The staff at Pringles cafe are awful, rude and not to mention racist. We visited (my mum and I) today and couldn’t believe the attitude and customer service (or lack of) that we received all because they thought we were English. FYI, the English tourists are probably the ones who are keeping you in business so maybe you should treat them better!! We are in fact welsh, born and bred and speak the language. However we don’t sound welsh and spoke in English to them so they obviously just assumed that we were tourists. First impressions weren’t great as the woman on the till was miserable and clearly didn’t want to be there but the real issue we had was with a staff member called Maggie. We placed our order and 10 minutes later Maggie brought the food to us. I asked if I could have some mayonnaise to which she replied “go and ask her” and then pointed to the woman at the till. I just want to add that Maggie hadn’t explained to us that condiments cost extra so we thought that was she being unhelpful. There was a queue and we didn’t want the food to go cold so asked if she could get us some. She gave my mum a filthy look and reluctantly handed them over, again never mentioned that we had to pay so we thought that they were free like most cafes/restaurants (In all honesty I think it’s greedy charging customers for a sachet of mayonnaise when they’ve spent £13 on a meal and I don’t know anywhere else that does it but that’s another argument) My mum witnessed Maggie talking and laughing with her manager as she walked away so we can only presume that they were talking about us. There was also a couple sat behind us and Maggie came over to them and started talking about us in Welsh thinking that we didn’t understand. Funnily enough they asked for some condiments and she gave them for free, even though it was an issue when we asked. The difference is they were clearly locals. By this point we’d had enough so I asked if I could speak with her manager to which she replied “why, is there a problem?”. She clearly knew there was. Her and her disgusting attitude! I spoke with her manager but was struggling to get my words out as I was so annoyed with how we had been treated. Maggie was on the other side of the counter but came over and started saying “I’m sorry, I wasn’t talking about you”. She wasn’t close enough to hear what I had said to him so clearly knew what she had done wrong and was just trying to cover her tracks. We couldn’t even finish our food as she made us feel so uncomfortable and so we just left. Initially I felt sorry for her manager but after reading the reviews online, this is clearly a regular occurrence and he obviously doesn’t care how his staff behaves or treats customers. The entire team needs some serious training in customer service. This all could have been avoided had she explained the sauce cost extra and asked us to pay at the till. We would have paid with no issues. Also, if you’re going to talk about your customers, please do it where they can’t hear you, it’s extremely unprofessional. I believe we would have been treated differently had they known we were Welsh too. They just took an instant dislike to us because they thought we were tourists and then back tracked when we confronted them. We do our best to support local businesses but this cafe does not deserve people’s support! Absolute shocking service and we will not be visiting again. They are just lucky that we have not taken it any further as we couldn’t find any contact details online!

Ordered lasagna, I asked if I could have chips instead of jacket potato but refused. I ordered a portion of chips as an extra but came 10min after the main meal. Jacket potato was hard and cold, lasagna had very little meat and the taste and feel of flour overpowered everything else. My mother had Ham, egg and chips, ham and egg were nice but chips were cold. The ladies who carried the food to us were very nice.

Stopped here for snacks and a rest break with a tour group headed for the ferry. My wife and I just wanted a bottle of soda each - two small bottles in total. The line for food was understandably long because there were many tourists there. I'd say there were maybe 15 people in front of us. I asked one of the staff behind the counter if we could pay for the bottles up front. He said we had to pay for them here. So, we got in line and waited and waited and waited. There was one woman manning the till, with at least six other employees behind the food counters, ostensibly filling orders. Yet, they came and went, seemingly without purpose at times. Our line didn't move at all for at least 3-4 minutes. Then the woman manning the till started leaving her position to fill orders as well, since now there was only one other person filling orders. I don't know where everyone else went. We ended up waiting for about 15 minutes in total, in a line that should have moved much faster if only they had a system. In kind of a comical twist, when it came for our turn to pay, the original woman was back at the till and asked us to go to the second till, which she said would open in a moment. (Why did it take so long to think of opening a second line??) We politely insisted that we would pay her straight away, since we had been waiting so long and did not want to chance getting out of line to go to a second till that was still unmanned. I have no idea what the quality of the food is here. We only got the two sodas. But Mr. Owner - if you are reading this and you care at all, come up with a system for your employees to serve efficiently! You can't have seven employees in a specific area and not have a system that makes them productive so that the lines are reasonable and your customers are enjoying a quick turnaround. Take a lesson from Chick-fil-A - they know how to run an organized food line!!

