We have previously eaten inside the restaurant and we had brilliant experience. On this holiday we decided to get a takeaway (delivered) from Jingles. I phoned up to place the order as we were unsure if they'd deliver to our caravan park. The chap on the phone was friendly and very pleasant to speak with. The food arrived promptly, hot and looked brilliant. The food was absolutely amazing, we are now feeling very stuffed 😂

Appalling. Service absolutely terrible. We used the takeaway service (first time having jingles) and collected. My partner went in and was abruptly told to sit and wait. Rudely told he wasn't allowed to use the toilet unless he was eating in. He was also told "you booked for 8pm, so that's when your order will be ready" this was a few minutes before 8pm. Food is awful. Loaded fries were nasty cheap chips, topping was just a blob of sticky mess. Nachos were rock hard. Two people eating in the restaurant were complaining about their food which was unsurprising. Definitely won't be ordering again!!

We were there as a family for diner and it was the best mexican food we had in years. We also got a friendly Welcome and very good service including Smalltalk with interesting informations . Lovely Decoration and music :-)

Went out for a friends birthday meal yesterday, and from the moment we entered we were greeted, seated and given menus promptly. The lady who was serving us was lovely, answered all our questions and gave us her recommendations. The service was friendly and welcoming, best I’ve had in an establishment in a long time. The food was Delicious and a generous amount too. I also highly recommend the strawberry margaritas! I will absolutely be returning and recommending my friends and family to visit.

Popped in for dinner while in the area on holiday and had the best fajitas, possibly ever. Had a really lovely welcome from all staff and they were more than happy to accommodate the meal for me (I'm lactose intolerant). Food came out quick, staff had a laugh with us and even suggested some spots to check out near our hotel. Portions were a really good size and great value for money. If we were on holiday for longer, we probably would have dinner here again. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

Went here for dinner and a drink, the food was delicious and great value for money. The menu isn't too long which is great because it means the effort is going into a good selection of meals rather than a ton of mediocre food. Good selection of drinks, staff is very friendly.

We were a large party of 16 for our 25 wedding anniversary and from the moment we requested a table online to departing the restaurant they could not do enough for us. Anthony was amazing with his communication and made sure that our guest with a nut allergy was accommodated for - and every restaurant should have an Eva - she was blinding and smiled throughout. Large parties can be difficult to manage but she was superb. The restaurant design is wonderful and food was amazing, so much so I wished I had ordered other people’s food. We had a number of vegetarian’s and we all loved it and would highly recommend you visit, as we will be back here next time we are in Paignton.

We loved this restaurant so much that we went twice whilst on a short break in Paignton. The food was amazing and staff very friendly. If we visit the Torbay area again we will definitely come again as it's rare to find a restaurant that does mexican, especially to this standard.

What a lovely surprise and absolutely top notch Tex Mex, we were so pleased to have made the journey over from Torquay. Opting for Chimichamgas - chicken and the veggie both were excellent and very filling. The service was fantastic, the lady serving was very friendly and wereade to feel very welcome - we'll definitely go back.

Food good. Booked for 8pm table of 9 rushed service plates vleared before everyonefinished. We asked for dessert and coffees and told the kitchen closed at 9pm! Wine only served by the glass. Shame as disappointing

We have visited Jingles several times in the past, but not for a long time. Did we dare hope that the food would be as good? Oh my goodness, it’s even better! Chimichangas & Chilli absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and just the right amount of “attentive”, Perfect visit and look forward to returning when in the area. Thank you so much. We are visiting the area for the a weekend away and my partner booked for us to dine for the evening at Jingles. The food is nothing short of fantastic and the staff were lovely, very warm and inviting and made a great atmosphere. I can’t recommend Jingles enough, you will not be disappointed, we will be visiting again as a priority! 🌮

What a fantastic little Mexican gem in Paignton. The food was fantastic & very tasty. A small restaurant, but the food packs the authentic spicey punch. Fajitas were so lovely, with a spiced coating on the sizzler that captured the taste lovely. The chips were covered in a spice and not just a sprinkle a good covering. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Offered additional salsa or other sauces if required. Will be back next time in the area. 😋🍽️🌮🇲🇽 .

Found this restaurant while walking around the town looking for somewhere to have dinner. Very colourful and welcoming. Staff very friendly, food reasonably priced, and tasted good. Recommed

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Jingles. Having relocated a few years ago this restaurant has been on our list to visit for some time. The gentleman serving us was very attentive and made us feel welcome! The food did not disappoint, we both had Mexican chicken chimichangas and a side of fries! For those more partial to less spicy food the salsa had a slight kick to it. No room for pudding always a good sign. Don’t forget the obligatory Mexican hat wearing and photograph.

Great food and atmosphere, staff are welcoming and friendly offering advice on food choices. I had a pulled pork chimichanga and crispy bread crumbed jalapeños. Also guided to the perfect drink to accompany the food so I had my first very zingy refreshing lime margarita. Will definitely be going back again.

