Jerk House in Kirklees

Customer service was very poor from beginning to end. The patties were doughy and undercooked and the Mac and cheese is just pasta with melted cheese, zero flavour. So disappointed especially for the price. Will not be returning and definitely don’t recommend for those who want authentic flavours.

The driver was unsure and slightly incompetent.

Found Simon the owner at Filey food festival, only a limited menu available on his stall. Food absolutely amazing , Simon very attentive with every single customer in the Q for food before me . Totally recommend his food .10 stars

I order from this place nearly every weekend so when my order turns up and half of it is missing what do you do? Contacted the restaurant and was told the driver has stole it but still where is my money? I ordered something did not receive it so what do I do? Contact Just Eat? Oh I don’t really think we really care same as the restaurant don’t think they really care too but everybody got paid except me still waiting on a chicken curry from this place will not be ordering again and will tell all my friends

I have specifically asked to deliver the food not later than 1 pm as we have a short break at our workplace, but I received my order at 2:02 pm, and I don't have time to have it now.

THE food was outstandingly good has it always is however because it was delivered on a moped rather than a car alot of the delicious gravy was lost and was actually all in the carrying bag my food was in also again I believe due to been delivered on the moped the food wasn't very hot as it normally is from ur good self's.now please don't treat this as a complaint because its absolutely definitely not a complaint at all .I'm just sharing with u what happened so u can improve for next time .

My brother picked up my order a couple of days ago and I was disappointed with the quality of the food. As a Caribbean myself, I had high expectations and know how the food should look and taste. I ordered curried chicken with rice and peas with mac and cheese. The curry tasted nice but it was quite dry and the chicken was not great. The rice was okay but the mac and cheese was also dry and not cheesy or tasty. Oh and I had jerk chicken with it as well which was not great either. Wasn't juicy and tender how it should be and not enough flavour. Skin was just falling off with every bite. Sorry to say but I won't be eating here again, I would rather have my mums home cooked caribbean food.

Food was delivered with oils dripping from the bags to find out all the curry and all the gravy had been turned over into the plastic bag which caused everything to be absolutely covered in curry and an unbelievable amount of oil by the time I was actually able get the food out of the containers it had been at least 15 minutes to even get the great mess out of the bag ruined appetite and yellow stained counter tops and as all the curry had been poured into the bag the chicken was just a dry mess

First time ordering food was amazing and I would definatly order again... I have only one complaint not enough gravy was provided with the stew which made the meal quite dry. I didn't order extra as I thought enough would have been provided with the meal without paying extra for this.

Coleslaw was bang on!! Chicken was nice but a bit dry and chips were soggy but tasted alright! Rice was bang on too!

If you want food poisoning...go here...never again...chicken not cooked and advertised as being cooked all day...absolute rubbish. Every piece was pink 🤢
