Absolutely amazing thai food. So tasty and piping hot definitely recommend

Nearly 2 hours to receive my order and the food quality was far below usual standards. Very disappointed. This is not the norm, in my experience, so will probably chalk this off as a one-off, but as I said above - very disappointed.

The reason I had the food delivered is because I have a broken leg. But I live only two metres from Jino’s and so can’t understand why it took so long to arrive, wasn’t very warm, and suffered from this delay in arriving.

Big thanks to Name! I visited Jino’s Café for the first time, and it looked really nice from the outside. It seemed like a popular spot, with lots of people coming and going, so we decided to give it a try. No appointment was needed, but if you're planning to go on a Friday or Saturday, it’s a good idea to book in advance. The staff were native Thai, very friendly, polite, and made us feel welcome. A special shout-out to Name, I think she might be the manager or a waitress. She was so kind and really cared. She took the time to ask about my food preferences and allergies, and helped me choose the perfect dish that matched my taste. To me, she seemed like a true expert in Thai cuisine. I highly recommend this place, especially for first-time visitors. I will definitely be coming back!

Quality of the food wasn't great, some of the appetizers had the quality of being frozen and reheated. The quality of the cooking for the mains was poor, lack of any char for so called stir fried foods, limp and wet vegetables, overcooked meat, quite dissapointing and overpriced.

I loved this place when it was the informal cafe, and I love it now as the restaurant. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is great and most of all the food is outstanding.

The veg pad thai with tofu had chicken in it and my vegetarian wife had to spit it out. We would like a refund.

I visited Jino's Thai Cafe for the first time yesterday - what an absolute gem! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the staff could not have been more attentive. We started with the Jino's special mix for two which was delicious - the best sweetcorn patties I have ever had. I then had the beef massaman curry which was gorgeous and my partner had the Pad Thai. We also had a pudding each. If you are looking for a restaurant in Headingley I could not recommend this restaurant more highly! We will definitely be back.

Love it here! As a coeliac and vegetarian, have never been let down by the food. Would love to see a few more options on the menu in the future for gluten free vegetarians.

Been here a few times with work when there’s been a big leaving do on and they’ve always had really good service even when there was loads of us, just been again this afternoon and their lunch deal was even better value than their usual evening menu which already is really good, food consistently delicious also!

Ordered a takeaway from Jino’s and massively disappointed on this occasion considering it was just short of £60for 2 people. The spare ribs looked unappetising and tasted strange. The Pad Thai was bland and the Penang curry was tasty, but the beef was like old leather! Didn’t feel like good value for money think we will take a break from this place for a while!

Order was missing an item. Couldn’t redeliver. Disappointed.

Just ordered over £40 worth of food, the sauce was less than half the tub and we found a hair in the pork ribs. We called to see if we could get a replacement but the lady on the phone couldn’t care less.. I will never order from them again, what a waste of money.

Went 3/6/25 for dinner with friends and one small child. It is clean and bright and we enjoyed ourselves though sadly they got one friends order wrong and since she didn’t want to wait she ate the dish she both however she ordered yellow curry and it came as noodle dish. The shrimp toast are very good. The prawn starter as well. I ordered beef pad ke mao and I enjoyed my main dish. They had a delicious mango drink I enjoyed as well. Sorry I forgot food pics

Subject: disappointing experience and bad customer service I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent booking. After placing a deposit to reserve seating for 20 people for my birthday celebration, I was initially reassured by your staff that the entire group could be seated together at one long table, and that there was availability. However, when I later contacted the owner, I was informed that not only was my booking not on record, but that seating 20 people at a single table was impossible. Additionally, I was unaware of the set menu requirement, which came as a complete surprise. The lack of communication and preparation within your team is astounding. It’s clear there was no coordination between your staff, as evidenced by the owner's unfamiliarity with the booking and the manager’s explanation that guests would have to be served food at different times due to the size of the party. Such disorganization and lack of care for a paying customer is unacceptable, especially when dealing with a significant event like a birthday. It is even more frustrating to know that I was misled and ultimately left without any viable options for my special day. I find it appalling that instead of valuing this opportunity for business, your team seemed uninterested in accommodating me, leaving me stranded with no alternative. This experience has been deeply disappointing, and I will not be recommending your establishment to anyone in the future.

I cannot recommend this place enough, both the gyozas and fish curry I had were absolutely delicious, came out very quickly and all the staff were lovely. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and also priced very reasonably.

Good food (nothing crazy or insane) fast service especially for a valentines. Little Expensive for what it is but still a nice dinner out.