We had a weekend break in Devon and the place we stayed recommended Jingles as their favourite take away.. Well we can see why!!! The food was absolutely amazing, we had it delivered and the driver was so lovely and the food was just so lovely. It was perfectly hot when it arrived and I honestly can’t say anything else about it other than it was AMAZING!!! It was probably the best part of our holiday so thank you jingles for a delicious meal and the onion rings!!! AMAZING!! 👍🏻

Can't believe this was our first visit here considering we live in Paignton! I feel mad with myself that I'd not been sooner. The food is outstanding!!! Fresh, tasty and plentiful. The staff are beyond amazing at their jobs. It's been a long time I walked into a restaurant and felt so welcome. The atmosphere was wonderful, service top notch! Had a takeaway from here today. By far the best takeaway I have ever had. The food was amazing quality and good quantity. I had the chicken fajitas a d my partner had the ribs meal, we also shared the loaded bbq pulled pork fries! It was all so tasty 😋 I would certainly recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be ordering again or visiting the restaurant 😊

We decided to go to Jingles having been to the Torquay restaurant previously…what a disappointment. Not only has the food gone down hill but the service from the elderly lady and man was really poor and not what I would expect from a 5 star rated restaurant! Rude and abrupt and in general just all round poor service and attitude which left us feeling uncomfortable. Unfortunately that’s the last time I will be frequenting Jingles.

Lovely Mexican meal in the very colourful and tastefully decorated Jingles restaurant in Paignton, South Devon. A family-run business with very friendly staff, tasty food and good size portions. Exactly what we were looking for a hearty and flavoursome meal on our anniversary.

Another excellent meal. Jingles is one of our absolute favourites and never disappoints … wonderful service and food as always. We’ll be back very soon!

Our 2nd visit to Jingles.. 1st visit was some sort of escape during those gaps in Covid lock downs where Mr Jingles only opened for take aways but allowed us to take inn.. This time it was lovely to be able to eat in properly and soak in the atmosphere of a very busy Saturday night.. Mr Jingles remembered us and very welcoming as always.. Had a chat about how busy they've been and the new pizza place opening up on Paignton high street. Now let's get to the good bit.. The food 😍 I had chimichanga with bbq pulled pork. It was absolutely stuffed to the brim with pulled pork that was tasty and the wrap cooked so it was crispy.. Came with a side of nachos and salsa and a massive pile of fresh salad.. Other half had the rack of ribs.. Omg they were devine.. Pictures don't do justice.. He had pulled pork and cheese topped fries that just melted in your mouth and a taco bowl full with homemade coleslaw which too was delicious.. Strawberry mojitos and a bottle of cider to drink and a shot of tequila to finish it all off.. When in Mexico and all that.. This is now my number 1 restaurant in Paignton!

Back home im used to more authentic texmex or even real mex food but this here is some of the best you can go in rural uk and the only one in the area of paignton so it deserves 5 stars. The service was so friendly they even let us order although there were about to close kitchen. Thank you guys!

Edit: We went for a sit down meal this time, and were in a rush due to having to leave late and had cinema after, I called ahead to book our meal and they were Very accommodating! We arrived and the food came out shortly after, nice, hot and delicious. All staff we encountered were cheerful and we were able to make the cinema in time too! Perhaps the best part however, is how delicious the vegetarian Fajita was. My partner has an onion allergy too, and they were able to make an onion free, quorn/vege fajita dish which actually tasted so good it puts many other places to shame. So, highly recommended for vegetarians! --- Jingles never fail to deliver, great tastes and perfectly big portions. Had it as a takeaway and the food was just as good as in house. Supplied in trays so it was all neat on arrival. I always love the massive portions and that still rings true even as a takeaway. The size and flavours keep bringing me back, don't ever change!! Came to jingles for a birthday party, with a group of 11. Knew of jingles old reputation when it was in Torquay, this is the reason we chose this venue. As we were a big group we had to pre order which we didn't mind doing at all. The decor and atmosphere is just like the old jingles in Torquay. It's always fun playing with the sombreros and adds character to the event. You get a really decent size portion of food and leave feeling full. The price wasn't too bad per head and the staff were all friendly. Mexican food tends to be a little greasier if this is an issue. There is no set carpark for the restaurant but there is on-street parking if you can get a space and carparking locally in Paignton. I do feel, unfortunately, the staff were a little heavy on product pushing such as drinks but this can kind of be expected as a sign of the times. I would have enjoyed the evening a little more if the staff had eased off just a little. But all in all a goodnight.

Great food.. plentiful, tasty and superb value. Friendly and helpful staff. A fun and lively restaurant just as a Mexican should be. We couldn't finish it all so they let us take a dog baggy home with us. We will definitely be back. And they do home delivery too. And that was great too. Yay!
