Very friendly welcome, homely feel to the place. Had feta and sauce with pitta which was warm and soft. Followed by mixed Gyros which was amazing. So flavoursome I forget to take pictures.

Ordered via Uber eats. Pitta bread missing and food not as described in the description or image. Genuinely feel robbed. Image one of what the food should have looked like. Image two is what I got minus the pitta bread which did not arrive. Over cooked and extra salty meat.

Visited yesterday evening as my daughter had purchased Groupon voucher and didn't really know what to expect. Service was so friendly and welcoming, atmospheres very relaxed and very comfortable cosy interior. We ordered moussaka and dips etc for starters. We all really enjoyed our food and would definitely go there again. So pleased to discover this local restaurant !

My partner decided to take me out for dinner on my birthday to this wonderful place. The food was absolutely wonderful. Personally my favourite dishes were the mussels and my partners main dish which was the barbouni. I ordered the monkfish which was also a delight to eat. The setting and lighting was wonderfully romantic and cosy. The restaurant does not have too many tables which makes it very peaceful to be at and enjoy some great Greek authentic food. The service for me was the best part. Asal is such a lovely waitress and is super attentive. She took her time to inform us about the dishes of the day and restaurant recommendations. She is a star and we will definitely be back again. Thanks !

Wandering through the charming streets of Bayswater, a glimmer of Greece caught our eye—a quaint, authentic Greek restaurant on Hartford Road. A hesitant venture at first, given a string of disappointing local Greek meals, soon turned into an unforgettable culinary delight. From the moment we stepped inside, the warm atmosphere enveloped us, punctuated by the laughter of satisfied diners and the gracious hospitality of the owner. The aromas of roasted lamb and oregano filled the air, teasing what was to come. As the dishes arrived, each plate was a masterpiece. The lamb melted in our mouths, its flavors a perfect harmony of tender juiciness and rich spices. The village salad, vibrant with crisp cucumbers, ripe tomatoes, and tangy feta, transported us to the sunlit terraces of the Aegean. And then there was the chicken sandwich—simple yet extraordinary, leaving a lasting impression long after the last bite. This wasn't just a meal; it was a journey back to the heart of Greek culture, where tradition meets culinary artistry. Now, this hidden gem is more than just a restaurant—it's our new go-to for a home-cooked feast and a dose of Mediterranean joy. A must-visit for anyone in Bayswater seeking true Greek authenticity, delightful service, and incredible value for money.

I love this place. Been many times on my visits to the capital. Food is always good and always at a decent price. The staff always make you feel welcome and make room whenever you arrive. Couldn’t recommend enough and, as always, will be back

I come here every time I’m in London and it never fails to be one of my favorite meals. Tucked away on a side street with a small bar and chairs that line counter seating, the service is always friendly and well paced. There are regular dishes (garlic prawns, octopus, sweet potato patatas bravas) and some new ones each time (scallops, fish cakes) so you won’t get bored of the menu. I’ve never had something I didn’t enjoy or absolutely love. Excellent flavors, great for sharing tho very large groups wouldn’t do well here given the seating arrangements. Extensive (mostly) Spanish wine list. On a weekend night it can be loud and lively. On a rainy weekday it can be chill and relaxed. When it’s nice out you might be lucky to get one of the small tables outside and feel the energy of the neighborhood while you eat. All great ways to enjoy Copita.

Great for a quick bite with ok prices. The food was tasty and it's in a gorgeous area too. We had the aubergine, cod and lamb meatballs. The cod was done well. It's a little cramped with adjacent tables, a tad too close too each other. This was my first time to The Real Greek. I believe they are a chain and you can find them in several locations across London. Lots of vegetarian options and also great if you just want a light meal. They serve the tapas on a tiered stand which looks rather fancy, and reminded me of afternoon tea!
