The King Arthur Sports Bar & Grill (Function Rm) in Sandwell

Our daughter's and grandchildren's food arrived but mine and my wife's didn't. Seemed a bit strange. The family on the next table went to the bar and said the food delivered to their table wasn't what they had ordered. We then realised our food had been delivered to their table. The waiter came over and picked up the food from their table and placed it onto ours despite being sitting there going cold for at least 5 minutes. I told him I didn't want it and wanted fresh food as it was cold and unhygienic as it had been left on another table. Our food came less than 10 mins later. Was a bit well done and we believe it to be the same food warmed up.

Myself and hubby go to King Arthur (West Brom)at least once a week. So last Sunday 19th January myself, hubby, daughter, son in law and grandchildren went to King Arthur for food, and the service was terrible, first our food was sent to the wrong table, then bought to us when they was told by the Family sitting there that the food was not what they had ordered, the waiter then bought it to us, we refused it as it had be on the other table for at least 5 minutes going cold, the food was taken away, more food was then bought back to us about 5 minutes later, we suspected it had been rewarmed. Fast forward a week Sunday 26th January myself, hubby, Sister in law and brother in law decided to go there for lunch, my hubby went and sat in a booth, while I stood in the queue, when it was time for me to place my order the woman behind the counter asked where we was sitting, I told her and she asked how many there was of us, i told them 4 Adults, I was then told that the booths were for 6 people only, never been a problem before, 10 minutes later a family of 8 walked in, while I was still at the bar the woman said to a guy who also worked there, this lady's husband is sitting in a booth, n there going to be four if them he asked if we could move to a table situated at the back for 4 people, we was asked to sit somewhere else to accommodate the family who walked in after us, but there was no where for us to sit, because when my hubby looked there was not an empty table behind him, because there was coats on the backs of the chairs, the guy behind the counter then said that is why there is a sign there stating wait here to be seated, I then said we've never had to wait there before, I then called my hubby and told him we would not be eating there n that they had lost a £60 order, to say i was not best pleased was an understatement,

EVEN WITH 50% OFF. DONT GO. 😔 WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID!!! We have just walked out of this pub due to the very rude bar man. We sat down as there was a queue so we waited for this to get smaller. Then when we were ordering our food and drinks we were asked to move from our booth to a smaller table. With more than 40 mins left for the kitchen to close he rushed us to order so we just walked out. For the sake of a few pounds go anywhere else than here unless they get new bar staff. The Perfect Place for a Dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that you can eat deliciously and plentifully for just £30 for two. The food was served just 5 minutes after placing the order! The staff are polite, friendly, and work very efficiently. The place is clean, cozy, and the food is truly tasty. If you value a combination of quality, speed, and price, this spot is perfect for you. Highly recommend!

The chips was cold by the time the food got to us very disappointing

Dropped in after having to battle great bridge retail park a few days before Christmas. Absolutely superb. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Massive screens showing the football and even a screen above the bar showing the horse racing. Great value and a great place. Will be back soon!!

Had a lovely birthday meal for my eldest niece. I’m not usually a fan of this type of food, so I stuck to drinks, but the rest of the family seemed to really enjoy their meals. It wasn’t until I looked at the menu afterward that I noticed how affordable the prices are—about half the cost of similar places. Despite being busy, as you’d expect on a Friday, the service was quick. Definitely a great spot to return for a relaxed outing or just drinks.

Good value and great flavours in their mixed grill. Open late Sunday evening around 8pm when came back of the motorway hungry. Definitely recommend

It’s run down needs a clean the chicken was scraps of something never witnessed before. It was cheap but still not worth getting food poisoning avoid it unless your a local which I certainly am not .

