Bazil in North Tyneside

Food is second to none. Delicious. Staff, even though only one person was lovely and friendly. Didn't meet the chef. He's the manager and wouldn't disclose where he gets his steaks from, haha. Tried my best to find out as they were beautiful. Vegetables cooked to perfection. If there was any criticism, it would be the lack of decorative items in the restaurant and needs softer lighting. Could just do with a few plants as it looked a bit bare. I'm not putting this place down at all, though. Food is the most important and highly recommended and worth a visit.

The entire cost at the restaurant was £54. That was for two ribeye steaks, two glasses of red wine, a bottle of prosecco, two starters, and two desserts 😳 Couldn't fault the place in any way 😀 x

Sirloin steak cooked beautifully and tender x onion rings ,home cooked chunky chips side salad 🥗 a fried tomato 🍅 and mushroom 🍄 with Diane sauce delicious x been here 4 times and will continue to go back more x

Food was absolutely amazing, pate with warm bread for starters followed by steak, chips & onion rings, the steak was cooked to perfection and clearly top quality steak, homemade chips 😋 the young girl serving ,Gabby, was so lovely,couldn't do enough for us, will definitely be back.

Cracking visit! First time. Groupon voucher used like the majority of people there. Starter of wings, super fresh salad, and really well cooked, crunchy yet juicy wings. Steak and wine x 2 for £20 is such good value. Steaks are well cooked, and whilst they aren't super thick, what can you expect for such a low price. Staff member there was very efficient and friendly, the owners surely get their money out of them!

Took my daughter here on a Groupon voucher. For the money it was great, steak dinner with a glass of wine for under a tenner each. Not a huge meal but nicely cooked. The waiting staff were lovely and we enjoyed our evening. Thank you!

Fantastic place to visit, me my husband and daughter went and honestly food was delicious. Everything was so fresh and yummy, chips were thes best I've had in ages, non of this frozen stuff. All home made crispy chips. The steak was perfect also. The brownie and ice cream was also so nice. Already booked my next visit. The young lady who was serving was so helpful and very pleasant too made us feel so at home. Thankyou

It could do with making it a bit welcoming on the outside, weeds at the entrance etc. The layout is a bit sparse and there's no real ambience. However the girl who welcomed and served us was very pleasant. Our steaks were cooked to perfection.

First visit to Bazil and won’t be my last. The food and service was amazing at such a good price! Loved it we’ll be back very soon 💜

We were bought a meal voucher for Christmas by a family member but never seemed to have the opportunity to use as they are only open weekends. On entering the venue we were greeted by a Very friendly waitress (Gabby) who showed us to our table and explained what meal was on the voucher. I had the ribeye and my wife had the sirloin both cooked to our liking and well presented. The tempura prawns with chilli jam starter was very nice. Although the restaurant looks a bit like a hotel reception don't let this put you off. If paying you will find it's very reasonably priced and well worth a visit

From the minute we went, totally impressed by the decor. Front of house was friendly, polite and very helpful. Food was really good,had lentil and bacon soup, really hot and delicious Steak was excellent and cooked to perfection. From start to finish a fantastic experience and we will definitely visit this establishment again

Enjoyed a sirloin steak and glass of wine which were spot on. We had a portion of onion rings which we both agreed were probably the best we've ever had. The staff were efficient and the venue was pleasant 👍

Got a groupon for a steak night here and I must say it was great from start to finish. I had booked my groupon in six weeks ago (expiry date 19th Feb) but something came up and we couldn't go so I phoned to cancell and explained that it was soon to expire, but I was told that if I gave them the code they would redeem it and I could come at a later date to suit us a Lady called Kelly sorted this for me which I thought was very accomadating. We booked up for 22nd March on arrival we could not have been made more welcome by the young girl serving (sorry never got her name). The food was excellent for all four of us three of us choosing our steaks cooked in different ways but they were all perfect, the young lady serving us continued throughout the meal to be friendly chatty and very welcoming iv got no hesitation in recommending this place.... Keep up the good work and thanks Bazil brasserie

Had a Groupon deal for a steak meal with wine. (Saturday night) Really good value. Gabby kept us served and amused all night. John in the kitchen did his part with a well cooked steak. Ambience was good.

Very quite but the food was excellent.
