The Real Greek in City of London, Westminster

This is not a posh restaurant, the seating was old wooden chairs/bench seats paired with old wooden tables. However the seats were very comfortable. In some ways this adds to the charm of the restaurant, which has a nice cosy atmosphere. A nice thing was that there was reasonable space in-between tables, and not like so many other restaurants where you feel the people on the next table are sitting at your table as they are so close. Service was quick and friendly, the food was very enjoyable, and the Prosecco was reasonable priced for Covent Garden, at £32 a bottle. This is a very nice place to eat with good service and reasonable prices.

The service was attentive and friendly. Allergies were checked and dishes were explained fully to ensure that no allergens were in the dishes selected. The wine choice was excellent and recommended by Giannis. Will definitely return.

We had a lovely meal with friends and It was nice atmosphere and good service. Delicious souvlaki. Will come back again.

A gem in Covent Garden that we keep coming back to. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the service is attentive, not too pushy, and friendly, if Marianta is your waiter you’re in the best hands!

Just down from the tube station is this wonderful little place. Lovely christmas decs outside 🎄 All of the waiters were so friendly and we got talking to both tables either side of us as it had that lovely friendly vibe 😌 The food was delicious and would highly recommend the soulvaki 😋 Would definitely return!

I love this place. Been many times on my visits to the capital. Food is always good and always at a decent price. The staff always make you feel welcome and make room whenever you arrive. Couldn’t recommend enough and, as always, will be back

Small little eatery near to the Theatres. Went before watching Mamma Mia. We booked in advance which I recommend because it gets busy. Nice and traditional Greek food. We have a meze and was very tasty. Great service and even brought a free cake out for my birthday.

The food was amazing but the service left something to be desired first of all our food took a while and our server sahil took a very long time to do alot as if he was in slow motion and when we asked to remove the service charge he said he would but only if all 5 of us left him a good review so heres your review sahil if you could speed up a tad that would be great in my opinion the brim burger van outside is far superior in both service and taste.

Ok food but the greek salad I received had the smallest thinest bit of feta I've ever seen, was mostly tomato's and the dressing was tasteless. A rip off considering it cost £10 and not at all representative of the menu description. I also had hummus and flat bread which was really nice and very filling, thankfully!

Stopped for lunch before watching the Mousetrap in Covent Garden. Had booked in advance. Table was waiting service was very efficient food arrived quickly. The lunch was fresh nicely presented and very tasty. Atmosphere was lively. Highly recommend it. Great menu choice and value for money.

I visited this restaurant with my family and it was packed. Didn’t thought I would have got the place to dine in, luckily we got a table it was very nice Atmosphere and food was extremely nice, even if it was our first time in Greek restaurant. JD helped us to order the food, wine and desserts. One of the best service we experienced. This guy can sell snow to Eskimos 😂. Very funny guy.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, ee had to wait to be seated as we did not pre-book, however it was worth the wait. If you do decide to go there make sure you have a booking to save time waiting outside in the cold!

We heard great things about this restaurant and were eager to give it a try. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food, except for the chicken skewer, which was enjoyable. The bread was overly oily, the taramasalata was too salty, and the tzatziki was too sweet and watery. As someone who loves dolma, I can confidently say that those tasted like they were microwaved. The Greek salad lacked flavor, and the cucumber didn’t seem fresh. We were never asked if we were enjoying our meal, which contributed to a disappointing experience, especially since Greek cuisine is one of our favorites.

Very simple food, very popular, but very good. All in all, excellent value for money. A good idea to eat differently and to discover something else.

Eat it, the oil and water are rich, and the taste is amazing

We had a nice time and the food was good. The service was good once we received it. However they were really busy on the Sunday, but we were stuck in a corner so the waiters never really paid much attention until we had to call them over. Once we got their attention the service was efficient. That's the only reason why I gave service 4 stars.

Ugh! As expected just off a popularLondon tourist spot, it's very expensive for what you get. Not a hint of class - cramped, noisy, bare wooden tables, cheaply made food. Staff very pleasant and fast service, but that's it.

We love the real greek, not visited this branch before and found the food good but the service a little mediocre. We would recommend however because have always really enjoyed the food at these restaurants.

Excellent Greek restaurant chain in central London We decided to have a late 'lunch time ' special before our theatre show. Whilst the 'specials' menu was sparse but adequate, we had two splendid meals at a reasonable price, although we did supplement with a side order of a Greek salad. The service was excellent, the food was plentiful, tasty, and service was quick and efficient . I can fully understand the need to boom a table beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Great little restaurant. Had the 3 meze with flat bread. Was out shopping in Covent Garden with friend last night and found this awesome Greek spot—The Real Greek. The vibe was amazing, and the lighting was so pretty. My fave was the lamb meatballs—so tender and full of flavor, perfect with the rice. The fried calamari and pork skewers were super fresh too. Definitely recommend this place if you’re into Greek food and in London!

We Love authentic Greek food, we have family in Greece. This gem of a place was excellent. Got a table immediately on a busy Saturday evening, service was amazing, drink and food orders taken in good time. Saw the food coming out and was really impressed, when our food arrived, it didn’t disappoint….. absolutely deeelicious, authentic and a true Greek taste. Rudolph and his “sister” were very attentive and gave us lots of good laughs. Thank you for making our visit one to remember.

Terrible food. Warmed up in a microwave. The one ‘star’ is for the wine - lucky the bottle was sealed and they couldn’t get their hands on it.

We had atruly wonderful experience dining at this restaurant. A member of our party is gluten and dairy intolerant, our waiter Christof could not have been more attentive and helpful. He assured our friend that the food she had chosen would be prepared according to her dietary requirements. Christof was the perfect waiter! I rarely write reviews but this was a standout experience. The food was amazing, especially the lamb meatballs and octopus. Our waiter Arti was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our experience even better. Would definitely recommend.

I’m fuming been waiting an hour and no sign of food. Left a £10 to settle the drinks. Can’t comment on the food as no one near us has had any for the past 2 hours. Ridiculous. Zero stars.

Perfect location for Central London. Great value for money £150 for 5 adults with alcohol. Great food and great service. GF and Coeliac friendly. Highly recommend

Lovely lunch. Only problem was how close the tables are. I do understand why ,as very convenient for covent garden but it was very tight

Booked a table here weeks in advance due to the good reviews but it was very average. Upon arrival we were told to wait in the street as our table wasn't ready. There was no one else waiting inside or outside. After 15mins or so another family of 3 went In and were seated. After querying with a staff member they told us to wait just inside the doorway. 10 mins later we were seated. What was the point in booking? We had meatballs, sausage, moussaka, falafel and rice. Food was ok but a bit tasteless and not as good as we have had in another real Greek location. We had the orange cake and baklava to share for dessert. The orange cake was lovely and the best thing we had the baklava was awful, but in fairness they did take it off the bill after noticing it had been left. I wouldn't bother returning if I'm honest.

We booked our table of 4 and had the £20pp meal offer. There was plenty of food for the 4 of us. The service was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere.

First time having lunch here. Quick and efficient service. Had the lunchtime deal menu which was more than enough. Left very full. Quite like this chain of restaurants.

Tastewise average. Found most of the items very high on salt!
