Jerome's in East Riding of Yorkshire

Visited today, absolutley lovely setting, I had a relaxing coffee while my child played in Monty zoomers, MASSIVE shout out to Alana in Monty zoomers, she was kind, friendly and polite, I was sat in the bar area and could hear her playing and interacting with my child and my child was belly laughing with her. She is an absolute credit to the team, but over all service was excellent from everyone! Will be back without a DOUBT!

Quite a large establishment. I wasn't expecting too much in the way of quality food/service but I was pleasantly surprised. We were a large family group but were easily accommodated. Food ordering can be done via a QR code on the table. There was a decent choice of meals, burgers,wraps, pizzas etc. Food came promptly. Portions were generous. Food was tasty. Staff friendly. Overall a good visit. Well done to all.

We were really disappointed by the meal we had - 4oz classic burger with garnish and chips at £12.99. I have eaten better for £2 less than this. The burger did not look 4oz, the iceberg lettuce garnish was tasteless, the chips were like cardboard. They did not tell us where the mayonnaise was etc. We both went looking and in the end asked an assistant who told us it was opposite the bar and we found 3 large tubs of mayonnaise, tomato ketchup and HP sauce, which you pumped into a small container. I can say the coffee was good!

After a complaint made by myself regarding my order it was rectified in a friendly and efficient manner. In fact nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant manager Katie. A true gem of an employee.

whilst we enjoyed our fish and chips we witnessed a perfect example of customer service and young couple were struggling with a double push chair and a young lady ( Amy ) stopped what she was doing to go and help them it was a nice example of perfect customer service and a delight to witness long may she continue to work at this establishment she is a credit to them

We have been here many times but not for a couple of years. It was 6 in the evening no fish of any description, could not make a sandwich because they only have prepacked ones, no ice cream, we had 2 wraps which were okay, chips stone cold, coleslaw tasted off, the salad was warm. One of the barmaids would not serve me a bottle of water told me to to the other counter.

My children went in Montyzoomers whilst we listened to the music and enjoyed a drink. Alana who has worked the last 3 days we have been here has been amazing. So helpful and so lovely with our girls. I was so nervous to let them go in to the soft play but Alana went above and beyond. Bobby also worked the last day we visited and she was also very good.

Served by Danny and Mya. Great food and drinks with great service. Milkshakes are great and a good selection of beers...

We always come here every holiday, some times with friends, some time with family. This holiday both family and friends. I'm epileptic, I had a major gran mal seizure , if it wasn't for the staff at Jerome's, I might not be here. Thank you guys.

I had a lovely meal here today with my family, my little boy had a fall whilst we were there and the staff were amazing with him, they came straight over with some ice and gave him some ice cream to cheer him up. Big shout out to the manager, Katie and the manager in the play centre part (sorry can’t remember her name!), they were fab! We will certainly be back when we are next in Bridlington!

Our boys enjoyed the play area so much. As parents we felt so comfortable with the staff looking after our boys while we ate and had time with friends. Paris was on shift and was so kind and caring, alerting me when my youngest had hurt himself (through no fault of the play area but a spat with his big brother). I felt assured that the boys were having fun in a safe environment and burning off some much needed energy after a long drive down from Scotland. Delicious pizza and fab live music.

Special thanks to Will for the best battered fish we've tasted in a long time. The place was extremely busy but all of the staff still managed a smile. Thanks Euan.

Thanks to the staff (and weather) at Jerome’s & Pavilion who went above and beyond this weekend, catering to my mum and auntie’s needy demands.. jugs of iced water, Irish coffees made the way they like them, free little cake for my Auntie’s birthday, serving Asahi in a stem glass (that was for me actually ha), adding more hot water and milk to a perfectly made coffee in my opinion (mum doesn’t like them strong), I could go on… let’s just say ‘we can be high maintenance’. I didn’t get all their names (too many Aperol Spritzers - well they were £15 for two), but thanks Charlie for ensuring we kept well hydrated with even a bit of fruit in our water. Great venue right on the seafront with options to sit in or out. The food was lovely, especially the special garlic bread. Thank you!

Really poor experience. Very expensive for quality. I’ve never had a portion of fries served in a ramekin dish before and unsure whether the chicken was actually chicken. Fish and chips looked nice, but I think the chips were leftovers from the day before. Waitress was walking round with a glass, no tray, couldn’t find the tables, and the milkshakes really over priced for size……. £6.99 for a strawberry milkshake and 4 mouthfuls and it’s gone. Don’t waste your money and eat somewhere else.

