Awful experience yesterday at this place. My niece was charged £14.00 for a small bottle of water. Thankfully she paid for it with apply pay and noticed straight away. She told the staff what had happened and wanted the refund for the amount that was overcharged. This then escalated into the staff saying they were not able to do this and would we like the value of the amount in food instead! This was not an option to us as we were all booked into a restaurant half an hour from this time! The staff were rude, unhelpful and were all laughing behind the counter. We really had to argue the case, we were told they didnt keep cash on the premises and there was nothing they could do abut it. After a very stressful 20 mins or so arguing the point with them, they gave us the cash back. We went out the shop and a customer who had witnessed the whole scenario came out and told us that the staff were actually all talking and laughing about the incident. Another member of the family went back into the shop to ask for the area manager details. The staff member went out the back and actually wrote the number on her arm!!!! Dreadful customer service and the staff should all be put onto a customer awareness training programme or sacked! Total scam!

First and last time I ever enter this coffee shop. Music so loud I thought it was a nightclub. The staff member who took my order looked like he had just left a nightclub and did not want to be there half asleep dreary looking eyes. There was more staff than customers in the shop yet it took ages to get my vanilla latte., I had to go and ask for it as it was that long apologies given and latte appeared a few minutes later I had finished my not very nice almond crossiant already. And the cup it came in was awful terrible design leaks all over you when drinking. Never Never again . Back to starbucks for me

If you care about your safety and health and well being, this is not the place for you. The behaviour of the employees is (mildly speaking) disgusting from a health perspective. I frequented this store 2 days in one week: At both visits, the employee by the till was either EATING or DRINKING AND LICKING HER FINGERS, all whilst serving the customers and touching her screen and iPads and the customers drinks! One lad was making sandwiches without gloves ! Another one was itching her nose with her glove on, and thereafter went straight to pouring fruits in the blender! This is the perfect recipe for CROSS CONTAMINATION. And this is a quite serious matter. Licking your fingers and spreading your microbes and saliva in customers coffee and cake is GROSS. Food safety inspections should pay this store a visit and the place will be shut down on the spot. Thanks - but no thanks.

Really bad coffee. Really dirty and run down store. I was looking for sugar and there were no regular sugar packets just sweeteners and the whole section was like someone through the packs on the table and left. Staff to bothered to talk to the customers as they were talking between them. My coffee cup was hot so I asked for sleeve and I was told that that the sleeves available for only for large cups and my small one would not fit! Great customer service ...

Unfortunately, there is not a zero point option or else I would have chosen it. First impressions, the place looks untidy and run down. The music is so loud you can’t hear yourself think and for a coffee shop not to have decaf at all doesn’t inspire confidence either. Because of the loud music we found it near enough impossible to have a conversation. A polite request to turn down the volume a bit was met with the unnecessary information that if they were to turn down the music upstairs, downstairs customers would not be able to hear it. Really?! Get a better sound system I say but don’t torture those that didn’t manage to get a table in the downstairs lounge! V disappointing. I won’t be back.

I went into Joe and the Juice on North Audley Street today and ordered an avocado sandwich (being vegetarian for over 50 years). I walked back to my office and was horrified to find that my sandwich was, in fact, tuna. I went back to the shop and asked for a replacement. It took 10 minutes for them to provide me with a new sandwich. Again I walked back to my office and nearly cried when I found it to be turkey and mozzarella! When I returned to the shop there was no apology nor concern for the mistakes that they had made. While waiting for the second sandwich there were approximately 10 people all waiting outside (you're not allowed to wait inside) and all complaining they had waited too long. Also the music is so loud that when a name is shouted out, no-one can hear what they are calling. Please try to avoid this place!

Dirty tables , staff more interested in talking amongst themselves than paying attention to customers , £30 on two drinks and sandwiches , had to ask for table to be cleared Music dreadfully loud and inappropriate lyrics for me , N and F word repeatedly I asked at counter for it to be turned off or down and was told “ that’s joe “ , well I won’t be back again , “that’s me” Third or fourth bad experience I’ve had with them now , Shame because drinks are ok. But I just can’t relax in the place

Visited the Joe and the Juice at Blue Waters and the server ( named Joe apparently) was rude and unprofessional. That is the last time I visit this dump again.

