Premier Inn West Bromwich Town Centre (New Square) hotel in Sandwell

Needs alot of seat replacements as the leather rips could cause injury. The loos smell too. Otherwise cool place to watch Canadian demos from.

Good restaurant Windows don't open in rooms so it gets hot. There do have Aircon but you can hear it

We have just returned back to Manchester after a 1-night stay in West Bromwich for family funeral. Firstly, Leanne on reception was so warm and welcoming, we really appreciated her being so accommodating to us. The rooms were very clean, modern and cozy beds! We had a lovely breakfast too in the morning.

Decent room and bath, kind and respectful services, good food. Location feels so secured and so great for visitors like me who like visiting the shops, just a walk away. I will visit again if coming to the area. Won't look for a second place.

Was pleasantly surprised with my stay here after being disappointed by so many other Premier Inns in the last 5 years. It's a fairly new hotel, so the room was quite modern in terms of mod cons. It was clean, the bed was comfortable enough for a great sleep, and the shower had decent pressure. The location is great, right by the main high street and shopping centres. There's a big Tesco within a minute or two's walk, and a petrol station right next door to the hotel. Initial impressions had been worrying as a curtain rail fell off when I went to look out of the window, and the front panel fell off the fitting where I inserted my room key to keep the lights on. These were both easily clipped back on though. The lady on the front desk was very helpful and friendly when I checked in. I'm quite happy I had a good experience, as I live fairly nearby and was just staying here to relax away from the family for a night, so I'm likely to return again. I have to add, I didn't eat at the adjoined restaurant this time, but I have been there many times before, and it's gradually gone downhill. I also didn't use the car park as I was dropped off and picked up nearby.

The location for me is perfect for the purpose of my visit to West Bromwich. The staff are welcoming and friendly. You can always rely on the standards of the rooms.

My concerns are the lifts wasn't working when we returned this evening also no windows that open in our room , what if there was a fire ? We are on the 3rd floor not impressed it's mad me quite anxious staying here with my 14 year old daughter.

It was the first time we visited this premier in and it was the best stay ever I've stayed in many premier in but I cud never get a good night sleep I wud be tossing and turning and cudnt sleep but this 1 was different the bed was amazin we r due 2 visit next mnth 4 2 night we r going xmas shopping carnt wait plus we will have family with us this time the staff cudnt be more friendly the service was excellent

First time staying at a Premier Inn. Booked for 2 nights midweek. First night was terrible, the bed felt old and saggy, very uncomfortable. I was itching throughout the night and woke up with bed bugs bites on my chest and legs. Told reception who gave us a different room for the 2nd night. Bed was much better and I actually slept well, no further bites either. Despite apologies, the customer relations department are now denying they have bed bugs and refuse to refund me. Nothing even mentioned about the terrible bed itself. This goodnight guarantee promise is one big lie. I logged a further complaint and was given the same answer. I showed the receptionist the bite in my chest when it happened. It was obviously from a bed bug. I wouldn't stay at a Premier Inn again. Poor customer relations and they essentially called me a liar. Disgusted.

Do not know about the rooms, as I went there for a meal only.

Arrived early to book, not a problem even though it was midweek. Room was clean and tidy. Only issue was the filling of holes that looked like they were caused by heel or something else sharp being thrown at the ceiling. Filled but not sanded or painted. What was going on in this room????. Food was reasonably priced, breakfast was good even if the bacon was a bit on the thin side. All in all I would like to recommend this Premier Inn.

Was one of the best experiences of staying over. has a Tesco, JD, H&M Warren James, Claires and many more stores opposite!!!! We had a breakfast buffet and the staff, service was absolutely amazing.the rooms were really clean would definitely stay there again.

It is what it is,it's a premier inn and you know what you get! A few minor gripes on this visit (difficulty getting room serviced) but all in all a nice stay!