Way overpriced food. The new fish and chips part I'd say was worth the money with hand made chips that looked really nice. The rest of our food was frozen chips.

The cocktails made by Paige and Jess where amazing definitely would come again just for the cocktails thanks to all the lovely staff that served me and the family

Friday 19 April. Dropped in for something to eat. Had 2 pizzas for £20, both arrived within 15 minutes, piping hot. Tasty, great value. Good drinks selection, friendly service. And there was a male vocalist/guitarist who did a great set. Probably the best place for a view of the sea and cliffs, while drinking. eating, and enjoying live music.

Fantastic venue, great atmosphere. Friendly staff! Drinks well priced, could not ask for a better view of the harbour front!

Came with my boyfriend for a drink and was really good. Service was excellent and the view was 10/10. Drinks priced well and amazing service would definitely recommend

Spent the afternoon at Jerome's food was amazing, cleanliness superb, factor in the staff Danny, Caitlyn, Lydia and Ben for making it a great experience. What more could you ask for the end of our holiday, just perfect and thank you x

There was 3 of us all had fish and chips it was lovely plenty of it in fact to much for myself didn't wait to long Katie Dan and jade all very helpful all staff busy all the times serving customers or cleaning tables

We are regulars at Jerome's and always enjoy our visits but on Saturday 30th March, Katie and her team went above and beyond to make it a perfect celebration. Thank you.

Staff absolutely amazing but it was so so cold even staff had goose bumps not an enjoyable place to relax while the kids play and food was bland and very average. All that in mind we would have stayed a lot longer if the place was warmer, the staff are exceptional and work hard unfortunately I don’t think it’s appreciated by the management.

Absolutely fantastic place and atmosphere, dog friendly, very friendly staff, kids play area all day so we could chill, food was very good value for money, even the light portions was a good portion, will definitely visit again

Previously visited and had food which was okay however after visiting today and finding out theres new chefs the food was amazing. I got fish and chips and it was cooked perfectly, Chris the new chef is brilliant! Try it people.

Well where do I begin ??. Myself and my wife came into this place on Tue 26/03/24 for lunch I went to the bar and ordered fish /chips twice with curry sauce and drinks total was just over £33 we waited 40 minutes after ordering and had no food so I went to the bar and spoke to a young girl who said yes you have had your food the food has gone to your table number 25 I said come and look for the plates and cutlery as no food at all was brought to our table after asking and having to go back to the bar 3 times I demanded to see the manager as nobody seemed to give a dam about my order the manager came out and he actually agreed with me and said yes your experience was wrong on the restaurants part and sent a customer care staff to deal with us yes we did get our meal and a refund BUT we also got the worst service we have ever had in any restaurant to tell a customer they have had there food when they have not and to be questioned by a junior member of staff is diabolical YOU WILL NOT SEE ME RETURN OR RECOMMEND YOUR PLACE TO ANYONE AT ALL.

From our previous experiences and last preview, we really should not of visited. However we decided to visit once again in March 2024 with little or no expectations, however on this occasion the staff were courteous and appeared willing to please. It was also noticed there is a new bar manager/supervisor (Danny) who appears to be turning things around. We even visited a couple of days later (Danny) was present and we were impressed by the significant level of improvement. Credit where credit is due, well done, lets keep it up and hope they don’t go back to their old ways, its a nice place with a beautiful setting, it does not need to be spoiled by inept poor management/staff, but on both of our visits this was never the case.

came here on sat 17/02/24 with my wife and granddaughter we ordered 3 meals with drinks at over £40 two of the meals was fish/chips actually it was 75% batter and 25% fish we come to brid most weekends and that was the worst fish we have ever had definitely not worth the money will.give Jerome's a swerve next time and try somewhere else definable not satisfied.

