Johns Fast Food in Sandwell

I went here and ordered some chicken and chips but the chips were uncooked and as if boiled also after biting into the chicken I realised I messed up as it was raw and pink I tried eating more but this made me feel like throwing up later however I did and violently vomited everywhere and had food poisoning and had extremely bad diahoreaa for 2 weeks after eating this wouldn't recommend probably won't go again. Staff was friendly though however that doesn't make up for this sickening and disgusting food.

Chips was hardly cooked. Lovely member of staff. But wasn't able to really eat the chips.

Tasty kebab and chips here fish is decent too really friendly member of staff served me will come back when back in area.

the kids enjoyed the food an the chicken and chips tasted good today becouse it was fresh so Alhamduillah.

Can’t go wrong after a long day at work. Tell them exactly what you want and they’ll make it fresh in front of you. Great service, family businesses I’ve been told and good value for money. Can’t fault them, I’d definitely recommend them.

Uncooked food Tried again today after 1 year and part of the food was extremely dry and the other part very uncooked, they do they're best to be nice to you but the high price will never gonna reflect the poor quality.

prob the worse fish and chips I've ever tasted the chips were greasy loads of green and black eyes on the chips the fish had soggy batter same as the nuggets only thing good about this order was the cold cans of pop will not be using them again terrible quality I've had to reorder from a better chippy id would avoid being honest

Best fish and chips , traditional style. Ask for special pizza they make it the best. The best thing about them they always SMILE!! & they make everyone happy !! Instead of going to a Restraunt and sitting down I eat there standing and watching them serving making people happy. Love love love !

Don’t know why people give bad reviews on this place, me and my brother come down every Saturday for football day, the kebab and chicken tikka is unreal. Burgers are really good :) definitely recommended

Good prices & decent portions. Doner meat inside the naan better quality than alot of other places these days! However, Naan bread itself bit disappointing as thought it would be fresh hand made type not out of packet. The SF chicken was strangely tough & hard to break & arrived lukewarm with little southern fried coating over it. I couldn't eat that & it was thrown away. Chips just about warm but OK to eat. As chips don't take long to cook you should aim to fry them freshly as driver arrives to collect order. Delivery guy polite but didn't follow CONTACT FREE delivery as I had requested. Overall a few minor changes would make this from OK to EXCELLENT 👍

On my way back from work i popped in this chippy because I felt a bit peckish. It looked a decent chip shop with Indian food available. Until i tasted the chips not only they was very greasy. The chips were grimy looking and they tasted awful. Its one chippy I'll be avoiding in future.

Very bad quality foods. Wasted my money in this cheap store. Staffs don't have any leaflet and instructed me to browser the menu on board instead where the pricings are confusing. I bought chicken and chips today where chicken is too salty and coating was really bad and chicken tasted like rubber as hard as it was. Chips was too soggy to even hold and oil was dripping out of them. I have not received any additionalonal sauces with them which was frustrating. My friend had chip and he had thrown away most of his food even though fish was little bit better. Really disappointing and disgusting experience and people should avoid purchasing from this store and wasting their money on them.

Kebab made me sick 2 weeks ago, chips are ok but very greasy and soaked the chip paper in oil. Not much choice in oldbury unfortunately else would deffo go elsewhere as it's not the cleanest on the eye when you look around at surfaces and under sides etc. The fish is nice from there and salad is always fresh nice blokes and seem friendly

Have been using Johns for 12 years now, and always have been the best fast food take away we have ever used. Place is very well run, food always spot on, very good value for the price, very friendly staff. If you want poncy named, cooked in the finest whatever the fashion expensive oil take away go elsewhere, if you want good quality, well cooked, well managed take away fast food, go to Johns in Oldbury.
