Jen Cafe in City of London, Westminster

Ive been to jen's quite a few times and always enjoyed the food but i have never been downstairs before today when i used the toilet, The toilet is situated at the back of a long hallway and quite dimly lit, when i walked back down the hallway on my way back there is a step down which is not visible so i had a little slip but no real problem, my wife went to use the toilet shortly after me and fell on the same step she hit the floor face down banging her knee and elbow which was very painful. Be very careful if using the toilet here! Hopefully they will address this trip hazard as it it is very dangerous.

Best dumplings in china town by far. You come for the cheap dumplings - and they are the best in town! Cash only, so bring cash with you. Service is efficient, but don't expect a smile - that's not what you are here for. So leave your attitude and snobbery behind. Take a seat at the old green tables (often shared with others), pass your order to the woman who growled 'cash only' at you as you walked in and wait for the tastiest dumplings in town!

Food: - Packet noodles. - Miked dumplings. - Gristly duck. - Dirty utensils. - Vinegar pot and soy sauce pot both contained vinegar. Good things: - Large windows. - Sweet staff. - Great location.

Enjoyed their pan fried dumplings and noodle dish between the two of us. Staff was accomodating and was a nice respite from busy Chinatown.

Customer service was poor, the food was average and I had to wait a long time before I was even acknowledged. When I finally asked if I could sit in the manager rudely told me to wait. I won’t be voting again

Maybe the rudest service in London... The woman who came to serve us was so rude that we just walked out. Also, they put awful plywood and covered the lower part of those amazing high windows cute little place used to have (maybe to create extra seating space?) and ruined one of its most beautiful features: the enjoyment of watching the buzz in the street and passerbys from inside of this little cozy place. Utter disappointment! Hope the place soon gets a new owner and becomes again the hidden jewel it used to be.

Dropped by this place for a quick bite since I'd heard their dumplings are good. Ordered the meat dumplings which turned out to be disappointing. I've lived in northern China and am very familiar with dumplings. The skin of these dumplings was not just thicker than normal, but almost doughy. The filling wasn't very flavourful, nor was there enough of it. So it was just very starchy and bland.

I normally don’t like to post bad reviews as I’m sure some places are struggling after Covid to bring their client base back, but sadly I have to share my experience on this occasion. Came here last night after reading about Jen Cafe on the Chinatown website. Having read some of the reviews here, I noticed a huge disparity between them…we decided to risk it anyway, assuming that the complaints were blown out of proportion. Oh how wrong we were. We ordered a duck and rice bowl each, a portion of Beijing dumplings (the house special) and a portion of fried vegetable dumplings. They didn’t have half the drinks we wanted so we ordered alternatives, a Green tea and a soy milk. We received a 7up and a mug of warm yellow/green water that tasted vaguely of tea. The rice bowls arrived: the rice was hard and lukewarm, the duck was full of cartilage, bits of bone and had no flavour. We are huge fans of Chinese cooking and understand that it isn’t traditionally the prettiest food and often can involve the parts of meat that the English dislike but this was a whole other level. This wasn’t offal prepared well, it was meant to be a tender piece of meat. We made a valiant effort to try and eat it and we simply couldn’t bring ourselves to finish the plate. As more people arrived I felt pity for them as they ordered what we had just attempted to stomach. The dumplings arrived, also tepid and sweaty, containing unidentifiable mushy substances. If we hadn’t ordered one set fried, I wouldn’t have known which was which. I decided to get up and pay, as our server (an older lady) had been sweet enough and I was too tired to try and refuse paying for food we couldn’t eat. I made my way to the counter, and witnessed a fellow diner also pick his way through the duck and then evidently give up. A waitress came back with a new order, and as I saw the chef place a plate of meat and rice into the microwave, I gave up on any hope that this place was had an ounce of credibility left. I sincerely wish I had asked for my money back as I paid £31.50 for the privilege but I had no energy to try and argue with our server. I’ve come to the conclusion that since 2021 there has been either a new owner or a new menu at this cafe and, while it pains me to say it, I cannot possibly recommend Jen’s Cafe to anyone. Save your money. If you want an authentic meal I can tell you to go to literally ANY OTHER place in Chinatown.