We went here to meet up with friends who were holidaying nearby. They said it was good.That was obviously pretty covid.Never seen anything like it. Tabkes uncleared for ages, inside and out. The dreaded seagulls menacing and attacking anything or anyone daft enough yo order food to eat outside.Inside not much better Maybe they were understaffed but the tables took an age to be cleared and cleaned Fortunately we were only in for drinks and even those orders took a while Not an experience I would like to relive

Fish & chips were cold , cheese sandwich was on stale bread with no butter, but however the kids enjoyed their meals despite it being lukewarm, lovely polite staff but rather disappointing for for £71 . Also drinks were all served in same size glass (but we were charged small £1.45 large £2.80). We visited during an extremely busy time, not that this is an excuse !

The bar/cafe/restaurant are in such a lovely position directly on the sea front. Sat outside to have a coffee during the day, which was really nice in the sun.In the evening we decided to go back for food as we were staying near by. Although food was quite nice, the restaurant could have been cleaner! Tables and floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned. Dirty napkins and left over food were left on tables. Staff didn't seem that interested in sorting this out! Such a shame as this put us off eating there in the future!

Visited Jerome's at Teatime today looking for a bite to eat and to enjoy the view offered by the outdoor seating area. We were met at the foot of the stairway entrance by a young member of staff who was seated at a reception table/paypoint and hadnt noticed we had entered. Although utterly disinterested, she managed to tell us to ' sit anywhere, grab a menu from over there and come back and order here if paying by card' before returning to her vacant dual reality.We found a table outside with a decent view, the choice bring somewhat limited by tables already taken by other customers and a number of tables taken by the uncleared tables of long departed customers.We choice a Pizza, a Portion of Chips and the Soup of the Day from the tatty menu we had picked up.On ordering and enquiring what the Soup of the Day was, we were told by the original staff member at the front desk that ' We dont have one specific kind of Soup'. When pushed she offered an ever more puzzling ' We have no Soup due to Covid'. Decided to order a Tuna Sandwich instead.The food arrived, brought by a very friendly young staff member. He explained when asked that no Soup was available despite remaining on the menus due to a shortage of chefs being employed due to isolation issues. This friendly, informative and fully understandable exchange was the highlight of our visit.The food arrived. The Pizza was obv premade and looked a little sad to have left it's frozen homeland. Saying that, it was thankfully edible , if average.The Tuna Sandwich came on two slices of stale, processed white bread, that had been given a passing look at some butter on one side. The Tuna itself barely covered the centre part of the Sandwich. It was accompanied by a limited salad that had limped to the plate.The Chips were obviously cooked from frozen and were functionally tasteless.Given the total bill was @£20, I was pleasantly suprised to see it included the added entertainment of watching repeated journeys to the bin area l,ocated within the customer seating area, by members of staff to dispose of various bags of rubbish and ,on one occasion, a large cooking pot of wet ingredients being slopped out into the bins. ( A failed attempt at a Soup of the Day possibly?!)The two stars are for the friendly serving staff.With so many places within all budgets and cuisines now available in the Town ,that offer a great eating experience, this is one to...Avoid

After heart attack when to brid and went to pavillion for some food,after meal I vomited not due to the meal was due to my illness, katie and staff was absolutely brilliant and especially katie she went well out of her way to make sure I was ok, including katie she got me transport on the house, but with me having my little dog with me they wouldn't take me. Went back a few days later to thank katie and all the staff. Once again thank you all.

Lovely helpful staff, food really good…..hot and plentiful…….I had the fish goujons on two different visits and they defeated me…I was unable to finish them but they were lovely. My husband reported his cod and chips were delicious. Service was good and quick considering how busy they were (hottest days in July). Plus nice seating with sea views both indoors and out.I’m happy to recommend to anyone.

Went for the day yesterday 21/07/21 my little boy thought it would be a good idea to go head first down the vertical slide in the play area cutting his head open on his glasses...front of house manager Katie was absolutely fantastic. I was emotional Katie calmed the situation down tended to my little boy, took him to get a slush drink and gave him a large panther Teddy after hearing that he wanted a big Teddy from the caravan site we were staying at. Katie made sure to check he was OK and came to see us before we left. Absolutely fantastic service in a stressful situation. Can't recommend enough it's a lovely place as it is but the friendly kind and caring customer service experience made it 5 star! Thank you Katie!

Great family lunch at Jerome’s with beautiful sea views in the old pavilion building. Katie the front of house Manager and her staff were all very friendly and helpful. When we told Katie that one of us is called Jerome and it’s rare to see anything with his name on in England, Katie came out with a bag of Jerome branded goodies including a mug - this made his day! So thoughtful and the food was delicious, pizza was cooked perfectly and the kids enjoyed their meals too. Very reasonably priced, food arrived quickly, overall it’s well worth a visit. Thanks for making it a fun lunch!

