Lovely place to stop for brew...

Delicious food in a beautiful, gorgeous little place! Would definitely recommend and return! Creamy garlic mushrooms on toast was to die for! Could have eaten it all over again!

What a lovely place we found among our journey to Loch Ness. Lovely people, lovely food and lovely ambiance. If you feet lead you near this shop/restaurant, do not hesitate: take a break and enjoy.

Only had a cup of tea and some cake, so can't comment on the food. Cake was great, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice little gift shop and two lovely, friendly collies to pet.

Lovely hosts (Keith Kay and Border collies Berty and Barney ) and great food eg ( lemon risoto to die for ) a credit to scottish hospitality

Amazing views. Great food. Charismatic staff. Two Border Collies. What more can one ask for? We were also privy to a deer sighting and fighter jets overhead. Even their toilets have character!

We were lucky that they were still open for a very late lunch as we came from remote Loch Quoich. Hospitality was superb as well as the food. Ambiance is nice having tables alongside the shop shelves and the terrace on the porch looking over green

Made very welcome , spent time advising my wife on GF food ( great sense of humour) , food was lovely as were the views . We will be back.

We happened to be there today because we needed some tea on the way back from Glenfinnan. What luck for us! Totally cozy, lots of knick-knacks/gifts for shopping, delicious tea, fantastic soup of the day, which we spontaneously ordered. Sweet potato with coconut - great! Absolutely friendly service, always interested in having a chat with the guests. We felt very, very comfortable.

We arrived there quite by chance on the way to Fort William because we were hungry. We stopped thinking we'd eat on the go and ended up staying there for a while. Indeed the staff is extremely pleasant, very welcoming. The dishes were very generous and of high quality. I highly recommend, this place is worth the detour!

Cute little shop in a really beautiful area! I didn't try out the tea room, just perused the gift shop area. They have a lovely variety of items, I had to get the handmade soap and shampoo bar and a quirky headband with coos on it🥰

Breakfast and a show! We were the first group on an early Monday morning and were made to feel so welcome. Our server was hilarious and gave us some great tips for sites on our trip today.

A small, family run cafe/gist shop! Food was excellent and the service was personable and unique! The first day we were there the owner jokingly refused to serve one of a group of workers who asked an ‘English breakfast!’ His easy humor and easy going personality was great!!! We had to return the next day and had more great food and a very interesting conversation with him.

Keith is one of the kindest people I have ever met. Treats us like family. So warm and welcoming. The dogs Barney and Bertie are so cute. Try the potato and leek soup it's incredible. Also loads of amazing gifts you can buy to take something home with you. One of the highlights of our first trip to Scotland.

Really love this place! Two gorgeous collies greeted us which was a good start! Food and service excellent, very friendly. Gift shop has lots of quality stuff, not the usual tat found in many places.

This was probably the best food we had in all of Scotland, let alone on our whole Europe trip. (The venison stew was to die for. Look at it!!) Not only that, it was the most delightful, welcoming atmosphere. We had a big group and he just pushed tables together for us, had friendly banter with us, let us order off the breakfast menu, and as the cherry on top you get to pet their sweet dog too. DEFINITELY make a stop in here. It’s amazing❤️

Amazing food, lots of unique gifts, and very friendly people. It’s a small mom and pop shop with loads of character. They were very sweet to our little girl and were genuinely kind people. I had the pan fried haddock with the best cheesy/creamy potatoes I’ve ever had in my life. Even my wife’s quesadilla was better than any quesadilla that I’ve ever had in the USA. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are in the area you should definitely swing by.

Myself and my husband and mother in law visited this afternoon. We regularly make the journey of 25 miles from our home town. Keith & Kay make you feel so welcome to the cafe. Always have time to have a chat even on a very busy day. There is plenty of seating on their outside balcony and also tables inside along with their lovely gift shop. The quality of the meals is outstanding, We ordered Fish and chips, Macaroni Cheese,smoked Haddock with potatoes Freshly cooked to order, very generous portions. The lunch menu that they have is fantastic with a great selection of Cakes,soft drinks and hot drinks galore. We can't wait to visit again soon and maybe we shall leave room for some of their wonderful cakes Definitely have a look in the Gift Shop which is located beside the tables so while your having your lunch your eyes will definitely be seeing something that you want to buy. Keep up the great work.

This really deserves all the plaudits - I had an absolutely cracking breakfast, with genuine and friendly service, but some useful local knowledge of the hills thrown in. I can't recommend highly enough.

Food was not to my taste, toastie were fried and a little greasy for me. Staff were very friendly and not the most expensive place to eat. Soup looked and smelt wonderfull.