Came with a friend and received old rice and yesterdays duck. No taste. Service rude. Chinese customers next table received nice fresh food. Avoid if you are not Chinese ;)

A no thrills restaurant where you go there to eat and then leave swiftly. The portions are big and good value and it's a reminder of a typical hong kong cafe.

Best Beijing dumplings in town. No booking, no credit card. May have to share table with strangers. Don't expect pompous service. Watch the dumplings being made, cooked in front of you and served. Nothing more, nothing less. ONLY CASH

Service is not a mess . We order noodle without soup an it was bad. Chicken with no temper and flavour . They forfeit some dishes . Noodle are good

The attitude of the staff member serving was nothing more than unfriendly and disrespectful. I had read so many reviews, but frankly do not come here if you want to be treated like an animal. Common courtesy and manners cost nothing at all! Staff should be sent for customer service training in manners to start with!

Love this little corner of Chinatown, wedged between two streets. It's not high end; the clue is in the word 'Cafe'. A plate of Beijing dumplings, which you can watch being freshly made in a corner of the cafe, costs £6. Excellent value for possibly the best Beijing dumplings in Chinatown. Add a plate of squid and you've got yourself a great light lunch. To the naysayers who call out the 'rudeness' of the service, I don't get it. Travel back in time to the Wong Kei restaurant in the 1980s.... award-winningly rude and worth every penny of it. On a good night you'd see a Vaudevillian fight break out between waiters! But Jen Cafe, nah, it's OK. You won't get ruded out here. It's a favourite lunch spot, a little slice of legend in Chinatown and long may it be supported. Cash only by the way.

This place is cash only but that’s not an issue. The issue is terrible food. We ordered fried dumplings, wonton soup and the special which was a combination of 5 “dishes”for £6 all advertised as decent portions as per the picture on the wall. All of them were bland with no salt. The 5 dishes were actually just a small spoonful of each with the majority of the box being tasteless chow Mein all smacked into one box so eventually everything tasted like sweet and sour black bean sauce. The only decent thing out of our meal was the soup in the wonton soup. The dumplings in the soup had way too much star anise and aniseed. Ungodly amount of both. The fried dumplings had zero flavor. How did this restaurant become so highly recommended? This restaurant put me off Chinese food for awhile and I’m Asian. Also utensils were so dirty they were practically brown especially the soup spoon. Should have made a run for it. The waitress handled our cash then with the same hand pulled the chopsticks out of the container to hand to me— super hygienic!!

We experienced an impatient server. When my husband went to draw cash before we were seated (its a cash only place) The server asked me ‘how long?’ Hey lady we don’t owe you anything.

Freshly prepared dumplings made to order, taste wasn’t the best but at least they were fresh and that adds to the appeal of this cozy restaurant in Chinatown. Cheap and cheerful dishes, the duck and rice 🍚 🦆 is my favourite dish on the menu.

We had the dumplings which were fine, but the soy sauce chicken was foul. Just a hacked up bit of chicken, bones and cartilage and even a small piece if the chickens liver. Left most of it. Wouldn't visit again. Price reflects quality I guess

Place accepts cash only. They don't issue receipts. Nothing so great about the food but hey the price is reasonable for a snack in the area. Do not expect too much so you won't be disappointed. I ordered the beijing dumplings and jasmine tea. This was enough for a snack.