Great food and friendly atmosphere even on a crazy busy Saturday at 5pm. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Katie who greeted us, sorted out our table straight away and helped with the App to get our food to us in next to no time! Will definitely be returning.

Just want to say a massive thank you to Katie the front of house manager. We had been in for a drink and cool down before hand but then later on I was unfortunate enough to get stung by a bee whilst on a ride with my step daughters. I went to Jeromes and asked for some ice the lovely lady asked what was wrong and took it up son her self without been asked to reassure me and treated my sting. A lovely professional lady who I can’t thank enough. Will be going back in later and hopefully buy her a drink for when her shift ends xxx

Very poor quality food which we waited nearly an hour for. Could see a few other tables complaining on the wait for their food too. Wouldn’t recommend, we definitely won’t be returning.

I appreciate it was a warm day , and busy at the restaurant. However all five meals came cold three fish and chips, one of which was Ok, the other two very chewy, cheesy chips, a dish of chips with some grated cheese resting on top. Tea for two, the cups were tiny and by the time the food arrived all drinks were gone, we ordered another round. We could have paid much less and been got better quality. Lovely setting view of the sea, but that's not enough for what your paying. We really expected more when we arrived.

Went for the Misto Sundae, so many different flavours to choose from, was fantastic. One of the staff in particular (Ellie-May) was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We had a very good lunch here. You can order via your phone, but also order at the bar. You can eat either outside looking over the sea, or inside. Jerome's also have a ice cream parlour next door, and another one at the indoor shopping centre in middle of the town.Usually I find restaurant burgers a bit hit and miss, but I enjoyed theirs. The rest of my party ordered pizzas, and they all agreed they were the best they'd ever had. The soft drinks were a bit expensive for their size, (and weren't listed on the main menu) but otherwise the menu was well priced and had a good choice. We will definitely eat here again if we visit Bridlington in the future.

We went here last Thursday and we stopped because my little boy was hungry. When we got there the front of house manager Katie informed us there was an hours wait on food we said that’s fine however our little 22 month old was hungry would there be any chance of getting his out before an hour, Katie went and checked with the kitchen and come back and said that was fine. We ordered his meal separately to ours and then waited so we ordered drinks which didn’t take to long to come considering it was heaving. In this time while waiting Williams food appeared and we got more than we orders coz the kitchen made a mistake but they went above and beyond any of our expectations and it was a pleasant meal. We got our food and they checked back on us and they really couldn’t do more and at the end of our meal Katie came over and asked if our little boy was allowed ice cream we said just a really small amount and then it was here. We don’t get out too much as a family and we had such a lovely time the staff helped with our dining experience they were all smiling and looked smart even though it was very hot and busy the staff couldn’t do more for us or anyone and we can’t wait to go back.Me and my husband were blown away by the service they provided and this company are very lucky to have Katie as a front of house manager and her team. Amazing thank you so much for a great dining experience xxxx

Visted in May for a quick lunch. Ordered 3 toasties and drinks through the app and told waiting time was approx 20 mins. Over an hour later and despite asking 2 different members of staff we still had no food. Other tables who had arrived after us were brought their food and they'd ordered full meals! Eventually it was brought over but no apology from any of the staff we had spoken to.

The place was right on the sea front, we had stopped for a quick snack. Initially we found a table at the top end of the terrace but moved near the front. We placed our order through the app and waited. Forty five mins later no food. So we got up and went to get our refund as we had decided we wanted to get going. Customer services at its worst. She was so abrupt and rude. Any kind of negotiation was ruined by her bad attitude and obnoxious behaviour. She was so confrontational. She told us the food was on its way and we were told there was a forty five minute wait. This wasn’t actually true. The table we left at the top had two people sat at it and were nicely tucking into their food. Really disappointed with the service.

The eaten mess Sunday made by Ellie May was absolutely delicious. It defeated me. Thank you so much i will definitely come here again.

