A very friendly cafe with excellent freshly cooked food. Total value for money...nothing was to much trouble even when asking for coleslaw with my breakfast. Would highly recommend and will certainly make this cafe a regular.

This is a very welcoming and friendly place for absolutely lovely food. We were welcomed upon entry by a lovely lady who offered us menus and we we're able to choose where we sat. After a short interval to read the menu a waitress came and took our order in a very polite and friendly manner. There is a sign on the wall that says good food takes time. Well as it is all cooked fresh we didn't have to wait too long. While we were waiting we got chatting to other customers. I guess if you are willing to put yourself out there you can have a very pleasant experience. The food was amazing and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back.

We highly recommend- we visit regularly for breakfast and lunch. Everything is freshly cooked and the staff are so welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble and the prices are reasonable

Popped in for a coffee and Bacon Bap. It was busy but a table cleared and soon seated. We were warned there may be a short wait. Coffee arrived piping hot and flavourful shortly followed by delicious Bacon Baps. It’s been a while but we both agreed we need to make regular visit supporting local business.

I've been here a few times over the last few years and every time I say I'm not bothering again. Overpriced, miserable service and simply not a nice experience. They seem to cater only for their regulars but anyone else isn't made to feel welcome

An incredible cafe !!Upon being warmly welcomed to our table,we scanned the menu which had so many choices on.The service was rather quick with the girls working super hard and smiling throughout ! Amazing to see/feel such a warm buzz from a cafe.Our breakfast was tasty😍 the owner is so friendly and looked so happy to be there!!!we will definitely be returning

I’ve been going to this cafe for a while and always forget to write a review so here I am. The food is always incredible, coffee absolutely beautiful every single time. On top of that, the staff are so efficient, nothing is too much to ask, always smiling and so tentative. One of my favourites in Plymouth.

Too hot too cramped the waitress didn’t even know what came with a Devon cream tea, an establishment that is trying to be greedy cramming in the tables up so there’s little room in between diners, not a nice experience and it’s hard enough dining solo without feeling like your encroaching on someone else’s space

Was here for breakfast this morning with a few friends as we meet up somewhere different each month and just wanted to say what a lovely place for breakfast! The food was brilliant, Paul's service was fantastic and the prices are great. Can't wait to come back again!

What a gem of a cafe. Lovely friendly staff. Great breakfast. The dog was treated like a Queen. So very spoilt. Just such a lovely experience on a wet Thursday morning. Couldn’t have spent the time at a nicer cafe.

I have just had breakfast at Jasmins from the moment we entered the staff were first class nothing was to much trouble, we didn’t have to wait for our food even though it was busy, the food was lovely and good portions to. Jasmins is definitely our go to place to eat

The best breakfast place in Plymouth, I had the Midi and that was perfect. The eggs are perfectly cooked (no uncookedness on the top like most places, the beans are freshly poured, the tomatoes fried perfectly, lots of mushrooms, great tasting sausage, crispy hash browns, perfect fried toast, and bacon. Cannot believe how perfect it was for the price. I travel around for breakfast and went here because of the reviews, after reading about it in the news, and actually yes it is the best Breakfast in Plymouth. In addition to the food, the staff are friendly and you can go and sit there alone without feeling judged as there are many that sit there as one person, the people welcomed me as a stranger. The place has military memories decorated around which is great and adds much needed character, which most establishments now lack. You know you are supporting someone who served our country which is a bonus, rather than the money going to a big chain.

Jasmins is our regular go to for a meal anytime of the day. The food and service is excellent. The food is cooked to order and comes out from the kitchen fresh and hot. The staff are always friendly and cheerful and willing to accommodate any requests even when they are extremely busy; which is most of the time. To me that just enforces how popular Jasmins is and how great this place is overall. If you have never been here before I recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed!

It's a lovely, friendly place, great staff, quick service, that do as much as they can to accommodate finicky eaters. Never had a bad meal nor had to wait beyond projected time, if they're busy. Good quality food Always,Great social Base long may it exist.

Jasmine's must be one of the best cafes in Plymouth/Plympton, its food is fresh cooked & great, the staff are very friendly & helpful & the whole place is a good feel hub with staff & customers always willing to talk to older & younger customers on their own, I go there every week the atmosphere as well as the food is fantastic

I want to write this review as we go to Jasmins a few times a week, and it never disappoints, the staff especially so friendly and helpful., people who moan on here obviously do not like friendly people, that is what makes this cafe so nice the staff and the owner Paul, and Caroline , Jasmin and the Chef Shannon who cooks the food lovely as always, i would rather the staff talk to you then in some places where they do not interact with customers, lovely as always Jasmins

I just love a full English breakfast at Jasmines. Loved the fact that my dog was allowed in the rear restaurant or outside in the summer and he has his own sausage as a special treat. So missing visiting now we are in lockdown, but thank you to Paul and the team for following government rules during Covid as not all Plympton cafes have been following the legislation and are quite happy to put their customers life at risk. Paul and team thank you for caring about your community and we will be in for breakfast when it’s safe to do so!

