Just popped in for a coffee and a snack was very nice

Great food, staff and ambience.

Called in as passing through Ballymoney, excellent service even though they were starting to close up. But wasn't an issue for the young lady and Gentlemen. service was outstanding and very helpful. Atmosphere, you couldn't beat....will be calling again.. Thank you very much for your incredible service.

Would go on a coffee run sometimes for a nice lunchtime pick me up. I'm not familiar with coffee types in any way but the staff have always been wonderful in helping me get the right thing and the hot chocolates are amazing.

It's a very good chain restaurant, this one is very flavorful, and it has local characteristics. There was already a lot of Christmas vibe in November, it felt very warm and there were plenty of options. There are also special recommendations for the season. Food are refreshing, the coffee is delicious, it's nice to chat with friends inside. cold outside, warm inside, well, it's comfortable. Recommend.

Unfortunately my scone was awful, hard as a brick, took a photo but unable to post it

Didn't get what was ordered due to 2 similar meals on menu was refunded and offered the correct meal but one meal already eaten so other meal would have taken more time

Coffee was good but café not very clean

Not awesome on today's visit. One of our party ordered a breakfast soda and specifically requested the soda toasted, this order was accepted. The food was brought to the table and the server was asked to confirm it was toasted to which they replied, 'we can't do that, it was fried with less oil' and the food was handed over with no apparent come back. If the order could not be fulfilled we could've been told and allowed the opportunity to select something else. Then to add insult toast was brought to the table next to us

The coffee wasn't great came out lukewarm and was overly strong even though asked for less shots to be out into it. Didn't have any food but they offer a few gluten free options not many

This Bob and Berts is always pleasant to be in. The staff are always super friendly, fast with their service even when it's busy, and the atmosphere in there is always calming and delightful.

Half of menu not available although clearly says all day on menu signage. Tables dirty and sticky from previous clients. Pricing ridiculous considering service levels. Used to enjoy regularly, gone down hill badly

I Order takeaways from here and it’s always missing items that I paid for. I rang to complain that it happens often and the “cook” was rude telling me she knows I have it, even after telling her that I’m literally looking at my plate and it’s not there. I’d avoided ordering takeaway from here.

Absolutely ridiculous service. Ordered for delivery and was told 45 minutes. An hour and a half later after ordering it still was not with us. Cannot get through to the store and no update whatsoever. Food was expensive as it is. No excuses for this terrible service when we only live less than 10 minutes away.

We ate here a few times during our time in Ballymoney. Food and coffee always good, and no issues with service. Nice place to try for a quick bite or a coffee.

Ordered online, delivered the food to find the shake I ordered was not what I had asked for, i was able to count the amount of chips I had been given, this was not a child’s portion even at that. For the price of it all I would expect a little bit more for my money.

Was lucky enough to receive a birthday delivery from Bob & Bert's - with a range of "Sweet Treats". So far, about halfway through, and having to compete against the kids to get to them - all very pretty, and absolutely delicious so far! Packaging excellent, in a sturdy box, ensured there was no damage to the contents (delivered to England as a taste of home). Many thanks to the team, will be back for more!

Group of us from Cycle club stopped this morning, coffee and food. All very friendly, quick and tasty before heading back to Ballymena.

Came here with my young child who has a severe nut allergy. He seen all the beautiful cakes and I said to the staff member could he tell me what bakes were nut free. Pretty basic question for a cafe. He said “ I wouldn’t know” and asked his colleague where the allergy sheet was. By this time all faith was gone and my son was not getting an option unfortunately. I’m aware that this is a question that most places can’t guarantee but they would usually give you an informed choice. The food we got was lovely and service was prompt but could be constructive criticism for the next person.

I'm watching a member of staff using little effort to clear the dishes of the tables but i think he forgot there is a pandemic virus and forgot to clean the tables. What way do you train your staff. I just feel every time im drinking coffee in there the tables are dirty.