Absolutely amazing food, every time we come here

Went on a Friday (West Brom), having been told over phone that we could not reserve a table for 4ppl and it was walk in only. The car park was small, but manage to get the last spot at 5pm. Upon entering, there was a nice looking function room, restaurant side and bar side. We sat in the bar side. It initially looked good with 4 dart boards, pool table, very large screen. When drinks were bought the young man put the money on the counter, rather than giving in the hand; rather ignorant. The drinks were fine. We ordered the food at the bar, as pictured. ( kid) The fish fingers were tiny and over cook, with floppy fries. The Keena Naan was rather small. The portion of side chips was very small, the bucket was stuffed with paper, taking away the volume of chips, they were cheap looking and floppy. The lamb Rogan Josh ( chosen to compare to another where it was rated 5/5) was a small portion, not worth sharing, only had 7 bits of lamb in it, and was just a lot of sauce. The pub was not packed, yet the man clearing the tables was quickly taking things away, my kid had not finished his soft drink, and I was picking at the food. But he took away. Thus not impressed, will not be going back

I had simple request for Khushal. I told him I had a group of 14 and I needed a table. He made sure there was seating available. And the food was great and I ate quite a lot. We all had a lovely time. And we are definitely going back. Cannot beat the price you pay for food there.

Was feeling hungry while out and about drove past and decided to go back and try it out from the outside it looked a little run down. I then went inside and it was quite busy. The lady who served me was lovely and it was actually much cheaper than I thought it wouldve been tbh. The food itself was really nice. I had chicken tikka masala boiled Rice n naan bread for the price was really good value with a drink, just over £10

Quite a few in at 5.30 ordered at the bar , medium mix grill, paneer curry naan masala fries £ 13. Food came out after 10 minutes, and I couldn't find fault, hot fresh and tasty. Place was clean and you could see into the kitchen . What's not to like, will be going again.

They charge you to take your leftover food home. They will make you wait 2 hours. The food is flavourless and barely edible. The owner will tell you to go to McDonald's if you raise any complaints. Will never visit again.

The King Arthur is a hidden gem. They still have 50% off their food - eat out to help out which makes the food very affordable. But not only that but there curries are tasty. I would not recommend the mixed grill as I’ve had better elsewhere . But the curries , rice and naans I have not found better elsewhere for the price. The chilli prawn starter is also delicious and has a nice kick .

Ordered large mixed grill, chicken tikka was dry, lamb chops dry. Pub can't fault but first taste of food was not good at all, I would not eat here again.

Please dont order from here. Paid for large grill. Got small or medium watever. It was not large at all. We eat grills kinda every week. Onions were loaded and kinda few chunks of meat.

12 os us went to celebrate my partners 40th Birthday. We spent in excess of £250 on food and drink. After around 1 and a half hours, we were approached by a member of staff telling us that management wanted us to leave as there were people waiting to eat. We still had full glasses of drinks on the table. On exiting I spoke a staff member behind the bar who stood there and smirked at me telling me that tables can only be sat at for an hour anyway!!?? We will not be returning.

First visit today, tons of people standing outside smoking. We walked into the restaurant and had to queue by the bar as had to wait to be seated. There was a party going on in room adjacent to restaurant, loud music. Main restaurant had the tv blaring with xmas music, filthy dirty carpets, tables were unwiped. No menus available. Soft drink was like water. We ordered paphars but they were bought out after our main meal ! On top the paphar were stale. Food was horrible and the extremely loud tv volume was uncalled for. The bar is really ugly too. The whole place is outdated.

Thought we’d give here a try but honestly, the worst place. Staff were extremely rude. Music in room was so loud we was shouting at each other. Food is half price because the food ain’t nice. Poppadoms came out uncooked. Don’t recommend at all. Was just an awful awful experience. Lots of other bad reasons, it was just awful

You cannot go wrong with this place. We arrived as a big group and couldn’t get a table for us all straight away, but this was dealt with quickly by the amazing staff and sorted in no time. The food is unreal, the service was unreal and the price was unreal. Everything about this place is great and I would recommend anyone to give it a go. Khushar is a good man and does his very best to ensure you are catered for at all times.

Came here on Tuesday with 4 friends, sat at a table and asked waiter if he would clean it as there was rice on it he said move to another table 😡 The mixed grill came and I can tell you it was so bland and tasteless was actually disappointed, only got 1 little sauce not enough for 5 people. Wouldn't come again even with 50% off.
