These guys are the best. Their hot and sour soup is always piping hot and the perfect amount of spice, and they are kind enough to replace chicken for tofu every single time which is much appreciated!

It's a takeaway. 30min more waiting for collection on Friday evening. Alot faster when I went back yesterday. Really good food at a reasonable price 😀

My boyfriend ordered some salt & pepper chicken wings which was over cooked and tasted burnt The duck was very fatty, the chilli was just left on the side, the food also tasted very plain… I usually order from this place and have no issues but today was different

I order vegetarian Chinese food and its superb very tasty and nice. You must try sometimes. I ask them but they deliver 2 miles and under.

Ordered a late night dinner - sweet sour chicken 3/10 (too vinegary/chewy/overcooked) salt and pepper prawns - flavourswas there but the prawns were too crispy on the outside and chewy/rubbery on inside (4/10) egg fried rice (9/10) plain chow mein (8/10) and crispy seaweed, I asked for no sugar on the seaweed however it was already premade for the day so the worker sent me a free portion of vegetable spring rolls so I appreciate that. The food was great overall will definitely be ordering from lams kitchen again.

Have been ordering from Lams for many years. Recently I had problems with a couple of orders, and it turned out that they have changed ownership. This last order was ridiculously bad. My bf and I ended up throwing the whole thing away. We called to complain, and no compensation was offered. We will NEVER order from them again, and told them so!

Great food. Everything was cooked well and enjoyed the meal overall. Portion sizes were very good for the money too!

Stupor driver won’t come to the door too ok deliver your food bloody idiotic driver we always order here but since the pendemic this driver never delivered to our door what and idiotic driver they need to change there driver because this man is losing business for lams kitchen next time if he don’t deliver to our door we will cancel the order

Best Chinese I have had in whole UK to be honest. For this price you can't beat it! I have eaten their food on and off for over 2 years and it never missed the taste and quality of food, Never! Now I moved and I still get only this Chinese ;) Go and try for yourself.

Just ordered chicken balls and a box meal for one. Very well value for money as it was under £12. The chicken to batter ratio was excellent, hot and polite service from the lady who served me. Was my first time ordering food and will deffo order again.

I found my favourite Chinese in the area 😍. Food is always consistently fresh and tasty! It's a bit more expensive than some other Chinese places, but the quality is also better! I usually allow about an hour for food delivery.

Lams is great for prices,portions & fast friendly service,the only problem is the location for parking(but they do have a home delivery service too)another decent Stratford area Asian take away.

Disappointed, it's a shame because when they choose to accept my order the food is nice. They have constantly cancelled my order over 40 pounds. I was told to order again to pay by cash sure fine then they cancelled again?! My husband called and the lady now says there's no driver's?! Very unfair to mislead customers that will become loyal. We won't bother again, will stick with good friend Chinese.

The chef in this place is the best Made my meal very tasty and fresh . Have to say the best tasting food even better then the high end restaurant in soho Chinatown.

Have used them regularly for about 6 years now. Customer services especially from delightful lady taking orders over the telephone and their amazing delivery driver is outstanding. Food is always delicious, hot, delivered in no more than 30 mins usually 20 though but I order around 10pm. One mistake in 6 years with item forgotten. They were most apologetic and processed a refund for missing item immediately. They’ve also gone environmentalally friendly with their containers. 100% would recommend and they have some get set meals and dinners. Incredible value and great service.

My favourite take away / delivery restaurant. Food is done very quickly, and it's very very nice.My favourite dishes are the vegetables spring roll and the rice noodles with king prawn in a black bean sauce. Everytime I'm in the area I stop by to order some food. ❤️

The quality of the food has gone down. The rice now lacks in flavour and they have cut back on the amount of choi mein served in the house special. I will not order from this takeaway place again 👎🏻

I tried this place due to coming down and visiting family and got a large order delivered through just eat food was bland soggy chow mein tasted strange like some kinda chemical I have tried many of Chinese takeaways in my time and this place is up there with some of the worst I have had.

Before covid it was a lovely takeaway now all you get is pre cooked food chucked in the microwave I've now deleted there number, shame

Outdated £10 minimum payment by card policy! Specially in these unprecedented COVID-19 times ..... COULDN'T PAY £8.80 with my card..... been asked cash or £1 extra 😁 Never coming back again ....

So iv used this place 4 times and last night I placed an order and received and I have to say we were absolutely disappointed ☹️ The last few orders have been good but this was not good and they have had a off day- regardless it was a bad batch of food.not using again. I ordered food again from lams just I believe giving a second chance and tbh the food was really nice, thoroughly enjoyed it! They thought I would not show but I’m. It that kind of person and will continue to use them as long as the standard is consistent. I probably caught them on a bad day with my last review which I get that however I like to enjoy food that I purchase. So well done lams keep up the good work👍🏻💯👊🏻❤️😉

Got the message to say the order was out for delivery. The restaurant is only 1.4km from our house. Despite that, the food arrived 55 minutes later from a sullen driver who offered no explanation or apology. food tasted like it had driven around for 55 minutes. Chips were so cold and soggy that they went straight in the bin as they were inedible. Goyza were a wet soggy mess too. Rice and curry (which was weirdly oily) was cold and had to be heated up. Chow mein was basically just noodles and chicken (no veg whatsoever) and the meat was very questionable as it had some nasty bits of cartilage or something (at least I hope that’s what it wash. We’ll be switching back to our regular place!