Wanted a nice breakfast but didn’t want black pudding, beans, soda bread or pancake - so HAD to pay for full breakfast @ £7.95 and have 4 items substituted . I didn't really want 3 sausages and 3 rashers of bacon. When food came the Poached egg was rock hard ☹️and must have been cooked in white vinegar as Potato cake sitting next to egg on the plate tasted of vinegar too. The guy on the till who took my order was not friendly or understanding. God help anyone who is looking for a Gluten Free breakfast. On the upside the coffee was lovely.

Had brunch here on saturday and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly and food was good. Was nice to sit at the window and watch the world go by....

An ever changing vast menu which always comes out with good quality. Kids menu bit boring for our daughter but she usually ends up ordering from full menu. Drinks menu decent and coffee is not the best but adequate. Always a nice relaxed atmosphere with helpful staff. Always worth a visit.

It's a clean and charming place, like ever Bob and Berts. But they overcharge for food and little tray bake treats and their hot items from the kitchen are inconsistent (if me and a friend order the same thing, her food could be overflowing from the plate and I could be able to see the bottom of mine). Their special hot drinks are average. Their service is slow and impolite and somewhat awkward to be served by. And yet I still go because of the atmosphere and the charming cafe itself.

Usually great place to eat. Service slow (no smiles) Food sat under heated lamp on view for nearly 10mins before it was brought to our table. Are they short staffed?? They charge enough!!

Went in for coffee dirty tables staff standing about, when paying £5.50 for 2 drinks would at least expect tables to be cleared.

The coffee shop part is brilliant staff great but oh are the toilets saggy they need to get a good deep clean they are dirty and they smell

Ordered fancy latte that looked nothing like the picture (no crumbled biscuit topping or sauce, thrown together) and found a hair at the bottom. Bleurgh

Sadly my dish was missing two of the advertised ingredients. The food took quite some time to arrive.

Had seen sign up for past few weeks advertising their speciality Christmas coffees, and have eyed up the Biscoff Latte. Finally got around to calling in to treat myself.... Really disappointed... First of all the picture in the advertising showed a latte covered with Biscoff crumsbs and broken biscuits. When it came it looked like a normal latte served with a wrapped biscuit. Anyhow, on to the taste. The latte tasted really really bland. Couldn't taste the Biscoff flavour at all. Don't even know if they forgot to put the coffee in it!! Just tasted like warm milk with the slightest hint of something.

Called in for a quick lunch and was very disappointed.when we ordered our food it was not very busy There were about 8 people in the cafe.The food was slow to come Wish it hadn’t I had chicken gougouns which were over cooked alone with sweet potato fries I had ordered 2 slices of bread but was presented with 2slices of toast wasn’t the servers fault but the person who took the order Wouldn’t be in a hurry back

Like this chain. Nice to see gluten free options clearly highlighted although disappointingly only 1 (pre-packaged) gf sweet treat on offer. Would be good to at least 1 gf cake on offer. Coffee good, pleasant decor, service fine.

Called in here from brunch, and it was relatively quiet. Plenty on offer and ordered some poached eggs and toast for 2 people and a sandwich. The sandwich was to die for, really really lovely, but unfortunately the poached eggs were all HARD, and the toast was burnt. Really disappointed.

I called in at about 2.00 pm for some lunch, having eaten in other Bob and Bert's so I knew that their filled soda was delicious. It did not disappoint - the soda was cooked to perfection and the sausages and egg were perfect. Was did disappoint was the initial impression I got when I entered the establishment - there were some customers sitting at tables, however there were plenty of empty ones - not surprising as the lunch-time rush had passed, however most of these empty tables were littered with dirty plates. BY the time I'd finished my lunch the place had been cleared and cleaned and looked great - but my first impression stuck with me. Nevertheless, the food was great.