Really pleased with the quality of the desserts, and the quality of service, if your are ever in ask for Ellie May to make them because me and my friends can not fault them in anyway. And definetly will be coming back

I have visited Jerome's a few times now and have to say have enjoyed every visit. Katie has been there to meet and greet each time I've arrived. She is very friendly, informative and professional. The food has always been great and the staff are very good. Great place to drink and eat with an amazing view too. Would definitely recommend Jerome's to anyone who lives or is visiting Bridlington.

We stopped for coffee at Jerome's this morning. Was greated by Kate who booked us in and showed us to our table. Kate was very friendly and made us feel safe with ensuring we sanitize our hands and ensured the table was wiped down. Thank you Kate for a enjoyable morning coffee.

Service from bar staff was great, ordered a lemonade and a shandy - both were really good. Fab views from the garden seating and a very relaxed environment. Would definitely return.

We visited on a Saturday evening because we wanted pizza. We were told at the door there was "limited" availability on the menu. It was only when we found a table and ordered food and drinks, after a wait told no pizzas. Offered other food and lady apologetic and tried to make things right. Got free wine. And also a huge dishful of coleslaw to go with salad and chips. Noisy loud place, but great for young families.

First time using app & mixed up our order but thanks to Katie. it was sorted out. Will be back for lunch thanks Katie for such great service..

Quick stop for coffee and tea whilst shopping at the arcade. The table was cleaned before we were seated. Good separation whilst ordering with one way system. It was a pity the young girl cleaning tables and bringing out food had her mask low not covering her nose only her mouth. Good coffee and tea the only problem was the tea pot the did not drip from the spout it ran down it to the base. Why don't cafés just do a simple pour test before buying.

I'm not one to complain about too much food and I'm not going to start now lol. Unless you are feeding the 5 thousand or are so hungry only a horse will do don't double up the burger.What can I say, food was fabulous and so much of it.Views of the sea and beach really make it even better.Got to say the desserts are spot on too.Will most definitely be back, would recommend to anyone and 5 stars aren't enough.

Arrived after what had clearly been a busy day in the restaurant. Placed order via the very easy to use App 30 minutes later Katie arrived and apologised as items we ordered were no longer available. It was disappointing but Katie saved the evening. Nothing was too much trouble, she was clearly upset by the situation and did everything she could to pacify us. The result was a great evening with alternative food, cooked well and a really enjoyable evening. Katie - you deserve a pay rise!

We were seen in by Jasper who was very polite and informative, all the staff are very friendly and the food was lovely. Great views of the sea.

Ordered the Naked Chicken Burger. It was very expensive for what you got and the chicken was all chewy like it wasn't cooked enough, it was inedible. I couldn't eat more than 2 bites before I gave up on it. I waited for staff to come around and ask if the food was ok but no one came. I am autistic and struggle with confrontation and find it very hard to complain but I was totally ignored by all the staff anyway.

Had a great meal, I thought it would take a while to get us seated because there was a few of us but Katie got us seated straight away! Food was really good, we put the kids in Montyzoomers play area while we had a few beers.

Not knowing where to eat, a friend who lives nearby suggested dining here and luckily they had level access for mobility scooters, so we checked in via Track & Trace and sat down inside as the outdoor tables were taken - on a hot day it was sweltering inside with the sun’s rays coming through the glass but we persisted with it.We ordered our food via the bar but could have downloaded an App to do it but WiFi wasn’t great.Cod & chips plus mushy peas & tartar sauce arrived altogether (5) plus drinks. The fish & batter was very tasty. The prices were also very reasonable.Happy with our service & food but inside needs blinds on the windows to cool it down

Decided to call in for a quick drink & ended up staying all night, brilliant atmosphere for the England game, easy app to order drinks, quick service & a special shout out to Kian who was super helpful couldn’t have done anymore for us, lovely, polite young lad.

We fancied a proper fish and chips at the seaside and opted for a sit-in at Jerome’s. It was awful from start to finish and extremely unfriendly staff ! My husband had to return his cup because it had a tea stained ring right around it. The cutlery was filthy (my husband’s still had food stuck in between the prongs of his fork) and I washed mine in the boiling water that should have been for topping up the teapot ! The meal looked lovely enough when it came and the fish was quite pleasant but the chips and the peas were stone cold. We witnessed another table complaining about the same thing while we were there. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Amazing food , not a long wait, chief was really helpful ( antony I rhink ) highly recommend, burgers were great , lovely view and dog friendly