If you are looking for a restaurant, look elsewhere since this is mostly a canteen, you will probably share the table with other guests, but this is what makes it different with a sort of retro atmosphere.We tried beijing dumplings, fried dumplings, won ton soup and everything was so good that we come here every week. The portions are not small and not overpriced compared to other nearby places.Make sure you have enough cash because they do not accept card payments.Definitely a place that I am glad to recommend ;)

Cozy and affordable Cantonese dishes.. duck and rice is my favourite.. fried dumplings also a great choice.. noodles are good and it’s a cool place for a cheap meal.

todat 29th december i went tp try Jen's cafe food,i ordered roast Duck and belly pork with rice,the was rice old and there was just few meat,many bone.there was aspicy max noodles which tasted so salty even the chilli was spicy but seemed like i bite into a ball of salt! Customer service was not even present,felt like i was just a wall.

Fue vendida por la imagen de una dama haciendo bolas de masa en la ventana, sin embargo, me quedé muy decepcionado ya que las bolas de masa no eran de buena calidad. Todos saben que la piel de la bola de masa debe ser delgada, sin embargo, las bolas de masa eran muy gruesas y pesadas. El servicio no fue tan bueno tampoco, tuvimos una anciana que era encantadora, sin embargo, una de las jóvenes camareras estaba masticando chicle y era bastante grosera, a ella no parecía importarle o no quería estar allí. En general, solo un servicio decepcionante! Deberían aprovechar una ubicación privilegiada en China Town y ofrecer a los clientes una mejor calidad de los alimentos y un mejor servicio al cliente.

Great crispy pork .rice a little cold...duck not so good ...tasty dumplings... delicious Ginger tea..staff friendly... interesting watching the dumplings being made in the window.. Small cafe...not for those who are looking for a fancy lunch but pleasant enough.

We come back here time and time again. Dumplings handmade in the window while you watch, by a crew of amazing ladies. Nothing beats these super-fresh delicate dumplings. All served in an authentic retro cafe, that never needs refurbishing. Perfect.

Abbiamo optato per questo piccolo locale poiché la guida cartacea ce lo consigliava fondamentalmente.Il locale è piccolo, non ci sono molti posti per sedersi e probabilmente non è il luogo che sceglierei per una cena o comunque un'occasione che richieda una certa convivialità, ma lo consiglio assolutamente per chiunque abbia modo di consumare un pasto un po' veloce in questa zona.Dall'esterno, attraverso una delle finestre del locale, è possibile vedere la preparazione dei ravioli, che di conseguenza vengono serviti freschi. Buonissimi i ravioli appunto, così come la zuppa con noodle e ravioli. Ho letto che qualcuno ha giudicato il personale scortese, personalmente l'ho trovato solo molto pratico, un modo diverso di concepire il lavoro rispetto a quello a cui siamo abituati.Se passate da Chinatown fermatevi!

Primero déjame decirte que este no es un restaurante de alta gama. Es una cafetería familiar con menú limitado. Si te gustan las decoraciones elegantes y los camareros que te adulan, ni siquiera entres por la puerta. Hacen las albóndigas y los fideos en la ventana y todos vienen calientes y frescos a los pocos minutos de orden. No se sirve alcohol, pero el té verde más refrescante. El precio es muy razonable y esto está en el centro de Chinatown. Si te gusta la buena comida fresca y sencilla, es el lugar para ti.

Elegimos el restaurante como se mencionó en la guía de Rick Steves. No nos decepcionó. Es bastante pequeño y sencillo, pero el servicio fue bueno a pesar de las obvias barreras del idioma. Tenemos las sopas de pato asado y el pato asado con arroz. Ambos eran sabrosos y de precio moderado. Consideraría comer allí de nuevo.

Pedimos albóndigas de Beijing y albóndigas de verduras fritas (saladas). La bola de masa de Beijing es carne de cerdo con cebolleta pero con MSG. Lástima porque podría haber sido bueno con el vinagre negro (también iría bien con el aceite de chile). La bola de masa de verduras fritas está llena de fideos y champiñones (más fideos que champiñones). Necesitaba condimento pero, de nuevo, el vinagre negro lo hizo saber mejor. El servicio para mí estuvo bien. Muy similar al servicio que recibes en HK.

