Myself and my friend came here for coffee. The coffee was lovely and very reasonably priced but the staff member who served us was rather unenthusiastic and not very friendly which was disappointing but as I say coffee was good. Plenty of seating over two floors which was good. First time here and probably wouldn’t return but I’m glad I checked it out.

Possibly the worst Latte ever! It was tasteless & cold. The quality of their stock is just average & fairly overpriced for all you get. The staff are extremely pretentious & will ignore you for as long as possible. There was four of them at the counter, two were fiddling about on their phones & the other two gossiping in the corner. I stood there for what felt like a lifetime & eventually had to make my presence known myself. The two of their phones weren't phased & passed the buck onto another girl. When she took my order she was very blunt because I'd disturbed their little break. They appear to have no customer service skills whatsoever & don't say hello, please, thankyou or goodbye. To finish it off whilst I was sitting outside trying to enjoy my rubbish coffee a "alternative" staff member kept blowing clouds of vape fumes in my direction which isn't overly present at the best of times. I've cycled by this place for years wondering what it's like & now I know. I won't be back in a hurry unless I'm utterly desperate!

The coffee pre lockdown here was a-maz-ing. Not sure what's happened but it now needs sugar to improve the taste. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff, main drawback was the limited range of food (baps and baguettes) however I would guess that's due to more focus on the "hot drinks" side of things. Unfortunately the mochas weren't great (not much taste of chocolate or coffee) and the prices were a touch on the high side for how much there was...

Since they have changed ownership a couple of months ago, the service has been really poor, the coffee quality is very bad compared to what they have been using previously, their prices has been increased and the overall value for money is not appealing as it used to be. I really loved this place and its staff members as we used to pay a visit almost every day, but now we're coming to this coffee shop approximately once a month just for the remainder of the reason we don't like this place anymore. Very much disappointed and like to see improvements ASAP.

Waitress was completely unwelcoming bordering on aggressive. I should have followed my instinct and left right away. Food and coffee was cold when she eventually brought it to our table. The entire place is grubby and the upstairs area has an institutional feel. I wanted to complain at the time but my companion did not want to fuss. Food, coffee, staff, service and overall impression was a complete letdown so take my advice and go elsewhere.

Called in here today for food, was told by 2 servers that they would be with us shortly so we waited, and waited. A third server who was too busy drawing on a napkin to take our order then served a person who walked in after us while we still stood there in front of her. The most gobsmacking service I have ever experienced.