I’ve just been to the pavilion (Jerome) in Bridlington called in for a quick drink and I have to say I highly recommend this place very cosy good ales and food the biscuits with the tea are amazing and I want to give a shout out to the best waitress Ellie-May.She has been outstanding in her role nothing was too much trouble for her and she made us feel most welcome she is very jolly attentive and pleasure to have being served by her she is a credit to your company

Wouldn’t really expect to be eating the breakfast I’ve ordered with a huge greyhound allowed to roam on its leash from the next table ! Really put me off eating, dogs if not assistance dogs should be outside

Breakfast was good and nothing wrong with the service but I was somewhat surprised to find they allow dogs into the inside restaurant area. I'm not accustomed to eating my meals with a dog at the next table.

Stopped off here for a little snack first time visiting was very happy with the food and service. Used the app to order with no issues, only ordered a hot drink and a cake but stir really enjoyed out little sit down relaxing overlooking the sea front.

First time I have visited I usually go to Costa not anymore cappuccino was lovely the staff was very friendly and chatty. And I noticed as soon as I walked in it is immaculate it is a very clean place it is beautiful inside and I will return again every time I visit Bridlington my mum commented how clean it was and set out lovely.

Stopped off at Jerome's for some drinks and a bite to eat, me and my wife were greeted by a lovely young man called Finn who later brought us our food. He couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be coming again, excellent service!

The staff didn't really seem enthusiastic. The app to order food was hit and miss. Lots going on. Children's adventure play area, bar, resteraunt but no real atmosphere. Felt jaded and tacky. But the food was a lovely surprise. Delicious and well cooked.Not much else was open so not much competition. Ypu can tell.

Great place to sit and chill right on the seafront, can be bit chilli outside in the breeze, plenty of seating inside. Reasonable prices

We booked Jerome’s after hearing it was the best place we could visit for food and drinks in Bridlington. We were a bridal party - which obviously with current restrictions was really hard to manage - there were 19 of us but we were well seen to by a lovely woman called Katie! When we first arrived we had to be seated up at the top of the restaurant as there were a lot of us and it was prime time for family meals etc and Katie was unsure of what kind of hen party we would be. After meeting us and realising we were mostly older woman and not radge she said as tables became free we could move around the restaurant and sit where we wanted. The bride really wanted to sit outside as the weather was beautiful! The tables outside were all full at the time but Katie saved every single table in a line as family my family left to make sure we were all sat as much together as we could be without breaking any rules. She was an absolute superstar and I believe she deserves a tip for all the hard work she did to keep a group of 19 women happy!!! We had fish and chips for dinner and they were beautiful. Table service was brilliant and we loved that we could stroll down to the amusements and back whenever we pleased… though the waltzers after a couple of pints was maybe not a good idea!!! A massive shout of to Katie! What customer service. Thank you so much xxx

Had the haddock and chips, thought it was pricey, but when it arrived, wow, fish looked beautiful, tasted delicious and cooked to perfection, could of done with more chips but that's just my opinion, upon leaving i saw a chef coming down the stairs with a bag of chips and I stated that the fish was lovely and pass my comments on, he replied that he had done the fish and chips today and that's he's glad to hear I enjoyed it, and that if I could pop a review up it would go a long way, so this is to you chef ant, keep up the work, will be returning

Been in here a number of times but on last 2 visits we only wanted a sandwiche and not a full meal but was told no sandwiches at all on our last visit 18/06/21 was told not only no sandwiches but also no toasties as well was told we don't have the staff to make sandwiches well now you don't have a regular customer to eat them as we have paid our last visit here but thankyou as our custom was welcome at the café opposite the ramp near motorbike park who could make any sandwiche we wanted also others voiced there opinion to us and they was in the same cafe we went to JEROMES WELL DONE ON LOOSING CUSTOMERS.

The girl with half blonde and half black hair was so lovely, definitely made a difference to our visit, she made sure our dog had water :) she was so lovely. next time we’re in brid we hope to see her again! :) ALL the staff were lovely but she stood out more xx

Swift service and great customer care from fabulous staff, of which Jess gave very good advice on drinks for our friend group and ended up having a very enjoyable night.

One of the girls Jodie was very helpful and helped me work the Jeromes app. She was really polite and she also helped me and my husband when our food came and wasn’t quite right but after that the food was amazing! Recommend Jeromes to anyone and everyone.