OMG..absolutely the best food. We went on a Tuesday night and it was busy. Our orders were taken promptly and food was delivered quickly. The lovely waitress was helpful and friendly. We will be back.

Lovely food but far too expensive

Lunch deal did include an alcoholic drink, now it doesn't and the price has remained the same - just taking liberties ! You also get charged service charge when they say nothing and you don't expect it or be informed that you have an option - service charge when all you get is absolutely the base and bog basement service - just about none existent BUT you will be charged. When you think you are getting quite a good deal you really are not. I will not be returning and I advise anyone else to try another Thai restaurant there are a few to choose from that are quite close by.

What has happened?? We used to eat here or get takeaway all the time when we lived closer but haven't been in a few years. Got takeaway a few weeks ago, and it was like they ran out of seasoning in the kitchen. Both dishes were extremely bland. It was so disappointing. I hope it was just a bad night, but we won't be eating here again.What a shame, as their strength used to be consistency 😞

Hot, tasty food. Could not fault it.

Amazing food and service, we went for a girls night out and had the sharing starters, both the fish and the vegetarian ones were fantastic, followed by a selection of Prawn Pad Thai and Pla Shu Shi with rice and a side of broccoli, all really good followed by the apple gyoza . Such friendly servers, we will be back soon.

I order quite regularly, I don’t know if it’s because it’s a Saturday night and you’re busier but my chicken was a bit dry and the dish didn’t taste as good as it usually does.

Love Jino's! The servers are all so lovely, the atmosphere is super cute, and the food is outstanding. I got the lunch special for £13.95 and the sweetcorn patties are amazing while the pork pad Thai was just perfect. Only disappointed that I didn't have room for dessert!

Eaten here a few times now, and the food just gets better and better! Love trying new dishes on the menu, never disappointed by anything. Everything is so delicious and tastes so authentic. The staff here are as equally outstanding. So friendly and attentive. One of my favourite restaurants to bring my friends to when they’re visiting Leeds!

Really tasty Thai food! Reasonably priced and if you come Tuesday or Wednesday they have curry/noodle offer which is a good deal and amazing quality!

The lunch menu is a set of dishes with mixed veg or chicken or beef. No prawn or tofu but the mixed veg was lovely. £14 for the lunch who’s a a small starter and smaller main. £5 to add on a pint of singha. Good atmosphere inside. Classic movie posters in Thai on the wall. They have a pod in the wall for the delivery drivers to go to so they aren’t disturbing the diners which is a good idea. Really enjoyed the food. Would go back.

First visit, super fresh food straight to your table, lovely food.

The sweet fritters tasted like pudding! And I couldn’t see any sweetcorn. The stirfry vegetable was very overcooked and had no flavour. When I phoned the restaurant, they just told me to make a complaint.

Food was great. Red curry a bit on the spicy side. Delivery was on time but deliver driver didn’t come to the door.

I've been a loyal customer of Jino's, placing an average of one online order per week for the past four years. With over 200 orders, I've only had to complain four times, typically about issues like very spicy food or receiving the wrong item. I understand that mistakes happen, especially in a busy restaurant. However, what I cannot tolerate is the aggressive behavior from your manager, who sent me threatening messages from his personal mobile number and falsely accused me of making unreasonable demands. I suggest you review the call recordings and reflect on this inappropriate conduct. I will no longer be ordering from Jino's due to this disrespectful treatment. For reference, you can see my positive reviews with other companies over the past few years. Paul cannot tolerate any negative feedback, and his claims that I didn't receive something are completely false. He will likely delete other review replies, just as he keeps amending his replies below to my review with different false claims, so I screen grabbed one as an example, I called regarding not receiving a mango juice? I never even ordered a mango juice, it’s not even on my items ordered. If you read his responses to other customers (sort by lowest), you'll see that he acts like a bully towards innocent people. Paul, if you were bullied as a child, I'm truly sorry. However, I suggest you seek help, as your current behavior is far from mature and not an excuse. I hope you reflect on your behavior and how you treat people, this is not how you run a business. Other readers are welcome to read all my other positive 10/10 reviews for companies that deserve them, I never complain, Paul just cannot handle any negative feedback and if he does he decides to act like a child in a toy shop not getting his way!

The food was really good, super tasty but it was tainted a bit by missing an item from our mains, so my girlfriend didn’t get what she had ordered and was left hungry. When I phoned up they said they could make it for us to collect but weren’t able to deliver it for us which defeats the point a little as neither of us have a car and can’t go to collect. Bit disappointing but I believe the items have been refunded, a shame really cos the food was really good as mentioned.
