Johnny Dough's in Conwy

Came here without a booking with some friends on the 21st October. We were met and informed that there would be wait as lack of staff that night, which was totally fine for us. We sat had some nibbles and some wine. Good selection of wine. The pizza arrived 35mins later which really wasnt that much of a wait especially for how good it tasted, I had the chorizo and prawn, delicious. The staff that were working that day were amazing. Youngish girl who was the supervisor and a young lad who were smiling, happy and attentive,a nd even when they had to deal with some awkward Karen type of customer. They delat with here superbly. Excellent visit, would come again although it is due to shut soon :( Hopefully they could make a take-away Jonny doughs in Rhos.

Great pizza. Lovely thin base and tasty toppings. Service was good. Very quiet so not much atmosphere. Well worth a visit

Used to be my go to pizza place as had great gluten free options and for a good price. However now whenever I phone up they never seem to have gluten free bases in stock. My other options are dominos which is extremely expensive and pizza hut in Llandudno.

I’m sorry that I didn’t catch our server’s name but absolutely amazing customer service! The server was working on his own tonight, with birthday parties, large groups and lots of walk ins all arriving at once and yet our service didn’t falter at all! Despite having to wait a bit longer, the server was very attentive and positive and our food was definitely worth the wait! My little sister even went as far as saying this is the pizza that all other pizza’s will now be judged against!

Never been here before but would definitely recommend it.

Booked a table at Rhos on sea for my husbands birthday. when we for there,no table, no idea we were coming ,several uncleared tables and an air of chaos. Then told there were no GF pizzas which was a key feature of their advertising and still on the menu board. Complained via email but no response. I am a local so will definitely not be recommending to friends and neighbours.

The pizzas at Johnny Doughs really are the best you can get and knock spots off any other pizza restaurants. The chef who was on that day did an amazing job as my wife didn't want too much tomato sauce on the base and this was exactly how it was made. If you want a stodgy, thick, greasy pizza then this is not the place for you. However, if you want a delicious, thin base, hand made authentic pizza then you really can't get any better than Johnny Doughs.

Waited 15 minutes before bein asked for drinks, ordered the food at the same time. 1/2 an hor later 4 Pizzas came. Another ten minutes for the other 2. No coleslaw, but didnt bother to tell us until we had asked 3 times where it was. Shkcking customer service. The Pzzas were spot on though.

Very nice venue. Pizza menu different and very tasty. Pricy but if whole experience including service had been excellent then no problem. Unfortunately service lacking. Pizzas arrived few minutes before cutters so going cold. No napkins; asked, then had to ask a second time and arrived after we’d eaten. 2nd drink ordered never arrived. No coffee available so we were done in an hour. Shame.

Their Chicken Shish and Chicken Tikka pizzas are to die for! They used to ha e a Welsh Lamb Shish pizza, but must have changed their supplier because it then became just "Lamb Shish" and was slices of Lamb rather than the chunks and also wasn't as amazing as before (so.I.switched to Chicken).

Great food and atmosphere, service can at times be a little slow.

Awesome Pizza restaurant and take away. Fabulous food, welcoming staff and very clean. I’ve attached a photo of my chosen pizza (chorizo, prawns & chillies) as well as the menu so you can see the options which are not your usual 👍👍👍👍. My friends habits had the sheep shish kebab which they both enjoyed thoroughly.

Very enjoyable service was quick would recommend.

Ordered online for collection payment taken and when going to pick up it was closed

Fantastic food, one of the best Pizzas we've had in a long time, sheep shish kebab is absolutely out of this world!! Amazing profiteroles and delicious local ice cream for dessert.

This is a "proper" pizzeria offering nothing other than traditionally made thin crust pizza, so don't go there expecting it to be like Pizza Hut. There's a very interesting selection of toppings which should deliver something for everyone, including gluten free and vegan options. The only downside when we visited was that it was very quiet, with no other customers, so it was lacking in atmosphere at that time, but at least we didn't have to wait to be served and our pizzas arrived promptly.

