An old favourite, ruined by a terrible experience . Barman refused to acknowledge that the vodka soda. I ordered was not right although it most clearly was and refused to taste (understandable) replace or acknowledge: we don’t want free drinks - and I know what my regular drink tastes like. Please listen to customers. UPDATE- communicated my complaint to the owner/manager - who said it would not be easy for me to prove that there was an issue although we always believed customers opinions on the drinks and expect there was possibly smoky whisky in the measuring pourer." No need to prove if you believe the customer! …

They have picked some really good wines here if whisky is not your thing

I love this bar, it's my kinda place, when walk I. The front door, it put s a big smile on my face. PALM BEER!! Yay!! Fantastic selection of spirits, great service and atmosphere.

We called in for a drink overall the place quite dirty and the toilets were far below standard. The staff were friendly.

Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, they helped me pick out my own little flight of whiskies.

Says online open Sundays, got a taxi to town. Shut. Utterly useless - Your opening hours on Google and any other search engine say open Sundays from 10am - 9.30pm it seems worrying you have replied to my comment with a lie, which you have clearly just changed but I have a screenshot attached below.

Right up my alley! Very cool cocktail bar with a neighborhood feel. Really nice but not 'fancy' or 'trendy'. My partner and I went here after a date night for a night cap and sat in the window to people watch and it was lovely. Great gin martini and espresso martini!

Cool bar in trendy Montpellier. Fantastic top shelf, whisky and gin galore. Also has outside seating. Pricey drinks

A really superb little place with a great whisky selection, friendly knowledgeable staff and outdoor seating. A cosy secluded feel that's equally warm and welcoming. Definitely returning for more 😁

Favourite coffee stop in the daytime, but also a fabulous bar anytime ..staff very friendly and knowledgeable. A whiskey lovers delight but nice selection of draught beer and other quality drinks. Excellent off licence attached and great indoor (upstairs and downstairs) seating, plus, a very nice outdoor seating area in their exclusive arcade or on the patio.

Always a great place to have a drink with the option of being inside or out. Great wines, gims and whiskey but only have a very limited beer/larger selection.

Cheltenham at its finest; still showing how it was, and should be, done. Top marks.

Very interesting quirky bar offering one of the largest selections of whisky brands I have seen. A european beer selection was alsobon offer. With a barman who clearly had a passion for his stock this place will thrive.

Very cool with a downstairs area reminiscent of Tokyo bars, 80s-90s alternative rock generally playing (suits me), great choice of drinks, but scary prices for a double gin tonic.

This is my favourite pub in Cheltenham. The arcade and outside sitting area add much to the atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Wonderful atmosphere! A real gem of Cheltenham, great location and a wonderful team at the helm. Took me through the extensive selection of drinks and also had an off licence which sold all the bottles that were available behind the bar. Could g recommend it enough!

Incredibly slow service considering we had a booking for whisky tasting session. We needed two extra places, but this took amongst an hour to sort before we got down to the tasting itself. Staff otherwise seemed friendly.

Can safely say my girlfriends and mines favourite place to have a glass of wine, the Nero Di Troia has become our Tuesday tipple. The gents behind the bar are truly excellent and the service we receive every time is impeccable. Really can’t recommend enough — great location, excellent service and brilliant selection of wines, spirits, coffees and cigars.

Quietly socialising without the noise and bustle of 131 nearby ... and better value too.

Friend and I visited yesterday evening after dinner in town. We were totally ignored for 10 minutes and had to collect our own menu whilst watching two other couples who came in after us, being given menus. We waited another ten minutes and when one of the later arrivals was then approached for their order, I went to the bar. The young man who spoke was very curt, to the point of rudeness. We therefore got up and left.

Always pleased with the drinks selection. Snacks are good range too. Would recommend the John Gordons special 12yo whisky. Service is always excellent and there's some interesting seating inside!

Always have a great atmosphere in here, whether daytime or evening. I love their matcha lattes. My husband and I always love to stop here for a drink when in Cheltenham.

One of Cheltenham's hidden gems situated in a regency arcade of historic significance opposite the Montpellier gardens. Mind boggling selection of Whisky and Gin as well as wine and beers.

Great experience here. The bar staff are really knowledgable and great for recommendations on the huge array of guns. It’s friendly and a really pleasant environment to sit and while a way a little time. Interesting wine list too.

I've been a few times for a drink while waiting for others, and it has always been a very pleasant experience. There is a wide choice of drinks, though the staff can help make the choice should the options be too bewildering! The service is friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and it is in a very convenient location. Sitting in the covered courtyard on a hot day to shade from the sun while enjoying a cool drink is rather nice! Definitely a place to recommend.
