Honestly the best pizza I have ever had! Staff were so welcoming also which made the experience even better. Amazing find, would definetly recommend!

Excellent deep dish pizza! One of the nicest pizza crusts ever with loads of cheese and sauce. Very fast service and conveniently located for the theatre!

Very nice place to eat and drink with good welcome and kindness. We had a voucher to eat and they accepted to change it for drink.

If you love pizza this is the place to go in London. We've been 3 times now and it's always great. The pizzas are huge and fresh, very generous toppings and great for veggies. The jafa ice cream is lovely as well. The drinks prices are more than fair. The staff are always friendly and helpful and we love it here.

Tasty deep dish pizza option in central London. Tasty, hot and quick. However a ‘checkout fee’ on the bill if paying by QR code is a new low. Skip the charge, pay the server.

Despite near closing time these legends let us jump in and got our order in before the kitchen closed. Pizzas were to die for the cheese was cheesing and it was a great environment. Waiting staff were all friendly and they boxed up any left overs so we could have cold pizza for breakfast. Bonus!

I've made a concerted effort over the last several years to find the best pizza in London, and this might be it. I had the Buffala on a London crust, and it was savoury, rich, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The sundried tomatoes added bursts of flavour, and the mozzarella was very generous. It took about fifteen minutes to come out, so it's not too slow if you're on a business lunch, and there is plenty of seating. You can order and pay from a QR code at the table if you want things to move faster.

Food is great but customer service was awful! The place was empty and the waiter told us it’s full and we had to come back 1h30 after… so we book the day after. Therefore, while leaving the restaurant, I’ve checked there website to surprisingly see that there was availability for.. right now. So I’ve booked and they let us in. We have waited 35 minutes for a pizza and when we left, the place wasn’t even half full. I said to the staff it didn’t felt very professional and caring for customers, she said « it’s the system, don’t blame the waiter »… Customer services isn’t a thing there apparently…

We visited this place for their dinner service. We waited for around 40 mins to get seated which we don't mind as we hadn't booked our table. Thank you to the team for accommodating us at such a short notice. We ordered one of their chicken pizza which was horrible. The centre was liquidy and the edges were quite hard and kind of burnt. We asked the servers to check if this is how it should be. The server told us the due to the nature of ingredients the centre is bound to be liquidy (on checking with the chef). My only suggestion to them is if this is how it supposed to be then please remove this from the menu because it completely ruined our friend's birthday dinner.

Really good food, good vibe, and friendly staff. Really good location and guaranteed to satisfy your urge/cravings. The only suggestion I had is to allow for a half/half pizza. Portion sizes are big, so people may want to share (we wanted half plain, half veg, but told this wasn’t possible). Lose one star for that, but otherwise cannot complain!

Personnel accueillant et très sympathique. Les pizzas sont originales: très épaisses, de vraies pizzas tourtes ! Petites en taille mais copieuses ( impossible de finir la mienne). Ils proposent le take away pour éviter le gâchis, ce qui est appréciable. Nous avions un bon de réduction via le site Voyage privé. Il n’y a pas eu de souci ni au moment de la réservation, ni du choix de pizza ( celle que l’on voulait quelque soit le prix) ni du paiement final. Je recommande cette pizzeria dans le quartier animé de Soho.

Ordered one of the DIY kits, unfortunatly it was missing a couple of key ingredients. Ive tried to reach out a few ways but i have had no responce.

Had the London base and it was best pizza I’ve ever had. And good price too for central London. Clean and good atmosphere.

As others have said, the pizza is interesting (and interesting enough that it made a nice change and was tasty). However - the ‘wedges’ were not as advertised and ‘appeared’ to be more akin to domestic oven chips. In fairness to the restaurant they immediately took the cost off our bill but it shouldn’t have come to that (as in, warn customers prior) and not having tasty wedges to go with the pizza did detract from our experience. The waitress was lovely and very good.

The pizza here is so delicious. It was my second time visiting the place and I do not regret it. I do not usually like deep pan pizzas, but the London style pizza has changed my mind.

It was pure chance that my family and I stopped in here for a bite to eat. My son had asked for pizza for dinner and we were passing. My word, what luck, this was one of the single best pizza spots we have had the good fortune to try. Even as the food was put on the table we knew we had made the right choice, this was pizza with a difference. Each bite was pure enjoyment. It is clear that the quality of produce used and the care in putting it all together is of highest importance. I do not live in London but I would consider the trip just for another of these pizzas.

First visit to Japes with my son before a west end show. Went for the deep crust chicken pizza which was perfect and very filling I could not manage it all. The restaurant is modern and tastefully decorated and the staff were brilliant.

Wir haben im vergangenen Jahr das erste Mal Deep Dish Pizza in Amerika probiert und waren sehr gespannt auf diese Pizza. Sie war wirklich lecker und die jeweiligen Pizzasaucen waren top! Es war nicht so käseüberladen wie in Amerika, sodass man auch einfach diese gute Pizza schmecken konnte. Preislich war es vollkommen in Ordnung.

We went to Japes off the cuff after some drinks in soho, we've heard good things and we rarely opt for a deep dish pizza but thought we'd try it. You can actually smell how good the pizza is when you walk past, it definitely enticed us in. We went for the 'Classic Pizza' and the 'Picante Pizza'. Both were delicious, and the crusts were perfect for dipping in the truffle mayo dip. Although they look small when they arrive, trust me, they fill you up, I struggled to finish it. I would say it's more like a pizza pie than an average pizza. The ambience of the place was lively and had a great vibe. We would definitely recommend this place, but be prepared it'll definitely fill you up!

