Jerk n' Tingz in Dover

Finally got to visit this fantastic restaurant, should have gone a lot earlier in the year . The food was absolutely amazing, so tasty , the chips were amazing , thank you , can't wait to visit in 2024

Had to re order as didn't have ingredients for original order. No beer on tap, just cans of Red Stripe. Food was warm, portion size wasn't great and neither was the quality.

Pretty good, average food, not the best, price was alright but the quality could do with some upgrading. The service was pretty good

This is the perfect place for lunch or dinner. Of all the places near the hotel it’s the only place that does fresh, chef cooked meals. My favourites are the goat and jerk chicken. And you have to try the rum punch. The lunch menu prices are amazing.

Despite the Negative Nellies on here this place is amazing and they do nothing but try their absolute best! Thank you ever so much the meal myself and mother had was divine! The curried goat and coleslaw was melt in your mouth! And server although stupidly didn’t catch her name was very helpful too. Especially with tolerances. Only criticism. Would be no gluten free desserts. Especially in st James complex gluten free options are very two and far between sadly. I do hope soon more gluten free options are available

Having been previously for bottomless brunch, we were looking forward to a meal here again. Unfortunately we left feeling very disappointed. To start with their menu stated they had a cocktail of the month/week but when asked what it was, was told that there wasn't one! Also told that there was no beef brisket or prawns. When placing our order asked for beef shin mac and cheese, only to be told again they had no beef brisket. We didn't argue the fact at the time, but beef brisket and beef shin are two different types of beef! Drinks took ages to arrive and when did my mojito did not taste as it should (no sugar syrup), was made again but wasn't up to decent cocktail standard! Disappointed with our food, the dutty fries meant for sharing were not of sharing size and the dumplings were dry! A friend said the curried goat was very salty, so much so she could not finish her meal. After our main meal we were not offered the dessert menu, it was not even busy in there! Very much doubt we will return!

Sad to say this meal was the worst meal i have ever had and extemley pricey for the lack of ingreadients. pork belly was dry and overcooked with no detectable flavour other than pork and not cooked to order. rice was far to wet and unbarabley salty went straight in the bin (I suspect it was cooked in the left over saltfish water ) . the cheese cake was stale soggy in the center and again flavourless. Im sorry i couldn't face complaining in person.

Fabulous, very authentic Caribbean food. Very fairly priced, great music and friendly staff. Will be back.

This place does the absolute best food, from burgers, to wraps, to curried goat and everything is spot on! Could not fault it. By far the best restaurant in Dover!! U real cocktails too!

A fantastic atmosphere as you walk in, it’s like stepping out of Dover and into the Caribbean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is amazing not too spicy and full of flavour, beautifully cooked and presented. There is a really great choice of rums to try and cocktails. It’s like a hint of a holiday on your doorstep.

I was initially encouraged to visit the establishment due to the really high google reviews. However my experience was nothing short of an unbelievable disappointment. On arrival we were told they didn’t have the mango slushi and that they’d also run out of coffee. The jerk chicken i ordered was completely raw inside and had blood in it. I sent this back to the kitchen only to be told that the chef had said it was cooked but it was just the way it was “smoked”. Never in my life have I been served chicken that raw. The restaurant did not offer an alternative and didn’t even offer to cook the chicken properly, all while still expecting us to pay 90% of the meal. If you value your health and want to avoid food poisoning please don’t visit this restaurant.

We visited this restaurant last month and had a good experience, this month we didn't. Three out of the four vegetarian options were "off" and that hadn't been shared with us when we booked. We went elsewhere.
