Not sure if these guys were having an off day but this food was really quite bland and overall poor I’m afraid to say. Salt and pepper chips seemed like regular chips, not much seasoning or flavour. Crispy shredded chicken & beef dishes were soggy and tasteless. Prawn toast 4/10, best menu item. Hopefully they can step up their flavour game as it really felt like a waste of £40.

Ordered for the first time and maybe the last time. I had the Szechuan beef and was disappointed to say the least. It didn't have a proper sauce and the peppers were barely cooked. The ribs themselves were nice but again the peppers were barely cooked.

I’ve been ordering here since my friend introduced me to them, over 10 years ago! The food is consistently FANTASTIC, no matter what I’ve had from here, I’ve never had a complaint. The staff are polite when you call or go in for collection, delivery is also available! I highly recommend their salt and pepper chips as a side to dip in your main dish… you’re missing out if you don’t!

Respectfully no💅🏿💅🏿 I waited an hour and a half for semi decent munch. phoned after an hour and the woman has the audacity to say "sorry we're busy - nothing i can do". like excuse me miss I'm busy too still managed to complete a couple essays do some menial housework and order from your lousy establishment. I'm honestly gonna have to speak to a counselor over this ordeal cos I'm honestly scarred. a whole hour and a half of starvation just to scran whatever that was. all I wanted was salt and pepper chips and I got SaLt aNd pEpPeR cHiPs. disappointed is an understatement.

Excellent food and service always on time the minute you order, very polite and the food comes piping hot and very very tasty. I always order my food from here.

1hr 15mins for delivery not good

Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery and when it arrived starters were cold, beef main course tasted odd and sweet and sour veg dish smelt disgusting and tasted weird. Used to like food from this place but will not be using again

Good food but slow delivery and never ready when you arrive.

First time of ordering tonight and I was pleasantly surprised. We both ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and salt and pepper chips. The food was delivered in less than half an hour. Reasonably priced and tasted okay. I would happy order again.

Very quick delivery, portions were spot on, food hot and very tasty. Would definitely recommend. I had the salt and pepper squid, which was well seasoned and crispy, the salt and pepper tofu, again, tasty and fresh, and sweetcorn and chicken soup. a good balance of ingredients, tasty and hot.

Do not order food from here! Waited over two hours and when it arrived it was bland, tasteless and looked disgusting. Very disappointed and left starved. When we called to complain the lady (probably very nice but preoccupied with screaming children) just ignored what we were saying and did not care or wanted to compensate us for our meal. Avoid at all costs.

This has been our go to Chinese but last night ordered at 8:05 arrival at 10:30 with some free spring rolls as compensation. Unacceptable!

all the years have used this chinese never had a bad meal until last night.it arrived an hour n a half after i ordered it.the chips were rock hard and cold and the chicken was more coating than chicken.am very disappointed and hope there wont be a repeat of this.15quid down the drain.

Absolutely rank. 1 mouthful and straight in the bin: had no taste of Chinese what so ever : tasted frozen and bland. Ordered salt and pepper chicken. It looked n tasted like fried chicken with dashed salt on top. Special fried rice looked pale tasted disgusting and bland. I recommend Cranmer bank Chinese. That’s where il be sticking too in future. 👎🏽.
