Jazz's Fish Bar in North Tyneside

I would 10/10 recommend this place for the incredible customer service for the lovely and friendly lady who I believe is part-owner too, regardless she is doing an incredible job so much so I would hurry back to support this small business for the service alone let alone the lovely fresh chips , which are clearly cooked in clean oil and they also serve pizza , kebabs and fish too . Please support this small business if you’re in the area - they really deserve your support , without us small businesses suffer . So check Jazz fish bar out for some quality munch for a great price !!

Good prices, good service, good portions. The chilli sauce is actually spicy, which is a nice change from the usual red sauce with the tiniest hint of chilli.

THE best chippy curry ever. Amazing chips. Fresh buns on the butties to. A local institution that's been 100% for years

Had a lovely takeaway tonight, fish bites and chips for the littlun, mixed kebab with salad for me. Fish was spot on with a nice crispy batter, 10/10 from my son 😆 chips also great. My kebab was very nice with fresh salad. Friendly service and decent value, can't ask for much more 👍🏻

Edit: been again several times since. Food always nice, friendly owners and brilliant prices - still. Absolute bargain price takeaway in these times. Food is always hot and cooked perfectly and it's run by some of the nicest people. Has a rare Gold 5* Scores on the Doors too. A gem in the community.

Please be honest I went here today based on reviews. Chips dry looked barely cooked. Thick glue like batter that was sogy and fish was old dry and flaky. The beefburgers burnt both side bun also burnt. 6 meals all went into the bin.

Cheap and huge portions. Chips are delicious and curry sauce is one of the best I've had.

My word, I've not been in a while but the small Kebab and Chips I ordered was amazing, the chips where cooked to perfection and i mean perfection, crispy on the out side fluffy like a cloud on the inside. Heed the warning about the chilli sauce it's nuclear. Amazing meat to. Super friendly owners always full of smiles.

Fantastic little chippy, food is always really good no matter what you order to top it off the owners are lovely. Would recommend.

If i could leave zero stars I would. Bought cod and chips worst ever. It was all batter and no fish and what was there was what looked like small pieces stuck together. And dont even ask about the spam fritter yuck Definitely will not be going there again

Best tasting Kebab meat in the North, nice garlic sauce and chips. Pity they didn't do the proper Kebab salad to go with it, like the pickled cabbage, Jalapeño etc, if they did it would be the best Kebab in the UK and Spain!!

Love it really nice and friendly staff food unreal came on Saturday and back again on Monday think I have found my new chip shop thank Mark and shola from South Shields :)

I love Jazz's fish bar because: 1. They were open on boxing day 2. Jazz and his wife are super nice people 3. The fish and chips. OMG. Superb. Crisp batter, lovely fresh large pieces of fish. Do not be put off by the fact that they sell kebabs and pizzas and the like... this couple really know how to make battered fish!! Even the Dutchman was impressed and he's normally super-snooty about English fish and chips. Thank you Jazz! We'll be back.

Charge a different price every time I go in for the same meal and it is a bit dirty, food tastes cheap the picture is supposed to be a sausage but I'm not sure what meat is in it.

Great place. The food is consistently good and the couple who run the chippy are lovely. Won't go anywhere else when we fancy a chippy tea! Best chips in the area, by far!