We came in looking for a lovely place to look around such as the shop and wondered in for a tea and cake a friend sits down with a dog and we get the drinks and food and we ask about if there’s any dogs allowed as there was no signs up to say otherwise. The waiter said we can’t have dogs sorry to which he continued to make our drinks and charge us. The waiter then went to the manager after charging us to which she came over and said we can’t stay in the cafe with the dog even tho our friends was standing out of the cafe in the shop where dogs were allowed and said that still wasn’t okay. They mentioned no offer of a refund for the food whilst carrying on to ask us to leave and said we were told multiple times and should have read the sign to which the manager tried to show us where the sign was but couldn’t seem to find it.This has disrupted our holiday, we were sat at the edge of the cafe basically in the shop where dogs were allowed there was no rhyme or reason for this.

While the ladies behind counter were very pleasant, the lack of organisation was appalling. Nothing to tell us we didn't need to wait for hot food and that we were to order it at the till. Was queuing for a very long time before penny dropped. Food itself wasn't great. I had macaroni cheese and chips which was barely warm, my pal had sausage roll which had a hair in it, table was dirty etc. Place didn't look understaffed as 3 women at the till end & a young lad putting the food on counter. Nothing is too much trouble and I always look forward to having a good look around the store. It isn’t cheap but have to say good quality and never have any problems with returns. I found a member of staff in the shoe department exceptional in her customer service she was the manager and has worked there a long time. She made time to ask how I was and thanked me very much for my business which is very rare these days. At 2:30 in the afternoon (after seeing the menus) we decided to order. No main courses left. At all. Sad. Ok...we decided we will go for some panini with ham, cheese and onion with a bowl of chips. We were told that they are out of chips. Very sad. We asked for chips, not for smoked elephant leg. Ok...no chips...At least we are going to enjoy the panini and a slice of cake. After we paid at the till, we were told thaaaaat they are out of onions!!!! How on earth can you run out of onions in a place where you serve food? We were offered tomatoes instead which we sadly accepted. We went to the tables from upstairs where it was very cold and we waited for 20 minutes to get our cold paninis. Bear in mind that they had 4 staff doing almost nothing, just chatting around. The tomatoes had a very strange taste so had to take it out. Ordered fish and chips. Good size portion but the fish had a very strong 'fishy' smell which put me off. Fish should not have that strong a smell. Also it was mostly batter. Loads of chips and peas though. Pros: friendly and helpful staff.

Experience was terrible. Staff are clueless when it's busy and stare at you like you've got two heads. I noticed two members of staff just glaring at an old pensioner struggling carrying a full tray of food. Luckily another customer came to help her. Food wasn't really tasty, very expensive and overrated. The store itself was fine but would avoid the cafe.

Not many places open for breakfast on a Sunday but found this one. Did not open till 10am but worth the wait. Very helpful friendly staff. If your looking for gift ideas this is the place to visit. Don't forget to read up about the local history.

Called in for a quick lunch. Ordered beef and salad sandwiches with chips. Beef was nice but the chips were hard and cold. Bill came to 13.70 and that was with 2 coffees. However, the rest of the shop...Llanfairpwllgwyngyll station was lovely. Every member of staff so helpful. So café disappointing but shop worth a second visit.

OK for a quick snack. Main meals are limited and repetitive. Soups are OK but always seem to be the same kind. Rolls are small and sometimes very hard. Sandwichs and cakes are reasonable value and good quality. Can get very busy with coach trips.

We ordered the cheese toasties with chips! Simple enough you would think? The chips were lukewarm and the toasties were made with the cheapest tasteless cheese ever!! Very disappointing.

Ordered a 9 item breakfast for £4.50. Usual choices. Quality of product was good. staff were helpful, clean environment. There are options for 6 and 12 items as well. (£1.50 either way) So for the price paid I was very happy with what I received. 4 stars. (Also got a deal on a Craghoppers jumper!)

