Ordered chicken tikka korma with prawns, not chicken tikka

Love this place, dirty treat from here is chips cheese and garlic mayo, great when you need something gooey, Donna meat is nice too

I've been using Jackos for decades , gradually the quality of food has got worse. Last night I ordered a 16 inch meat feast pizza. It was £15 plus delivery. Really disappointed it had 3 burnt pieces of doner meat on no other meat at all. We spent £33 in total feel totally ripped off !

Ordered 2 chicken tikka bhuna with 2 garlic nann bread, very poor flavour in curry and garlic nann tasted like plain nann and only cooked on one side, would only go back for a burger as disappointed with most stuff I've tried, won't order from here anymore

Oh my god, I tried the Red Doner kebab tonight, and wow, the flavours 😍 the spice was just right, not too hot or spicy but a lovely taste and in the naan bread with salad wow.. I don't even like doner kebabs normally, but this is defo my new thing.. it was so tasty the only thing is I was too greedy and ordered chips and failed eating it all half way through but will defo be ordering again

Love this place never had a bad meal. But for me the pizza are just unbeatable. 👌

The food is always fresh, piping hot and cooked just right. I’ve had curry’s from various takeaways over the years and Jackos is the only one I order from now. You can see your food being cooked, the kitchen is spotless and the lads all look the business in their uniforms. The owner is a top bloke too, welcomes you in and can’t do enough for you. 👌

Jackos is always unreal but there new red donner meat is something else photos don’t do justice but 🔥👌

Food was mediocre and it was cold

I work up and down the country and just spent 2 nights in Rotherham. I have had the best Tasting Pizza and The best curry I've ever had - both from the same place - Jacko's Rotherham. You have to try this place 11/10.

Looks clean and decent, food tasted of good quality. It's definitely one of the better Saturday night takeaway places!

Lovely base masala with the flavour add ons to make the dish . I prefer thigh meat but it’s fine as the meat was ok . I would definitely recommend for the masala base alone extremely tasty

I ordered a chicken burger and was so exited to eat it untill i opened it and there was a hash brown on my burger. Its not really a hash brown but its shaped like one and is not a chicken burger… i expected more

Food was cold and order was incomplete. A total disappointment.

One of the worst take aways I've had in years. Arrived cold, chicken was full of tendons and skin- poorly prepared. Plain cold rice served as a side? Not great.

Panini had the smallest amount of tuna ive ever seen, it may aswell have just been a cheese panini and it had that much mayo on it it had leaked everywhere. Too much of 1 thing and not enough of the other, it was soggy, inedible it ended up in bin

Having worked a day in the kitchen I've personally witnessed the level of hygiene here. Raw chicken left on the sides aside dirty pots and pans to be contaminated. Bucket loads of potatoes left for far too long in bin buckets. Veg stacked on the floor. And never saw a single person wash their hands even after disposing of rubbish and taking drugs. Was told to come in for a shift and "bossman" started playing games as he'd booked too many people and expected work for free. When questioned proceeded to talk shit and have his "boys" square up to me and damage my vehicle after me trying to leave and go find other work. Horrible thing is I've eaten this food before. Some pots and utensils physically impossible to clean with dirt and gristle welded to them. Was also told off for using washing up liquid as it takes too long to rinse it out of the pan...what? Oh and that chicken in your kebab...that's kept in a tray on a bit of cardboard on the floor. So expect a pita with bog mop water too. Put it this way. I couldn't even stomach a free meal handed to me at the end of the night.

Best curries ....pizzas....kebabs anywhere in the area !.....staff are very very friendly.....polite ....the food is second to none .....anything thats not on the menu ...just ask !...they go above and beyond to accomodate any requests regarding food and service.....the owner Billy is always front of house ...and always polite and willing to help with advice on dishes etc ....I guess it has to speak volumes that a place like this still thrives massively after starting way back in 2008 !....and is still smashing it ! ....try it for yourselves......you most certainly won't be disappointed!!!! ....100% quality food !!!

Been using Jackos for many years for both collection and delivery. Very friendly on phone and in takeaway. Food is great value, very good portion sizes and lots of salad and sauce unlike other takeaways. Andy.

So went in last night on reccomendation of a freind. Was gutted they didnt do loaded chips, they ask me to explain what they are,,, omg, thease lads produced the best loaded chips iv ever had in my life!!!! Pretty much on time. Ordered peri peri wings with rice and jalfrezi sauce. The wings and rice were pretty great and surprisingly cheap, but the jalfrezi sauce was almost as expensive as the full curry and I understand that curries will always different in ingredients and tastes from place to place, but this was one of the most sour jalfrezis I've had. It was edible, but not great.

