Jenkins bakery Exactly the same as all the other bakers of this chain, Pasties are my favourite with a good selection of meal deals

Just visiting for the day bought a pack of scones to bring home. The best scones I've ever tasted so soft and light wish I'd bought more . Highly recommend.

Tidy staff but food is appalling and has gone downhill, every pasty is always stone cold doesn’t matter what time of day it is, today ordered a brunch roll to find out the roll is almost frozen solid. Not sure what happened but this place has gone down the toilet.

Girl there forgot my order yesterday, after being side-tracked by her colleague talking about boys. I didn't listen, but I clearly ordered a large corned beef pasty, a fruit pancake, and put a trifle on the counter that I got from the fridge, colleague came in, she then got part my order...so I thought, she said 'was it just the pasty you wanted', I said ' a fruit pancake to remind her, as I thought she was referring to the savoury section,' so she went to get the order, I looked for my card, and found she replaced the pancake with the pasty, I said, 'no I wanted that in addition', and she said 'well I went and replaced it because you said you wanted the pancake instead'. I said no such thing, and if she made the effort to take in my initial order rather than allowing her colleague to interupt, then maybe she wouldn't screw things up so much. I clearly stated, my order at the beginning, not my fault she wanted to hear her colleague more.

This place in Carmarthen does not deserve 5 star hygiene rating. Pigeon inside shop for over a minute walking about.

Lovely bread and cakes, Best custard slices ive ever had, and the staff are very freindly, will always go there

Jenkins is a proper old school Welsh institution. I recommend the strawberry Manchester tart. The food is good (and cheap.) the coffee is decent.

Nice bakery . I love the sausage rolls here, I think there the nicest in town. :-) Also I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday, and when I collected it, I was very surprised as to how big it was , it was a lot bigger than I expected. It also looked amazing, and tasted delicious .