Despite only being a staff of two today, this is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Scotland. Really friendly service and delicious fresh food. I got the potato leek soup which was so comforting and rich, and the tuna&mayo sandwich tasty so fresh. We sat outside where there’s beautiful awning, so it was still very comfortable as it rained. The apple pie had a deliciously unique crust. We just spent a few hours here playing rum and chess. Wonderful afternoon. On top of all this there are two friendly dogs and a lovely gift shop.

What a delight to visit this small restaurant. We called for water only but ended up having a full lunch. My egg mayo sandwich was beautiful well filled and the chips were great. My partner had the burger which was very tasty. Well worth a visit and 2 well behaved dogs from guests were also there.

Always warm and welcoming. Hosted by a charming couple who go above and beyond to please. Home cooking and baking. Fabulous breakfasts. Dogs welcome. Such an extensive menu, no idea how you manage it. Nice gift shop and outdoor plants is a big bonus too. Keep up the good work, we always look forward to our visits and a blether.

This was our breakfast stop on the way to the Nevis Range Gondola and it was totally worth it! The owners are so lovely and welcoming, the food was delicious and the environment, cosy and inviting. They have a number of vegetarian and vegan options. The owner was so jovial and funny, it was a great start to the day. I would definitely recommend this place!! They also sell various clothes and cute/quirky trinkets which was a nice touch.

Limited on where to sit because all of the outside seating is either filled with people or flower pots. Table isn’t cleared fast enough and dirt on plate and seats. Dog in kitchen area and looks very vicious.

Definitely worth a stop for a bite to eat

Bestes Frühstücksrestaurant weit und breit! Das Essen war super lecker und so günstig wie sonst nirgends. Hier holen sich auch Einheimische ihr Essen. Das Ambiente und die Atmosphäre sind einmalig, sowas von gemütlich, entspannt und zwanglos, hier fühlt man sich direkt willkommen und will gar nicht mehr weg. Und wer zeichnet sich dafür verantwortlich? Der Besitzer dieses schönen Lokals, der einen bedient. Ein unglaublich fröhlicher und warmherziger Mensch mit einem ansteckenden Lachen. Wären wir auf unserer Rundreise nicht weiter gezogen, wären wir mehr als nur zweimal hier gewesen. Unbedingt selbst ausprobieren und ein Bild machen! Hunde sind übrigens wie alle anderen Gäste mehr als willkommen.

We visited here on our 6th day of the NC500. It was a gloomy day and as soon as we walked in it was warm, cosy and inviting. Finishing touches like each chair having a little blanket. The food was absolutely delicious - a full Scottish breakfast a huge pot of tea at an amazing price 🤩. It was a perfect start.

Sehr freundlicher Kontakt über Brit Stops. Wurden trotz der späten Ankunft sehr herzlich empfangen. Bietet Platz für etwa 2-3 Wohnmobile. Leider hatte der Shop am nächsten Tag geschlossen, sonst hätten wir gerne das Frühstück dort genossen.

Wir haben über Brit Stops hier mit dem Wohnmobil übernachtet und wurden trotz später Ankunft extrem herzlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und haben sich viel Zeit genommen. Sehr netter Kontakt!!

Wee hidden jewel. You need to try the breakfast here...it's fantastic . Not only the grub , Barney insists he gets a tummy rub( that's the dog . Don't know the owners name). Really nice staff and some nice wee keepsakes at a decent price .

Lovely place, facing beautiful views of the countryside. The food was fantastic and the people who run it are friendly, welcoming and were wonderfully helpful when asked to adapt a dish for allergies. High recommend visiting.

The Jaggy Thistle, very nice, welcoming and warm place on the way back to Inverness. We loved our breakfast. Definitely a place where we will come back.

We have just had our Seniors Christmas lunch at this wonderful place. The food was outstanding! Can’t praise them enough. Some of our group were first time visitors who will definitely be returning. Well done Kay and Keith and Thankyou again.

Sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr gemütlich und herzlich. Preise sind total in Ordnung. Essen leider nicht probiert, sieht aber alles total lecker aus! Sitz-Möglichkeiten drinnen und draußen. Personal sehr freundlich! Kleiner Shop mit vielen schönen Kleinigkeiten und Geschenken. Nur zu empfehlen!!

Great place, actually called in three times while we were in the area, twice for breakfast and once for lunch. Good honest food, clean and friendly staff. Lots of nic-nacs for sale and a great cup of coffee.

Great breakfast food in a roll, busy when we arrived so a wee bit slow which is to be expected, bought some plants, nice visit.Staff and dog were great.Check opening times before you go.