Ordered chips ,cheese and mayo also all star big stack burger the chips was freezing cold and there was the tiniest of cheese I’ve ever seen , the burger was like mush 🤮and to top of off when we rang up to explain the owner didn’t give a care and just made up excuses very disappointing won’t be ordering again

Placed A order for delivery was told 45mins arrived within 30min , hands down Best Donner Kebab In Town , nice & fresh , nan bread was Soft and fluffy. Kids really enjoyed there meals - nuggets and chips. Best thing about it is you can get your groceries and Booze.

Order over the phone for collection arrived after 5mins Food was ready waiting , very hot and Nice. Chips nice and crispy, burger was evenly balanced soft and tasty.

Tonight we were not very happy, all of the girls had something wrong with our food that made us feel quite disappointed. We always order from here and 75% of the time they get it right. Tonight wasn’t one of them sadly

Placed an order on 21st October - phone order for collection , Was told 10mins for my order be ready. Arrived food was Piping hot and Ready , The Gentleman on the Counter I know personally, very nice polite guy , staff all looking sharp with there Uniforms. Desi Chicken Bhuna was the Best thing tasted full off flavour and Spice , garlic nans where nice and fluffy. Overall 10*s if I could , Will definitely be coming Back.

As always got nothing bad to say about this place, nice and clean inside, you can see how your food is being handled. The staff there are really friendly. If you want a nice takeaway that won't bankrupt you here you go

Placed an order last night wad told 30mins to 45 mins but one hour n 10mins later still no food so rang up the man on the phone was very rude told me he was on my road 10 mins after no food so I rang again and the man on the phone was rude again and hung up on me the food came was cold and the bags were wet with the food in ill never order from there again awful service

I ordered food from jackos for the 1st time and really enjoyed it a desi chicken biryani and got to say it was outstanding. The person on the counter was very polite and helpful and introduced me to things I have never tried before. I recommend this as a top takeaway in Rotherham.

Deliver was very quick within half an hour of ordering it was here, which was great but not when you open the food to it being stone cold, couldn’t work it out how they managed that. Forgotten items but from the taste of the “edible” food which wasn’t much, it wasn’t worth phoning up for the missing items to be delivered the only decent thing was the salad on burger. Pretty expensive for the lack of food and quality too. I don’t do reviews but it was a must for this one. Won’t be using again.

The food is disgusting! Ordered what I thought was a hot kebabwith ketchup and mayo and received a cold not even warm pitta bread with kebab meat that wasn't fit for the dog and the sauce was awful took 1 bite and threw it away! Avoid this place like the plague if you can!

Called to this takeaway and to be honest I’m not impressed, the keema nan didn’t have any meant in it from what I could tell, I ordered pilau rice and got what looked like boiled rice. And the karma was wasnt any thing to shout about overall not impressed, I call from time to time and from what I can remember It wasn’t this bad last time so safe to say I won’t be calling in again unfortunately.

I'm fussy with food, we've ordered on and off for years. Lately the currys have been excellent not sure if they have a new chef. Enjoyed our food just maybe add a little more flavour/spice to the wedges.

Fast delivery and good quality food and portion sizes recently improved loads from what it used to be like in my opinion

The food quality is worst. Plus some prices are way too high for their portion size. The staff will pour the sauces on top of your food without even asking, make it very unpleasant but just to save them few pennies on their sauce tubs. Not recommended at all.

I drive past Jacko's more a less everyday never expected food to be so good, definitely worth 5 star, certainly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food, large choice of menu certainly something for everyone. Will be recommending this place to all family and friend's.

I was absolutely disgusted with the phone operator I did my order online and he was sympathetic at all when our order took 1 and half hours later, hung up on the phone when I just asked where our order was and just kept saying your order is out and I'm in a box with black windows so I cant see where they are

Hi , I placed and Order on 1st of March 2024 - I Had a £50 order , Pizzas , starters and Curry’s. I was told 20 mins for my order to be ready , I arrived after 25mins and my pizza was ready but not my curry I was told 10 mins as my Curry wasn’t ready yet. I waited Another 15mins and it was ready. The shocking part is the chef who Made my curry Was Picking His nose constantly, and Playing about on his mobile phone , Kept Shouting at other Staff members. I went home And tasted my pizza it was like eating Cardboard, Base was Really hard and Smelt Funny and also found a Plastic Piece inside my pizza. I was put off my curry due to the chef Having his fingers in his nose. But The Shami Kebabs Were the Star of the Night. If The Manager is reading this Review, Please Make appropriate changes as I loved this establishment and it really has took a toll. Micheal.