The staff are friendly, polite, and quick the food is tasty and always cooked in a timely manner had some bad experiences with Chinese take away places in the past and decided this one will be my go to from now on because I know I will be happy every time

Food was very bland - the rice tasted like microwave rice however what is more worrying is that there was an issue with the sweet and sour chicken and they agreed to amend it if we exchanged the incorrect dish for the correct dish when the delivery driver arrived.... ummm what is going to happen to that food? Is it sold on to another customer even though its been outside the restaurant???🤢 For that reason I cannot recommend this takeaway. The only good point is that the lady on the phone was very professional and polite hence the 2 stars.

I wouldn't recommend the 'House special fried rice' as I had to throw it all away because the smell and packaging bothered me a lot. Great service and excellent waiting time. I'm definitely going to be back to try some more dishes since this is very close to where I live, and I hope I can find one that goes well with me.

I ordered from this place several times and the food was delicious! Customer service is brilliant, I was greeted with a very welcoming manner and was spoken to in a friendly way. I had absolutely no issues with Lam's kitchen. Would definitely keep coming. Every time I ordered whether it was through the phone or walk in, I just built more trust in them!

I am fairly new to the area and I have been here a few times now. The staff were super welcoming and accommodating! Delicious food, delivery is mostly always on time and served piping hot. Definitely will be my regular now.

Honestly would consider this takeaway as one of the best Chinese takeaways that I've ever been to. The staff there are friendly and passionate, and the lady that works at the counter is really nice!! I ordered through the phone pretty late in the night, around 10:40pm, near closing time, but they were still more than happy to take my order. When it got here, the food was indescribable - lots of flavour. It was super delicious! Would definitely order again!!

IMPORTANT REVIEW READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY HERE!!!!!!!!!!! FOUND AN ANT IN MY SWEET AND SOUR KING PRAWNS AT BOTTOM OF THE CONTAINER IN THE SAUCE!!!1.I told the restaurant the ant is floating in my food, the chef came on the phone and was VIOLENTLY AGGRESSIVE, SPOKE TO ME LIKE AN ANIMAL, and accepted no liability despite me offering to return all of my food with the delivery driver for a full refund, I was called a liar, and was screamed at to the point I felt like a military gunman was going to attack me. I felt very tearful and upset afterwards, AND HAVE NEVER BEEN SPOKEN TO IN SUCH A DISGUSTING, AWFUL, AGGRESSIVE, VIOLENT, ANIMALISTIC FASHION IN MY ENTIRE LIFE BY A RESTAURANT (CHEF). 2. The lady answering the phone was polite on the phone (I believe the daughter to the chef), however initially she refused to offer a refund, I insisted the driver return to have a look at the ant and take all my food back......after a verrry long conversation and stating that I have been treated awfully, and left hungry, and with an ant floating in my food. They agreed to send back the driver who came with a partial refund in cash. I refused to take it as I gave him all my food back. I explained that I didn’t want a partial refund under the circumstances and should be offered a full refund and compensation. The lady on the phone Vivian was not well trained on customer resolution she was more concerned about profit than customer care: First she insisted that no refund is allowed despite a floating ant in my food. Then she said they would only do an exchange. To which I explained if I received an ant floating in my food why would I want an exchange??. Then I was offered a partial refund. And after great DEBATE, explanations on how to resolve matters only after prompting, explaining how vile her father had spoken to me, how unfairly ruthlessly I had been treated and how I could of eaten the ant had I of not seen it, did she then agree to refund my order and call Just Eat. KEEP AWAY!

Love the takeaway here, food always tastes fresh they also are willing to make adjustments for my diet. Delivery is always faster than expected.

Never had a bad meal from here. Food is always great. Would highly recommend. I've tried lots of the dish from here on several different occasions and havent had a bad one yet. Very friendly service.

In reply to the comment about the MSG food, this is a miss conception, further more, it depends on your order of the dishes. They have great food and great customer service, and also made to order dietary requirements. It is a place where if you would like to try something different, know your taste buds. The food is wonderful.

food tastes of nothing but msg. really low quality slap dash type of food. meat was so chewy I ended up giving it to my dog. honestly do yourselves a favor and go on just eat and order from ANY other chinese. discusting

I ordered a crispy shredded beef, satay chicken and special fried rice, which tasted fresh. They made the food super fast and were generous with the portion too! Will definitely be back here again.

I was surprised by how good this Chinese was. Definitely coming back for more!
