My best friend got two tickets for us to go to a christmas 90s bottomless brunch (supposedly by 'The Brunch Club' it definitely wasn't, I feel like that's got to be some copyright infringement?!) The moment we got there I knew it was going to be crap. Not one Christmas decoration in sight. Not even a basic Christmas tree. The only options for bottomless drinks were prosecco, mimosas (so prosecco and juice) or rum punch (rum and juice). Awful choice of drinks, left you dead gassy or sickly !! The "Breakfast burger" was a burger that had clearly been sat under a hot plate for ages with a luke warm fried egg chucked in and 6 chips on the side. Service was crap. Music and singers were alright. Then 30 mins before it ends (bare in mind the tickets said 2 hours and the menu said 1!!) They "run out" of booze, don't offer any substitutes when though there is plenty behind the bar. To summarise DONT GO HERE ! Brunch tickets were £45 each !!! I'm just glad someone else paid for ours otherwise I'd be pushing for a refund !!

Just been to a bottomless brunch here, drinks were supposed to be from 12.30-1.30 and we weren’t served our first bottomless drink until 1 pm. We were then told we couldn’t have any more Prosecco as it was ‘cooling’ and 1.30 had passed, aweful experience.

We went to the spice girls drag bottomless brunch and it was truly awful. We have been to bottomless brunches before and the drinks flow and everyone has a great time. At Jojo’s brunch club The bottomless drinks were from 12.30 to 13.30 - 1 hour. We never got a single bottle we had about two glasses each - our first glass at 13.00. I went to the bar and was told they had run out of Prosecco they would bring us some asap. I went again at 13.37 and was told that bottomless drinks had finished. The food was mediocre and cold. Why bother to pre order if you don’t serve it quickly and hot ? The DJ was ok The Drag queens were ok Two staff trying to serve food and drinks and failing and were also trying to man the bar One person dedicated to the bar who was rude and unprofessional. The bar fridges were empty and at one point they went to Tesco next door to buy more Prosecco and still ran out ! Tonight Josephine’s is better entertainment, better organised, keep your drinks flowing - by the bottle not the glass- better food and great drag artists. We paid £44 each (there were five of us so Over £200) and had two glasses of Prosecco each served with a side order of mediocre, cold food. My advice - don’t bother it’s not worth it.

Basically, the bottomless brunch is a rip off. You will be lucky to get served two drinks. Some of the staff are really nice and wasted in this establishment. Food is basic.

Similar to another review. First and last time. You only get 1 hour for the bottomless drinks in the smallest glasses they could get. Food also served in that hour. 1 server for the drink but as soon as the hour is up and charges apply for all drinks the other 4 servers reappeared. No manager available to talk to. What look liked the manager behind bar but said she wasn’t was throwing dirty looks to diners. Absolute rip off. Only good thing was the Dj and entertainment. Every table was complaining, never again

Our one night in Birmingham and we wanted something different. So glad we chose this place. The food was excellent. We ate every last morsel.

Disappointed on our last visit to be honest. First time visiting was JoJolapa in jewellery quarter and it was one of the best places we had been. Nowhere near the same standard.

Highly recommend this place. Outstanding service was second to none, Daisy and Bighan were amazing and so helpful and made our visit feel very welcoming. Thank you both!