Been here loads of times, usually with my wife. Only popped in for a coffee today whilst waiting on an MOT. You wont beat the service or the friendly greeting as you come in, their food is great and it's a lovely little place to grab a coffee. Thank you!

I was recommended this place by a friend who raves about the traditional home cooked food. He wasn’t wrong, absolutely stunning food. Breakfasts are awesome. I’m addicted to the place now. Value for money as well and super friendly staff

What a relief to find a friendly, fun family restaurant, serving good food with attentive staff. If you are in Plympton you must visit this restaurant as you won’t be disappointed.

This was just an impromptu visit as we were waiting for my wife's car having new tyres fitted up the road & as we hadn't eaten we noticed Jasmins & thought we'd give it a go!Lovely little establishment & we have to say, this is the nicest full english breakfast we have ever had. My wife had the mini breakfast & I mixed & matched my choice without problem. Their food is freshly cooked & it was definately worth the wait (not that long waiting though) & absolutely everything on my plate was devoured. Beautiful fresh poached eggs, mushrooms, grilled tomato, beans, 2x perfect bacon rashers & toast (with lovely soft Lurpack!) & a pot of tea.It's not often you go somewhere & everything you order is spot on!Fantastic, friendly service too!We will definately be back and back soon too!!

Just popped in as had a Saturday morning breakfast craving...found it by chance online, HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST BREAKFASTS I HAVE EVER HAD! My partner (who is quite fussy) cleared her plate, affordable, good service, easy free parking nearby...will be regulars from now on!

My wife and I visit here quite regularly, the food is always good. Breakfast is well cooked, I like egg yolks hard and the white slightly crispy as they should be (unlike the half cooked things that sit on a hotplate in the chavhut next door {NB the trolls writing bad reviews})

This place is so good for a cuppa or breakfast.

Have been to Jasmin's many times for coffee, as they serve a really tasty Americano and my elderly Mum enjoys a latte. My grandsons loved their hot chococolate with all the trimmings recently. The prices are reasonable, the place is very clean and the staff are friendly. Thoroughly recommended!

Fantastic atmosphere.......When we are in Plympton we always go to Jasmins and absolutely love it....The staff are exceptional the food always superb....We visit as a couple and with friends and we are all really happy with our experience in Jasmins. Visited this cafe as people spoke highly recommend about the food. Order was taken quickly but had to wait over 30 mins for a breakfast could have cooked it myself quicker. Staff looked like they didn't want to be there.

I had a job on in Plympton so I went to jasmine's and had a ham salad. The salad was great and good value and the staff were excellent I will definitely be returning.

Had my usual Poached eggs on toast, cooked to perfection as per. Have never had a bad breakfast or meal, staff are great. I have taken many friends and family down to Jasmins and they absolutely love it. Friendly, clean and good food at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

Visited Jasmins Cafe this morning whilst waiting for our car mot. So glad that we did. My husband and I decided on the midi breakfast - it arrived quickly on a very hot plate and was absolutely lovely. The staff were quick to warn us that the plates were hot and were very attentive and helpful and polite. The food was piping hot and freshly cooked and delicious. We will visit again.

Well we popped in for a coffee as we visited the Ridgeway during a little shopping trip and the rain came, however what a gem of a place. A lady called Kim welcomed us with a cheery smile and then Paul charmed us with his banter and friendly one liners. As we sat and had an excellent cappuccino and cup of tea (served in a China cup so tastes better apparantly) we decided to try the food. The menu is functional and varied and we had a piping hot pair of breakfasts. Well cooked and tasty, we were full up when we left the cafe about an hour later. The food was delivered quickly but not rushed and was cooked as we asked. We went to pay and enjoyed a little more banter with Paul and was pleasantly surprised at the prices, much cheaper than we had imagined. Although we don't visit that area much, we will now always visit Jasmins when we do.

Very disappointed with breakfast the cook Dave needs to know how to do a decent breakfast had a few breakfast done by the cook called Dave . A few times the breakfast as come out cold. Bacon Overcooked eggs undercooked .

We came here for our cream tea last year and it was so good that we thought we would go again this year. Thank you from St Marys Church Mother's Union for our lovely cream it was very good and enjoyed by all 11 of us.

Lovely fresh generous portion salad and top end quality chicken breast. Chips were requested but returned-only because salad was so wholesome. Had that and mug of latte for £8. Great value. Light airy cheerful place and staff.

We go to Jasmins regularly and have never had a bad experience. The staff are friendly and the food is lovely. I usually get a breakfast which the serve all day and it is without a doubt the best cooked breakfast I’ve ever had.

