Jade Garden Takeaway in Ballymoney

Waited 1hr 45mins for an online order . Chow mein sauce was thick and tacky, actually couldnt eat it .rice was cold, chips glued together with soggyness with been sat in the paper bag. The chicken balls were laced in grease . Loyal customer generally .. but for what u pay nowdays for a treat . I wont be making the mistake again .

Only reason I go in is obviously the food, really nice. Personally I think the young staff are rude, either over the phone or face to face.

Chow mein good. Curry sauces far far too salty. Chips not great. Pity about the level of salt.

Rotten. Chips must have been reheated over and over again. Curry sauce was extremely salty. Total waste of money.

This place is disgusting the chips must have been reheated 5 times and the curry sauce was so salty we couldn't eat it. The last time my brother ate out of it he had food poisoning.AVIOD! 🤢

Haven't ate in this place in ages and I won't be back, chips were soggy and under cooked, fried rice is clumpy and so oily. Chicken Kong Po was like water and not like it use to be can't get my heard around their pepper and honey sauce as it's gravy with honey and chilli added 🤔 extremely poor quality and I wont comment on the rest of the order but you can imagine it's rubbish which it was

Aboultely disgusted with attitude of servers as well as getting my food wrong said he wouldn't change it unless I came to shop very disappointed we it's normally good but this is third time

Ordered three meals 1. Chicken Curry - much hotter than usual but worse than that it had processed chicken which was horrible, really soft and mushy. 2. Chicken Pineapple - In this meal the chicken was RAW and still pink in places, wouldnt dare to eat it. The pineapple was nice tho and safe to eat as it came from a tin. 3. Peking Chicken - this was OK and the most edible of all three meals. The meals were accompanied by fried rice and chips. The fried rice was good enough but the chips was dry and tasteless. Definitely wont be back!

Ordered sweet and sour chicken on the weekend. It was slightly late but delicious.

Order takeaway mixed grill which I had in the past and like but this disgusting dish they put out tonight was awful never again tough steak tough pork chop awful Gravey like tar and tasteless disgusting in the bin never again

Ordered from the Jade Garden Tonight! And let me tell you something I was totally disgusted! £15 wasted! Ordered from here tonight, and let me tell. You something never again absolutely disgusted, The batter wasn't cooked to the full extent The chicken didn't taste like chicken! And the batter had grey hairs on them! The noddles were absolutely horrible!

Orderd Chicken and pineapple for delivery. When food came pineapple was off and tasted horrible. Phoned up and they offered to replace it. waited another hour and the food did not arrive. phoned to ask where it is and was told i had to collect it. I had 2 young children sleeping upstairs and could not leave the house so asked for a refund and was refused. Will be reporting to trading standards in the morning.

Food was quite expensive for the quality. Handy for delivery but I don't think I'll be back Had the beef curry with chips and fried rice and it was honestly a let down. Rice and chips were overcooked. Beef was tender but the curry sauce didn't taste great.

The food is expensive especially when the food I ordered was really not the best!! I ordered a Mixed Starter Platter for two that cost £9.80. The spare ribs was dry and hard to chew, it was very hard. The prawn toast tasted like a frozen prawn toast. The spring rolls are not that bad. The chicken satay skewers is bland and it doesn’t taste like a chicken satay at all! It is dry and not very easy to chew. I nearly had jaw cramps. Additionally, the char siu fried rice was not the best either. It costs £8.00. The fried rice is dry, and missing some flavour! The meat itself was dry as well. If you ever had a char siu or char siu fried rice, the char siu is meant to be tender and have flavour as well with the rice. My boyfriend ordered salt & chilli chicken and salt and chilli chips. The chips are okay, however, the chicken is slightly hard and some of it felt like a rubber. The seasoning is good. The onion is barely cook. Overall, I spent £28.80 and I did not enjoyed the foods very well. I don’t think I will ever order here again.

STAY AWAY!! The last couple of times that I have ordered for delivery there has been items missing from my order. I have rang up each time stating it was missing- no attempts to deliver the missing items. I have been paying for items that I have not received. It's such a shame as the food is good.. if you actually receive it all

Food arrived over 1 hour late despite ordering 90 minutes before time expected. Food was cold and inedible. Threw it all in the bin. £25 wasted. Never again.

favourite Chinese food always hot, tasty and they go out of their way to ensure that you get your order the way you want it ie no onions lol

I regularly eat from here but will no longer be doing so after the pathetic excuse for a chicken maryland I got tonight! The chips were burnt as were the pineapple and banana fritters. Of all the meals I've had in my lifetime I've never had something with so much grease running out of it. Sorry jade garden you've just lost a regular customer.

The food is vile, chicken balls over cooked, chips undercooked, rice was disgusting, all freezing cold, definitely won't be returning, wish I'd read the reviews on Facebook first 2.8 rating of out 5 is still very generous

Food is nice,lady at the counter is very rude though and your opening times are wrong online! Told this to the lady at the counter she just shouts were not online!!! Off I pop to sun do,nicer service in there!

I would strongly question the freshness of the produce the beef was slimy everything was tasteless the garlic was far from fresh...i could not eat .not to mention it was ordered and ready in 3 min .will not be back

Lovely food and the place looked so clean

Went to collect my take away tonight. Owner came to counter to check my order and then cooked my takeaway fresh once he had checked it.

My wife treated me to a takeaway. ai was really looking forward to my sweet & sour chicken. It was awful, the chicken balls were so hard I had to use a steak knife to cut them. The chips were also hard and cold. Don't waste your money.

consistently good. ...Best Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken. Fried rice fluffy and not too greasy . Honey chilli chicken and chicken chow mien another of our favourites

Estado aquí unas cuantas veces y supuestamente está bajo nueva dirección. El personal de la recepción son todavía las caras amables que he visto antes. Si ha cambiado de manos la comida sólo ha mejorado y estaba bien para empezar. En mi opinión, cabeza y hombros por encima de cualquier otro local de comida para llevar.

Tuvimos Una mala experiencia en muy pocos chinos en Ballymoney pero ya que va a esta que cumplir. sabrosos chino y a un precio razonable. No estaba muy contento de ver 3 5 higiene de los alimentos así que espero que mejorar esto como no es buena cosa para ver al entrar en un restaurante chino, Aparte de esto no me puedo quejar del lugar.

Placed an order by phone giving 3/4 hour notice, but it wasn't quite ready upon collection. However, it was worth the wait, as the food was really very tasty and hot. Generous helpings.

Had a take away out of here a few weeks ago as it had change owners! Yes it definitely has improved from what it used to be...the food is now cooked and is not tasteless!!!

This is my local and don't listen to the other review. Ballymoney is full of Chinese Takeaways but Jade Garden is my favourite.

crap food all raw when I got it.not good very bad do not go to it grap and too dera and food raw that's all
