What a great experience, Frankie and Chris certainly know what they are doing and the recommendations were spot on especially as my wife is Gluten Free, Outstanding. Thank you guys and will definitely be back very soon. keep up the good work.

Going to cinema so a good place for a quick meal. Plenty of space to sit at the bench tables inside. The pizza bases were crispy. Had the meat feast and beetroot pesta and goats cheese between us. Staff very friendly. Will certainly visit again.

Chicken Shish, Margarita w/ xtra cheese and Chicken Tikka pizzas....all AWESOME! The folks were very friendly. Overall, it was an excellent meal and evening.

We came to johnnny doughs for my 6 year old son’s birthday! Nicole was fantastic with the kids and so patient with us all! She had a great idea of setting up colouring to occupy them and all the kids loved making their own pizza!

Ordered 5 pizzas online for collection, ranging from vegan to traditional to chicken tikka. Our order was ready on time and all pizzas were well prepared, cooked to perfection, and thoroughly enjoyed. Pleasantly surprised to get take-out pizza of such high quality, would definitely recommend!

Interesting and delicious pizza all on thin crust suitable. I had beetroot and goats cheese with mozzarella and tomato’s. He had BBQ chicken with peppers. Both really tasty. Served in a box along with a side salad in a box. The restaurant is mainly for takeaways, but they do have a few causal benches to sit at. Great to watch them making the pizzas. Nice choice of drinks. The lady serving was fun and friendly despite being so busy. Loved it for a casual meal.

We’ve eaten many pizzas from here, usually I collect but occasionally we’ll opt for delivery. Wether we have delivery or pick up, the quality is consistent and always delicious. It’s nice to get pizzas which are very flavoursome and have unique toppings. The beetroot pesto/goats cheese is a personal favourite and we also love the sheep roll.

Great, little intimate place to come with a friend or lover. The pizza is too drawer with classics on offer as well as some unique flavours, their Peking duck pizza is amazing.

The amazing pizza 🍕 and good service. I was visiting town and almost gone for a pizza chain pizza. However the price of pizza is same as high street pizza and quality is 500 times better. I have both veggie options kids and five beans fajita chilli. Both pizza great, the guy missed side of Rocket at first however considering quality I still give 5 Star

We've been regulars at Llandudno for years. Booked Colwyn Bay because we were camping nearby & didn't realise that it's mainly for takeaways, so we felt like we were sitting in our local pizza takeout rather than a restaurant. Fab building & location (old butchers shop?) but we were sat amongst piles of pizza boxes. Good pizza (not quite as good as Llandudno, no whole prawn or coriander on the chorizo prawn pizza) and lovely friendly staff. Spotlessly clean everywhere. My mistake for not understanding what I was booking!

One of the best pizzas we ever tasted. We had the duck and the fajitas. It was so perfectly made, the base was so tasty and perfectly made for the toppings. Even the Garlic bread redefined itself. Excellent work.

You need to improve your website. Had problems twice now! Ordered, paid and had confirmation with estimated delivery time . Been waiting over 2 hours then called up and you've had no information about our order! Really good pizza but won't be ordering from you guys again with all this faff from your website. Warning for anyone ordering.. call up or go eat in the restaurant!

Just returned from a visit here, we tried unsuccessfully to get into Johnny Doughs in Llandudno but it was busy....on return to Conway we popped into Johnny Doughs junior, although small we were happily shown to our table.......I had the meat feast my wife had the farmhouse, both were very tasty, very thin crust and plenty of toppings. Would definitely go again.

Fast delivery, great pizza and even better customer service. Delivery man (who has a beard to narrow it down) was great. First time here but would definitely recommend.

If you’re staying locally and want takeaway pizza, go here not Domino’s. Really nice, interesting pizzas and the house slaw is delicious.

Terrible service. We ordered a meal at about 8 that was due by 9. The restaurant showed as shut from 9 too. After 9.30, we ended up having to order another meal. The food was then surprisingly delivered after 9.40. Lovely pizza,so not a bad word about the quality. Just really let down by late delivery and terrible communication. We now have two orders as a result, so 60 quid to feed two people. I'd sooner have gone out for the night out. Please be more timely or just improve your communication!!

Excellent, well-priced pizza. Takeaway or eat-in. Cracking range on the menu. I’ve tried them all and particularly love the Mussels Mariniere. Local beers available too.

Nice little pizza restaurant. Some strange topping combinations. Some work, some don't . Not sure about the extra spicy option as the sauce is a bit strange.

We found this place by chance as we were stopping in the local Travelodge which didn’t serve food. We arrived about 8.10pm on Saturday evening (restaurant shuts at 9pm) and were the only customers (a large group had just left). The welcome from the staff was warm and friendly with the team members chatty and helpful when it came to menu choices. We selected two meat feast pizzas and the staff were flexible on adding / removing toppings to our requirements. The premises are licenced so we had local lager as well. Service was quick and efficient and the pizzas were delicious. A toilet was available on the premises and everything was clean and hygienic with the centrepiece of the restaurant being a wood fired pizza oven. Definitely recommended and would come again if in the local area.

