and grease. And I'll be damned but I like that stuff sometimes. But it never really makes you feel good about yourself does it.

Food is okay but it’s rather infuriating to wait 23 minutes for a single chicken wrap and end up missing your train at Manchester Piccadilly. Especially when 90% of the staff are just stood still chatting. Should have known I was in for bad service when the guy taking my order was busy chatting to another staff member rather than focusing on the ONLY customer in the place, directly infront of him…me! Fast food this ain’t!

Great food but very slow service. Moderately busy it took 17 minutes for my single burger and then another 10 minutes for my girlfriends burger. 27 minutes is not fast food.

I don’t often do end of the night fast food, but when I do it’s got to be Archies. Clean, tasty and open late. Only downside is the waiting time.

Mediocre Branch if I'm being honest & a hit and miss you just have to get lucky with when you go in and which staff are working. Burger sometimes is cold in my experience and is common unless you get lucky and they make it right there on the spot. Can't fault the fries and sauces they taste good compared to other places and only reason I come back to here from time to time. Customer service isn't really there all till staff don't have welcoming faces and look quite agitated most of the time which puts me off sometimes.

Used to really like this place but as many other reviews the fries are always cold, literally doubled the prices, £14.50 for a big daddy burger! Used to be £9ish.. doubled prices with no justification on everything, no longer do meal deals. Took advantage of their popularity but now it's never busy. Rather go Mr T's or slim chicken

Just ordered through deliveroo. Arrived minus 1 burger and 1 milkshake. Pathetic!! You have one job to do after taking my money and that is to correctly pack my order!!!!

Reason I give one star is because of the attitude of the staff. The service was dead slow for one. I got my order but my fries were cold so I asked if they could be changed as I aint paying for no cold fries. They agreed to swap them over which I appreciate but the way they huffed and puffed was unprofessional. I felt there was just no urgency and the chap was moving at some slow pace, stood around singing bollywood tunes and touching food with his bare hands. It was as though he was trying to get a reaction

The prices are expensive for no reason!! There are no meal deals: burgers by itself, chips by itself and drinks separately aswell. The packaging was VERY BAD !!! 2 of the burgers were squashed as they were wraped in paper only and weren't in a box to prevent them from being squashed. We had 2 chicken cheetos burgers, the cheetos were either out of date or not fresh as there was no crunch to it!! The falafel wrap was NOT FALAFEL!!! The hot cheesy chips was ridiculously over priced!!! All the food was not hot just barley warm!!!! Even though I left a note saying I'm a new customer and this is my first order from Archies and that's what I got!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED. Never again and please avoid and definitely I don't recommend.

Milkshake was horrible. Left a whole chunk of chocolate at the bottom. Couldn't even be bothered blending it properly and the milkshake was runny which I hate. Very disappointing

Shakes not great. Very average. Used to do a strawberry shakes which was on point. The ice cream in the shake didn’t even taste of anything.

Burger was amazing! Went for the iconic superstar burger. However I felt it was small for the price paid. £8 for burger alone! No drinks no chips.

Spent 40 minutes waiting on one burger, and when I finally got my burger the order was wrong. Staff are lovely and hard working, but management is shocking - they need at least double the staff in the kitchen to keep up with demand. If you're going to order food, get it through a delivery service.

They messed up my order and by the time I received it, it was cold and soggy. It was a complete waste of money! I made a complaint through their website but they ignored it.
