A so-called Greek restaurant serving food that has nothing to do with Greece. What a joke. It’s shameful how you mock Greek culture by presenting nonsense dishes as Greek — they’re not Greek, they’re not even worthy of a name. Total disappointment.

We really enjoyed our meal, and found Guannis who was our waiter to be an excellent host. He made us feel like home and gave helpful suggestions and feedback on the menu. Thank you again is and well be back again!

Came in on a bustling Friday night and they were happy to accommodate a table for one - service from that point was next to none! Giannis made sure I was taken care of and made the best selections. Food was fresh, flavorful, and filled the soul.

Food Experience • The flatbread paired with the spicy feta dip (htipiti) was the highlight-fresh and flavorful. • The chicken skewer was slightly burnt and had to be returned, which was disappointing Recommendation
Overall, the meal was underwhelming. It’s okay to skip this place-nothing particularly great about the food. There are better options in Covent Garden • The lamb meatballs were just okay, nothing memorable.

This restaurant was very friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and great value. We had the set menu and it filled us up all day. Great choices from the menu. Gianni was able to explain dishes and nothing was too much trouble for him. Great staff. It was fabulous to have a different experience and enjoyed the whole experience here.

Had a fantastic meal, food was really delicious and the service was fantastic. Big thanks to Giannis who really made us feel welcome and was so kind and lovely to my Mum. This is our second visit and would thoroughly recommend as you won’t be disappointed. Great value too considering you’re in London!

Simple Greek cuisine. tapas and more. Went for a quick snack at lunchtime. It was solid and what stands out is the friendliness of the hosts. Taramosalata was the highlight. On Sundays there was a kids for free campaign. Is a mix of snack bar and simple restaurant. We would be happy to recommend If you want to eat Greek but simply.

First time visiting The Real Greek Covent Garden and we loved it! A vegetarian family of 4 ate delicious food served quickly and with a smile. Special mention to Gabi who was lovely. We’ll be back soon.

It's the first time I actually eat in a Greek restaurant, London!! Exquisite treatment, impressive food!! Highly recommended!!

I went there after the Opera with my boyfriend. He had tried Greek food before, I hadn’t - so I was equally excited and a bit wary to try it. We got the Taramasalata with a side of Greek flatbread, which was amazing (I liked it even better than my regular hummus, it had a mayonnaise taste to it). Then we proceeded to order the mussaka (a 10/10) and some meatballs (which were ok, but the mussaka was so good that I couldn’t focus on anything else). We ended our lunch with some coffee, I got a cappuccino which was decent in size and flavor, and he gave Greek coffee a try (which turned out to me an amazing choice). Only reason I’m rating the atmosphere a bit lower is that it is a really small place, there’s barely any space between the tables. Otherwise, it was all perfect. Many thanks to Gabi and Giannis in particular for making us feel at home! We will be seeing more of each other

Good greek food for good price!

Terrible food, within 3 minutes we had our food with a few pieces of warmed up meat... there was sausage thrown over you when you were eating, an empty plate was taken away and with the last bite... pop everything is gone Unfortunately not a high point for me

Great spot to have a nice traditional Greek dinner, nice atmosphere with traditional Greek music welcoming you. If you want you have a nice time with fast service this is the place to come.

Fantastic! We met here after the theatre. We were a bit early for our reservation but the host, Giannis made us so welcome. Our grandson ordered Greek coffee to try. It was way too strong for him and Giannis made him another drink and instructed him how best to drink it. And….at the end, did not charge us for it. The service by Giannis was beyond amazing. An excellent host. And, our server, Anvesh, was also excellent. We are not Londoners but met our London cousin who recommended the restaurant and does return. And, we will too next time we are in London. All praise.

Really good food for a family celebration, all good quality. Not cheap but it's London and overall happy with the value we got. Sharing always makes it more fun.

Delicious chicken skewer, lamb meatballs, tzatziki, pitta flat bread. Very kind staff. Portions not too big. Tables quite close to each other.

Very poor “Greek” food (soggy tomatoes, undercooked flat bread, soggy side vegetables), loos in very bad state (dirty and one with totally broken loo seat perched on top), broken aircon making very, VERY loud continuous noise. Only good things were service (nice staff) and location.

Unfortunately the food was awful, the food was hard! It seemed like they heat the food in a microwave so by the time it gets to you after its cooled down its rock hard. Too pricey for hard and inedible food.

Wonderful sit down Greek dinner. The hummus, lamb meatballs, and spinach pie were delicious! From top to bottom: lamb meatballs, spinach pie, pork skewer, chicken skewer. We did not have a reservation but Giannis got us in quickly, despite being busy. Great service!

This is a nice place to eat The food really good and service we found excellent only let down as is unfortunately very pricey. This food which is excellent is a quarter of the price if ordered locally. I don't think its the owners fault though its because the place is right in covent garden and unfortunately under a council that is very greedy re rates etc so really this place is 5 star only let down by the high prices of Central london
