Some of the best food you can get in Torbay. Sets an incredible bar locally especially for Mexican food.

Not worth the money, very very average which is a shame as previously enjoyed eating in store.

We decided to go out for a little bit of food as we have just moved to Paignton. this place popped up and we are so glad we found it because it was absolutely delicious. Really really good top quality home cooked mexican food. really nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The sizzling beef I highly recommend and the burrito. Didn't take a picture of mine. Having only just moved to Paignton we thought we will go out for a meal. Fancied mexican and found this place. Food absolutely incredible. Good size portions with stunning flavours. Highly recommend. We definitely will be back! Atmosphere is great. And staff friendly and easy to talk to. The sizzling beef! Extraordinary!!!

We travelled all the way from Cambridge and were pleasantly surprised by how amazing the food was. The decor and service were exceptional, and the dishes tasted truly authentic.

This is the worst restaurant me and my family have ever been too! If I could rate it a 0 I would, when we first arrived the staff looked miserable and hardly spoke to you, we noticed that the table next to us was complaining to the manager about his food and not wanting to pay, that should have been a warning sign for what was to come with our experience. After we ordered our food we had to wait 30 minutes just for the starter, when it came out it was greasy and tasteless. We then waited another 45 minutes whilst watching the chefs make orders for uber eats rather than serving the customers in the restaurant. We told the manager this several times to which we kept getting told that our food was on the way, after an hour my toddler started to cry as he was getting hungry, It was 8 o’clock and after being there from 6:45 I went to the manager and complained saying that I wanted the bill and to just leave, he was aware my son was crying and that we no longer wanted the food we had to wait over an hour for. He then persisted that we stayed and that the food would be made straight away, after telling him that we wasn’t interested several times he then tells us that we shouldn’t be bringing our son to a restaurant at that time and that he should be asleep! How disgusting! We had been there since 6:45pm and it was a family Holiday! They prioritised delivery orders more than the people eating at their restaurant! Absolutely ridiculous! I would not recommend this place to anyone! It is probably the worst restaurant on earth! And I never thought I’d say that about a restaurant.

Walked in on the off chance they had a table free. Very welcomed. Ordered the Chimichanga, burrito and dirty fries. Sadly we couldn't eat all of it because it was so filling. Everything tasted amazing. Definitely give it a go!

We were in Paignton for a few days over the Easter holidays. We like mexican food and there are very few restaurants in Wales that cater solely for this cuisine. The owners were really hospitable. There were hats to wear if you wanted to join in, but not forced upon you. The food was very good. The atmosphere was very friendly.

Visited tonight, last minute booking. Anthony was really friendly and accommodating! Food was fantastic, we had nachos, enchiladas and fajitas and all were sublime! Would absolutely recommend!

First time here,wished we'd come before. Amazing food and service. I had the Beef Chilli and my partner the Chimichanga. Beautiful food. We would definitely recommend eating here!

Beef patty was a bit bland. Pulled pork was nice. Chicken was a little over cooked. It wasn't very hot so the little tortillas ended up a bit tough

Super food, great choices and so filling. Too tasty!! We couldn't stop eating as the flavours were incredible! Lovely welcome in the restaurant too. We hadn't been to Jingles for many years. And now we're asking ourselves why? It's really good food, reasonably priced and great service.

Love Jingles and most of this meal was spot on, but the onion rings were bordering on burnt and my partner and I only managed a few bites of them.

Amazing food we get most weekends

A little piece of Mexico dropped into Paignton. The onion rings were moreish. The pulled pork taco bowl was exceptionally tasty and packed full of healthy goodness. The enchiladas were very tasty and came with a wonderfully fresh dressed salad. Same with the coleslaw - perfect balance of flavours (not too mayo-y). Just visiting but if I lived here, I wouldn't cook, and just eat here all the time. 😋 Highly recommend.

2nd Restaurant visited this weekend gone and both absolutely fantastic, Had a Greek dish in Torquay on the Friday and Mexican in Paignton on Saturday as a Birthday weekend away for my partner. Had the Steak Fajitas as recommended by the fella in there and it was wonderful, cooked to perfection. There was a very good vibe in there and the owners were friendly and welcoming, had a bit of a laugh with them towards the end. Would recommend 100%, will hopefully make a return visit from Plymouth in the not too distant future unless you wish to branch out down south.

It's always hard to gauge portion size vs price vs quality when ordering online. This was bang on, tasty, good portion sizes and arrived on time. Each dish ordered was enjoyed by all. Will be ordering again

We were visiting Paignton again this weekend and we went back to Jingles restaurant! Once again, it did not disappoint. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We had a Pulled Pork Taco Bowl, Chicken and steak fajitas, a Kids burger, dirty fries with chilli beef and onion rings!! All of the food was fresh. Meets soft and tender and the salad and crunchy! The front of house were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. We can’t wait to visit again when we are next here and we would 100% recommend this to anyone who is local or visiting the area.

Had a lovely meal at this very nice Mexican eatery- atmosphere relaxed and service and food very good. Veggie option for myself was very good and plenty of choice. 🌮🌯

Booked in for a birthday party with 20 family members. The service was great and the food was enjoyed by everyone. Even with such big table the food was all served in great time. Had few fussy eaters but making any changes was not a problem at all. We will definitely go back again. Thank you!