My wife and I had the veggie pizza and the vegan one, both London style. Absolutely massive, full of toppings and really filling. The double baked rosemary chips with tomato dip was lovely too. No room for dessert because we were too full. If you like pizza this is the place to go, well worth the money. Friendly staff, great food and really fair prices. We will be back in Japes next time we visit London.

We had the Chigago pizza, London Style. Really good and original. I've never tasted pizza like this before and I also liked the crunch of the pizza that was different than usual pizzas.

Loved the vegan pizza. Thick and greasy.. just amazing. Although small it was too much for one person. Definitely would share it next time. Service was good.

Came to try this on a recommendation. We had a reservation thankfully as it was extremely busy. Music was very loud and service was quite slow. We had 2 London style and 1 deep pan veggie pizza. The London style ones were very good although quite difficult to cut but the deep pan was all crust with a load of sloppy vegetables in the middle. It wasn’t in the least bit nice. Bit disappointing and wouldn’t come again. There are better pizza places close by.

Didn’t know what to expect as it’s been years since I had a Chicago pizza. Stunningly good. Deep, deep crust but with an amazing cheese and chicken filling. Had to add some pineapple too. Nice atmosphere, quick service, just all round great for a meal with mates.

Had lunch and dinner during my stay in London. The place is extremely popular (and not tourists) so thats an endorsement in itself. I didnt make a reservation, but they sat me very quickly. The second dinner time I did make a reservation and was pretty much seated immediately, in a packed joint. It was reccomended to me to get whatever pizza I decided, but prepared "London Style", which, to me, was like deep dish but with more cheese and less crust. It was awesome, and its enough to fill any appetitte. Translation: they dont skimp. The pizza was so good I ended up going a total of 4 times within a 6-day period. I will certainly visit again and anytime I am in London. Do yourself a solid and check it out, you'll 100% be glad you did.

I had come here maybe 4 years ago and found the food quite underwhelming. It hasn’t changed, the decor has been updated which looks great and the servers were very attentive and knowledgeable, interacting with them was an enjoyable experience. The music was SO loud, we could barely hear each other which made our dinner quite awkward. But the food! Just sloppy bland and extortionate prices. I had a vegetarian pizza, Chicago style, as someone who has had deep dish in Chicago before I can tell you it isn’t anything like the original. It’s so expensive too, don’t waste your money here,

We visited on a lunchtime where the restaurant was busy but not overly so . Ordered a salad as a starter and 2 pizzas as our main meal pizza sauce as a side . Specifically asked for the salad to come out first to find that it was served with the pizzas . Pizzas were not hot and we asked for these to be re heated . Sauce came out 20 mins after the pizzas 🙄. To the credit of the manager he said new pizzas would be made so we waited another 25 mins for our food . Take 2 food was hot and tasty . The problem with such a disorganised service was that we couldn’t enjoy the food . To the credit of the manager he apologised for the shambolic service . Couldn’t take off the service charge to settle the bill without speaking to waiting staff so we just paid it . The restaurant didn’t deserve this and it shouldn’t require a pay at Table option where this couldn’t be removed easily .

Excellent customer service, very quick and polite. Oscar our waiter was very good at his job. Pizza was delicious and fresh.

Went for dinner on a Monday after a day out in London. This was at the Soho branch. We ordered olives and nachos as starters. They seemed to take quite a while although the place was not that busy yet. Then our pizza turned up and we realised they had forgotten the starters! The pizza was really good though. The starters turned up after we had reminded them and were also good. We also ordered water, along with our drinks, and they also forgot this. What makes the service worse is that you just pay the bill online and I had to pay a service of £11. It was too much hassle to ask them to take it off. In short the food is great, the place is great but the service was very poor. If not then I could give it a five out of five.

We all ordered the London style pizza and they were all lovely. We had vegan, veggie and mozzarella. All huge, lots of topping and super tasty. We had a double portion of rosemary chips and they were yummy too. We shared one jaffa cake ice cream between 3 of us for dessert because we were so full, but it was really tasty. The staff were helpful, the decor is really good and the prices are really fair. If you like pizza then Japes is a great choice and we will be back next time we are in London.

Great Chicago style deep dish pizzas. Fantastic service. Our waiter Louis was amazing! He explained the menu and made our experience fun. Loved the Cuba Libre cocktail. Will definitely be back! A great friendly service with good food!

Very tasty, looks small but very filling so don’t order too much. Enough there to cater for vegetarians as well. Would come back

Sauce was ok but the pizza is overpriced, overhyped and underwhelming. Go to pizza union around the corner! You will get 3 glorious pizzas for the price of this absolute chode these guys serve.

Nous avons réservé une table avant notre visite et nous avons bien fait. Très bon accueil, le personnel est attentif et vous accompagne tout au long du repas. Pizzas semblent petites a l’œil mais attention, c’est à la limite de la tourte donc parfait pour les gourmands. Bien sûr l’essentiel était là: C’est bon! Financièrement très abordable. Je recommande l’expérience Merci pour l’accueil chaleureux .

First time ever here and the pizzas were amazing :) , great cocktails all with the most perfect, friendly and genuine service from Louis - would definitely recommend A+++++
