Jimbos in Nottingham

Had a takeaway from here a while ago and gave me horrible food poisoning

Used to love this place, not sure if it's fully closed down now or what, but it's always showing as "open" on Google maps but never actually is when I try to go. I miss the chicken! :(

The gent who served us was very friendly and talkative. The food was lovely. I tried something new. Tuna pisses ( I know I wouldn't usally ) but it was actually really nice and different. The food was fresh and hot! Will return. Thank you guys :)

I used to love ordering from here, and I don't know what happened since it reopened, but the standards have dropped. Re-fried steak cut chips that were still undercooked. The donner was reheated on the grill and was burnt. Sorry to say that after years I will not be going back. Come on guys, what happened?

Stop going here it used to be good but NOW ALL THEY STARTED TO SERVE FROZEN MEAT EVEN DONER ITS NOT WORTH THE BELLYACHES

I’ve always loved their donner kebab but since they don’t do fresh donner rather frozen which is tasteless. Not coming back

Appalling customer service. I tried calling them 24 times after placing my order with just eat as the comment box wouldn't work and I wanted to tell them no mushrooms as I am allergic, the bloke then rang me to say they didn't have any cajun seasoning for the chicken wings and I told him the situation and he was so rude ! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE !!

Ordered the 2x12inch pizza 3x cheeses was dry & tasteless. Frank's hot spicy had about 6 jalapenos on & no Frank's hot sauce on, wasn't even spicy like the cheese pizza was dry & tasteless. As for the chicken & Donner & chips was also terrible, £30 would of cost me but I used my £10 of voucher so cost £20 n honestly was a joke never will I order from this place again and how deliveroo is saying its ratings is 4,4 * is just as bad as Jumbo's there's more flavour in a microwave pizza DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

upset, angry and disappointed comes to my mind when i hear Jimbos. I got one. I came to realise when i got my food that my doner meat and chips was half the size of Jarvo’s. I will not be returning to Jimbo’s after they disrespected the chow.The end

The best donner around! Update: over a year later and it’s now September 2021, the food portions have decreased and the prices have gone up! Used to love coming here to eat but now honestly it’s not worth it. The food isn’t anything special for the price it’s at.

Food ok but overcharged for delivery, flyer says £2 delivery within 3 miles, charged £3.50 yet according to Google maps I live exactly 2 miles away.

We ordered kebab and pizza. The delivery time was quick but the food was horrible. It was all soaked it oil. The kebab was tasteless and poor quality and the pizza wasn't good either mainly because of the tremendous amount of fat on it.

Fella treat me to a kebab after rinsing him all weekend mine was spot on - fella wasn’t impressed though🤦🏼‍♀️ He was starving wanting the biggest kebab on the menu... his came smaller than mine!!!! No chicken plus unwanted chips as had cheesy ones ordered separately. 50/50 review. Please answer your phone next time though.. customer service is whack.

I wouldn’t personally ever order from here again. I had hair inside the cheese of our pizza, never mind the fact it didn’t taste nice, was lukewarm and was delivered 20 minutes late. Really disappointed and completely put both of us off finishing our food

Called in with intentions of grabbing a Pizza, but decided on a Kebab in the end. Ordered and served in a matter of minutes. Couldn't fault the food, and would be more than happy to use again. The owner was very polite and chatty, despite looking busy. The premises looked very clean too, which I think says something about standards. Happy to recommend.

Very expensive for what I got. Donner meat and fries £7.99 and it wasn't even good. It was like eating my dirty socks with salad on it

The food is decent but I’ve had a terrible delivery 3 times now! The guys knows where the flat is and always parks miles away. Refuses to deliver to the door for some reason??? Not sure why I have to take it out of his car from him during a pandemic? One or two bad deliveries I can forgive but 3 is too many for me. Won’t catch me spending money here again.

Shocking customer service, unnecessarily rude. Hanging up on customers after getting the order wrong, are you normal? Definitely will not be ordering from them again.