Rarely has one witnessed such horrible service. My wife and I visited for breakfast and she inquired why half our juice order was not ready despite the fact that our food order was ready long ago and also despite the fact that customers who had arrived much later than us had already received their (complete) orders. We were then condescendingly and patronizongly told by one of the staff that he was "sorry that there are too many customers," reminding us simultaneously that his was "a tough job." After I told him not to patronize us, he then proceeded to shout at me. Incidentally, this staff member was, in addition to his unacceptable attitude, not wearing gloves whilst preparing the sandwiches, which is quite unhygienic.

I visited Joe & The Juice North Audrey Branch earlier this evening (9/11/2019) and ended up leaving due to the lack of hygiene in the way staff handled food. I can accept to some degree the unwelcoming and unpleasant staff. I can accept to some degree the lack of urgency in preparing my order. But I cannot accept anything other than the highest level of hygiene when food is being handled. I had ordered a Power Shake and had witnessed the particular staff that was preparing my order as he was adding the strawberries to the mixer with his bare hands and that was after he had handled garbage! This particular staff seemed to be overworked, demotivated and hadn’t the faintest idea of food safety and food hygiene. I decided to leave without any fuss but was determined to write this review - not only for my sake but for the sake of those customers that are unaware of how their food may be handled. I will certainly not be going back and I urge ALL customers to be aware of this food safety/food hygiene breach!

This store takes too many orders from Deliveroo and the like meaning that less time is given to the general public. Considering the store is so close to Oxford Street you would expect them spend more time with passing trade. I stood and waited to be served without acknowledgement today so went to m&s instead. I won't bother to go back and I work 2 minds away. Such a shame...

Dangerous lack of respect for serious peanut allergy. This began with the fact that I am highly allergic to peanuts. As a result I consulted the menu carefully and decided to order the crunchy avo Asian salad (with almonds - I am not allergic to tree nuts). Upon ordering my salad I provided my name and was asked to wait for my order to be called. When my name was called I approached the counter and made the effort to confirm the salad being announced was in fact mine (I specifically asked the server if the salad was for “al”). When I went to sit down and eat the salad I noticed it appeared to contain cashews as opposed to almonds. I am allergic to neither, but given the order appears to have an error I wanted to make 100% sure what I was about to eat was safe. As a result I walked back up to the counter and clearly explained to the server that I am allergic to peanuts specifically and wanted to make sure what I ordered was safe. I explained that my order appeared to have cashews as opposed to the almonds that the salad I ordered specified. At this point the server who was working on the till checked with a colleague (who I believe was a manager) and confirmed my salad only had cashews. In fact when I asked do any of their salads have peanuts I was told no. Having made explicitly clear that I have a serious peanut allergy, I then returned to my seat to eat my lunch. I immediately felt something was wrong, with a tingling feeling in my mouth. As a result I once again approached the staff behind the counter and asked whether or not my salad had peanuts. At this point I noticed that my name was again being called, with what appeared to be my salad. I once again asked a blonde haired woman who I believe was a manager about my salad and whether or not it may contain peanuts (the same staff member who earlier said there wasn’t). At this point she appeared to realise that I had been given the wrong salad. She then proceeded to suggest it was my fault that I had taken the wrong salad (despite me confirming at the time I initially picked it up and once again when I double checked that my salad did not have peanuts). It was at this point it became clear that the salad I had been given (despite checking twice) did in fact have peanut butter dressing. When I pushed back and explained I had explicitly asked twice if the salad I had been given had peanuts I was simply told it was “my fault” that I took the wrong salad. In fact I was told there is “nothing we can do” in what can only be described as an extremely rude and defensive tone. Finally I spoke to who appeared to be the most senior member of staff who instantly realised there was a problem. Unfortunately it was clearly too late at this point. He gave me an email address to follow up with, however this turned out to be invalid. Overall completely unsatisfactory and very dangerous.
