Jolly Potters in Stoke-on-Trent

Needs a lot of support to bring it back to it's former glory or I think it will close permanently.

Always been a good pub. Lots of happy memories Nostalgic beer house.

Bass and Guinness are spot on .

Current landlord is quite a character and makes everyone feel welcome

Having rediscovered The Jolly Potters last weekend, we had a short visit there last night. The landlord is hysterically funny, and made our evenings enjoyable. Really hope this pub returns to its former glory with regular visitors.

Very nice local pub, organised chaos is the best way to describe it. Nice fella behind the bar, very much back to basics which is what you want from a local pub

Had my big 60th birthday last week. Booking for 23 people for a evening meal on Friday. Could not fault the place. Great service, friendly staff. The meal was spot on. Couldn't fault anything. Family loved the place. Will defo be going back. Thank you so much for making us all welcome x

First time visit since it’s reopened. Lovely food, great atmosphere and so glad it’s 5 minutes walk from my home! Defo our new local! Doing a great job boys!!

The Jolly Potter has just recently re-opened after being closed for a couple of years, Mark and Ade are very friendly and professional so it makes it a lovely place to ho and visit, I will be visiting often 😊

new favourite for a cheeky drink and pool, nice gin selection and staff are all nice 💖 will be back! update: they gave out pizza to the pub and we are in shock, what a kind gesture.

The staff are extremely friendly, great at diffusing conflict and serve extremely quickly. The pub has plenty of social spaces and a large smoking area/beer garden, drinks are reasonably priced and footy is on the big screen, what more could you want?

Great little local pub. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Owners who will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and do so much for those who may need help. This pub is a little gem.

I went here once and from what I got from when I was there was very small bar space but staff were nice enough. The pool area is good. Although was taken over by unattended children mucking about and breaking pool cue and just being rude. The beer garden was nice actually and despite being busy it was actually quite big there and the event they were holding at the time which was the fireworks event was cheap however the food and hot drinks weren't worth the prices they were asking.

The good traditional local pub is a rare thing these days but the Jolly Potters keeps the flag flying! Great place and great people.

Most down to earth, welcoming and relaxed pub in Stoke on Trent. Worth a visit if you want to put your feet up and drink a nice draught ale (they also have plenty of choice for whiskey, gin and rum too)

You get to know people quickly in here because it's so tiny. However, the beer garden's huge and on different levels - great for a summer get together.

Lovely Landlady and Landlord brill atmosphere very friendly folk.

Big fan of this pub. Super friendly staff reasonable priced drinks and a general good atmosphere. It has a pool table and a great outdoor area located at the back. Highly recommended.

An ok selection of ales. Good gin selections for those that like that sort of thing. The key thing about this place is the beer garden which is a considerable size when you compare it to the size of the pub. The highlight is the outside bar and pizza oven!

We looked on the web for a pub that dogs can go into and children we had our 11 month old grandson with us and puppy. We was viewing a car so didn't know the area. It came up with this pub.The lady helped my husband with the drinks to the garden so very friendy and helpful.we had a bread roll with filling in.which was really nice. We sat in the garden which was also nice. If i lived in the area i would use this pub more. Very nice place.
