Last year, I must admit the service wasn’t that great. But it seems like new management has taken over and it’s been a great experience the past few times I visited this year. Staff smiling and manager always delivering great customer service. Well done for the turnaround Jakes!

Ordered two burgers, but got one Phone shop up and they us it will take too long to cook and the traffic is bad so won’t get the other one & won’t be ordering no more food off them no more

Decided to have a chicken kebab instead of Chinese, and so glad I did. Was one of the best kebabs I have had in a long time, will definitely be having another one

I was just passing the area with a friend and we felt a bit hungry, the man behind the counter was very rude and hostile I wouldn’t go in here. Much better food and service elsewhere

Was hungry, decided to stop by for a portion of chips. Asked for some sauce and the guy got so hostile towards me. He told me to wait and started raising his voice at me. Disgusting customer service. Will NOT be going back there ever and do NOT recommend. Nasty human being, should not be working in a food chain as he doesnt have the slightest knowledge on how good customer service works.

I had a chicken burger from here on Wednesday. I have been stuck at home unable to go to work due to being violently sick. This could not caused by anything else as this was the only meat I ate that day. Honestly, the burger was a lump of undercooked and barely battered breast. I did not end up eating it all, a decision that I am glad of considering how sick the chicken made me. This may be a one off but I feel I need to voice this since this is the worst food poisoning I have ever had.

I'm a big fan of this fast food joint. Been going for years. I particularly like the spicy wings here. Get a bunch with garlic sauce all over! I've tried a bunch of stuff of the menu and everything's been decent. I haven't stayed to eat in because I think my clothes would smell of oily fast food. If you need a quick bite and you're nearby check TAKE’S out.

Used to be a regular at Jakes when I lived here. But now, it's not as good as it was. Still nice chicken. But not as amazing as it was before

Been going here for over 12 years, brilliant service food is 5 star standard for takeaway food clean and everything on show if u like processed food come here

After a disastrous experience with another restaurant being very rude and never receiving my order I tried jakes and they were absolutely amazing the staff were so friendly on the phone and in person when I collected, they were so helpful, never felt like what I was receiving was a personalised experience from a take away before but they were brilliant and the food was lovely, the chips especially! If I'm ever in the area again I would definetely use them again and will be recommending them to anyone I know who lives this way!

I walked in lots of people there i ordered a small doner kebab, happen to be he first meal ready despite so many people waiting in que. The server then goes on to tell me off that he charges for sauce!!! How? Surely I'm entitled to the choice of my sauce based on my order, but no. He belittled informed of everyone. Funny thing is I USED to be a regular customer of theirs. Don't waste your time on a torrid place abd service like that, at such a difficult time . Don't go

Chicken kebab wasnt great but chips are nice

Terrible service. They take cash only because they don't want to pay a small surcharge. They got me to download their app which charges £1 extra for everything even for collection. I WAS IN THE SHOP. I had to pay £1 extra to pay with card. They told me to keep the app my phone to make things faster next time, no way. Why should I waste memory on my phone to make up for a service you do not provide because you're greedy? They didn't even offer anything extra for the £1 I paid more than the asking price. Rubbish service. Never again.

It's a lovley little space, plenty of room for social distancing. Wide variety in their menu, as a chicken lover, there was plenty to choose from. Even if you're not in the mood for chicken, they have other options like pizza. I had the boneless box. It was very delicious, the chicken was hot and tender, the chips are nice, with just the right amount of crunch. The barbecue sauce I had with it was generously drizzled. I shall be going here again :)

Not consistent not fresh, bad attitude, staff fight among themselves no respect for customers. Very expensive prices small portions and cheap ingredients... fish and chips round the corner is the best

Ordered from their website and they sent it wrong when I rang them he for aggressive with me and said it was my fault it was wrong. He didn't want to even listen just lost a customer as they don't have customer service

Deliveries are always quick, usually early and food is always hot. The staff are also extremely pleasant and down for a chat and laugh when they see you. Always a nice experience

Got got food poisoning from this place! Be careful

I usually enjoy Jakes food, however I ordered last week a fairly big order, all came perfect. Apart from I ordered a chocolate sundae which was stated on the website, and they sent a strawberry one ( I’m allergic to strawberry ) I rang them up and they seemed to come across quite aggressive on the phone and very impatient and rude, sent me a chocolate fudge cake, and told me they’d refund the desert price that night, but it came the next day.. Anyway... I ordered tonight a small order and my chips and cheese came with a nice black short hair inside of them... I ordered chips and cheese, not chips cheese and pubes. Thanks ✌🏼

Chicken is always tender, the pizzas are always amazing, the fries are perfectly crispy. Amazing atmosphere and staff. The seats and stools are perfectly comfortable and is never too busy.

Very dry chicken. The chips are gross. The staff are nice but kept on staring at me and my mates lol.

Me and my friend ordered at roughly 10pm and didn't receive our food until about 20 pass 11, I'd paid just over £10 for food that was lukewarm and was all just frozen stuff chucked in a fryer. The cheesey chips were cold and the cheese had reformed into a big block, the chicken burger was basically just a birds eye chicken fillet which cost £3.50 and the popcorn chicken had 3 pieces no bigger than a marble. The kebab that my friend paid £7.40 for was dry, they forgot one of his sauces and he got a tiny layer of cold chips with it.

Absolutely fuming. Hour and 35 minutes for my order. Stone cold under cooked chips. Missing parts of my order and a black well over done cheese garlic bread. called up shop straight away for the owner to say there not bothered. I tried to come to an agreement and got hung up on. Disgusting service.

Quick and easy food for when you are in a rush. Their chips is nice and i usually order quarter pounder burgers which always comes out nice and yummy. The staff are nice and friendly. the prices are quite pricey but its how it is. There is always car parking spaces too around it.