We attended the 'Brunch in the buff' bottomless brunch in April 2022. We went to celebrate a special birthday with a large group. As we were going in a group we had all prebooked what we were eating which was fine but we were sent an alternative menu just a couple of days before. This second menu had a lot less options on it. We arrived around 11:40 after our journey and some of us needed the toilet. Our brunch was booked for 12 but the venue was open form 11:30. Upon going to the toilet there were four stalls. Only one of these four had a working lock. Then only one of the stalls had toilet paper. These stalls were not the same one, so you had to collect some toilet paper from the one stall and then go to the other stall to use one that locked. Then the hand dryers had not been turned on either, (as they worked when I later visited the toilet) and no paper towels were available so there was no way to dry our hands. Secondly, when we all arrived at the table we all ordered drinks. This was just prior to 12 o'clock. When the drinks arrived at the table we had been informed that we had to pay for the drinks as it was before 12. Had we known that prior to ordering them we would not have bothered and just waited the 10 minutes for them to be free. This should have been communicated clearer. After a little while the food started to come out. We were in the middle of room and the only way I can describe the food was awful. Every single persons plate had cold food (apart from the beans) and most concerningly the scrambled eggs were green. This put everyone off eating and we all hardly ate any food. Secondly, one member of the party asked for ketchup and after about 10 minutes the server came back and said they didn't have any. The toast was also barley cooked and the texture was awful. You could literally snap it in half. After this we asked to see the manager who came over and spoke to us. She said she would not have served our food if she had seen the green eggs which makes me question whether the food was sat on the side and not checked before getting served. As the food was cold and some had meat etc it also brings into question the safety of the food served too. As a form of sorry she said she would bring more drinks over, however it was a bottomless brunch so these drinks were not any form of compensation. She also said she could get us some shots, so we asked for sambuca as that is my sisters favorite. However, we were brought tequila shots which half of the table did not like. She also admitted herself that the breakfast was unacceptable. She did offer us a replacement however we said it had put us off and wouldn't want to eat anything else from there. She agreed that she would probably feel the same after seeing the eggs. Furthermore, the waiting staff were not very professional. We asked for prosecco and were not served it until about 20 minutes later. I do not drink and I asked for a mocktail. I waited about 10 minutes and then had to ask another member of staff to eventually get me my drink. I feel that the service should not be substandard just because I was not drinking alcohol especially when in the advert it says non alcoholic alternatives available and I paid the same price as everyone else. I had three or four mocktails and a couple of other members of the table ordered some too. However, we were all served the same one every time. Surely they could have made a variety of non alcoholic drinks like they had for the alcoholic one's. During the performances all the staff were behind the bar on their phone's taking photo's and video's. I do not have a problem with this but when we tried to get their attention to get some more drinks for the table during the performances we were ignored. I also feel that the set-up of the brunch, especially compared to others I have been to, was confusing. There were menu's on the table. which made it indicate that we could pick a drink and order them. But instead, there were jug's of all the drinks being brough to the table. For example there were four jug's of sangria brough to the table which were not touched. We left disappointed and hungry on what should have been a great event. Do not bother wasting your money.

Great venue, such a nice cosy little place. Excellent Nepalese food, so very tasty. Staff were friendly and very attentive. We even booked and went to the Saturday brunch special which was such an amazing experience for us all. We can't wait to do it all over again :)

I went there last week for a work colleagues reunion. It was seven of us and when we got there, the place looked nice inside and not too busy. There was maybe another big table like hours, who arrived before us and left soon after we arrived, and another two or three tables between 2-4 people. We were not served food until two and a half hours later, which was a big shame and is the main reason I can't rate higher my experience in this place. There was only one waiter and probably just one person in the kitchen, because it took very very long to serve us and it wasn't even that busy. I don't know if it's always like this, but it was disappointing. The food was good, but after 2'5 h I would have eaten anything. The waiter was nice, but he also realized about how deficient was the evening and how unhappy we were about it. I hope they improve the service in this place.

Amazing food and great cocktails, staff were lovely and attentive. A must if you are looking for authentic Nepalese food or just something different

My husband and myself visited Jojo Lounge for my husbands 50th birthday. The service was absolutely fantastic, the food looked and tasted beautiful and the cocktails were lovely.

Unbelievably awful service! Came for a leaving do, the waitress was extremely rude and the service was so slow we ended up leaving without our dessert as we hsd already been there for 3.5 hours. When we complained the only discount given was a removal if the service charge which amounted to £1.77 per person. The food we did get was lovely but the portions were small and didn't make up for the exceptionally poor customer service. I would not recommend this place and I won't be returning.