Very busy & very slow, coffee was finished by the time my order arrived - half hour later

Had a couple of bad times here. First time my 2 yr old asked for a croissant he had seen on counter and the girl at the till said there were none. I then overheard her say to other worker she was going to have it herself on her break. Other worker had sense corrected her and gave croissant to child. On second occasion I asked for no caramel in a milkshake, it came with caramel sauce in glass so I took it back and the girl said 'there is no caramel in that the sauce is decoration' I asked what sauce it was and she said 'ah just a wee brown sauce you know caramel sauce' ?? Very cheeky staff who could clearly be heard being cheeky about customers.

They had no skimmed milk for coffee. My sister got a curry chip an the chips came out in a cup you would but a small coffee in an it wasn't full very disappointed with this visit.

I really enjoy the breakfast here but with a couple of caveats. There is a tendency to have badly undercooked egg which is common across their sites. The main gripe is the poor quality cutlery. The knives are small, poorly shaped and cheap. Forks are so light the tines are invariably bent and misshapen. The cutlery is also not the cleanest. I keep going back though because the breakfast is delicious.

Very very slow. Slow getting to the til with only a party of 3 ahead of us. Very slow to bring food. I ordered a toasted bagel. Took at least 20 minutes to arrive. Not what I'd call toasted. Not even beige in colour. Just white inside and out....barely warm. Then they started working some machine that sounded like a Jack hammer. A lot. Couldn't hear the loud music any more and certainly couldn't talk to my friend. Really disappointed.

Called in for lunch over the Christmas period. Lunch was very poor and I was extremely disappointed as it's not cheap. Pitta wasn't even cooked and food not overly warm. Won't be rushing back.

I'm very sad to say that Bob & Bert's has gone downhill lately. It used to be this quirky coffee shop, which was part of a chain, but retained its individuality. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. Now the staff seems to have changed and it's all business speak with " Do you want to go large on your flat white?" The friendly welcome is gone and it is a great pity. Time to find a new regular coffee shop I fear.

Very nice place good food and atmosphere

To me Bob n Berts Ballymoney has too many tables crammed into the space available. Its a bit of a struggle to get seated. I feel for those who would be of bigger size than me @ an 8.... Staff are lovely, food too... don't like idea of men & women sharing same toilets, an uneasy feeling especially if you have children who want to go by themselves when up in years a bit....

I was here recently, and I have no complaints. The food was good, and the service was excellent; my food was on the table in a few minutes after ordering! I'm also suprised by the selection of food on the menu. To be honest, i was expecting all to be breakfast food, but they have a variety of foods from your breakfast fry-type foods, to your burgers.

Visited late on a Sunday and had a mishap with my order, which meant it was slightly delayed from the others. The ladies working were so nice and apologetic about it and went over and beyond to make it up to me which was really nice and unexpected! Food was absolutely lush as well! Sad I don't live over here to come back again!

Ballymoney Bob & Bert's... Customer service atrocious !! No longer will be a regular here ...girls who work there all lovely ...no apology from the owner who made the mistake in my order ...Dairy food intolerance / allergies ignored even though I looked her in the eye & told her when ordering ... mistakes happen which is fine but as I said not even an apology ..poor waitress left to say sorry for her...after 3 staff looked at my plate & stated we don't have cheese in our salad .Yes I know it was on the baked potato hidden under bacon as I said !! :(

I don't know how they found it but they found it,What?The formula to make a chain NOT feel like a chain.Bob & bert are really clever because they have made a coffee shop that doesn't feel fake & sterile like the big chains do. They could learn a lot from these dudes. Delicious wraps, great tea & coffee and snacks which are actually tasty not like something out of 90s vending machine. Enjoy! B:God's

I would like to say that the girls who were working on wednesday 18 july were absolutely excellent. I asked them to tell me what was vegan on the menu and I was very well accomodated. Very good food and excellent service. They could not have been any more helpful and nice.

Food wasn't delivered as ordered. Pancake had no flavour. Sausage roll was dry. Not what we were hoping for. Friendly staff though and clean.