Went for a meal sunday dinnertime i felt something drop on my shoulder asked my son to see what it was and he said its pigeon poo disgusting where people are eating if id seen them before we payed for food and drinks and they had been bought to our table i would have walked out wont be going there ever again

Just to say a massive thank you to Katie and everyone involved for making Father’s Day exceptional for my dad who sadly is no longer with us . My mum and dad loved Bridlington and dad always called for a Stella in Jeromes . We put some ashes in the flower beds surrounding the table where he sat when he passed away . After my daughter contacted Katie to say we were coming to have a drink on Father’s Day and was it possible to reserve a table where some of his ashes are . All I can say is wow totally blown away with the outstanding amazing welcome . Silver star balloons on a table saying reserved , as the grandchildren know grandie is a star in the sky . Stella on the table ready and a gorgeous lemon bun for my 6 year old granddaughter . This was all done by the amazing Katie . After ice cream for my 2 granddaughters . Can I just say Katie didn’t or wouldn’t take a single penny for what she had done not even the Stella to toast my dad . I have never for a long time met a more genuine kind hearted lady . If you read this please just pop in for a drink or food . My daughter had pizza which was amazing . Katie you really are a special person with the biggest heart . You would have laughed when walking away we lost 2 balloons in the wind and it was like erm no I’m heading back to jeromes . But yes we let the one go on the cliffs as you suggested . Can’t wait to come back we cannot thank you enough take care ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️xxxx

First time visiting here but not first time to Bridlington. After struggling to get served at our usual place we gave it a try. It was the evening of England v Scotland at the Euros. The App was useful and the food enjoyable but what stood out was the fact the staff (and there were plenty!) had clearly been trained properly. Efficient and polite even though they were non stop and the place was full. A lesson for other hospitality venues. Enjoyed the plaice but the batter was too oily for me, and husband demolished his scampi. Spirit prices more than reasonable. Noticed the time they open so it may be a brunch visit before heading back on Sunday - not ruling out a visit today either !

At last a pleasant place to visit with great food and staff that understand the present climate we are in and explain it in simple layman's terms for us old ones to understand thank you Katie and the whole team we shall be back on our next return to Bridlington, stay vacations just get better thank you Jerome's

We visited Jeromes not just once not just twice but three times! 15/16/18-06-21.Firstly it’s dog friendly!!!!!The bar is on the pier and has bifold doors looking out to sea……. Gorgeous place for a drink!! It’s like a sun trap inside too so nice breeze but still warm.The food was amazing! I had sloppy joes pizza my sister had fish & chips (we see why it’s award winning) and mother had a club sandwhich. 10/10 pizza was amazingly mouth watering! The fish and chips were cooked to perfection and mother enjoyed her club sandwhich, all at a resonable prize!The second time we had burgers and again they impressed!Last but not least the staff! They are amazing! Kind friendly they had good banter and were really accommodating to myself as I am disabled and use a mobility The team will understand thisStealth mode 10/10 Incognito mode 10/10! Special shout out to Kuan, Luke, Sophie, Blayne, Mark and Katie who were just an absolute pleasure to meet! When we come to Bridlington on our next holiday we will for sure be coming back to see you all. A delightful place to be and I forgot to mention the puddings!!!!! Deffo a must go to even just for a drink or even pudding who needs a main course Thanks again your team is fantastic and you deserve to be recognised as just that fantastic. My family and I dined here last week, we couldn't have wished for a better experience. Upon arrival wearing our face coverings we were quickly shown to a table (surprisingly fast considering there were 10 of us dining) Katie explained all of the necessary covid regulations for us to follow including their track and trace system. She was so warm and welcoming. Also, so helpful and understanding with my 3 children too.We will definitely be returning soon.

visited pavilion last week, amazing weather, good atmosphere and very helpful staff. Upon entry, got greeted by the lovely Katie, she was very helpful and told us how to order properly. The drinks were brought over to our table and the bar staff member Mark helped us showing the cocktail menu, also bringing them over to our table. highly recommend this place!

Went to visit for a hot drink on the crappy weather we had this morning. Staff were brilliant and nothing was to much trouble even had a chat with Callum the manager and I must say he is doing a great job with the place he was busy but still took time out of his day to stop and have a chat us.