It really is lovely here. Food is tasty and staff are friendly. Also has a garden you can sit in when the weather allows. Dogs are allowed in the garden area too.

Myself and partner visited here today and can honestly say we had the best breakfast ever!!! Not only was it great value for money it was also so fresh and tasty and the lovely lady serving us couldn't do enough to help,will definitely be visiting again soon.

Another excellent performance to owner Paul West and his customers. And £65 was collected for Asthma UK, a charity that is close to Paul's heart. Also he provided excellent food and drinks for the guys.

Called in with a friend after having our hair done. Both visiting the area. We had Midi breakfast with pots of tea. Very nice, hot, and didn’t wait long for the food. They even took a bacon roll up stairs to my friend’s daughter who was still in the salon.

Only intended to Pop in for a 5 minute coffee but ended up staying 40 minutes chatting and laughing with staff & other customers. Very friendly warm atmosphere on a cold wet Westcountry winter day. Staff attentive and observed constantly assisting engaging elderly clients. Clear evidence of Great community spirit, the window display dedicated to fallen Hereos is a lovely touch.

I’ve been going to Jasmin’s for a number of years now and I can say that I’ve never been disappointed. Lovely service, always have a laugh in there with the staff. The food is amazing, definitely worth the wait if it’s a little busy. In my opinion one of the best cafes I’ve been too.

Popped into Jasmines due to the tributes to fallen hero’s of the world wars in the main window. The time and effort done to display that could only mean that the food and service were worth waiting for.

What a fab find. I'm a fussy black coffee drinker. Great coffee. Service with a smile. Nothing too much trouble...

First visit under this management was very enjoyable. Food and coffee was excellent. I always like my tea and coffee to be very hot and this has not always been the case. However,my request for hot coffee was readily granted .

First visit for 3 adults. Had 3 lattes and 2 sausage sandwiches. Service and food etc was superb. Place was very busy and seating a bit tight in back room but with the care and attention we will all return again.

Had a great lunch on Tuesday. It has to be the best soup in town. I particularly love the mushroom soup; can't think of anywhere that does it better.

A friend and I paid a visit to Jasmins for breakfast on 26/9.Very clean,good food (although the fried eggs were rock hard,much prefer them runny).And how one can run out of hash browns at 10am when you offer an all day breakfast is beyond me.We felt that the waitress,I believe it was the owner,although I may be wrong,needs to cheer up and smile a bit.She was the most miserable waitress I have been served by in many a year.No friendly welcome,maybe it`s because we are not regulars.Won`t be returning.

I went to Jasmins for the first time last week. The food was incredible. I highly recommend the fried breakfast. Perfect portion size and you can even swap out some things for others to Taylor the breakfast to your liking. The waitress was super friendly and a pleasure to be around. Paul is a very nice guy, very welcoming and gives the place a real local feeling. I was there for about an hour and it was the best breakfast I've had in Plymouth. It will take some beating. If your looking to try somewhere new, go to Jasmins.

If you want great service and good food Jasmins is for you.

lovely cheese scone would definitely recommend this cafe, the staff couldn't do enough for you.We went there with our Mothers Union for a cream tea, which everyone loved but as I do not like cream had a cheese scone instead.

I love this cafe .. fresh artwork on the walls clean fresh. The staff have always been polite and friendly everytime me and my wife and nan have visited, my nan is very fussy as in her 80s and she loves the place. The owner is a lovely guy always willing to go the extra mile . The food especially the breakfast is excellent and we'll priced. Well worth a visit to try out a gorgeous breakfast.

Just what a local cafe should be,loving the very English feel to it on a Summers Day, rule Britannia bunting, a little courtyard, generous pot of tea with plenty of milk. We had a really nice lunch, freshly cooked. Clean and tidy cafe ,and friendly smiley staff. Thankyou. We will pop in again.

Jasmins is a family run café, which only serves up the best. The menue is catered for everyone and if you want to add or take things off this is not a problem. I usually ask for extras and the staff are more than helpful to cater for my needs.

First of all I am really offended by " happyplym's" comments about my local café. I have been going there with my family for a very long time and I never had any issues with any of the points raised by Happyplym. I am wandering...

Popped in for breakfast to see what it was like and as the breakfasts are cheap so are the ingredients, greasy spoon cafes are a British institution but that doesn’t mean it has to be this bad.

Popped into Jasmines about 6 weeks ago for breakfast as Weatherspoons was far too busy. Ordered the midi breakfast.....what can I say.... I’ve been back there every Monday since! It’s become part of my Monday morning routine! Freshly cooked food and the owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The cafe itself is clean, cosy and comfortable. If you want a decent breakfast after the school run or to enjoy coffee with your friends then this is the best place to go. Keep up the good work!

The breakfast here is so tasty. I had the mini full English, bacon locally sourced, mushrooms cooked to perfection, and the rest amazing - will definitely be visiting again! Nice friendly atmosphere too!
