awful flavourless food, styled as oriental tapas but were actually tiny for the prices paid, the dumplings came out completely broken, had no taste. Really poor food, thai elephant is just across the street, highly recommend that place

Delightful, quaint, personable and the food of course was amazing! The tapas were really individual and the tastes hit differently. Never had octopus before but the octopus salad was surprisingly splendid! Right flavours and all that. So why not a five star? Still a small business with minimal space so makes for some awkward seating but they somehow still made that work with the layout and furnishing.

I've been there and I'm still confused as to what the cuisine is supposed to be. It spans multiple continents. The menu is confusing and contains dishes from roughly 15 different countries. Most dishes were fine. Nothing special but by Leamington standards, it's probably one of the best restaurants.

One of the best meals we have ever eaten. Unique flavours, wonderful presentation, filling portions. We had 5 dishes between two of us, and a dessert. The chef is very talented. This was a recommendation and did not disappoint !! Only constructive feedback was that it was quite cold in the restaurant

Wow what a gem. This place should get its well deserved Michelin star. Reasonable prices for delicious food. We recommend the grilled octopus - lovely flavours, soft, and succulent. Great for sharing with friends, intimate dates, or just to try new things on your own. Away from the loudness of the town, it really is a hidden gem. Leamington has some brilliant places to eat and this is no exception.

I came here with my boyfriend for Valentine’s day which was an absolutely excellent experience! I had originally tried to book online and they had no space all day, but my boyfriend called and the owner promised to fit us in. Generally the staff were all very welcoming and attentive! As some reviews have mentioned, the restaurant is rather small, but the decor was very cute (especially with the Valentine’s decorations). The waitress we had was lovely and very helpful, answering all our questions very promptly. The owner as well came over and made sure we were enjoying ourselves which was nice! We ordered the tapas sharing menu which was delightful - the seafood especially tasted fresh and the sauces were all varied and delicious. Especially recommend the panko shrimp and mussels, as well as the soft crab meat! We’ll definitely be back soon, hopefully to try the large sharing platter.

Awful. Extremely amateur and falls way short of restaurant standards in Leamington. Food never arrived and we had been there for nearly an hour. There was a distinct feeling that they couldn't care less. Cramped tables, awful atmosphere. Cheap and nasty decor with vile paper napkins. I've had better experiences at fast food chains. Note to manager- One of my pet peeves is when restaurant staff are hanging around doing admin on their laptops right next to our table. My husband enquired to give feedback but the person replied "My boyfriend's the owner and he's not here"... oh dear. Give it a miss.

Very disappointed with our visit to Jomo for dinner on Tuesday evening. 1 hour 45mins for 6 tapas dishes and dessert. Food was pretty poor. Not particularly attentive service. Poor value for money especially considering the food quality. Opted for the taster menu at £85 for a selection of 6 tapas dishes, 2 sides and 2 dessert. Ordered soft crab, veg spring rolls, duck bao buns, lamb skewers, scallops and mussels for the tapas selection. Fries and grilled asparagus for sides. Veg spring rolls were OK, but suspect they were frozen. Bao buns had hardly any filling inside. Mussels were OK, but were over cooked. Scallops were drowned in a sauce and were very much under cooked. The lamb skewers were genuinely the greasiest things I have ever eaten... the asparagus was very overcooked and very very salty, so much so we were having to scrape the salt off prior to eating. The only positive, cheesecake was delicious and a good portion size.

I can't rate this place highly enough. Myself and a friend called ahead to let them know we were going to order the seafood platter because it is a big item for them to prepare. Well to start with we were not impressed with such a small, cramped, tall table. We were informed that we should have specified a 'proper' table when booking BUT as we've never been here before we had no idea this would be the case. We ordered just two dishes to start with partly due to the table size and partly to ascertain the portion size. The scallops, for my wife, arrived and had been polished off ages before my mussels turned up. Fair enough, both dishes were OK and we were given bread to mop up with. We had the foresight to order some further dishes while I devoured the mussels. King prawns, octopus, beef ribs, and Korean chicken. Again all OK. But honestly nothing that exceptional and all served on cold plates with cold side plates and all with poorly prepared salad garnishes with no dressing. So not that bad but not that good either. Not sure it was worth the price point and not sure we'd go again

The first place in Leam that gets an 11/10 from me! The owner was incredibly sweet and his service and hospitality was above and beyond, the food was amazing! Considering the fact that it was tapas, the portion sizes were good. I tried octopus for the first time and I absolutely fell in love with it. The Asian touch of adding kimchi, with the smashed potatoes and sprinkling of pomegranate seeds was so harmonious together and it was heartwarming to know that the recipes belong to the owners’ mom. Highly, highly recommend and I wish I discovered this place before I graduated.

Particular highlights are the octopus (most tender I've ever eaten, was like butter), the burrata and it's wonderfully citrus seaweed salad, the scallops and their creamy sauce and everything else we tried! One good thing about being a micro restaurant is that everything is open kitchen/bar, there is a door on the single toilet though 🙂 Small plates of great food. Go for the sharing course. 6 or 7 items off the mains menu 70£ The octopus 🐙 was probably best I've tasted. New small seafood tapas place in Leamington, serving more than the usual and with a lot of variety for seafood. The restaurant is really small but at the same time very cozy. The dishes are reasonably priced, with a Tasting menu for 2 at £70, comprising any 6 portions from the menu, 2 sides and 2 deserts. Drinks are on the expensive side, but acceptable. The service is really strong, polite and careful - and the right level of friendliness (not excessive, but still very friendly). Food came staggered but we actually preferred like that! Has got all it needs to become a strong competitor in Leamington tapas scene.

We loved the atmosphere in here. It is a small space so booking ahead is advised! The drinks were quite expensive (min. £8.50 for a large glass of white wine). I felt it was a shame that there were no beers offered on tap however the choices for bottled beers were strong! This place offers a tapas style of dining. 3 plates per person is sufficient but you might want to order a cheeky side just to satisfy your hunger. I went for the crab claws (amazing with a delicious sauce), the prawn gyozas and the tofu. Our food came staggered which we expected and weren't worried about but the tofu and octopus only arrived after we had finished everything else. The tofu was a bit disappointing - two small slithers of tofu that only slightly tasted of their marinade and were so soggy in the middle that it was hard to pick up. However, everything else we ordered was very tasty. Overall, considering this place is newly opened, they are off to a strong start but with the prices being quite high, the quality needs to be consistent across all dishes and perhaps the timing could be improved. I'm sure these niggles will be remedied though very soon.