La peor parte fue que pagamos extra por salsas para ir con nuestras pizzas y mi yogur de menta estaba tan diluido que no tenía sabor a menta (de hecho, no tenía sabor) y la salsa de barbacoa también estaba diluida. Si las salsas fueran gratuitas, habría sido un poco decepcionante, pero podríamos haberlo ignorado. El hecho de que pagáramos más por ellos fue la patada en los dientes. Jimbo's: ¡Deja de estafar a la gente diluyendo tus salsas para que vayan más lejos por ti! Se trata de la satisfacción del cliente, no del ahorro de costes.

They lie about the delivery time! But apparently they are in ur area! First time using them won’t be using them again! Waste of space I wouldn’t even give them one star!!

Order got dumped on my neighbours doorstep when I called to complain they said they delivered which obviously they didn't I asked for refund they got rude and hung up, would not recommend them, terrible service sub par food.

Has become my number one place to treat myself to a nice meal. The menu is good, the prices are good, service is quick and polite, the quality of the food is unparalleled. Personally I recommend the Chicken Twister and chips with hot chilli sauce. Keep up the good work.

Possibly the best kebab in the east midlands both taste and texture and the fries are always crisp on the outside but lovely and fluffy on the inside. On top of it all the prices are really competetive too.

Top service and great food. For a fast-food joint the facilities are clean and modern. It gives the feel it’s well invested and the staff are helpful and friendly. In terms of price, it is average but the food is above standard, more alike to a restaurant. It is perhaps the only local joint that serves a variety of desserts, Cooke in-store. I highly recommend.

Took an hour and 40 minutes to arrive, rang twice to see where it was and kept being told it had ‘left’ .. we live 5 minutes away and 30 minutes later it hadn’t arrived. Food wasnt worth it.

Had a lovely takeaway which for me is a rare treat. I was so happy with the quality of my chicken kebab. Was so tasty. Even the fries tasted so fresh and crispy. My order was on time and the staff were so friendly and polite on the phone. To top it off....the red velvet cookie dough... delish!!!!

We had the most delicious feast from Jimbo's tonight - pizzas, chips, kebab and not to mention amaretto cookie dough. All amazing, arrived hot and freshly cooked. Would definitely order from here again! :)

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Started University here in September, Jimbos was the closest takeaway. Went there and got on with all the staff well, enjoyed the food and recommended the place to my friends! However one night in February i had a bad night so decided to order a Jimbo's. I first called up to enquire about how much a cheesy garlic bread was, decided between 2 different types and let them know on the phone. i was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. i arrived at the shop 20 minutes later to find the staff hadn't made my food and had not received my order. The owner of Jimbo's then spoke to me saying he thought my order had been a 'joke' due to the language used on the phone (the only colloquial terms used was 'fam'. nothing indecent was said). To which i responded that when a customer places an order on the phone you should follow through with it... he decided that now me arriving 20 minutes later rather than 10 minutes later was a problem. Again i said "even if i was 10 or 20 minutes late, the food should have been ready". He then told all of his staff not to listen to me and made a personal comment about my appearance as he told me to get out of his shop ... Overall was hugely disappointed in the attitudes of the staff, the way the owner spoke to me and decided there was a problem with my phone manner, then quite frankly bullying me out of the job. turned around to find they were all laughing their heads off at me.

I ordered food from here a few days ago and ive got food poisoning just like another person on here also mentioned. I dont know how you guys are still open. Im really convinced the postive reviews left on here are from family/friends of the owner. I ordered a new zealander burger and a large garlicious pizza. It arrived quickly but food tasted like sea salt and chewy. Ive not called the shop as just eat are looking into my complaint. STAY AWAY! Response to your reply.. I have no reason to give a unbiased review, food poisoning is food poisoning guys. Iv been buying twice as much loo roll since that night and also i have my email confirmation from just eat, if you require me to provide proof. Im not the only one whos expirenced food poisoning, before from your shop.

Just went into the shop. Tried the 9" pizza and have got to say one of the best I've had in a long time. food quality is amazing. Will definitely be going back in soon. And thanks to the staff, very friendly and quick service. Definitely recommend.

We ordered a delivery, Lamb kebab and lamb burgers and chips for the boys. Food was fantastic and arrived within 40 mins. You have to try it.