Fui con un amigo y justo cuando teníamos un paso dentro del lugar, una señora levantó la mano para señalar una mesa sin siquiera hablar. Pensamos que estaba bien, al final tuvimos que sentarnos así que no hay problema. Pedimos unas albóndigas y una botella de agua. Cometieron un error en nuestro pedido y cuando le pedí que corrigiera lo que estaba mal, una mujer explotó y le habló chino a la persona que estaba a su lado hasta que yo acepte incluso el plato equivocado solo por hacerlo terminar y ella se volvió hacia mí diciendo solo 'ok cambiamos' como si fuera mi culpa. Precisamente pedí un plato, incluso lo apunté con el dedo cuando hice el pedido. No entiendo, de verdad. Si no fuera por esa horrible dama, este lugar sería mejor.

Enfin une alimentation authentique, difficile de nos jours de trouver des restaurants asiatiques qui n'ont pas été abîmés par le pays où ils sont installés, il suffit de voir les clients, se sont des chinois, les plats copieux à moins de 10 euros et un plat suffit.

Nous cherchions un endroit où prendre un snack durant l'après-midi et nous sommes entrés dans ce "café".

Wir sind hier eingekehrt aufgrund der Werbung "Tee Spezialist" um einen guten, chinesischen Tee zu bekommen. Die Bedienung war nicht sonderlich freundlich und/oder bemüht uns zu beraten. Wir haben dann 2 Tee von der Karte bestellt die gar nicht mal so schlecht waren. Kosten laut Karte 3,50 GBP - auf der Rechnung stand dann 10 GBP also Vorsicht ist geboten. Auf Nachfrage haben wir dann aber auch nur 3,50 bezahlt. Über das angebotene Essen können wir nicht urteilen nur das eine Asiatin, die mit uns am Tisch saß, ihr Essen zurück gehen ließ und offensichtlich nicht sehr erfreut war.

Así que había estado aquí una vez antes de mi visita actual y los dumplings están tan bien como siempre, pero esta vez, yo y dos amigos nos visitamos. Nos sentamos y nos sirvieron de inmediato, pero a un minuto de terminar, retiraron nuestros platos y prepararon la factura para que la pagáramos. Luego la señora se quedó mientras nosotros armábamos nuestro dinero. Como había retirado el dinero, solo tenía una nota de 10 y teníamos tres porciones de bola de masa, que son 6 cada una, totalizando 18, pero al tomar el dinero ella nunca regresó con el cambio. Esperamos hasta que tuvimos que captar su atención y cuando pedí mi cambio, ella me dijo que pagué en exceso y que era su propina y le dije que no tenía mi cambio y me dijo que la caja de sugerencias no se abre. Ella se rió de mí y mi experiencia con las propinas es que traen el cambio y luego dejas lo que te gustaría. Estoy realmente disgustada con el hecho de que ella nunca me dio mi cambio y luego me dijo que era mi culpa por el pago excesivo. Extremadamente decepcionado y no volveré ni lo recomendaré.

You have to love a Chinese restaurant that has a staff member in the front window making handmade dumplings! We enjoyed steamed and fried dumplings (juicy but indeterminate meat) and Soup

We stopped in Jen’s Cafe for a quick bite while we were in ChinaTown on a recent visit to London. I had read about it in some online articles and was excited to try it. The location is small but uniquely shaped so it’s easy to find on the street. Once inside, we were seated quickly and presented with menus in their small dining room. The service was efficient if not overly friendly. We were just there for snacks, we got some spring rolls and pork dumpling. The dumplings were very good, obviously hand made and nicely seasoned. The springs rolls were ok but were mostly pastry. I would have much preferred that there be more veg filling in each one so I could truly taste the veggies. All in all however, we had a nice visit and I’d stop by again if I was in the area.

This is my 3rd visit in the last month and I definitely will continue to eat here if the quality of the food and dumplings continue. This small delicious fresh and freshly made while you eat, so you know you are getting a fresh product. The service is super quick and food is very hot!! So be aware. This is a family business, small and convenient but top quality.

