Great little bakery cleveleys hidden gem of the bakery world . Love the spinach, quiche, trifles, pies and cakes. All made on the premises by a family who been there for generations. Well worth a treat if you’re in cleavleys

My absolute favourite meat and potato pies! Always have one when I visit Cleveleys. I also love their sweet stuff like Eccles cakes, parkin, scones and "snaps"

Thought I'd grab a pie from Beans as they are pretty damn good. Asked for steak and got cheese. Only found out when I heated it up at home. Shoud have guessed as it had a big C in pastry on the top of it. Allergic to cheese so that was a waste of £2.30.

I’ve been to a few bakeries in my time but this place has the unwanted award from me as the worst bakery I’ve ever been too. Stale oven bottoms Stale dry meat pies Stale dry Parkin, I mean how do you make Parkin dry? Rock hard dry stale chaps. My poor rescue dog wouldn’t even go near this crap.

My husband and I had a pie from Mr Beans, good to see they are as delicious as I remember them, full of very tasty steak, great value, a treat, they have lots of lovely home mad cakes and pies, we visit this shop every time we visit Cleveleys. Highly recommend

I went in and before I could even get to the counter, got shouted at by a rude woman who had the customer service of the child catcher. I can safely say I will not be back and would recommend that you went to grimes or any other pie shop in the world.

I went in to buy some cakes but the staff were too busy talking among themselves to serve me so I walked out. Cleveleys is full of shops and I soon found another that had what I wanted.

The sausage rolls are amazing, the meat and potatoe pies are good (prefer a little more colour on the pastry personally). But the sausage rolls are amazing dont bother with any other bakery for sausage rolls!

Even if only to buy the cherry scones you must pay a visit here. Amazingly tasty, rustic looking. Could have eaten three and they're large. Didn't rate the potato cakes though. Hoping that's the only thing that isn't to my taste, there.

Now you are talking pies and cakes. Better than POUND SHOP TACKLE The family love Mr Bean. The outlaws used to swear by them. Every weekend she would by a pie to take back to the caravan. You would be more than likely skint on a Sunday after a Saturday Night on Cala Gran Caravan Park. Unfortunately they have passed on .Occassionally I will buy one. A big one takes some eating by yourself. The wife doesn't do pastries. Most lancashire lads were brought up on Black puddings and PAYS. If any Southern Softies are visiting try a propper pie. Thats one of the things that makes Lancashire Lads Where men are nen Where women love them

Recently spent a week in Blackpool and had never visited Cleveleys on prior visits. This time I was determined to go and have a look. It was nothing special, mainly small independent retailers with the usual high street names, poundland and wilko to mention a couple. Was standing outside a bakery, looking in the window, waiting for my partner to make up her mind and buy something when I pointed to the iced buns and asked her to get me one. I'm not normally one for buy pastries, but the bun took my fancy. She'd bought me a pineapple and cherry bun, instead of the regular iced bun I had pointed at.....and am glad she did. It was fantastic. I have never eaten an iced bun like that in my life, moist, soft, full of fruit and a taste to die for. I couldn't put it down and I'm not one for eating out in the street, but i couldn't put it down. I purchased another one for later, it was that good. We still had another couple of days left in Blackpool, so on the last day, on a spur of the moment thing, i jumped on the tram, got off at Cleveleys and went back to the bakery and bought several more of those buns. They never made it back home with me. They are that good. It's a pity they don't do mail order......or do they?

Popped in 4 a light lunch again today, still no dairy alternatives to milk or butter, it is so surprising in this day and age that this is not offered, do we take our own, prices r reasonable but not cheap. Good toilets though and lots of room between the tables.

The Priory is a beautiful place. In the heart of a picturesque village. It’s a building full of exquisite stone masonry and woodwork detail. I loved the restaurant. Great food - we were served a delicious liver dish, my husband had the steak pie and was very happy. Beautiful comfortable room. Will be back and have recommended to a work colleague who is on her way in the summer. Thank you for a lovely stay. Veronica.
