Jasmine Thai & Speciality Seafood in Hastings

Lovely food, friendly and efficient service and good value. We visited on holiday based on good reviews and had a lovely meal with good service. We booked ahead which is advised as it was fully booked in a week night.

I would implore the lady on the till to Google / wiki “pad kee mao” and see how this is traditionally made and what I was expecting (rice noodles) as I just did not think for a moment this would ever be made like pad kee chow mein (large egg noodles which I can’t eat). Instead of having a full-on stroppy 10-minute unnecessary argument with me in front of customers, she could have just asked the owner in the first instance, who graciously gave my money back immediately. This would have avoided upset and been professional. Instead, she really took it upon herself to fight the good fight! I do admit culpability in that I should’ve read the description carefully, so my fault for not seeing they made it very differently to all other Thai restaurants. The owner was very nice and gracious. My husband said his food was fine; however, will not be back. The 3 stars is for the grace of the owner. I know of a few authentic Thai restaurants that make this dish the traditional way, so I’ll be visiting one of those next time.

If you want great Thai food for a reasonable price with fast service this is a great shout. The chicken pad Thai was only £11 but the portion size was huge. Only minor note was I think they could do with playing some ambient music. We were seated right by the till and couldn’t not hear the staff talking loudly for most of the meal which dampened the atmosphere a bit. But apart from that we had a great time here.

We have found this authentic Thia restaurant and it is fabulous so we keep coming bac.Staff amazing, chef amazing and his helpers. Lovely place,all food is cooked fresh to order,served piping hot. Cannot fault this restaurant and we have been to been to many. Top of my Thia where to eat blog in hastings. Thank you 😊

Very good Thai. Big portion of red duck curry. Not too spicy. Just right. We were in a rush to get a train and food came in 15 mins. Good service Glad we got a table!

Excellent food and a great view from the table we had at the ground floor. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. We went as a family with two young children and the staff were very attentive and professional. The food was some of the best Thai food I've had in the UK. Highlight was the Prawn Pa Naeng curry and the kids have never eaten Egg Fried Rice so quickly before so it must have been good!

The staff were great- service was perfect. And the food was absolutely delicious!! We had the mixed starter, green curry and a massaman curry. All 10/10

We wanted something light and fresh and it didn’t disappoint. Staff was friendly and very helpful and attentive, and the food was great. I had a mixed seafood dish and my partner had a stir fried beef and they were both excellent. Highly recommended.