I really liked Jen cafe, it came recommended but I looked at the rather negative reviews and was not sure.

We were left with an unpleasant taste in our mouths after our trip to China town and Jen's Cafe. Feeling hungry, we thought a trip into China town for a bite to eat would be an excellent idea. It was raining so we quickly read some reviews, including one by Timeout and London Cheap Eats we decided on Jen's Cafe. Ignoring the rather 'rough around the edges' interior and imagining the food would make up for it, we were ushered to share a table with another gentleman. The waitress was in a big hurry for our order so we quickly chose duck with rice, a portion of steamed dumplings, one portion of fried dumplings and a jasmine tea. Worryingly so the food arrived almost as immediately as we had ordered it, it not only looked disappointing but tasted worse.

Simple menu, great dumplings and pearl tea. we went on a thursday night and got a table straight away. can't wait to return. great service too!!

Ho scelto questo piccolo locale che offre dumplings con poca varietà (Beijing dumpling, vegetariani e poco altro) ma fatti al momento, oltre altri piatti che non ho esplorato. Ci si siede con altri commensali in un ambiente piccolo. Perfetto per un pasto veloce o, come per me, per uno spuntino pre-teatro. I prezzi sono modici per la zona ed il servizio veloce. I dumpling buoni senza eccellere. Ho preso i Beijing e i vegetariani. I primi di carne di maiale. Porzioni da 7 dumpling. Per 13,5£ compresa acqua minerale.

The worst attention and tea of China Town. Don't waste your time and your money at this place while visiting the wonderful London.

I've felt really bad at this place: We asked for teas and as they gave as the tea they ask us to pay (till that all it's okay) but after they have the money, the told us: you have 10 minutes to drink it, we want the table free for other people. Moreover, they didn't explain my doubts about the menu . I regret coming here.

I can say that this place is really delicious and they make handmade dumplings But the service is one of the worst i have encountered since I am London. They were only repeating 'cash, cash, cash' and we were going to go to the Atm but she through us out with the words first the money and then the food..we were shocked in and didn't go back and I also don't think i will go there again. Always pop in here for a plate of freshly made dumplings when in Chinatown. The ladies are lovely, cheap and cheerful authentic no frills cafe - I will be back.

We get dumplings, spring rolls, bbq pork with rice and vegetable soup. All were served very fast and have to say it was unbelievable tasty. We never ate similar food, thumbs up

A primo impatto il locale può sembrare un po' troppo spartano,non ci sono tovaglie e le signore che servono ai tavoli parlano un inglese tutto loro. I piatti non sono pretenziosi,i ravioli(di.qualsiasi tipo) sono davvero buoni e freschi.

El café Jen es un café muy básico con un menú corto (y no barato). Pero la verdadera razón para hacerlo es por sus tradicionales albóndigas de cerdo al estilo de Pekín, cocidas al vapor y servidas solas (a excepción de la salsa de soja o chile). A menudo, una señora las prepara junto a la puerta principal. Son excelentes, pero un poco sencillos por sí mismos. Se puede esperar que compartas una mesa; También hay un pequeño mostrador cerca de la puerta, pero solo tiene capacidad para unas 20 personas en total, y el volumen de negocios es rápido. Sin licencia, lo mejor es mantener el té caliente, chino o crisantemo. Lo habría calificado más alto si los precios fueran más bajos.

Fuimos aquí para salir albóndigas de cerdo habituales que llegan rápido y son muy sabrosos. No soy un fanático de otras cosas en el menú, excepto tal vez la sopa de repollo y cerdo. No muy caro. No vengas aquí para ocasiones especiales, solo para comidas informales. El lugar es pequeño, así que estarás sentado junto a otros extraños en la misma mesa. Servicio no muy caro y rápido.

My partner and I were visiting London for my 30th birthday and whilst we were in China Town, we decided to stop for a bite and a drink. Came into the cafe and asked for a seat for two people, the put us onto a table where another couple just paid and hurried then out.