11.10.24 Fantastic food, service and a lovely welcome on Jingles, Hyde Road, Paignton. Our party of 5 had chilli (gluten free), chicken chimichangas, ribs, chicken fajitas and a child's meal. Everything was full of flavour! We thought the prices were very reasonable too. Highly recommend a visit when in Paignton. We hope to return in 2025.

We were away for the weekend in Paignton and wanted somewhere to eat. We ended up in Jingles. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We had a Pulled Pork Taco Salad, Chicken and steak fajitas and a Kids pizza. The meat melted in your mouth and was very tasty, the salad was crisp and fresh... even the chips were good! The service was top quality and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We will be back and we would 100% recommend this to anyone who is local or visiting the area.

Used to use this place when in Torquay, so was very pleased to see them when we arrived in Paignton. Nothing has changed over those years, great venue, great good (exceptional in fact), great friendly service. All at a very reasonable price! Keep up the good work!

We have previously eaten inside the restaurant and we had brilliant experience. On this holiday we decided to get a takeaway (delivered) from Jingles. I phoned up to place the order as we were unsure if they'd deliver to our caravan park. The chap on the phone was friendly and very pleasant to speak with. The food arrived promptly, hot and looked brilliant. The food was absolutely amazing, we are now feeling very stuffed 😂

Appalling. Service absolutely terrible. We used the takeaway service (first time having jingles) and collected. My partner went in and was abruptly told to sit and wait. Rudely told he wasn't allowed to use the toilet unless he was eating in. He was also told "you booked for 8pm, so that's when your order will be ready" this was a few minutes before 8pm. Food is awful. Loaded fries were nasty cheap chips, topping was just a blob of sticky mess. Nachos were rock hard. Two people eating in the restaurant were complaining about their food which was unsurprising. Definitely won't be ordering again!!

We were there as a family for diner and it was the best mexican food we had in years. We also got a friendly Welcome and very good service including Smalltalk with interesting informations . Lovely Decoration and music :-)

Went out for a friends birthday meal yesterday, and from the moment we entered we were greeted, seated and given menus promptly. The lady who was serving us was lovely, answered all our questions and gave us her recommendations. The service was friendly and welcoming, best I’ve had in an establishment in a long time. The food was Delicious and a generous amount too. I also highly recommend the strawberry margaritas! I will absolutely be returning and recommending my friends and family to visit.

Popped in for dinner while in the area on holiday and had the best fajitas, possibly ever. Had a really lovely welcome from all staff and they were more than happy to accommodate the meal for me (I'm lactose intolerant). Food came out quick, staff had a laugh with us and even suggested some spots to check out near our hotel. Portions were a really good size and great value for money. If we were on holiday for longer, we probably would have dinner here again. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Went here for dinner and a drink, the food was delicious and great value for money. The menu isn't too long which is great because it means the effort is going into a good selection of meals rather than a ton of mediocre food. Good selection of drinks, staff is very friendly.

We were a large party of 16 for our 25 wedding anniversary and from the moment we requested a table online to departing the restaurant they could not do enough for us. Anthony was amazing with his communication and made sure that our guest with a nut allergy was accommodated for - and every restaurant should have an Eva - she was blinding and smiled throughout. Large parties can be difficult to manage but she was superb. The restaurant design is wonderful and food was amazing, so much so I wished I had ordered other people’s food. We had a number of vegetarian’s and we all loved it and would highly recommend you visit, as we will be back here next time we are in Paignton.

We loved this restaurant so much that we went twice whilst on a short break in Paignton. The food was amazing and staff very friendly. If we visit the Torbay area again we will definitely come again as it's rare to find a restaurant that does mexican, especially to this standard.

What a lovely surprise and absolutely top notch Tex Mex, we were so pleased to have made the journey over from Torquay. Opting for Chimichamgas - chicken and the veggie both were excellent and very filling. The service was fantastic, the lady serving was very friendly and wereade to feel very welcome - we'll definitely go back.

Food good. Booked for 8pm table of 9 rushed service plates vleared before everyonefinished. We asked for dessert and coffees and told the kitchen closed at 9pm! Wine only served by the glass. Shame as disappointing

Order over 30 min late turned up cold. Didn't enjoy , also had to call the restaurant 3 times to resolve this.

We have visited Jingles several times in the past, but not for a long time. Did we dare hope that the food would be as good? Oh my goodness, it’s even better! Chimichangas & Chilli absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and just the right amount of “attentive”, Perfect visit and look forward to returning when in the area. Thank you so much. We are visiting the area for the a weekend away and my partner booked for us to dine for the evening at Jingles. The food is nothing short of fantastic and the staff were lovely, very warm and inviting and made a great atmosphere. I can’t recommend Jingles enough, you will not be disappointed, we will be visiting again as a priority! 🌮

What a fantastic little Mexican gem in Paignton. The food was fantastic & very tasty. A small restaurant, but the food packs the authentic spicey punch. Fajitas were so lovely, with a spiced coating on the sizzler that captured the taste lovely. The chips were covered in a spice and not just a sprinkle a good covering. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Offered additional salsa or other sauces if required. Will be back next time in the area. 😋🍽️🌮🇲🇽 .

Great food at Jingles, yummy and generous portions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Jingles. Having relocated a few years ago this restaurant has been on our list to visit for some time. The gentleman serving us was very attentive and made us feel welcome! The food did not disappoint, we both had Mexican chicken chimichangas and a side of fries! For those more partial to less spicy food the salsa had a slight kick to it. No room for pudding always a good sign. Don’t forget the obligatory Mexican hat wearing and photograph.