First and last time visiting! Unbelievably slow service...waited an hour and half for our main meals to come out after a wait for starters. Was then told they had no chicken ,asked for the manager to be told now they do have chicken....half the cocktails on the menu they didn't have....they kept bringing drinks over we didn't ask for...but after a disaster of night the food was really nice...just very small portion.. Be prepared for a long night!

Very disappointed. We waited more than 1 hour for the starters and 2 hours for the mains. The food was definitely not worth the wait. We paid £70 for two people and left hungry. I specified no coriander and ended up with loads of coriander in my main. They do not have an allergen menu, only a member of staff that knows the whole list apparently. Most tables complained about the wait, a table left. There less than 20 customers for 5 members of staff. The cocktails were good, and the staff nice.

I would have given you 0 stars but we couldn't, food was shocking but noone was interested one hoot ,we wont return !!

The food was amazing, and the service was quick (served by anya) and drinks tasted amazing (by Daisy and Niall). Definitely coming back, and worth the money and all staff were friendly :)

Very slow service and 10% optional gratuity already added to bill

Delicious food but small portions and took absolutely ages to come. Took over an hour for our starters to arrive. The place wasn’t even half full.

We had a meeting and dinner. Meeting Room is next door and up a strange tiny lift. Very unusual arrangement. We ordered food before the meeting. But nothing was ready when we returned to the restaurant. One of the party had to go without food. Food quality was ok. Restaurant was almost empty but still the wait for food was unacceptable.

Seemed more like a bar kind of vibe than a restaurant which is fine for a few drinks but not ideal for a sit down meal. The food was average at best. Food quite bland and dry. The pints were very decent though, cold and crisp which always goes a long way. Service was very friendly and staff were helpful. In summary would recommend for a drink but not for a meal.

Staff was very friendly. Manager called Nile. He was super friendly and customer service was excellent and also made lovely cocktails and Mocktail! Food was scrumptious.

Very bijoux environment, ambience was nice and the music kept us dancing all night. DJ Kenny Mac 60th Birthday surprise party went down a treat. Great night had all round. Looking forward to more regular events at this venue.

Overpriced bottomless brunch. Staff don't want to serve drinks. Drinks offered were very poor. Food was cold. Entertainment was shockingly bad.

Nice staff, decent prices, however they are rarely open. It's a bit crazy because I tried to visit twice in one week, a Tuesday and a Friday, and both times it was closed

We attended The Spice Girls bottomless brunch on 23rd April. We had a fab time even though they seemed understaffed & food was slow to come out We were kept re filled with cocktails & prosecco & the staff did everything they could to give us a fab time

Amazing 80s brunch, would definitely visit again !

If I could give 0 stars I would! Bottomless brunch was terrible, 6 people on our table equaling £300 to get a jug of juice, a small jug of sangria and having to hassle the bar to get a bottle of Prosecco on the table. The food was stone cold and inedible we complained 3 times in which they still brought out stone cold food, no one looked like they knew what they was doing, the table behind us a hen party didn’t even get any food till 2 hours in!

Atmospheric, mellow music, fine food #baliburgers and delicious drinks. Very recommended. Carla served us and looked after us very well.

Food was freezing cold and portion sizes were tiny, mushrooms were undercooked no butter for toast. Called a "bottomless brunch" but were told only 2 jugs per table which for a £45 ticket price is a joke. My friend is pregnant and asked for mocktails, she emailed days before asking if they could accommodate this and she was told this was completely fine. When she asked for mock tails she waited 30 minutes for her first drink which was just juice, to then receive an alcoholic jug. It was an 'ndubz' brunch and 5 ndubz songs were played. It was such an awful experience and £45 for a bottomless brunch is ridiculous.

Great venue friendly staff, great night had by all

Visited Birmingham to visit friends. Ate here last night for my birthday, food was superb as were the staff, would definitely go here again and will recommend to friends who are visiting Birmingham.

