Chickaros West Bromwich in Sandwell

Lovely atmosphere, nice food. Clean and spacious restaurant. We were there with two toddlers and the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the waitress named Daisy, she went out of her way to accommodate for the kids. We will definitely visit there next time we're in West Bromwich.

First time I got to this restaurant, "CHIKAROS" IN west Bromwich high street. I thought it was amazing but still need to be sure if it wasn't a flukes. So I came here today to try their meal on the same lamb stakes I had before "Oh my God, it was fantastic " I had to crush the bones as usual. The rice texture was well flavoured and seasoning and the stakes was heaven 😋. I shall be here again for sure 👍 probably every week to be precise. "CHICKAROS" nice one 👍

Dined here a couple times and always greeted by a lovely member of staff called Daisy with a friendly and smiley approach. She has knowledge about the menus and recommendations are on point. The food is excellent - i extremely enjoy the lamb chops they are cooked to perfection. Prices are extremely affordable and food portion is massive. Chickaroos keep it up, you will be seeing us again !

This was my second visit to the restaurant. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. Although it was a bit pricey, the excellent taste and ample portions made up for it. I would have gladly given a five-star rating if only the restaurant accepted card payments.

West Brom Chickaros is always a go-to spot for a fantastic meal. The service is always top-notch during my visits with Daisy providing excellent attention throughout the meal. She was friendly, polite, and made sure everything was just right. As for the food, it was amazing as usual. I always opt for the classic chicken parmesan, and it never disappoints—crispy, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. We also got the Matilda cake- warm with ice cream, very nice but sickly, defo one to share! Overall, the combination of great food and attentive service makes every visit worthwhile. Highly recommend!

Amazing place to buy tyres for your car. Very good quality rubber to be picked up! They sell Dunlop Sirloin. Service is good and staff are very politce and accommodating. Unfortunately, this is where it ends. Ordered a medium rare steak. Very chewy, dry, and lacked flavour to the meat. Mushroom sauce was very nice but limited to a small amount. It's good for fusion food such as loaded chips, etc, but a steak is a no.

During a recent visit to Chickaros in West Bromwich, I enjoyed some of the best food I've had in quite some time. Our party of 14 gathered to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was truly memorable. The team went out of their way to ensure our celebration was special, even playing birthday music as they brought out the cake—an appreciated gesture. The customer service was amazing—attentive, genuinely friendly, and warm. Our server, Jahed, was particularly exceptional, demonstrating outstanding communication skills. His warm and friendly demeanour made us feel thoroughly welcomed and well-cared for. In the kitchen, Luqman’s infectious sense of humour added to the jovial atmosphere. We indulged in two splendid platters—the 'Texas Loaded' and the 'Steak Platter', both of which were presented beautifully. The portion sizes were generous, more than ample to satisfy our group. The 'Baruchi Keema' was another standout dish enjoyed by everyone for its rich flavours. Overall, the food was simply divine, both in taste and presentation. Coupled with the stunning service and a great price, Chickaros comes highly recommended. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just in the mood for an exceptional meal, this restaurant is sure to impress.

Me and my friend came here for dinner we ordered a mocktail and lamb chops. The mocktail wasn’t bad but it was very sugary had to dilute it with water to be able to drink it. The food wasn’t the best , the lamp chops were quite hard to chew and the fries tasted like fries that had been overcooked in oil very very crunchy as per my personal experience I wouldn’t go there for another meal.

Great food, good decor, excellent service. It was quite busy, but we got seated straight away. Nice and clean place. Lovely ambience food was fresh and tasty. We went on Mother's Day, and I was given a free mocktail for mothers Day, which was a lovely surprise. Overall a great experience will be reccomend to others.

Terrible cold overpriced dry food smothered in sickly sauce. I feel sick after eating here. They don't even serve tap water. The only thing decent about this place is the decor. Best to avoid.

Came down with Relatives from USA, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves at Westbrom Chilakaros. Breakfast wast brilliant & the service by Nancy was top notch too. Already looking forward to next breakfast at Chikaros.

If I can give 0 stars I would .I went in today and main staff guy was really rude to Another staff (girl in hijab) in front of a lot of customers this isn’t how someone should be treated if your own staff are being treated like that how can anyone expect good service as a customer … food was rubbery and not worth the price. Ladypool rd branch is better than this from the service - food and welcoming atmosphere between customers and staff themselves . Please look into this - work place bullying and degrading of waiters shouldn’t be happening regardless if your some ‘team leader’ there really felt sorry for the girl and hope she finds another job !

Atmosphere was lively, but not obnoxiously loud. Staff were kind and attentive. The burger was good, albeit a bit small. The chips were too filling. I don't think I was able to finish them all.

Everyone but the one guy that says “it’s separate” when I ask for no salad is great To the guy that says “it’s separate” please learn people have disability’s and can’t have it touching there food Apart from that the foods great and everyone else is friendly really recommend the milkshakes

Lovely staff here, they were all very welcoming and accommodating. The food was really good, can never go wrong with a munch at chickaros, so many options to choose from!! Bonus points for the carpark right around the corner!

I have been wanting to try this place out for a year. Finally i was able to come. I ordered lamb chop bhuna, the chicken breast burger. Mac and cheese. The lamb was so hard it was a real fight/struggle to eat/chew no flavour and tasted boiled. . The bhuna was just at the bottom of the bowl no cutlery or spoon to scoop or serve. The chicken breast burger was so dry and plain no flavour and cold.. its by far the worst place i have been to. No taste. I wouldn't even pay £5 for this food. Its just totally not worth it. Charged me for dips not used. However the mac and cheese was good. Normal Chicken shop is better. Your better of going there wont be as bad. To think i drove from far for this.. dont fall for the social media..

Enjoyed the food but a little pricey. Nice deserts. Next doors booming beats were unusual, drowning out the Chickaros tunes. If I'm honest, the area felt a bit rough outside when we left. Staff were lovely but didn't take card payment which is poor.

Value for money! We were hungry after a long day of travelling and ended up at this delicious restaurant. The food portions were big and worth the price. The steaks were perfectly cooked and had plenty of sides that complemented the dish amazingly. The dynamite prawns were crunchy just the way I like. Flavours are spot on! I was so full couldn’t finish the dish. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Quite busy as well.