Locale nel centro di cinatown. Prodotto di punta sono i ravioli fatti freschi ogni girino sia stufati che alla Piastra. Non chiedete altro perché non all altezza. Personale poco.simpatico peccato. Pulizia e Igene al limite della decenza. Se volete provare non il classico.raviolo commerciale questo piccolo locale fa al caso vostro.

If your looking for a quiet table, smart professional service in comfort, this is not the place for you. If your after authentic Chinese food and your not bothered about comfort or who you sit next to with a busy but relaxed atmosphere then find this place and give it a try, the food, off a limited menu, is fresh, tasty and good value, a very enjoyable visit, an experience not to be missed.

Jen's is a great place to pop in to for a quick snack, and has its own particular unpretentious charm. There isn't a great deal of room so it's a very cosy place. And you can watch more delicious fresh dumplings being made as you eat. I have been 3 or 4 times now and it's become our first choice when in the area.

Dirty, toilet out of order, no cards payments, average food, broken front dors....nice staff. generały there is many other places In China Town offering better serviced and food for the same price. Cheap appearance does not reflectvthe price level.

No complaints, expect rustic canteen style and substance over style! The dumplings are delicious and a must have. We also had honey bbq pork and rice and that was delicious. Reasonably priced, worth accepting that it is no frills!

I read the previous reviews after ordering the food. They MICROWAVE food, meat is rubbery, doesn't taste good at all and to top it off all the staff just stare at you. Highly avoid going to this place. Don't do it to yourself.

The food is mediocre at best, which you think would be very homecooked because of the simple interior. Don't expect your mind to be blown, but OK for a quick fix.

The price is fair for what you expect in chinatown but the quality of the food was horrible. We ordered 2 meat combo rice, "Crispy" roast pork and BBQ roast pork. Tasted bad, meat tasted like you were eating plastic or rubber. Rice was mushy and tasted a bit like porridge.

Don't be put off by the small intimate venue. So what if they sit you in next to strangers sharing what little space they have - it's totally worth it.

Read a Time Out review that the dumplings were amazing so was dying to give this a try.

Chi si lamenta del servizio, delle signore cinesi, dall'inglese approssimativo, non ha idea di cosa realmente sia un locale cinese di quel tipo. Andate nelle decine di altri "ristoranti" cinesi se cercate servizio accurato (improbabile) e estrema pulizia.

Revisited Jen as hadn't been for a few years and nostalgia just brought me back. Can't remember what I had the last time I was there. The corner cafe makes an impression esp when there is a lady making dumplings at the window. I had a plate of fried dumplings which was £6.50 and some skinny fried from frozen spring rolls for £3 which was way overpriced. The dumplings were OK. I didn't think they were special & were certainly not worth £1 each! Service was pretty brusque. I like the old style, retro feel of thr cafe but can't say the food is anything but average.

Instant noodle with tiny pieces of meat. I was shocked when they served that to me.For the price I could get something better. Its really something a student would put together

Holy cow, what a disgrace to any Chinese restaurants anywhere on the planet of this earth. The food was awful and the specialty drinks, yuk disgusting. Seriously they call this place a restaurant, selling good to paying customers, really?

Ordered Soya Chicken with noodles in soup for £7.50, you actually get serves instant paket noodles with a powered soup base. Staff were nice but won't be back to a place that serves noodles like this...

Jen's was recommended to us by a friend and we were not disappointed. The dumplings especially were really nice and fresh! If you are looking for a fancy and superbly decorated Chinese place, this will probably not be for you, but definitely worth to go there for a quick dumplings fix.

We regularly visit for the legendary dumplings but today we got served an undercooked spring roll and staff did nothing. Beware of being short changed and ensuring food is properly cooked

Came here for a quick bite and got the classic Beijing dumplings. Service was efficient and they came quickly, but were disappointing - boiled too long, the skins were falling apart and half of them had ruptured. Bad texture and tasteless!

