JP’s Bar in Hartlepool

Great food, one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve had. They were clearly very busy but told us what they had available and approx waiting time. Kept us informed the whole time, The food was worth the wait the lamb and pork were cooked amazing. Will definitely be back.

Excellent coffee and home made scone - will return and recommend

The food is really beautiful in here and the surroundings are just lovely. I especially love the art work by local artists on the walls. The waitresses are really nice and friendly . It's a shame it never seems busy.

Went for the afternoon tea for my Mum’s birthday , 3 adults and my baby grandson. Afternoon tea poor , not even a full 2 slice sandwich each , a half size cheese and fruit scone , a tiny china cup with some crisps in between 3 of us and around 3 miniature frozen cakes. The sandwiches and scones were very nice I must add . No offers of refills for the tea and coffee, and the coffee was awful. Very disappointing, had afternoon teas in loads of places and this is one of the lowest I rank .