I never leave bad reviews, but the service in this place has pushed me to want to warn other potential customers. The service was absolutely abysmal. I went a couple of days ago with my friends and the tables weren’t cleaned even by the end of our stay. A couple of waiters have drifted by, never bothering to ask whether we needed anything or to do the bare minimum and clear the tables. We had to move the leftovers from previous patrons to the table right next to us and they sat there when we got up to leave. The silverware they brought to our table was absolutely filthy, we had to wipe them down with disinfectant wipes because you could genuinely see the stains (which could’ve been either soap stains or food stains due to improper washing). The tables outside probably have never been wiped down by the state of them. The food wasn’t the greatest, myself had some smothered chicken and the onion was burned and tasted sour. Extremely overpriced for the service and food you receive. Unless there’s some serious change made, we’re not planning to return.

Friends visiting the town always seem to want to go to Pavilions so I indulge them. Again, about ten days ago, a friend and I went there for a drink one Friday mid-evening. It was fairly quiet. A handful of tables occupied at most. I ordered using their app. The young girl brought the drinks fairly promptly but when I tried to thank her/engage her in conversation/pass the time of day she abruptly turned her back and almost ran off.This is a Jerome's phenomenon. I've heard from other locals the same is happening at SALT (formerly Rags) which they've also taken over.Jerome's own the best situated venues. They would be queuing up the street to get in if they employed the right staff and trained them properly. Such a pity really! Wethies staff are pleasant. They recruit from the same local pool. So why are Jerome's so unpleasant?! It has been like this all the time I've lived here. One or two of the more mature barmen at Pavs are great. The rest won't even interact with you. This has to lead to lost sales, surely?

When visiting Bridlington this bank holiday weekend me and my wife decided to stop for coffee and a snack, this is a lovely little place to visit in a fantastic location as we had our dog with us it was ideal as we could sit outside and look at the sea. The young lady Tia was very polite and the service was perfect she couldn’t do enough for us and even offered water for our pooch. We will definitely visit again when next in Bridlington.

I didn't eat at Jerome's but went in to see about a first aider after a fall - Fin was absolutely lovely and helpful. Gave dressings and gave directions to local - well done Fin!

Despite there being a lot of customers to attend to, the staff here were incredibly helpful with providing the best service they could. My waitress Tia did her best to accommodate to me and my family and made us feel extremely welcome even though there were shortages on the menu. During my visit I noticed all staff were thoroughly cleaning tables and worktops and keeping the environment COVID friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Stopped for a coffee bit pricey but nice. Barstaff very welcoming. Weather cold because indoors not open.

What a shame a beautiful place with massive potential delivers such poor quality food and service. We waited 1 1/4 hours for food when it wasn't so busy. They had run out of menu options and when the food arrived they substituted even more - how can you run out of frozen peas for goodness sake. The hunters chicken was cold, the sausages were hot but the chicken nuggets were shrivelled and cold. Not coming here again.

Be careful how you order because if you order a Eton mess that claims on the menu it comes with strawberry sauce and it arrives with cherry sauce on delivery, it's your fault. You should tell them you don't want cherry sauce even though it's not mentioned on the menu. And the reason for that is because they can't possibly list all the ingredients on the menu. Ironically, the spec used to create the Eton Mess that was written 8 years ago makes no mention of strawberry sauce.And don't whatever you do complain to the general manager because you'll be given a long and patronising lecture about his allergies and be made to feel a centimetre tall until you lose your cool, get cross and ultimately get thrown out! I kid you not!Also be very careful if you order a cheese and ham pizza because apparently according to the general manager that comes with pepperoni! I was told this when i said but cherry sauce isn't mentioned so i didn't think i needed to say. Basically, take my advice, don't bother going or if you do want to chance it, waste their time asking for a full and complete list of every ingredient that will be in your food because you really can't be sure as their menu is misleading. And as for the customer being right. Not a chance. I left in tears because i was lectured and humiliated.

Always visit while staying in Bridlington. Such a nice large venue & seated straight away despite being bank holiday. Being dog friendly is a major plus point to us and we enjoyed some lovely food, cocktails and desserts really good too. The app makes ordering simple and staff were really friendly and efficient. Thanks so much. We'll be back

I would like to thank Tia in the café for making amazing desert's for me and my children. They came very quick and was to a high standard, they were a lovely treat for us after a long walk along the sea front. we will be visiting again very soon!
