Amazing food. Authentic Jamaican recipes and the Jerk chicken is awesome. Definitely recommend.

I would love to try the food, but the 2-star food hygiene rating is holding me back...

Jerk chicken, curried chicken or ackee and saltfish all are amazing! Huge portions great value and tasty 😋 Best takeaway food in town.

2nd time trying to visit this place. I give up. He even said they open when i called but when i arrived he was leaving. Opening times are advisory. Guy was ignorant and rude 😒 2nd visit still no service never again

Not bloody open! Typical. Nothing on website to say closed. Nothing on signage outside to say closed locals told us they on holiday. Really bad business to not tell your customers 😒

Moved up here from London, it’s been hard to find authentic Jamaican food. Hands down the best delicious food we have ever had, nicest guy and best service, will be coming again and again

Honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! this place needs more recognition.

This little gem is certainly not what it first seems to be. Tucked away in the Ivy Leaf Club is a small serving hatch behind which authentic quality Jamaican food is prepared and cooked. The Ackee and Saltfish I had was simply delicious and great value. Talking to the chef afterwards it was clear that he knew his cuisine and how to balance the flavours and spice. Highly recommended for those who love Carribean food and also for those who are prepared to try something new. You will not be disappointed.

Passing through St ives and saw the jerk up sign and strolled in, food was delicious, I will be sure to stop in next time I'm passing through!

Went to St Ives last weekend and had a delicious meal here! Realistically this is a very small kitchen, tucked away in some member's club (we think? not sure?). The guy running the kitchen was very friendly and his food was very nice, clearly very popular locally. (The prices were very good too - cash only when we went because his card machine wasn't working.)

The chef never fails to deliver top quality food. What else can I can, if you like quality Jamican food and haven't had 'Jerk Up' locally in the St Ives area then you haven't had top quality Jamican food!! Top marks to Chef Clifford. #Respect

The best I've had. I'm from London where there are plenty of West Indian/Jerk places and this is the best I've ever had by a long long way. Best food, best service, friendly five stars isn't enough, 10/10

First time trying Jerkup tonight. F o o k i n amazing! Had the goat curry, patties, fried dumplings and the other half had the jerk burger. All of it was fresh and very very tasty. Let's get these guys noticed!! Great food and honest prices. Cant recommend enough. 👍

I’ve enjoyed Caribbean flavours for decades, Jerk up has left me Genuinely impressed. Authentic Caribbean flavours, especially the Jerk Chicken. I’ll definitely be returning.

Have lived in St ives for well over a year now and was abit home sick for my sisters cooking, I tried the curry goat with some festival mac and cheese and jerk chicken I couldn't fault any of it. the food was not only spot on for heat but for quality if your bored of the normal quick food give Clifford's Jerk Up a try you will not regret it

WOW WOW WOW Some times 5 stars really doesn’t do a place justice and this is definitely one of those days. Food was absolutely delicious, the only disappointment I have, is that as I live in Ipswich, Jerk Up is just too far away to go to 2 or 3 times a week. TRY TRY TRY and you will be back

Lovely. Worth the hour drive. Hot and so full of flavour. Chicken fell of the bone. Can't wait to try it off the bbq. Lovely people. The dumplings and rice were also so nice.

Drove over 20 miles to go here, what a disappointment! The food had to flavour at all ordered the curry chicken and jerk chicken. Curry chicken tasted like it had been added extra curry powder but not blended together the taste was horrible and was very bland didn't have much flavour. Jerk chicken was very bland no taste to it, can't believe they call this jamaican food, I can make better food myself at home. Will not be coming back here again waste of petrol and money.

Excellent food and such great flavours. Well worth a try. Will definitely be back soon.