We were hoping for a simple snack and instead got snappy surly service from an older lady who seemed to be the owner. That would all be excusable if the dumplings were tasty but they were very very average. I won’t be back!

Well, the husband was happy with his belly pork and rice! I ordered the spicy pork with noodles and was a little disappointed - didn't expect minced pork but the noodles were really good (and handmade). Made the mistake of ordering the Beijing dumplings - should have had the fried ones. Still, very tasty and handmade. Not sure if I would go back, will try other places in the area first. Good value for money.

Bolas increíbles y el wonton sopa es deliciosa. Esto no es sencillo. cafe lujos No tiene cosas. Sólo dar una oportunidad a la comida. Barato, teniendo en cuenta la ubicación. Tengo entendido que algunos no le gusta este sitio, pero comparado con otros establecimiento pesado de neón es verdad el gusto de guiso. Si la sopa wonton es saludable en un café, sabes el resto estará bien. Volveré

The best dumpling in London only £6, worth every penny. The BBQ pork and rice is also amazing. This is my go to restaurant when I am in China town (Soho). It is definitely worth going if you are ever in London.

Elegido para probar este lugar como vimos a alguien bolas plegables en las ventanas. Sin embargo, como alguien que tiene un fondo chino, por desgracia, puedo decir que este lugar es uno de los peores restaurantes chinos que incluso han comido!

Me encantó todo lo que comimos dos veces me fui. Tuve increíbles bolas fresca (fritos y huevos duros) como si nada he probado en un restaurante chino en Europa. La sopa de fideos es también muy bueno. Recomiendo este restaurante a todo el mundo que viene a Londres y quiere un bocado rápido y delicioso.

Sigo volviendo aquí cada vez que estoy en Londres. Ofrecen comida china muy sencilla y deliciosa hecha a mano (en el lugar) damplings. La camarera no siempre habla un inglés fluido, pero todavía conseguir el orden justo. Es rápido, sencillo y barato. Y sólo en efectivo!

Este es un lugar bastante simple y efectivo sólo - pero el buñuelo son deliciosos! Muchas opciones vegetarianas para elegir, seguro que volveremos! El personal era muy amable y servicial, aunque su inglés no es la mejor (aún era fácil de orden y comunicarse).

Fuimos para el almuerzo durante el día de trabajo. He estado allí antes, el servicio siempre ha sido terrible, pero era agradable y decente bolas de parte de tamaño. Desde entonces, han aumentado el precio por un poco.

This cafe doesn’t look much from the outside but do yourself a favour and go in. It’s a traditional dumpling cafe and is really tasty if you want traditional dumplings. It’s a basic menu that’s cheap and tasty. Do note it’s cash only.

Fuimos en una semana y pedí un sopa de fideos. Pero cuando la orden llegó, es imposible remotamente coincidió con la descripción del menú. Lo que vino después fue un pequeño plato de fideos fusilli que parece en miniatura con una salsa de su valor turã stico y algunas juliette pepino. Pedí cortésmente si podía cambiar como me esperaba fideos con sopa (como en el caldo! Después me dijeron) pero por la señora que nadie se consumen la comida que he ordenado si lo cambiaron. Sé que estaba dentro de mi derecho a cambiar, pero decidió no discutir. Yo estaba horrorizado por su respuesta arrogante y pagamos por la comida intacta y a la izquierda. No recomendaría a nadie para ordenar del menú a menos que venía con fotos. No puedo comentar sobre la bolas.

We were looking around Chinatown for some more low budget place for a quick lunch, we were not disappointed! There was 6 of us, somehow we've squeezed in (the place is quite small). Each of us ordered something else from the menu to see how it goes, dumplings, duck noodles and spring rolls were perfect, cheap and really filling. Quick, no-bulls**t service, food was hot and really good, I will probably go there again next time I'm around.

Buñuelos deliciosos recién hechos, y té. Es muy pequeña, y sí tienes que compartir la mesa, pero eso lo hace para un cambio agradable y amable. Perfecto para un aperitivo, con un servicio muy eficiente.