Being coeliac it's hard to find gluten free and something nice but the pizza here is amazing gluten free and I hear off the kids the normal one is too. So so good 👍

Quite probably the best pizzas we’ve ever tasted. Good menu with interesting and new choices. Plenty of vegetation and vegan options plus nearly all the selections come with a gluten free option - brilliant and not often you see in a pizza place. Mine was a fajita pizza complete with Mexican beans, guacamole and hot sauce - a first and very tasty. My partner’s was with a gluten free base and excellent. Good choice of beers and wine all at reasonable prices. Staff service was first class and the setting was friendly and rustic. A must if you are anywhere near Conwy, indeed anywhere in North Wales.

Incredible pizzas, friendly staff, accommodated us just before closing on a Sunday

We used to eat at the Llandudno branch on every visit until things changed...smaller portions, little toppings, less care in the making/cooking. We visited this new branch late afternoon on a Tuesday and were the only people eating in. Surely, the food has got be good ? At the very least, no mistakes ? The children's pizza's were variable with one over cooked and dry ( pizza hut quality at best ) and the adult pizza was torn with very little topping. We were told in LLandudno that they now cut the olives in half . What we do not understand is why the kids pizza is bigger than the adult size ?!? We were given complimentary garlic bread although we did not complain but we would prefer better quality than any freebie. The pizza is expensive and does not warrant the price. We would not eat here again or recommend.

Excellent thin crust pizza. We both had the pepperoni and specified extra spicy. What we got was perfect. Seriously, we couldn't fault it, nor could we think of any way it could be improved. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely pizza and service very quick, only thing I would say is please explain to customers about the menu dont just walk off and then say the menu is on the board with you back towards us. My daughter saw a little boy making his own pizza up and got very excited that she could make her own up...unfortunately this wasn't the case when ordering the kids pizza. Would of love to of been given the option as we thought that was what the kids pizza entailed. Would definitely return as the pizzas were lush 👌

Excellent, although a touch put out by having cheddar on a margarita pizza, a very odd idea. Thank you for your reply, Only this Brit, married as he is to an Italian, likes (even expects), the authentic to the constructed. Otherwise the base of the pizza was one of the best I have had outside of Italy.

Wicked wood fired pizza with decent beers

By far the best Gluten Free pizza I've ever had. Great service and friendly staff. Keep doing what you're doing! Nice having somewhere in town to rely on for quality pizza.

Amazing first time eating here! Food was so delicious and I definitely think I'll be going back many more times. I liked the fact they had groovy music playing and the atmosphere of sitting in was so lovely & nice! If your debating to go I definitely would suggest it!!

Had a lovely pizza from here the other night , ate in . Service was excellent all washed down with a nice cold beer. Really nice to have this in Colwyn Bay .

I must have been to JDs at least 20 times by now and visited all locations! 10/10 vegan pizza, nice drink selection, awesome staff and chill vibes.

Friendly staff, excellent music, imaginative menu, warm and inviting. Really enjoyed it and especially the £6 February deal which meant enjoying sides and drinks for the same price as just pizza normally. Thank you :)

Contrary to what it says here, Colwyn Bay place is not open Mondays. Also no indication on restaurant window.that it's closed Mondays. Get your act together. Your answer is nonsense. Nothing to do with covid. It says on Google here you are open now. I am in Colwyn on holiday and I am disabled. A wasted journey tried my patience.

Fantastic pizzas 🍕 Much better than domino's

Great to see the refurbished butchers shop but you are here to read about the pizzas! The pizzas are very good, thin, and hot hot wood fired crispy. A special shout out to the chicken tikka pizza. The mint yogurt and mango all add zig-ah-zig-ah to the pizza but the cashew nuts take it up to level 11! The change in texture... The crunch! Big nom nom nom Beer too! 🍺

Great choice of pizzas with a variety of toppings and full of flavour! Would highly recommend the Mediterranean vegetables and Chicken Tikka one.

Just ordered now from the Colwyn Bay branch and although the food tasted really good, unfortunately my cousin found a small, light brown stone when he bit into his salad and we ordered extra olives for one of the pizzas that we never got. Tried to find the number to inform them but can’t find the number for the Colwyn Bay branch. Sadly won’t be ordering from the Colwyn Bay branch anymore.

Having eaten at the one in Conwy and Llandudno, thought that given that the kitchen cannot be used due to the electrician being in we decided to get pizza. Ordered 3 pizzas (2nd June) and when it came time collect the order wasn’t ready. Not due to a massive rush, quite the opposite, it was empty. The staff member said that they hadn’t seen the order. Finally found the order and were not that apologetic. Rushed the order and resulting pizzas tepid, warm at best. Won’t be going there again.

Good food, friendly staff, the prices aren't bad, and it's great to see some vegan options available, too! I removed one star because the quality of the food was notably better at one of their other, nearby branches (in Llandudno) which we also ordered take away from (almost the exact same order), that's close enough that it's worth going there instead, for the better experience.

High reccomneded! Best pizza I've had in a very long time. The base was thin, crispy in the right places, nice toppings and the wood fire oven adds so much to the taste And texture. Also very friendly for gluten-free and lacto-free folks, the staff member I spoke to was very caring (and friendly) in making sure everything on my fiance's pizza was safe. It was very reasonably priced when compared to more well known pizza places.

Must be our 4th takeaway from Johnny Doughs! Superb, authentic and fresh pizzas every time. So happy you’ve opened in the bay. We will be regular customers the pizza is AWESOME ❤️❤️