Great pizza. The room reverberates badly, so very noisy. We decided to order to takeaway and it was great. Definitely recommend it.

The pizza is very delicious! A little bit expensive but still ok. However, the pizza selection is small.

I have had pizzas in several pizzerias at various locations in the UK, Italy, USA and even Iran. I like my pizzas baked in a clay oven because l think it adds texture and taste. Unfortunately these are not easy to find in the UK. Johnny Doughs Rhos can certainly make an excellent pizza. The service was also excellent, assertive but not pushy. The atmosphere, I think, was very good. There were four of us at the table and we all enjoyed our food. As regards the cost I would say that you can pay the same or more at so-called pizzerias and not have the same quality of food or experience. My own personal recommendation would be the beetroot pizza.

Nice pizza but no atmosphere in the restuarant at all. They had a great selection of pizzas and a few sides but the place needed some background music.

Came for an impromptu afternoon date. Staff were so lovely, helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and didn't take long and the atmosphere was so lovely and chilled. Proper cute little restaurant and I love the decor, so pretty. Definitely coming again, it's even family friendly as we saw multiple families enjoying their food there too. Thank you guys

We were met very politely and professionally and even though we'd booked, it was quiet so we had our pick of tables, there was a very good selection of drinks, local Snowden ales, a cider, wines and cocktails, my wife had an espresso martini which she said was the best she'd had anywhere! Good selection of pizzas, kids can make their own by choosing two (or more) toppings then they bring the dough over alo g with the ingredients and your kid actually builds their own pizza before it's cooked, brilliant! I had the johnny dough special which was delicious and my wife had one of the vegetarian option pizzas which again was delicious, dessert menu was a selection of ice creams along with chocolate brownie served warm which was very tasty! Price was very reasonable and we will definitely go back , I would highly recommend johnny doughs

Lovely pizzas and atmosphere. Party of 6 on Tuesday 30th May and everyone loved the pizzas. I had the Mussel Mariniere option....brilliant. Excellent service during the evening from Hannah, nothing too much trouble, great friendly and efficient service.

I do love a good pizza and Johnny Doughs is a great example. We had quite a large order for the family. The staff were sensational. A member of staff called Summer was amazng. Her customer care was superb. All around great experience and the food was just what was needed.

Ate her for daughter's 9th birthday with 8 of her friends - food was perfect, staff were fantastic, would thoroughly recommend 😊👍

Well worth a visit. Only called in because every other outlet were taking it easy having a day off. Glad I did. Friendly, courteous staff who are easy on the eye. Food came promptly and was delicious. Recommended.

This is their new place away from Llandudno. Same excellent surroundings and the trademark world map on the wall. Excellently prepared pizzas from their select menu. We ordered two to eat in and a take away for a friend. Really good service and excellent food. Recommend you give it a try

Me & the hubby had a lovely pizza each for our Sunday teatime meal.. Me being a veggie I was very happy with the choices on offer.. Lovely pizza base.. just right. Also, nice to try the Snowden brewery larger.. Very friendly staff..

Delicious pizza, the prices are odd however as I ordered a kids size and it is pretty much the exact same size as the regular sizes that are double the price. The atmosphere is dead so that's why I rated a 4*.

Had my granddaughters 16th here tonight..pizza was fantastic along with salad and profiteroles..cannot fault it ..staff are very friendly..and service brilliant .

We went in for lunch today as an anniversary meal.. despite there being a table of 14 teenage boys ( who were brilliantly behaved and a credit to whomever they were with) we were served quickly and efficiently. Brilliant pizza, lovely staff, beautiful setting, we will be back. Thank you

Lovely farmhouse pizzas tonight with a friend. Friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant was nice and cosy too!

We were staying for a few days in Rhos on Sea and arrived too late to cook dinner. Ordered online three pizzas and they were the best pizzas we have eaten in years! The kids chose their own toppings and we ordered the tikka pizza for ourselves - amazing! Highly highly recommended!