A very quiet place but amazing food, no need to book just pop in, very welcoming at the start. But eager to pay the bill quickly. But don't get that to put you off this is a great place to eat.

Tried to book here in advance and no tables showing available on open table, just looked back on the website, the day before and found that there were tables available, so booked. When we got there, there was a sign saying, no need to book. When we went in, the venue was very empty, another couple having a meal and what looked like a few people having drinks after work. We were greeted by a lady, who I think may have been the manager, she was very friendly and got us seated and drinks very quickly. Our waiter was quite eager to get our order sorted, not a problem at the start, but once we had finished our main course, he was straight there, wanting us to order desserts. We were just finishing our drinks, when the waiter came over and asked if we wanted anything else, we said we were fine and just the bill, would be fine, to which he pulled the bill from behind his back and was straight back with the card machine, not giving us chance to properly look through the bill, there is already a tip amount added on to the bill, so you feel pressured to keep the tip on, as it comes with a note saying "all tips are given straight to your server". They were setting up and moving tables around for an event the next day. Went to the toilet before we left, they are very much out the way, down a steep flight of stairs, along a corridor, then through a door, down another corridor, if I had known, I would probably have waited, till I got home, as didn't feel safe going all that way on my own.

Love this venue, been here many times The Food & Drink are great and so are the staff always really friendly!

Excellent cocktails, well worth the money. Nice atmosphere for a quieter drink. Puddings were lovely. Will be stopping in here for after work drinks in the future!

On Sunday 29th, a group of us came to Jojolounge Bar & Restaurant for our friends’ 26th Birthday. The staff were all absolutely brilliant; lovely, friendly & a lot of fun. The food was superb, such a great choice and the steak was cooked perfectly. We all had such a beautiful evening with our friends and the lovely staff really did put a cherry on top of the evening. We were able to do song requests and have all the music we wanted; played. We had a great dance around and the staff then sang happy birthday to our friend which was really beautiful. Thank you for such great hospitality, kindness, fun & goood food. It was a very special evening.

Great food, but need to upgrade DJ, had no playlist, needed to do a lot better if you want to attract customers

Food was good, but service was poor. We went for food and drinks on Saturday (before euro's Sunday). Staff were eager to close early but didn't mention this before we were seated at our table (we would have gone elsewhere). They proceeded to be pushy with giving us the bill when we had intentions of ordering more drinks. They turned off the lights and music and was generally passively trying to hint for us to leave. I found this was really rude as we were paying Customer's. I would like to say I don't blame them for wanting to close early, butbit is the way they went about it after taking our money. Its a shame as the food was decent but noway am I spending my money at this establishment.

Lovely bar and restaurant, our new local! The staff are friendly and attentive, they really go the extra mile to ensure you're having a great time! The food is absolutely delicious, highly recommend the fish and chips! Great vibes in here, good music and feels really chilled! Love it!

What a night ...out celebrating my 50th...booked into JoJo Lounge. Had no expectations but was pleasantly surprised.Ben and Jordan could not do enough for me and my group. Cocktails were amazing thank you guys. Loveoy clean and chilled out lounge, Will definitely be back again

This is the best place in Birmingham i have ever been to. Not only was the cocktails and food amazing, the service from all the staff was amazing! So friendly and seriously helpful. I have to give credit to jordan and ben that provided the most amazing service. I will definitely be coming back again.

Really good service, good selection of drinks

Lovely new cocktail bar with friendly staff. They do all classic cocktails even if some weren't on the menu. Was able to get a space on a Saturday night because people don't know it yet and it's just a few minutes from new street.

We came across this place simply walking around and seeing the sign for "2 for £14 cocktails" on Saturday. The cocktails were really good, we tried all 3 of their specials. The place itself is very crisp and clean, clearly very new. The only reason I've given 4 stars is because later on in the evening a bad smell of sewage was coming from the toilets. I assume this is just teething problems that comes with owning a new place and this shouldn't put anyone off going.
