Jorrocks in Derby

This whole place is like one big dance floor on a Friday/Saturday night. Good DJ and good vibe

Good pub, good tunes, always enjoyed the Jorrocks and especially on match day. Another visit and another great time, give it a go.

Somewhat overpriced and the drinks seam to be watered down or short measures.....very weak.

Brilliant place, great music, atmosphere, and service is good. Prices aren't bad either. Reccomend. Very busy on Saturday.

It's ok for a pint. A bit basic but staff friendly enough. Also always seems to smell of bleach when I've been in.

I only been to this pub when it was empty, as it seems... in my experience it is either quiet or absolutely bursting with people and sometime karaoke. It is said to be a haunted pub, and that a skull was found in the basement... with that said, I never noticed the skull (it is supposed to be at the bar?) Would still recommend it.

Not a bad place but not great either

Visited as a golfing society from whiston Hospital Merseyside. A great Karaoke night we had and great bar staff. A quite Thursday night in Derby but this place was booming, of course it helped with 14 of us guys 🙂

One of the oldest and best pubs to socialise in Derby. Especially after the Rams have won.

Very pleased with the decor and historic references...and the beers is very well priced for a city centre pub... Can certainly recommend!

Apparently the beer wasn't good. I personally had expensive fruity cider in a bottle and enjoyed the music from my youth.

Not my kind of place... drink was cheap and tested like it... a place to listen to loud cheesy music and get plastered. Many people seemed to be enjoying themselves but it just wasn't my scene.

Old historic pub associated with Bonny Prince Charlie and the Jacobite revolution. Good range of traditional ales, lagers and ciders, poker nights, regularly have DJ's. Horse racing shown on multiple screens all day.

Reasonably priced drinks ad always good to pop in on a night out. Always busy. More aimed towards the older generation.

MrJorrocks has been in the same location and had the same name for eons and yet is by no means old fashion. It's loud and lively some nights Dj is banging out tunes and dance floor is busy, but still has room for you to "bus yo moooovvves."

Absolutely awful. The locals are inbreds whom think fighting is normal. My mate , who is completey harmless come out with a broken nose. Bouncers threw us out because they were in league with the the lads that broke my mates nose. Disgraceful...

Beer ok but no real buzz about the place

Cheap drinks on a nite out although floor can b quite sticky and toilets not the best but has a friendly atmosphere here. On busy times it can b quite a squeeze as its not a very big place and the queue for toilet annoying as only 2 toilets but we tend to come in for some drinks not to stay the nite. On quieter nites we stay longer but also quieter nites they will close earlier than advertised if not busy enough. Started to become a regular stop off on our nites out we happily come back.

Loved it in this place! Very patient with myself and my large group of friends, highly recommended 👍

Spent over a £100 between me and my partner who was there from early afternoon untill 2200, was there all day enjoying ourselves, then got told I had to leave cos I was too drunk by the doorman(Hello your pub sold us the drink), no prior warning or anything. I'll take my business elsewhere in future, their are so many more pubs deserving of my hard earned cash than this s@@@ hole. I'll enjoy my time somewhere else in Derby in future.

Small old coaching house with lots of history attached to it, see if you can figure out the demise of the female skull they found in the cellar which is over 300 years old. Moderate range of beers but is a decent pub to chill out in on an afternoon.