This is a nice call for a couple of hours if you're visiting North Wales or Anglesey. To start with the car park is shared with the railway station with the longest name ever, you know the llanfairpwllgwyngyll..... one. For tourists, a photo of your family with that sign is a must! The whole shop is an amazing gift shop, loads of unusual and really nice things available, lots of different sections, they have Portmeirion, Christmas decs, ladies clothes, mens clothes, sporting clothes, great shoes, bedding, an olde sweet shop - if you're looking for gifts you can't go wrong here. Walk through to the back of the shop and the cafe/restaurant is there, it's quite large with extra seating upstairs on a mezannine level. Their coffee is Costa (yay) and the ladies are really helpful, will put together what you fancy, so good for a full Sunday dinner or a sandwich, or toast/breakfast items. The only downside I would say is that it was a bit cold in there, my family sat and ate their lunch with their coats on.Really nice food, and good value for money. I love a visit to this shop.

We visited the cafe on Saturday 12th November after a long journey as we were hungry and thought it would save us cooking when we arrived at our destination. The food advertising board promised much. What a joke. The service was slow, the staff milling about seemingly to avoid serving the growing queue. There was a queue for endless coffees that was taking ages as they do.Meanwhile we were standing in the queue waiting for a cup of tea with our food going cold.Luckily for us a member of staff with a bit of initiative called us over to another till and served us as he could see we had hot ( joke) food. Now the food. We chose cottage pie as there wasn't much of anything ready. It was cold and tasteless and only just edible the chips were hard.We have eaten there on numerous occasions but doubt we will again unless it's for a cup of tea and then I'm not sure if I would bother. The shopping is good but the food. I don't think so.

Festive Tea advertised and we asked for this but were told that they were "not doing it until tomorrow". Why advertise it then both inside and outside of the building Perhaps it was because it was 3.30 and they shut at 4?

Had my doubts when I saw all the coaches pulling in but it was bigger and better than I realised. Loads of shops inside and made a few purchases . Staff were helpful. Huge cafe even though we waited a long time to get served. Very busy place.

This is a very big outlet store, we have been several times and always found plenty to buy! Very good Welsh souvenirs selection, and a very wide range of stock, from crockery/household goods, food especially biscuits, sweets and good range of booze (whisky etc) to say nothing about clothes, both male and female. Almost certainly worth a visit if you are in the area. Decent cafe too.

I expected this to be a good place to shop when I saw the number of coaches outside. However, I found it to be just average and not worth a special visit.

Love to visit this Store when we come to The Island for a weekend break. We have to purchase the Toffee Vodka (Tofoc), which we have only been able to buy here. Its a great shop, all departments to browse under one roof.

Stopped the other day wasn't sure what to make of it , a bit like the land that time forgot but great too. Bargains to be had typically I would consider shopping aimed at the older generation (apart from souvenir items, girls and boys clothes at the back) . Coaches and coaches piling on so obviously popular, worth a nosy but not worth travelling miles for (in my opinion) but each to their own.

Usually food is acceptable today 10 November 2023 I ordered fish and chips and peas chips were good peas acceptable fish was horrible and under cooked batter ok 🎏 fish was hard especially middle part Caffe staff had no interest at all spoken to duty Manager Tom who told me that the store and Caffe are different identity and could not be bothered to do anything for customer satisfaction Very disappointed that Tesco has no appreciation for regular customer to be cared for. Will not eat there never again and I urge people to keep away and dine at Morrisons or Standing Stones nearby where you will get properly cooked food and your custom appreciated.

Last time we had fish & chips from here they were very nice but unfortunately tonight's were awful! The fish wasn't too bad but the cone of chips was diabolical, they looked like reheated leftovers & a very small portion indeed. Not good enough considering the price, I was very disappointed!

Stood waiting a good 10 minutes whilst staff watched one member serving one customer before me. Coffee drinks ordered to drink inside, no saucers or teaspoons provided, just takeaway wooden stirrers, not very jolly service!

Called in for a light lunch as it is my partners’ birthday. Had the seafood platter to share. We were told no taramasalata available and they replaced it with mackerel pate which was lovely. However one of the main components of the platter was a mix of ?prawns/ crayfish and crab I think it was. It tasted odd and smelt bad like old socks. I thought it was my imagination to begin with until my partner said don’t eat any more I think it’s off.. it was also a strange colour. The smell was quite strong. We ate everything else. We told the waitress when she came to collect the plates and said she would tell the chef. We went to the till to pay ( half expecting the chef would have come out to apologise, but he didn’t). The waitress said sorry for that and charged us the full amount ( approx £35 for the platter and two lattes). Very disappointing and I’m afraid we will never call again ( we are also fairly local).
