🇹🇯Kurdish Restaurant in Manchester

Last owners were better. First, ripped me off on a small portion of chips for £4. Second, tried to give me old chips and then got aggressive when I picked up on it. Third, reheated my donnor in the pizza oven, which gave it the worst taste possible.

Can't fault Kurdish as my go to shawarma.

i ordered lamb kebab with naan i don't know what kind of kebab he made totally rubbish and dry even no any sauce with it sorry to say but don't get kebab from them

Great value for money Kurdish restaurant in Levenshulme. Very clean and they have ample seating (as well as a hall upstairs). The staff was really friendly and helpful....though sometimes the language barrier. The lam kebab and flafel sandwich were awesome! Great find.

Comfort place, comfort food. Lamb chops and kebab dishes are great! Staff are nice. Went here several times, trusty place to get your kebab/chops fix. Serving is big too, so it's good value for money. All dishes come with salad, as expected of kebab restaurants. The place can sometimes get packed especially during late afternoons.

Decided to go inside for lunch as Miami crispy was cash only. Walked in and the Female and male staff member didn’t seem interested. Looked at menu on display, asked for dish of the day for Friday, kofta, it was unavailable. Then the 3 items I picked from the menu were not available as they did not have chicken and the meat was not ready to grill. Decided to give it a miss and went to Alborz on Stockport rd which was above expectation, so ended well but disappointed with this place

I just had a Chicken Shawarma from here. Taste was good and the quantity was more than expected.

Yknow I drive past this place all the time and always thought it looked decent... Just had a chicken shawarma wrap (finally) and can confirm - excellent! Authentic fresh and tasty, very satisfied, thank you!

Took 3 minutes from us entering (as the only people in the shop) to say hello and ask us what we wanted. Then grunted unintelligibly in response to everything we asked. Made no eye contact. Then when we said we would go somewhere else because he was rude became very hostile. AVOID AVOID AVOID

The food is clean, we have eaten many kinds of food here, they are very tasty and the prices are low

Poor quality shawarma. The bread was decent though. The restaurant wasnt particularly clean. The guy was using his phone whilst handling food. I won't be going back.

Great food, portion size, service and prices! I was actually shocked by how cheap it was for the size and quality. I wish I lived closer as I would be a regular here.

Food is very tasty, plenty on plate, great sitting outside and watch world go by. Good value for money.

Very good Schwarma, grilled meats, freshly cooked naan bread etc and some delicious home cooked dishes that rotate daily. Very friendly and a nice seating area out front or larger dining space upstairs. Just as good as Lev Bakery. The Lamb skewer kebabs were outstanding, and all at super cheap prices. And quick service. Went out in that area two days in a row and always finished the night with a nice falafel. They make the durum bread in their own tandoor, always fresh even at night time! Would love to have that kind of place at home too!

My favourite place to eat out in Levenshulme. The food is delicious and fresh. We eat out at the place frequently. Also shout out to the staff, they are always amazing. I recommend chicken in samoon, soups, fataya and grilled food

Absolutely love the place. Even when I'm not hungry I will go in to visit the workers and give my salaam because they are always doing their best to treat customers right. Plenty of options, great pricing, great food, and seating upstairs is nice too. Once made an order for some mint tea, which wasn't on the menu, and a lad went to a local shop to get some mint just to make my tea. Outstanding.

Dry lamb shawarma and long waits.

Smaller and smaller portions every time you go and pay the same price whilst the guy is casually chatting to his mates.

I came in with this guy told me he is a manager and he arguing about the price. I told him i dont want two toppings i just need chicken and pepperoni 10" and he charges me 4.50 Chicken & 2 veg is 4.00 I need the managers number. I was a regular there nd now im not. Pathetic manager.

Was craving shawarma and decided to try this place. The shawarma rolls we tried were chicken and lamb each. They tasted great, was a very filling portion size, and we also had a portion of chips that were good too. Safe to say our craving was satisfied. The seating just outside is very cozy too.

We visit this place during our Manchester visit. It is amazing! We order lamb quzi, falafel, pacha. All of them are amazing, tasty, cheap and good quality. Highly recommended!

Really tasty food at very low prices. Found the service to be excellent. There is seating available upstairs. It is newly opened so looks quite spotless. Bought some chicken fataya's and family really enjoyed them, saying they were very soft and fresh with good flavours and aromas. Yes I recommend this day food restaurant. 😁👍

Discovered this place by accident but wow I love it its in levenshulme on the A6 The food lovely reasonably priced the lads who run it are really friendly and can't do enough for you there's tables upstairs and toilets and you can sit out on the front defiantly going back soon

Amazing food friendly staff, affordable fresh and tasty, diffrent main meal dishes each day I had a lovely bean soup, but I also love there fresh dolmas on a Saturday delisous

I had a falafel sandwich the bread is freshly baked in front of your eyes it was probably the best I have ever tasted. And I have had allot of falafel and shawarmas around the local area. Keep up the good work I will be back

Heard this was the place to go. Raw chicken on the Shwarma unforgivable. Its the one thing you are supposed to do well. Just go levy bakery and get it done properly. Staff couldn't be less interested, watching the TV that's clearly there for them not customers.

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered kebab and the guy got me 2 skewers from the display fridge that looked million years old. It took 15 minutes to get them cooked on the grill, which shows how not fresh they were. The guy who was packing them coughed on the naan and cut into halves (didn't even bother to give me a whole naan). Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemies.

Ok! We did a taste taste of the kebabs in Lev, Kurdish hands down won. We didn’t take all the pics but you can guess which one was Kurdish! All the meat, accommodating on the sauces where others lacked (mental for a kebab place) On the taste test in Lev, this is the only kebab we finished! 10/10 Kurdish, you are the one x

This place is great we enjoyed with food and Dô (Mast aw or Water in Yoghurt). Owner and workers are great and friendly. One of my favourites Kurdish restaurant in the UK. They have space you can seat outside or indoor.

Had chicken shawarma. It was delicious.They gave us complementary soup and naan. Very friendly staff.

Bought lamb shawarma on naan. Lamb was juicy and flavourful. Choices on salad are sparse but the chilli sauce is damn good. Naan size is quite smaller than normal.

Horrible.. horrible food. The lamb shawarma was more likely a mince fat with no meat. (The fat is dripping) The fatayer quality is very bad... no customer service no sauces just yoghurt and chilli .. poor service.

Really nice chicken and falafel

I just got a falafel wrap there and not only was the falafel, the salad and the sauce DELICIOUS, the guy that made it was really sound. This from someone who is often critical of falafel, sauce and salads, and is feeling a little grumpy towards the average Joe atm. Both thumbs up for this place!

I was looking forward to trying this new place but it was a assume disappointment. I'm giving this review in the hope Kurdish takes on the feedback and makes positive changes as a new business. Staff were pretty unfriendly, was hoping the food would make up for it but was so so bland and not satisfying at all. Even the chips were very soggy. Definitely just another kebab shop. I'll be going back to Levenshulme bakery, so much tastier and definitely friendlier even when busy!

A lovely place off of the 192 route. The food was affordable with a particularly good chicken shawarma, however one complaint would be that it was slightly too oily. Seating was low-key, despite the cheesy LEDs, and the food was delivered to the table as a nice added service that few on the 192 route offer. Overall, it was a good place to go for a lunch or two when a quiet and relaxed atmosphere is what is you want.

Fantastic lamb schwarma sandwiches. Lovely, tasty lamb and great bread. Better than Levenshulme Bakery, which is saying something.
