I like the food so much I've been back three times in a month, each time with different guests who all love it too. It's not run-of-the-mill Thai food, the dishes are different and interesting, some super-spicy and others mild and mellow, with lots of side dishes to try as well. The must-haves are the sausage patties full of lemongrass and chill, eaten wrapped in lettuce leaves with chilli jam and roasted peanuts - a brilliant combination of flavours and textures. The Khua Kling red curry (we had the chicken) is similar to a Lamb - dry fried, punchy with aromatics and heat, and served with jasmine rice. The Burmese beef and potato curry is tender and mellow with flavours of turmeric and tamarind, perfect for mopping with sticky rice or piling on top of a crisp prawn cracker. Happy locals in the pub (Craft Beer Co) were tucking in to 'drinking snacks' like chicken skewers with Laos bbq sauce. The prices are very reasonable with many dishes around £10. Limehouse is a bit of a wasteland but the venue is right opposite the DLR station so easy to get to.

Limehouse is not a great area for restaurants so it's wonderful to find this place opening up in the Craft Beer Company on Commercial Road. The food is Thai/Esan/Laotion with a pub food slant, so pretty hearty, and good for soaking up booze - there's a slant towards deep fried stuff. The food is top quality and up there with best Thai restaurants in London - Begging Bowl, Som Saa, Singburi, etc. It has a good level of heat, but (possibly excepting the jungle curry which I haven't tried yet) is far from overpowering, and very balanced. Service is very friendly - super helpful in handling our baby and toddler - and the pub does great craft beers, which, given it's called "The Craft Beer Company" is to be expected. Prices are not cheap, but fine given that this is London, and the food is excellent and filling. The menu is quite small, and yet everything on it is good, so better this way than a long menu with mediocre items on it. Particular favourites are the slaw, and the chilli jam and jeow for dipping your sticky rice into. Thanks for coming to Limehouse, hope you plan to stay!

Visited en route to the Troxy. Friendly, modern looking but traditional pub with good selection of beers. Had to ask for my glass to be filled up properly - to me a Pint means it should be a pint - for which I've docked them a star. Interesting selection of Thai and Laotian dishes. We had a mix of 'snacks' with a chicken curry and sticky rice. Really good quality and taste and good value. Recommended.

In a busy pub. My first thought was how could the team produce what they promised from an old fashioned kitchen. They did! Don’t expect chic, its a real pub. But food was excellent, innovative and the right sort of hot! Our waitress excelled. Hope they find a new home when the pop up finishes in 3 days. A

Fantastic northern Thai food. We shared several of the dishes between 5 of us. My favourite dishes were the ceviche of Artic char mixed with herbs, lime, garlic and shallots - absolutely delicious; the crunchy papaya salad was bashed and flavoured to perfection - just enough spiciness and the ox cheek curry Burma-style with dill was unctuous; To finish I was amazed at the subtle but fab taste of the kaffir lime ice cream.

Had to write this review again (Tripadvisor confusion with accounts). Super fresh and zingy food, perfectly balanced and so delicious. The soured rice cakes are incredible so be sure to order double portions. Great selection of options to choose from which means it’s worth a return visit! Couldn’t fault it. Every course was sublime. Reasonably priced and great service. Incredible pop-up which will be the hottest ticket in town whilst it’s based at the Sun and 13 so book it! I’ll be back for sure.

Totally unexpected. Looked this up online and thought it looked great. Lived up to the mouth watering pictures online. Really enjoyed it.

Food pleasant, but limited menu; staff charming. Drinks from the adjacent pub bar, so fair pricing. All in all a good experience. However, booking is a nightmare and for no particular reason. If it’s that popular, it’s so small that booking seems unnecessary and made complicated. The night we went it wasn’t that busy and probably would have had more in if they just welcomed whoever turned up. Oh, and the portion size for the rice was far too small for such a cheap ingredient and the exotically named ice cream was positively bland. I sound a bit curmudgeonly but all in all it was a very pleasant evening.

What can I say? Early dinner before the theatre and had a fantastic selection of Thai and Lao dishes. Wonderful flavours and lovely spices. Go there.
